The Depot Bar

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the diversity of the menu and that it was not overpriced and everything was clean. The grilled chicken sliders were awesome and the Mediterranean Salad was great. The best tasting olives I've had in a while. Not a single one was bitter or unpleasant and they put the perfect amount of feta. Usually feta gets skimped but this salad was perfectly proportioned. The sliders paired with Green Tabasco and a Michelob Ultra. I would've gotten into the better beers and mixed drinks but didn't have time today. This place is within one block of my house so no Uber home! It was a perfect walk, to and from. This is our new favorite local joint for when we don't want to cook. 🍻

Such great food! The prices have gone up like everything else around here but still a great vibe. The patio is a little awakes since it’s in the entrance. So many pool tables! Great place to go if you enjoy pool!

Had a great time here! A good sports bar with plenty of screens! I had the jalapeño poppers (they were great), and the bacon egg burger (which was really good too). Plenty of alcohol selection. Bartenders are attentive and friendly! They made a great whiskey mule (which was unique). Prices were reasonable!

We waited over 45 min at our table to have our orders taken for food. They forgot to bring us one of the meals. The table didn’t get refills that were asked for. I’ve been here a decent amount of times and the service has never been this bad.

You charge $5.50 for a bottle of beer, but can't even drop down a 10 cent piece of wax paper when you dump hot fried food? This is disgusting and I won't eat this. Do better if you want to charge more for less.

Drinks were awful, waitress did not want to serve a large table so we had to walk get service at the bar, a person at our table asked for a sweet fruity drink with no pineapple because they are allergic to pineapple....was served pineapple, madari sour tasted like Yeager...this place has gone so far downhill it below ground. Nice kid doing karaoke though

The food was kinda pricey and ig sucks they don't offer fries as a side so if u want them u have to pay 5.50 for a side and the pitcher of beer was very small they said an xl pitcher but it was only three beers and then the bees tasted watered down. I mean the atmosphere was good And the server was very nice and helpful .

My wife and I just went to The Depot for the 1st time. I've lived in Tucson over 30 years and have always heard great things about this establishment. I definitely heard right. The place is pleasant, comfortable, immaculately clean. Beer is ice cold , reasonably priced, and a great selection. Excellent food. Friendly , attentive service. Plentyof TVs for sports, pool tables, games. Need I say more? Go to The Fort lowell Depot!

Good parking. Welcomed when I walked in. My food came out fast and it was delicious. It's a sports bar so there's lots of tv's and can be a little loud.

It's a good spot to grab a beer and some wings. The bartenders are nice and the place is clean.

On 30 august 2025I visited the depot with several of my fellow service members. While seated at the bar, the owner, who appeared to be intoxicated at approximately 12:30 p.m. approached our group. He directed an inappropriate comment to a woman seated nearby, asking if she felt comfortable with a Black man sitting beside her. He then laughed and patted my friend on the back. When I respectfully confronted him about this remark, both he and another individual assumed a threatening posture and instructed us to leave the premises.

Let's see. This bar/restaurant is awesome. Friendly locals, friendly bartenders so many tv's!! The food is also pretty darn good. I recommend the meatloaf. The spaghetti special is enormous. Like, take 1/2 home for the next day! I hear the NFL pkg will be here next season. This is a good large bar where kids are welcome at the tables. Karaoke is Sat nights at 9 and there is a pool tournament every Wednesday. I personally enjoy the Buzztime trivia that this bar has. This bar skews older at happy hour but around 9 the crowd gets younger. Definitely a day scene here as well. Much better option than Danny's down the street!! Oh yeah great touch tunes music player and even a shuffle board table. Darts too. Literally everything you can ask for in a local bar n grill. Five solid stars!

Good ole classic sports bar. The walls are lined with TVs that are showing games from all different sports and leagues. In these days of different streaming services and networks, it was great to be able to watch so many different teams play at once. The nice staff and simple menu augment the sports bar feel. I think simplicity is the key with your order as well. I split a burger and steak fingers with a friends and thought the burger was fantastic. Nachos, chicken tenders, and other bar staples all looked great too. If you're looking for a comfortable spot to enjoy some classic dishes and catch the game, definitely check out The Depot!

