The Dek Bar

Billed as a 5 star dive bar. The Dive bar atmosphere part gets 5 stars, just not the food part. Then again, do you go to a dive bar for the food, or do you go for cold beer, comradery,and low prices. Most likely the latter and the odd time you get 5 star food as well. Service at the bar was excellent. This is a smoking establishment inside and out so if smoke bothers you , you may want to reconsider. Wednesday is low priced wing night, 75 cents. Lowest I've found. Minimum order is 5, same for different flavors. Only order what you can eat because you won't get a to-go box. Leftovers go in the trash. The wings weren't overly large, but a decent size. They were ok, just way overcooked, but remember 75 cents. House salad 4.50, also lowest price I've found. The salad is not elaborate, just iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes and a large portion. If price is your motivator, this is your spot. Hard to beat. I'll be back to try something else to compare. Maybe breakfast?

Great food. Will go back again soon. Would have gave it 5 stars but the allow smoking inside. They have outdoor seating also but it was raining and there was several of us.

Probably the most friendliest bar around. There is a camaraderie there that does not exist anywhere else. You can show up alone and be welcomed by the team, meaning bartenders & patrons. Lots of laughter, great music & great vibe. You can show up anytime day or night and have a great time. This place is a MUST to experience.

Love the vibe here! Casual bar with pub fare. Truth be told, I didn't order anything to eat since I was more on a pub crawl (there's alota local watering holes all clustered around this area) and had eaten at previous bar. Came for the live music on a Saturday night courtesy of 13 South who rocked!! Try a pub crawl in the area. They're fun! Party responsibly. They have a Shot Request Form here lmao! See pics. Highly recommend. Food looks like it'd be pretty good pub fare.

First time and only time. They allow smoking inside and outside, if you’re not a fan of smoke def avoid this place, we reeked of smoke even though we sat outside. It’s def a “local” bar. BEST highlight was the music by Austin Brown, YOWZA his guitar skills are freakin next level!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the music.

I’m from Ohio and since coming to Ft Myers about a year ago, I’ve been on a mission to find Pizza that I enjoy similar to what I grew up on in OH. Well I might have found it. The Dek is a cool fun local bar. The atmosphere is fun dive bar type, which I enjoy. We came here for the pizza and the pizza was on point. Maybe the closest To the best I’ve had here. If you like a thin cracker crust, square cut and edge to edge toppings (Midwest Style) then stop in for a cold pitcher and give it a try. Oh and the price points and service can not be beat. As a side note, they hosted dirty Bingo when we were there (free to play) with prizes and it was a blast. Not sure if they do that every Friday but you can check their site for events.

The Deck Bar in Cape Coral offers a relaxed atmosphere, great sound, friendly service, and a solid selection of drinks. Perfect for a casual night out in a laid-back setting.

We stopped in with friends and had drinks. Took pizza and wings to go mainly because even sitting at the outside bar it was just way to loud. I understand if that's what you would like to do is to yell at the person less than 2 feet from you so they can hear what you say then so be it. I will definitely give this place another try at another time. It's a nice smaller type bar. This could have been a rare deal.

Came in for a quick drink Becca was amazing she showed my family all the specials and was honestly the best. I highly recommend this place for business.

This place stinks.. literally and figuratively. We went with our 22 and 19 year old kids for wing night. We walked in to some haggard waitresses telling us to sit anywhere and demanding IDs. When we said one wasn't 21, could we sit outside the bar, we were told we needed to be 21to be on the premises, several times and then given names of other places we could go. I've never in my life heard of a place where you had to be 21 to even stand in the parking lot and then essentially ushered out. So if you're a retired, motorcycle riding, grey haired smoker who appreciates rude service, this is your place. Everyone else, look elsewhere.

We went to the DEL bar for happy hour 1-3. Beers were $2. It was a beautiful day so we grabbed a couple seats at the bar. A local patron gave up his seat so the two of us could sit down. ( so nice). We ordered a bucket of beer. We got 2 cold beers- mich ultra bottle & Busch lite 16 oz can and 3 beer coins ( for future beers). We reviewed the menu and since it was Wednesday--. We got wings and I ordered a cheeseburger and hand cut fries. The cheeseburger was amazing!!!Deliciously hot with fresh vegetables. Melted in my mouth. Yum. The hand cut fries were so delicious I had to eat a couple between each bite. Our bartender was polite and attentive. Prices super reasonable. Ate too much but would do it again. Worth the trip.

Its literally is the BEST dive bar EVER. Delicious food. Amazing wings, pizza, and luv taco Tuesday. Sam & Rebecca are amazingly friendly bartender.... And im not a local. Other patrons are great. Its a must visit if you're in the Cape.

Hit the Dek Bar again after going to the overrated, overpriced Boathouse Tiki Bar! LOL! Should have known better! Service at the Dek is 2nd to none! Prices at the Dek Bar are great! Food portions are huge and the Homemade House Cut French Fries will steal the heart of any French frie lover like me out there! Honestly, best fun place to go in Cape Coral!! Down to earth, fun loving staff and customer base!

