Discovered this store last winter as a pop up in one of the malls and love their commitment to providing a variety of high end organic lines. A bit pricy but products go a long way. I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful. Picked up their hair products, cleanser and love it! Added a few skin products, love them! Keep in mind that a little takes you a long way.

I was kindly greeted with smiles upon entering. The store was refreshing, organized and had a great selection of natural beauty products. However, aside all that, customer service was lacking. I spent about 20 minutes looking at their foundation selection and no one bothered to offer me help. I had to ask the lady at the juice bar inside the store whether she worked for Detox or not. She didn't. But she was kind enough to look for a staff member to help me. I finally got help I needed in finding the proper foundation colour. However, the brushes were not clean so we resorted to using tissue paper. The lighting was also poor around the mirror we used: upon my return home, the foundation, which looked great in store, did not match my skin tone. There is a no exchange or refund policy on open items, which is understandable, but this was a poor first impression and I will most likely not return.

Beautiful space with warm, caring staff and a large selection of high-quality products. I had an unfortunate experience with Canada Post losing a package I ordered online, and Ruth (Manager of Customer Care) was so kind to give me frequent email updates on the situation. In the end they even offered to courier the product straight to my door! I was extremely happy with their level of understanding and support. The store is really worth checking out first-hand... it has such a relaxing atmosphere and smells AMAZING. Great place for gifts, too!

Absolutely fabulous! Great service! Awesome and knowledgeable staff. I've switched all my skin care and cosmetics to organic and toxic/chemical free products. Some of my fav products are Vapour Organic Beauty Foundation, Ilia lipsticks and 100% Pure Fruit pigmented Mascara😊 Changing it up one product at a time.

This is the only place in Toronto I buy my products. The space is beautiful and the products are great. HOWEVER the staff are terrible. I went in last Friday afternoon to pick up more foundation with a gift card and they told me to come back another time because they were sold out of the brand I usually get. That's fine I was willing to try another brand but they just kept trying to get me out of the store. It was 2pm and I paid for 15min of parking. I just wanted a foundation and I didn't want to drive back another day. I can't really explain how rude 2 of the women were. I ended up picking out a foundation and buying it but they seemed annoyed during the entire transaction? Ugh. I get it, working in retail is annoying but seriously this was next level. I will just order online from now on.

I have bought quite a few things here - products are great and prices are okay. Service on the other hand is poor as it always feels like they think they are better than you. You work in a beauty industry with products that the masses are not familiar of. Learn to treat people with respect and educate the public versus act as if you are better than them and that they are not worth your time.

They carry a wide variety of "green" beauty, which is fantastic. Do mind that these are a bit pricey. The staff was very nice and friendly and ready to help. However I have a feeling like they don't know all the products very well. It's understandable that but sometimes I do want honest recommendations.

As someone who's been using green Beauty for about a decade now, this is one of my favorite, favorite places in the city to shop! The detox Market carries a wide range of skin care and non-toxic makeup items. This location also has a Juice Shop in the front and seasonal snacks and health items. Their brands selection varies from mid-range to high-end, and the staff are super helpful always. At the time of writing this review, they carry May Lindstrom, Tata Harper, Odacite, Indie Lee, OSEA, some 100% Pure makeup, One Love organics, Josh Rosebrook, Kypris, Coola, Ilia, RMS and so much more!