Wonderful place to watch a game, enclosed smoking pool room attached to a full bar and tv/dining area with awesome choice of burgers pizza and a variety of other food and beverage options. Also have daily specials and a nice choice of brews on draft. I had the burger special the night I was there, the half-pounder with fries and toppers for $13, while watching the Duke X Arizona game, the food was awesome, the game, not so much. The upbeat, friendlyness of the staff definitely made up for it. Gotta go back and try the Reuben and/or Corned Beef sandwich at the suggestion of the Kitchen Manager Jenny. Sounds delicious, good portions, lots of tv viewing, several pool tables, non-smoking and smoking rooms. Glad I live close!

I was surprised hown well they accomodated my vegetarian friend! Julia took the extra time to really make sure he and I knew exactly he could have because I even ordered something apprently was not acceptable to him. I was astounded and we played pool here all night! Awesome time with friends and it never disappoints!

The owner was visibly intoxicated and made openly racist remarks toward our group. He asked one of the women if she felt comfortable sitting next to a Black man while laughing, all while patting our friend on the back in a demeaning way. We told him his behavior was inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. Instead of addressing it respectfully, he and another individual responded in a threatening manner and ordered us to leave. As we were leaving other comments was made to us.

Been going here about 2 years, nice local spot..has become a great replacement for Old Chicago. The food is AWESOME..FANTASTIC WEEKLY SPECIALS!! Drinks are strong and cold. 2 bartenders are awesome, the guy bartender is always on point...knows what his customers order and is very personable. Only critique is the music... just recognize your audience...you tend to have a mature crowd.. country, classic, rock light r&b is really the vibe that would push it to 5 STARS! Will continue to come back as it is local, friendly and again...FOOD IS AMAZING!

January 8, 2025 Desert Sharks Parrothead Club first of the year Happy Hour with 18 members attending. Food was good and the server was able to keep up with the reoccurring requests. This has been a spot with have visit frequently in our Happy Hour ventures.

Food is good. Prices reasonable. When we were there, they were short staffed, so a few issues there, but the waitress worked very hard, and it wasn't her fault, obviously. I would try it again.

Not regular bar food here. The salad was fresh and way mire than just greens. Patty melt and onion rings were perfectly done. Service was disappointingly slow but allowed time to watch the baseball game with a lively crowd.

It's a shame... the mozzarella sticks where very over cooked, the salad wasn't bad, and slow service. But the worst part is of all the TVs they showed the same NFL game on 5 TV's, the rest had one with women basketball game and the others had on Info- commercials with "highlights" of the other NFL games.. I could of stayed home and watch highlights.

The food here is of very good quality and proportion, and service is friendly. The sports atmosphere is spot on.

I love this place for a few reasons. First....there are portable speakers you can take to your table, and tune into one of about 30 TV's around the bar area to hear whatever FOOTBALL game you are watching. Each TV has a number, just tune in the TV number on the speaker....POOF! The service was amazing!! Really , the servers bust their butts. Tip them well please. They have a nice selection of draft and bottled beer, and a pretty decent variety of food. Our jalapeño poppers were FRESH and perfectly spiced. The burger my friend got was so juicy and well flavored...it was excellent. The chicken sliders were tasty as well, and came with AMPLE fries! The amount of food you get is outrageous! Fries and tater tots for days!! lol. One negative. Non smokers have to walk THROUGH the smoking area to get into the bar. It reeks (to non smokers).....so perhaps a separate area away from....the DOOR? I am so glad this place has Sunday NFL ticket, and has so many TV's. Certainly will be back here to watch games!

Went on St. Patrick's Day...Hardly anyone there- Good service and decent food. Being a bar, I would have thought they would do a bit more "wearin' o' the green"!

