Matchbox Pizza Plans to Open in Bethesda Row by the Summer | Eater DC

"Debuting inside the new Courtyard and Residence Inn next to the Convention Center in late 2018, The Delegate marked Thompson’s entry into the hotel-restaurant space as part of the group's broader expansion efforts." - Tierney Plumb

The Delegate at Convention Center Gives D.C. Another Hotel Dining Option | Eater DC

"Inside the new Courtyard and Residence Inn next to the Convention Center (901 L Street NW), I found the cavernous hotel restaurant The Delegate now running on all cylinders as a full-service spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner located off the dual-branded Marriott hotel lobby. The menu offers starters ($8–$18) like French onion soup, Rappahannock oysters, black sesame ahi tuna, and fried green tomatoes with Firefly goat cheese and jalapeno fig jam, and heftier orders ($20–$42) such as pappardelle, crab cakes, and wild salmon with succotash and crispy lemon pepper chives; a pizza oven will be installed soon to produce Neapolitan-style pies. On weekends brunch (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) features French toast and berries, warm skillet cinnamon buns, and carving and omelette stations, while weekday happy hour (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.) at its 40-seat modern bar discounts beers, wine, and bar bites. The operation feeds the property’s 500-plus guest rooms, is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and the bar stays open until midnight on weekends for badge-wearing convention guests. The cocktail list ($13–$18) leans D.C.-centric with the blood orange-accented Death & Taxes, mezcal-infused Only Spy I See, and Granny Smith Goes to Washington featuring Cotton & Reed Dry Spiced Rum, and the name is a playful ode to the political appointment — the delegate — who can’t vote on the U.S. House floor. The restaurant is run by the family-run group that also operates Hen Quarter nearby and recently acquired Matchbox." - Tierney Plumb

Service Bar Supports Black Restaurant Week With a Cocktail Competition | Eater DC

"I noticed signage at the corner of 9th and L Streets NW promising a fall 2018 opening for The Delegate in Mount Vernon Square; its social media suggests a Southern-leaning menu with dishes such as fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and jalapeño fig jam and seared scallops atop sweet corn risotto." - Gabe Hiatt

Google
Great food in a great, chill place. Our server Benny was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We had the Ribeye, French Onion soup, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Grit and Shrimps, and the DC Cajun Pasta. Everything had a great taste, well seasoned in a beautiful presentation. The delegate is inside the Marriot hotel.

I stayed in the hotel upstairs during a business trip and ordered some appetizers to take up to my room. I order the fried bbq wings and an order of deviled eggs. Everything was hot, fresh, tasty and well seasoned. Azeb took my order, she has great hospitality. Thank you.

We celebrated my wife's birthday with brunch at The Delegate, and it was a total win. The vibes were classy yet laid-back, the service was on point, and the food? Delicious. Every bite felt like a little celebration. My wife had an amazing time, and so did I—definitely a spot we’d come back to.

Google
The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Erika’s service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.

Google
We were there around noon on Thursday. Service was good. Food was quick. The deviled eggs were delicious. We also had the Members Only turkey sandwich. It was larger than expected. It was stacked like a club. Coffee was strong, which I enjoyed.

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Absolutely loved everything we ordered! The shrimp and grits were phenomenal; creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Paired it with a yummy espresso martini that hit all the right notes. The Caesar salad with blackened chicken was another standout. It was fresh, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend it! Special shoutout to our waitress Azeb, who was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
Mia was our server for lunch and was very pleasant and accommodating! The chicken sandwich is delicious, I swapped the ranch for garlic aioli. Fries were crispy, salted perfectly, and not to oily. Overall very nice place to stop for a bite especially right next to the convention center. The atmosphere is very simple but is nice, clean and comfortable.

Excellent bar! My first time in DC for work and got this hotel. The bar staff was outstanding especially Azeb!! Beautiful bar with great food and drinks!!

Yelp
The Delegate in Washington, DC, is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The menu offers a great variety of both classic and creative options, perfect for any breakfast lover. I tried their avocado toast, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, while my companion had the eggs benedict, which was equally impressive--perfectly poached eggs with a delicious hollandaise sauce. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, making it an ideal place to start the day, whether you're catching up with friends or having a business breakfast. The service was friendly and prompt, adding to the overall positive experience. With its central location and great food, the Delegate is definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying breakfast in DC!