Yes it's called a dive bar. It's eclectic and so are the customers. But this visit was HORRIBLE, regardless of what they call themselves. I took my 84 year old mother there on Sunday after church (yes there is breakfast) and again on Tuesday for tacos. It's casual, has outdoor seating and is dog friendly. We were encouraged to come back on Thursday for a "giveaway" night. Unfortunately, we did. All was well until a very loud and extremely rude announcement was made at 6:00 pm about a dog in a car. The dog was my mom's that I had put there two minutes before so I could use the restroom and pay my tab. The same dog that had been in the restaurant with me, under my table, with a bowl of water given to us by our waiter. The same dog that half the restaurant talked to as they went by....the same dog that played with another dog in the restaurant and was fed treats by other customers. Several Men jokingly guessed his name as "killer" because he is only 14 pounds. The announcement was disgusting as this woman said "get the fucking dog out of the car in three seconds or I'll call the police". Even as my mom scrambled to tell her that I had just took him there, she continued to spew her poison over the microphone. As my mom went to the car another customer followed and banged on her window to threaten her. What kind of establishment is this? Who allows employees to act like this? What type of place allows customers to remain and drink after assaulting another customer? It is appalling. Dive bars are fun, this place is a NIGHTMARE! Don't bother, Cape Coral is better than this.

After the way my elderly grandmother was treated by an employee and a patron of the restaurant, I would NEVER recommend this place. Drunkenly screaming on a microphone that a dog is being left in a car when the dog had been in the car for less than a minute while my mother paid the bill. And THEN when my grandmother went to the car after being publicly humiliated by the drunk employee on the microphone, allowing a patron at the bar to go out to the parking lot and bang on my grandmother's car door trying to get her to come out of the car. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. What a classless establishment.

*The Food" is excellent *The Service* is actually hard to believe. Every employee in their "happy little family" work their ass off. I have never seen anyone standing around doing nothing. Their employer is a lucky person to have such a crew! *Ambiance* it's a 5 star Dive Bar...The Best you can get

Only if you have a good attitude. This is a dive bar, great bar food, amazing pizza... don't come here if you want vegan stuff or a fine wine. Don't wear a fine silk shirt... because you'll get beer or pizza on it. Expect good service, ice colds and laughs. Often good loud music.

Don't go if your ID has ANY imperfections, they will refuse service and make you leave. My group and I visited the establishment on Sunday and everyone was served. The SAME group went tonight (Wednesday) and 2 of our IDs were not accepted. The group raged in ages from 65-22. Timmy, I believe was his name, told us that did not happen as he is there every night. When we told him we were served earlier this week he told us he may not have been there on that night. I understand laws need to be followed, however the attitude and rudeness from Timmy was unnecessary. The inconstancy and disrespect by Timmy will ensure none of us will ever be back!

A great neighborhood dive bar! Live music, drink specials and cheap food. This is not a place to take a date if you want to impress them, but f your going casual and just want to stop after a movie for a quick drink, here's the place. There are both outside and inside bars, with the band playing inside. There's not much room to dance, but that doesn't stop people.we just stopped by for happy hours ant the fries were so black, they just tasted like burnt. Sorry, I like it here but that was horrible and although the bartender offered us new fries, her comment was " I don't know what 's going on in the kitchen"

We had a group of 20 persons meeting up. So I called ahead to see if they could accommodate our group. I was told yes, we don't take reservations but if you come early shouldn't be a problem. I showed up 45 minutes early to secure a section only to find out they wouldn't nor could they seat our group. Was treated rudely as I explained what I was told. They didn't care. The place was dark and grimy looking. Yeah never tasted the food, but I'm good with that.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a bar. we arrived at 7:10 pm . they close at 8 pm. did not get to order drinks for 10 minutes and food 10 minutes after that. At 8:05 pm the bouncer came over and told us to either chug our remaining beer or leave it. really bad customer service. On top of that we ordered taco baskets. Was never asked if we wanted sour cream - they just served it with the tacis. The bill came and we were charged .75 each (they gave us two which we did not even use). A customer should be informed if there is to be an up charge for something but to not even ask and then charge is just not right.

Dive Bar - great service, good drinks. King of the cheap eats! Burgers were fabulous fresh made patties and only $5.95! French fries fresh cut! Yum! Wish we would have tried their wings too as that is apparently their specialty.

Was there and had a few drinks had two bartenders serving us only had 5 drinks if im not mistaking the norm i s a $1 tip per drink so i tiped 5 and the bar tender made a comotion about my tip next time i wont tip crap so if you dont want to be called out in front of other patrons tip high thats all that bartender was working for she could care less about service

Great food and atmosphere. Service is solid with the bartenders; sometimes it's busy but they always take care of you. For those morons who say "oh my gosh it's not classy or good decor inside," guess what? You're in a dive bar. As far as dive bars go, it's a solid place; you'll meet great people from all over.

If you are looking for a dive bar, this is the place you need to be. Good deals and plenty of beverage options. Plus dogs are allowed!