Just had drinks here, but bartender was super friendly. Loved the atmosphere. Seemed very clean. Fun games to play outside also.

Great food, great service and great people. One of those neighborhood bars that are scarce these days.

Good food and drinks, with a big spacious bar to walk around, TVs everywhere, sports memorabilia. Friendly servers and Bartenders as well as the patrons some of the patrons bought rounds of shots for people. The bartenders Jonah and Jules both made me shots Jonah made a fruit loop with a sugar rim and Jules bad a peach whiskey drink both were above the standard in flavor and taste would highly recommend if looking to expand ones pallet for different drinks and flavors.

The pastrami sandwich is quite good....the service is excellent! Pleasant environment.

We stopped in this evening after a long day of driving. Great place! Food was perfect. We shared the safety (Buffalo hot) and 5-alarm (hottest) wings served with coleslaw and fries. They were out of boneless but gave us tenders dipped in wing sauce. Extremely flexible to offer tenders when they had no boneless. Gyro with cottage cheese was great too! Covid protocols were followed and waiter Jonah was super attentive. We couldn't ask for a better waiter! We were so happy to find a place that allows dine in so we could enjoy NFL. Will be back tomorrow to watch the college national championship. Check this place out. It was more than we expected!

Service here is top notch. The waitresses, even when they're short handed, are on top of things. And the food is about the best that could get from a sports bar. If you're looking for a spot to watch the game or sing karaoke at night, this is a great place to go.

Came to celebrate a coworkers birthday, I've pasted this bar on many occasions & never stopped in I'm so glad she choose this spot I truly enjoyed myself! I ordered the pastrami sandwich with tater tots and it was delicious it came full of flavor including bacon yum!!! On a nicely toasted sub roll with plenty of mayo, lettuce & tomatoes. Our group sang plenty of karaoke songs by which there were tons to select from there was fun had by all! I'd recommend this bar to anyone in the mood for a good time!

Convenient spot for watching multiple games at once! They keep little mics for volume on the table so you can hear the respected game you are watching. Table setup is somewhat community style so if it's a big game expect to sit close to new Friends :) I had their wings yesterday and I felt they're average. Not sure I'll try them again but interested in the rest of the menu!

We stopped in while in a hurry to grab a bite at one of my honey's old watering holes. The place was dead as it was still just mid afternoon. After a while we wondered what was going on as we had ordered a Reuben sandwich about 25 mins earlier. Upon asking, the bartender who had been super sweet went to see what was going on. The cook herself came out and apologized profusely saying she had accidentally closed the ticket. We explained we were in a hurry but would still like it to go. She comped the meal and sent us away with two to go boxes as we had originally told the bartender we planned to share the meal. Way above & beyond what anyone would typically do in that situation AND the sandwich was hands down the best Reuben we'd ever had. Kudos to our sweet bartender & the cook (unfortunately the minute we left we forgot their names :()

This review is based on my last visit during a Saturday afternoon. This visit was better than my previous visits because of the great server we had. I've heard from friends and experienced non ideal service in previous visits. This visit our server was great. We arrived on a Saturday to watch college football. They have portable speakers so you can listen to the TV you want to hear which is a nice feature. This bar isn't a fancy bar, but they have pool tables, TVs, pretty good bar food, and an OK beer selection. Overall nice local bar that's good to watch sports at.

Has to be one of my favorite bars in Tucson. Honest to god great bar food and the service is amazing. Jonah the bartender is amazing and makes you feel like family. They have Karaoke night and some of the best pool tables in Tucson. This is an absolute must in Tucson. Great local bar and everyone is fun and respectful. Customer service is everything and this place has it. I've come here with my family, my friends and even my colleagues. Check it out. I'll be shocked if you don't fall in love with this local bar and grill.

