"Park Hill has a new board game cafe that’s boasting equally exceptional gaming and food service. The Game Lounge is located in the former DJ’s Colfax Cafe, 1490 Eudora Street. It’s open now from 5 to 10 p.m., with all-day hours coming this weekend. Owner Adam Alleman also is running a crowdfunding campaign to build out the restaurant’s patio and add in a sound system. The Game Lounge To Throw the Dice in Park Hill - Eater Denver

"Pitched as the only one of its kind in Denver, The Game Lounge is well on target for a summer debut with a roster of food, drinks, live music, and a huge variety of indoor and outdoor gaming pursuits. Owner Allan Alleman will be sharing his large vinyl LP and board game collection inside the 3,233-square-foot former home of DJ’s Colfax Cafe. Located at 1490 Eudora Street, the corner plot features a slightly raised stage in the bar area since its days as Red Octave, and Alleman intends to regularly schedule live bands, including the floated possibility of “bluegrass on the weekends for brunch?” A collection of several hundred tabletop and traditional board games will join latest releases and lawn and parlor games outdoors. Customers can also bring their favorites to play with strangers or friends. Update: Owner Adam Alleman says bands will not be booked on a regular basis. “We will be mostly spinning vinyl but might play the radio occasionally.”" - Susan Stapleton

Super nice staff, good beer (left hand flamingo) and the artichoke red pepper dip with the fried bread is super good! Lots of flavor and the fries are crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Great mid day trip on a Saturday as they just opened and very empty. Highly recommended for the food and games if you like board games ($5/person to access all they have got!)

Totally awesome local vibes here and tons of games!!! Like 500 games to choose from! Lots of unique drink specials and food items. The cinnamon ice cream was great! They have you sign a waiver for cdc guidelines and such and have movies playing inside and a sweet movie screen outside where you can have popcorn as well.

Great atmosphere. Lots of high profile games to play! Something there for everyone! Food is great and staff is friendly. I look forward to going back in the future. This is the Game Lounge Burger, waffle fries, and substituted for the "impossible burger" patty.

Bar type foods +1 level in quality. Game selection and atmosphere were great. Service was not knowledgeable about the menu and not very attentive or nice. Very few main course options. Cauliflower and drinks were great.

This is the place to go if you are really into board games or want to have a board game night with your family or friends! It’s kid friendly until 9 PM which was a plus. They have a wide selection of board games and you can even bring your own games! The only reason i rated it 4 stars is because they didn’t serve food. I was looking forward to bottomless popcorn. They did mention the kitchen will be open again in 2022 so I will be returning once they are able to serve food again. Oh and one more note, since they weren’t serving food they did allow you to order delivery or bring snacks 👍🏽

Updated review: Great selection of games and no coverage charge like some game cafes. Drink selection much improved but I'm still not impressed by the food (most of my friends have told me I'm wrong, though, and that it's great). Great patio. Parking can be rough depending on day and time. Definitely recommend.

Great place! I’ve been meaning to check it out for a while now. Samantha is wonderful. The drinks are bomb and the atmosphere is amazing. Loved the wide selection of games and am really happy to have found a new place to hang out in! Really looking forward to their patio opening up in the summer!