Yelp
Came in with a few friends for a late dinner. It's weird.... It's like the hotel lobby. Not really a restaurant. Minus 1 star. Ambiance not good. Food was decent. I had a fish sandwich with fries. It was decent. Service was crazy crazy slow and terrible. We arrived with there were very few people. It took forever for them to take our order, check in on us, give us a check, refill waters....

Yelp
This week I have been staying at the Courtyard Downtown. Part of my great experience was dining at the delegate I dined there several times mainly at the bar. Unfortunately the bar was out of a ton of beverages (liquor). No options for those in my party that were drinkers. I did have a great dining experience with Victoria which is why I left a higher star review. Victoria was super friendly and worked so hard to make sure my table was pleased. I had the grilled chicken Sandwich which was mighty tasty. Victoria was quick to check on my party and refill drinks timely. The venue had great menu with tons of options. Every plate that came by looked amazing. I will definitely eat there again.

Yelp
It's a hotel bar, so expectations were not high, and they just met them. The service was poor, unfriendly, and inattentive. The beer selection was OK, not great. I ordered a club sandwich which was just fine. Probably give it a 6 out of 10. The bread was pretty stale. The woman next to me ordered the flatbread which looked disgusting and like it was bought in a grocery store freezer. Will likely avoid going forward.

Yelp
The rooftop of our hotel is actually the Delegate Rooftop bar. It is much nicer at 8:30 when there's a cool breeze, lights, comfy seating, music and a bar. The view is obstructed by the large convention center. Since we are staying at the hotel, there isn't pressure to get drinks at the bar. There is a Delegates Restaurant & Bar in the lobby. There is sports on the big screens & it always looks dead. I haven't seen more than one or two sitting there.

Yelp
Wonderful food, fantastic service. Such a beautiful lively place. Our waiter was so fun

Yelp
The Delegate is situated in the hotel of a Marriott property. The menu is comprised of dishes from Milk & Honey, which is next door. I came here before happy hour, so the prices were steep and the place was empty. The bartenders were nice and social, which is always a good thing. The food was blah. The shrimp & grits were way too salty, the deviled eggs had a bitter taste to them, and the bun on the burger wasn't tasty. As far as the cocktail, it was okay, but I was surprised that they charged me $2 for the square ice.

Yelp
I so wanted this to be a great review... but alas no. Yesterday I had a very pleasant couple of drinks and one meh. What happened you ask? The third drink was made by a different person and I could tell she assumed she knew what I ordered so I overlooked the error. Today I went in to order food and get that awesome drink "Devil's Advocate". I should have gotten a hint when the person taking the order confused with an Old Fashioned. I said whichever, fine, then he corrected with he had already started the Spicy Margarita. Like I said should have taken a hint. Well as you could guess I watched him make it, nothing like on the menu at all!!!! The taste is like there is gin in it, it is short of awful. When he asked I was honest and said no it was not right, and tells me works here all the time, I have not seen him all week. I asked to be checked out, it took 3 try's to get my check. Finally got it. Now the staff is being very stiff. Unfortunate because yesterday was very nice.

Yelp
Conveniently located near the Convention center and can't understand why so understaffed. Co-worker and I sat and no one came to take our order or give us a menu. Being first timers we went to the bar and the bartender was kind, gave us a menu and said someone would coke take our order. 15 mins passed and no one came by our vicinity. So we left for Unconventional Diner which we were glad we did.

Yelp
Had lunch here with a few friends. Easy location especially if you're here for conference. Literally just across the street, located within the courtyard hotel. Lunch fare with standard. I had a kale salad with salmon. Nothing special. Salmon was cooked well.

Yelp
The service and ambiance was great. Our server Victoria gave us menu suggestions and was very friendly and attentive. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with bread and it was delicious. I would definitely go back for the service and food. I only have 4 stars because I went to the bar before we ate and they were out of a few different types of items like Jameson and patron...definitely staple items you must have stocked at a bar.

Yelp
I spent 4 nights at the Hotel and the restaurant's service is not consistent - staff could benefit from more training. If you have to eat here, ask for Julia L (very friendly and attentive!) . Food is "OK, there is an opportunity to improve presentation and avoid bringing greasy plates to the table (doesn't look good ‍.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience at this bar and restaurant. Anthony was amazing, so personable, and made us the best drinks I had in DC!! This place is a vibe ...definitely stop by if you want good music, the best drinks and great service. Also, thanks to Shakir for tending to us as well. Also, earlier Larry served us, and he was amazing too! Great staff!