This place is great: lots of TVs, great servers, food is good (better than average for a sports bar), and they have a popular karaoke show on Fridays and Saturdays. Newer bars these days seem to have bigger selections on their beer taps and the food could be better; it's for these reasons they don't get 5 stars, but this is my go to spot when I want to meet friends centrally for karaoke. They also have a separate room with some pool tables where you can smoke in. Just FYI.

This is a tough one. Good- food, service. Average- prices, beer selection. Bad- this place caters to smokers. You can't enter the bar without walking through a cloud of smoke. The front patio has smokers right in front of the door even though the law clearly states they need to be 25 feet away. Awful- they have a pool tourney on wednesdays. As a pool player I was happy to find a tourney while in town. That is until I arrived. The tables are basically outside. There was just a thunderstorm so the swamp coolers weren't doing it. So the tourney was help is a 90 degree, 95% humidity, smoke filled patio. Will never return.

My friends and I had fun at their karaoke night. I wished they had more song options. They're nachos were okay, nothing spectacular but bar food generally isn't. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The fellow guests were definitely enjoying themselves. I'd appreciate if they'd attract some of the younger (23+) crowd since downtown has been way too strict to consider karaoke at the nicer bars.

I love how friendly everyone is! :) Really good karaoke, pool tables, shuffleboard, drinks, foot and staff!!! One of the 1st places I went upon moving to Arizona and I still go back

Ok people this is a for sure neighborhood bar. My first time and I can't wait to come back. Bartenders are whitty and fun to converse with. I had the best tasting jello shot. Wings and fries do justice. Awesome music and lots of pool tables in a train car!!!

This is a Old Stable in Tucson always clean and always friendly service. All I know is they have really Good Spaghetti with lots of thick meat sauce and you get a yummy salad and bread for amazing price. They also have great Hamburgers and Sandwiches. I enjoy the local Bars and Cafe's. Kudos for keeping this awesome place alive and well for many years. thank you all for doing a GREAT JOB.....

If you are a patty melt fan this is your place, great big tasty burger you will not regret ordering. Good selection of beers and plenty of tvs to watch sports. Tip your servers well, they are busting their butts here for you.

WOW!!! What a great environment. I am not sure how we ended up at The Depot, but we are very impressed with the awesome service and Great Food. I hope that we can come here more often. Our server was Brittany and she was AMAZING. We had a very good time. Thanks Brittany!!

I love this place, karaoke nights are a blast and the hosts of that are fun (please tip them also because they're great). They have several pool tables, and the majority of them are in the smoking section...that's the only thing I'd change. Bars are for drinking, not for smoking. Otherwise, I have absolutely appreciated/respected this place and all of the great staff that they hire. Can't say that I've ever tried the food, but they have a good selection of standard dive bar beers and craft brews on tap, as well as liquor. I can't wait to go back and support the business when Rona season ends.

This restaurant is so amazing. We had awesome food and drinks and Brittany our server was so nice and everything was great. The atmosphere is super cool and all of the TV's make it fun to watch sports!! Totally recommend it. We will be back with more friends. Thank you Depot. And it's locally owned. A plus for us!!!

Been here a couple of times. We like it. I got hot wings, that were just ok. Hubby got a burger that he enjoyed very much. It looks sketchy outside, but, it's nice inside. We had good service. A couple of things, when you order a sandwich/burger, menu says it comes with coleslaw/cottage or chips. Hubby ordered fries...and I saw several others with the same dish. No one was given the "chips/coleslaw or cottage" that is supposed to come with the meal, which was a bit discerning. We never brought it up to the bartender--but will next time! Then, if you pay by credit card, you will be charged an extra percentage(s). They are passing on the credit card fees to you. (which by law, they can do). But, be aware, you might want to bring cash, if that's an issue for you. It's a bit odd, as a biz of that size normally never passes on the CC fees, EVER. This is a first. So, just that you know the scoop, this is a decent place.

Great place. Hole in the wall sports bar type of feel, the food and drinks never disappoint.

This is our 4th visit in 3 years. Gets better each time. We're foreigners from Phoenix and like to play Buzztime trivia. Great service and food tonight.