This place was a fun bar packed with locals. Bonus was that we went on a Friday night and got to play bingo from 7-9. The bartenders were also our servers and they were attentive and friendly and hilarious (they did a shift change and the night bartenders were no where near as good). The pizza was delicious and crispy. The drinks were priced really well and actually cheap in comparison to other places in the area. Very few staff wore masks and when four 20-somethings came in, the locals heckled and harassed them. Fortunately, there was an outdoor patio with ceiling fans and a good breeze, and we sat at a table as far away from the bar and other people as we could.

we have been to The Dek many times. After experience tonight we won't be back! We had a party of 4 that all ordered meals and drinks. The bill came to $65.00. When we were ready to leave one in our party had 4 wings left he wrapped up. I assume it was the manager that came out and grabbed it from the table and said "You can't take them because they are on special eat in only! He acted like we were stealing something! I hope top management looks into him and his attitude over 4 wings!!

Wow....what an unexpected & delightful find. Fun atmosphere with amazing drinks and wonderful food. The VIP Club is awesome and it's free to join. Breakfast on Sunday morning was fabulous. Chrissy, Paulie and Marissa keep the glasses full. Great place to meet up with the locals and to enjoy live entertainment. Looking forward to enjoying Football Season here this Fall.

We arrived in, and our waitress was absolutely awful. Completely disrespectful, and we walked out. I refuse to go back here, and I will never give a recommendation toward this place. It may sound petty, but service is absolutely everything. I could not give a review on the food, simply because I did not get to try it. We were so upset by the waitresses Attitude, we left. They should hire better people, as we will not be returning.

We love this place. The wait staff is always nice. They have very competitive prices, decent food and a great "deck" vibe that is unlike any other dive bar. It is not fancy but is friendly.

Fun dive bar and the food is pretty tasty too. Fri night bingo is a blast. Great servers.

My second favorite bar in Cape Coral. It's a local bar and we want to keep it that way. We live in the Cape for six months and during our away time we fly down every month for a weekend and we always wind up here at least once. Bartenders are spot on, exceptional! Friday night dirty Bingo with Corky is the best!

Service just isn't the same as it use to be. 12 empty seats at the bar and have sat here 15 min and no one acknowledged us at all. Not sure what has happened but you have to get this fixed. This place is making it where locals don't even want to come here anymore. NO TO GOS! They think their .50 cent wings are some kinda deal what a joke. I used to come here 3x a week now I'm down to 3x a year. Just isn't the same. Someone has 4-6 wings left and can't take them home . Give me a break

This is an awesome bar. Friendly staff, good food and live music. I had a Philly Quesadilla that was amazing. Philly cheesesteak in a tortilla. Great beer selection and had a killer live band playing. I'll definitely be back. Cheers.

We love this place. We make a point to come here anytime we're in the area. My husband and I are very much "live and let live" people. We were so excited to bring friends here, one of which chooses to wear a mask for personal reasons. Was so disappointed today when we arrived and our friend was shouted at "take off the mask" and some guy waved a Trump cutout in his face. Great food and drinks but know they tolerate this kind of behavior.

The DEK is your old watering hole, that you and everybody likes to go Too Chill. It is that very friendly place who's people seem to know you even though you have never been there before. You can start a conversation or not. It's your place, you chose. The food is a great value and it is good, whether it be Wings ( original Buffalo), Burgers or something healthy like a Great Big Salad. Church on Sunday is a breakfast buffet to enjoy with a very nice Bloody Mary or Cold Beer, they even have COFFEE & OJ ....

I've been coming to the dek for 5 years now. The food is fantastic!!! The dek is a barrel of laughs I have so much fun there. The bartenders are the best!!! they provide outstanding service to everyone who comes into the bar I mean everyone not just locals. I can't explain enough about how much I absolutely enjoy the bar. It is and excellent place to watch sports specialty football which I love they have all kinds of music they have an inside or outside place to eat and drink. I bring all my friends Neighbors an out-of-town visitors there and they love the bar also and have so much fun. Absolutely the best and my favorite.

been coming for Wednesday wings since we moved here a year ago. Decent food good prices. Atmosphere is dive. We enjoyed the place not much entertainment but good pours cheap decent food. They raised the Wednesday wing price from 50 cents to 75 cents, my wife ordered a burger and had to pay extra for everything put on it. The wings are medium size so a 75 cent wing is really a dollar wing. Why go to a slightly dirty (bathroom) smoky dive for the same price as a decent place.

Great little dive spot! The service is fast and everyone is always very nice. They have a great buffet brunch on Sundays too! Dive bars always mean less than exciting bathrooms, but that's to be expected. The live music we saw on Saturday night was wonderful!

25-30 minutes to get a beer because the bartender girl wants to spend forever at the end of the bar taking to her friends. No apologies, didn't do rounds every now and then to see if people were good. Only redeeming thing is the beer was cold. The server before our worthless bartender was really good. If I were a manager I would look at replacing someone who can't perform a simple job. It caused 8 people out for a bachelor party to go somewhere else. That's a good loss in sales.

What a great little find! If you go in with the mindset that it's a local joint it will NOT disappoint! The staff were ALL incredibly kind and helpful to this first timer and the food was on point! Yes, your salad is going to come in a styrofoam bowl..... get over it! The heart attack burger was GREAT! Thank you Dek Bar! I will be back!