Yelp
We ate at The Delegate on the last of 5 nights at the Residence Inn. It was so great that we wished we'd eaten there more times. Amir was our server and could not have been more friendly, polite and attentive. Such a delightful young man! The food was awesome, and having Amir take such good care of us just made it all the better. Thank you Amir! Everyone that worked there seemed like such nice people. The manager was very present and made a point to come say hello and ask how we were enjoying our dinner. A very nice dining experience!

Yelp
Very good food. Service was awesome. We went in the middle of the day and it wasn't too busy, but it was cozy and a place you can take friends and hang out.

Yelp
Bad service. Sat at the bar. Staff left dirty dishes next to me. Everyone just passed by as if it was someone else's problem. I had to ask for my glass of water twice before they brought it out. And my food took a long time. Too bad..it's a nice place but just don't seem to care about service.

Yelp
I kept it simple when I was here and stuck with a salad and soup. Both the TOMATO SOUP and CAESAR SALAD had a bit of a weird taste- and it was the same weird taste in both. I have a feeling it might be the water used? Not sure. The FRIED GREEN TOMATOES were the best thing on the table. They came sprinkled with feta cheese accompanied by a thick, sweet molasses sauce which went well together. The servers were very sweet and KEITH was incredibly fast and attentive. Thank you, Keith!

Yelp
Delicious food, definitely recommend it. Seems like a pretty decent value for your money.

Yelp
Excellent brunch! Enfiniti "Fin" was so kind and took care of me. Not my first time staying here, and will be back!

Yelp
This is, by far, one of the best rooftop venues in the city. The Delegate sits atop the Residence Inn, across from the Washington Convention Center. I visited this gem a few years ago when my Bestie threw a birthday party for her guy. Loved it then and love it now. I visited this spot on a Wednesday evening where the weather was absolutely perfect! We found seats on the sofas to grab a cocktail and lite fare. I ordered a Margarita. He ordered a Tito's. We had wings with mambo sauce that were YUMMY!! I have to mention the amazing service from Dawan Hatch! We were having trouble ordering one of the build your own cocktails online (they have the QR code thingy where we place an order online, then they bring the order to you) and Dawan went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to successfully navigate the site and order our desired items. I gave an extra 2 stars in this review thanks to Dawan and Julio who also made our experience one to remember. Check out The Delegate one evening when you want a nice and chill rooftop spot with good vibes, music and service.

Yelp
As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by our waitress. The food was excellent our waitress was amazing, I would definitely recommend this place to friens and family.
google avatar

Kristin L.

Yelp
Service was good, prompt. Pretty busy as there were many conference attendees popping in for a bite or coffee. Avocado toast was just okay. Should be half the price than they are charging. Maybe other menu items are better
google avatar

Yelp
The rooftop was closed during my visit, but the food at the bar/lobby area was amazing. I ate here everyday during my stay! Def a place to try their food. Service was also great !

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott. This was suuuuper convenient after traveling all day.Theres are multiple bistro style tables, TVs playing the sports, and ample bar seating.I opted to sit at the bar, I was immediately greeted by 6 people. How exciting right!... not quite no one offered me a menu/water or took my drink order.knew for a fact I wanted something light.I waited 10 mins before one of the bartenders came from the other side of the bar to give me a menu. The long story short was the customer service wasn't that great. My purple drink tasted odd but by the time anyone checked back with me it was half water from the ice melting. The bartender said he would fix it but went back to his friends .Everyone on my side of the bar asked for our checks a few times.Until the same lady that gave me the menu appeared again. It seems like a nice place maybe they just had an off night

Yelp
Had a bite and drinks on the rooftop at The Delegate. The staff was pleasant, great views, and tasty food.