Staff are very good. Granted it does get busy on a Friday or Saturday. Plus is Tina is fluent in ASL. Great plus to already great team. Fish n chips special was two huge pieces of fish. Dragoon IPA on tap. All great prices! Staff take care of you.

Lot's of bar space and seating. Smoking area inside with pool tables. Cold, cold beer. Friendly waitstaff. Good eats in a laid back atmosphere.

I have been here multiple times. Getting someone to acknowledge you in a nearly empty bar is like pulling teeth! I like to support local restaurants and bars but after a few attempts of stopping for a beer and wings, I can't continue to support this place. The bartenders act busy and ignore you. The wait staff is hit or miss, sometimes good, mostly bad.

If it were all about the food, this place would rate a lot higher. I am delivering a sucker punch to the gut for service. So, this is a sports bar, right? Sports bars and Monday night football are a no-brainer, right? We showed up at a little after 6:30 during Monday night football. A transcript of ensuing dialogue: Waitress, as she hands us menus: Are you ready to order? Us: Huh? We may need some time to look at the menu. Me: Any specials? Waitress: It's happy hour until 7:00. Beers are $2.50, and $3.50. Me: IPA please Wife: Iced Tea please Drinks are delivered. Fast forward at least twenty minutes during which time we did not see our waitress. We were starting to wonder if she were fired. Waitress: Is everything OK? Me: Uh no, I would like another beer please. Is it still happy hour? Her: No, happy hour ended five minutes ago. ~Quizzical glances exchanged between wife and me.~ Me: Any other specials tonight? Her: No, everything is regular price but some stuff is cheaper than others. Me: Please just bring me a PBR. Her: We don't have that. Me: What do you have? Her: Miller, Bud, Pabst... Do I need to go on? The food was really good but they should really hire some better servers. By the way, the PBR was $1.75. Guess it goes up during happy hour.

I've been coming here for years and I've rarely been disappointed: the food is dependably good (I just had the meatloaf-it was great!), the liquor is reasonably priced & the staff is friendly and attentive. I no longer smoke, but the smoking/pool room and porch areas are the best in town (and you'll meet a whole different group of people). The location is central, you can play pool in a non-smoking area if you want, and the karaoke show is great on weekend nights. It's a sports bar with many, many TVs and they'll put on whatever you want to watch. Yeah, it's a good neighborhood bar.

First, let me say this place is a 3 1/2. Second, this place is a step up from the bars I've been to. They make their own potato chips, which are a bit too peppery, but great nonetheless. Their burgers are really good, and they aren't stacked so high you have to unhinge your jaw to eat them. Their beer selection is very nice, and their bartender is pretty good. When you ask what he has on tap, he asks what you like and can then give you a couple selections that fit that profile. The first few times I went, there was only one guy who was waiting tables in the entire place and tending bar, but still managed to do things fairly well. Usually when you're doing a lot of stuff like that, something suffers, and not just your frayed nerves. The last time I went, last week, there were a waitress and the bartender, and while the waitress seemed new, was very friendly and sweet, so she made up for the extra wait.

So we stopped in here on a Friday night after dinner to continue a birthday celebration. It was not busy at all, but I am okay with that. We were able to take over the shuffle board table and had a great time. The wait staff provided us with fresh popped popcorn (for 50 cents I believe) and they were quick and nice. After we were done with the shuffle board we headed to the pool tables. Again, good seating, tables are decent. Overall I really like this place. Its more than just a bar, we were able to play some games, talk to each other and drink at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back when looking for a place to continue the party.

I was REALLY surprised at how nice this place is! They have a pretty decent selection of beer on tap, good food (we had calamari fries and the nachos), lots of tv's and an indoor smoking patio with pool tables! What more could you ask for? As some of the other reviews noted, the bartenders are not the friendliest people on Earth, but we didn't have a problem getting our correct food/drinks in a timely manner. I will definitely come here again, it's a great place for watching some Sunday football too.