Yelp
This restaurant is inside Courtyard by Marriott. When my son and I arrived for our 1 week vacation, we checked in and unpacked. About an hour afterwards, we so hungry as we didn't eat breakfast as we had an early flight from Raleigh, NC. I contemplated eating here because of the prices but I failed to really see anything else that was close. My son said he wasn't hungry and got lemonade to drink. I got Shrimp and Grits with Sweet Tea. When I asked the waitress if the tea was sweet, she said that it comes in a bottle and would typically just pour in a glass with ice because it's not cold. She asked me if I wanted the glass or bottle and told her that I had no preference. It looked like the Gold Leaf tea. We ordered at 11:15am. Waitress brought back drinks about 2 minutes later. The tea was not as sweet as I was hoping and the glass looked small, in my opinion. I will add that there was no beverage menu. Waitress had to verbally say what drinks they offered. My son decided he was hungry and ordered some fries. My son told me that his lemonade was sour and it tasted like he was having lemons. His facial expressions definitely matched He ultimately said it was nasty. I tasted it and it was very fresh. The taste of a squeezed lemon was apparent. Our dood came about 10 minutes after ordering. His fries were fresh and tasty. The temperature of my shrimp and grits was inconsistent as it was very hot in some places and warm in others. However, it was really delicious. I noticed my son was making faces while drinking his lemonade. When I asked him why he was doing that, he said he was thirsty and that was all he had to drink. We discussed alternative options for drinks. While waiting for waitress, I noticed that the juice they have was Ocean Spray, in a big bottle. I can't remember if it was orange juice or apple juice. Nonetheless, I ultimately had to go to waitress, who was at the bar, to let her know about the drink and order a water. Before she could bring the water to the table a few minutes later, my son drank all the lemonade. It was semi funny because he held his nose while drinking it. My son ate half of his fries before saying he was full. I knew he wasn't really hungry lol. I was full after I ate my food. The waitress came about 5 or so minutes after we were done. After asking for and reviewing my receipt, I noticed that was charged dinner price versus brunch price for my shrimp and grits, which was a $2 difference. I was also charged for the lemonade... but since he drunk it all, I guess I really can't complain about that. However, when it comes to my tea, I don't feel like the glass of tea equated to the bottle, especially with the ice. In retrospect, I should've gotten the bottle or they at least should've given me what was left. Overall, food was good. The service could've been better. I didn't even complain about the prices because it was only a few bucks and I was sleepy and ready to get to the room to take a nap. I didn't go back for the rest of my stay.

Yelp
It was restaurant week, so we opted for brunch here given the solid menu options. I wasn't aware that the restaurant was a like hotel lobby bar and restaurant, wide open to lots of traffic. Not a big fan. We were seated towards the back, near the restroom pathway. Our beverage of choice was the classic mimosa. The champagne to juice ratio was just OK. Could've gone for a couple more ounces of champagne lol! We started off with the deviled eggs and the fried green tomatoes. The deviled eggs did not miss, the salty savory flavor was perfect. The tomatoes were absolutely a No, the breading/batter used was super gritty and dense tasting. They got that dish all wrong, which is a shame since the jalapeño jelly was so so good... but couldn't save the dish. For our main, we opted for the smothered chicken and biscuits and the L street scramble. Though the fried chicken tenders are small, resembling nuggets, they were seasoned well and fried exceptionally well. The biscuit itself was an 8/10, almost perfect but not quite because it was almost TOO dense. But stacking each biscuit bite with egg, chicken, grits... yeah I know, greedy...was perfect! My cousin said that the scramble was bland, she had to add table salt and pepper to her dish. Unfortunately I didn't get to confirm her review with a bite since I was digging into my dish. For dessert, we had the mixed fruit and cinnamon roll. The fruit seemed fresh, and was served nice and cold. As for the roll? Pretty disappointing. It was very tough and stiff! The glaze was yummy and that's it, we barely touched it. (They actually bought out the dessert barely through our main so it set). Service wise? 2/10. Incredibly slow, but not materially noticeable since we were in deep convo. Also, didn't like how the dessert was served TOO soon, it shouldn't have been fired so soon.

Yelp
The Delegate saved our celebration! We were planning a 50th birthday party for a good friend. There were 20 of us. Too large of a group for main dining seating and too small for private rooms as they were requiring $3000 minimum! I dealt with Camilo. He was so patient and helpful. Service was chick fil a plus some. We had so much back and forth with our numbers but he was great. Made me feel as if I was not doing it alone. The night of the event everyone there worked hard to make everything so beautiful. Service was impeccable. The food was delicious. I chose the salmon and grits. I had been looking forward to it from the first time I read the suggested menu. The dish was amazing. Someone knew I am a sauce person and really did it right. If you have an event don't let the previous reviews scare you away. Everything on their end was awesome..call them!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good breakfast at the Delegate. Made my own omelet, bowl of fruit and a side of honey biscuits. Staff are super polite and friendly. Food was delicious and very filling.

Yelp
Was staying at this hotel and decided to check out their happy hour. The brussels sprouts were the star of the show! They were SOOOO good. Small portion but I almost placed a second order before finishing. The blackened salmon tacos were dry, and don't come with any sauce. Do NOT recommend. Fish was definitely over cooked. The wine was fine, however I was initially served it in a dirty glass, like a whole lip print on the glass. The lighting is poor at the bar and I saw the bar tender checking it and since he was pouring, thought it was clean. WRONG. He poured me a new glass though. The bites at HH are $8/ order and include things I didn't try like chicken wings, fried green tomatoes, and sliders. Drinks ranged from $5-8 and HH is only from 330-630pm M-F. Can't speak in parking since it's inside the courtyard marriot and I was a guest at the time.

Keyanna T.

Yelp
I had the shrimp and grits. They were not too bad just a little over seasoned. Then service was amazing. Our server Victoria made me and my friends experience enjoyable with great recommendations and bringing out our order swiftly.

Yelp
I should've known I was going to be in for a bad time when I was able to make a last minute reservation in DC on a holiday weekend.... We were seated promptly by a young lady with a bit of an attitude despite the numerous thank you and smiles I gave her. It took roughly 10 minutes for someone to ask has anyone helped us wherein we stated no and placed our full order (drinks, appetizer, entrees). The place was dead, especially for a holiday weekend, not to mention there's a convention going on. The waiter brought my drink and I heard the table next to us who was there before us murmured they ordered the same drinks a while ago and still had not received them. An hour later, they brought out my husbands meal and told me they did not have the ingredients to make mine. 1. How do you make one person at the tables meal and not the others??? 2. How do you wait an entire hour to inform me you can't make mine?! So am I expected to sit here and watch him eat while you take another hour to cook? 3. How did it take an hour for a burger and yet we still have not received our fried green tomato appetizer?... Additionally, my husbands meal was cold and the order was messed up. Which goes to show his meal had been ready for a while and just sitting in the back. They asked to speak to a manager we stated yes. The manager never came! We waited half an hour and no manager. The table beside us finally received their food and waited forever to receive silverware and napkin. They ordered sweet tea and a cocktail and were still waiting for their drinks! The table to our right then chimes in and said welcome to the club they screwed up our meal as well, took over an hour to get our food, and brought out our appetizer after our entree all cold! We then requested the check so we could leave so that I could get dinner and they could not find our waitress to give us our check! I've never seen a business ran like this. How can you hold patrons hostage by not giving us the check. We shouldn't even have to pay for this after this disaster. Every time we turned around we saw another patron complaining about their service or lack of service and messed up order. Absolutely insane.

Melissa A.

Yelp
In town for a conference and needed a place to accommodate a group of us after an intense meeting. We arrived right before last call and expected we may be rushed out or receive subpar service. However, Koran and Tristan were so gracious and made us feel welcome. The drinks were fabulous and the views were great. Would recommend!
google avatar

Foodie T.

Yelp
Keith welcomed me with amazing hospitality and service. He was an attentive waiter and made sure that my meal was exactly to my liking. I would definitely return just for the ambiance and great service. Thank you to Keith and the team for working together to make sure that every guest was welcomed and served well. The hard poached egg was a little runny and the bacon was a little over crisped and thin.... But the spectacular service with kindness and a smile made it worthwhile!

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Food was amazing! And AZEB is an amazing server! I will be coming back. The food and everyone was also very nice.

Yelp
I WOULD RATE THIS A ZERO BUT THATS NOT AN OPTION the hostess was the only one that provided mediocre service. derrick was a flop. honestly derrick, our server, should be fired because he was tweakin. my chicken sandwich was only good because i was starving from the eternal abyss of a wait. at last the sandwich exited the kitchen lacking all the promised toppings bc the chef got "confused". THEN DERRICK PATTED ME ON THE BACK WITHOUT CONSENT‼‼‼apologizing for the mistake. SMH. the delegate?!?! welegates worse. "their system" had difficulties producing and splitting our check. no shame in leaving a 0% tip tonight
google avatar

Faren J.

Yelp
Attempted to grab lunch before my flight after being in town for a conference: One entry way said to see the host for seating at another entrance, so I walked around that way...where I was ignored for 10+ minutes. The only staff member I saw was the bartender scrolling on their phone, completely oblivious to anything or anyone around them. Around the 10 minute mark, another person comes around the corner and tells me to "grab a seat anywhere" as they rushed out of the restaurant.

Taylor-Kai H.

Yelp
I came in earlier due to our conference being right across the street. I normally don't write reviews, but our server Lay was very patient and helpful. Sometimes customers come in being very rude and entitled, which happened today, but that didn't stop her from giving us great customer service. That meant a lot.

Restaurant G.

Yelp
Met up with a few friends after work at The Delegate. Great hotel bar. We had a few drinks and then dined at the bar as well. Staff was nice and friendly. We had fried green tomatoes and hummus as an appetizer. Better than expected. Entrees were DC pasta, Steak Frites and Crabcakes. These too were really good. Overall we will be back as the place was fairly priced and we had a great time
google avatar

Nathanael G.

Yelp
The Delegate is an adequate hotel restaurant. I had wings and the pecan crusted chicken. It took a while for the food to come out, so that's why it's not five stars, the kitchen didn't seem to have a good handle on that. But the food was decent. What made it really good was the server (Ismael) was so sweet and friendly and while he was wearing a mask, he had such a beaming smile that you could tell from his face. Would definitely come back because of him.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Don't go for the service, go for the food! There were not enough menus for our party of 4 both times we went. All the dinner options we tried were top notch. Service wasn't bad, just slow. If you're not in a hurry definitely check it out!
google avatar

Euphoria T.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my meal at the Delegate. They currently serve Milk and Honey dishes. I got the shrimp and grits as well as the killer wings. Both dishes were very tasty, especially the shrimp and grits. They also have fresh lemonade which tastes great! It didn't take long for me to receive my food and Ishmael, my waiter, was very attentive. Plus the restaurant seemed clean with a nice ambiance. I will definitely be back.

Ashley D.

Yelp
We ate dinner here and it took a very long time. We waited for drinks. We waited for refill for our waters. We waited for food and the bill. I ordered the fig flatbread the whole flatbread was mostly arugula. I had a slice of fig on each slice. I was not satisfied They also forgot one of our orders. She has to wait some more while they made it. I felt like we were sitting in the hotel lobby. Instead of it being a restaurant apart of the hotel.
google avatar

Tas H.

Yelp
We had breakfast here while staying in the hotel. We weren't really expecting much, but the food was amazing! I had the french toast (pictured), which was quite good, and the meals my family had were equally tasty. It wasn't cheap, but there aren't many options close by and the food and the convenience made it worthwhile.

Yelp
The skirt steak was great, even the garlic infused butter that comes with it. Unfortunately the sides were not that great for the traditional grilled beef meal. The staff was mediocre, they were more into entertaining themselves, like on their phones and with each other. Maybe it was to early, they were not into hospitality mode I guess. It was not hospitable at all for a downtown eatery, not worth the prices they are charging either. Overrated establishment.

Yelp
Fulfilling and well portioned lunch options! On the high end but when in town for work, treat yourself. Customer service was amazing and nice hotel restaurant. Plus, there's Happy Hour! Noted for next time.

Yelp
The ambiance is very relaxed and chilled especially after having a long day. The manager, Anthony is awesome. He took well care of us. Created a delicious drink. He's very attentive and had great musical selection for the evening. He was very personable. Would definitely come back when back in the area. Larry, a bartender was very attentive also. Loved to hear his interesting stories that made the day off to a nice start. Shakir, the other bartender was friendly and has great customer service.

Yelp
The delegate is a nice place to eat inside of the Courtyard Marriot. We had brunch and dinner here during our stay. Brunch was fabulous. I had the L scramble with a traditional mimosa, coffee and sparkling water and my guest had lightly scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. So yummy. The presentation on the plates was dreamy. Service was top-notch. The food was cooked to perfection. The mimosa was yummy! Dinner was sadddd and miserable. I ordered brussel sprouts (my favorite) and honey BBQ wings (very simple) and my guest ordered shrimp and grits added chicken. She tried to order a cocktail they did not know how to make it so they told her to order from their drink menu, well okay that's cool, stay in your box people. I order a gin and tonic, can you say yuck - I did! The wings were dry and squshy, how is that possible, smothered in sauce to soften them. The shrimp and grits were floating in a sauce that had an interesting smell. My brussel sprouts never came. Our waitress just kept disappearing for long amounts of time throughout the meal. No refills of water until we stopped another waiter. The bill came with precision. I bagged up fhe expensive lesson and left.
