Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Has Alcohol at Every Sit-Down Restaurant | Eater

"A Frontierland dinner buffet that has started serving wine and beer, expanding on the park’s increasing availability of alcoholic beverages at full-service restaurants." - Whitney Filloon

The servers were very nice, but the initial service was slow. We waited, probably 10 minutes for drink orders. Once we were seen, the food arrived pretty quickly, and they were able to accommodate my wife's special diet. The food was good, especially the pot roast. They serve alcohol at this venue. I wish they still had the live show, or at least the player piano actually worked. Overall, it's good, but I don't think it meets the level of expectation.

One of our favorite family style full service food options at Magic Kingdom park! Great also for special holidays like 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day dinner. All you can eat style roast and mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, etc. Cool colonial style theatre and plenty of open seating for great views. Bonus: the dessert here (all good shared with Liberty Tree Tavern) is BEST dessert on Disney property: warm chocolate chip cookie topped with heath bar and vanilla ice cream. So good! :)

This is probably the best value for money for lunch. All-you-eat family style meal. The bread is okay but the entree was great. The Pot Roast, Turkey and Pork were all cooked well. Stuffing and mashed potatoes were spot on. It’s nice to get away from burgers, chicken tenders and fries! The Toffee Cake was amazing and the start of the meal! Service was super friendly and accommodating. Offering refills of food. The only reason I give Atmosphere a 3 Star is because you can tell it used to be much better when there was live performances (instead of an automated piano) and if they sat people upstairs. Overall good value for Disney. Pack in the food for lunch and all you will need is a light dinner from quick service window.

Wonderful place with great food! As a vegetarian, I appreciated their delicious options. The service is exceptionally friendly and kind. I highly recommend reserving a table in advance to save time. @ksyfate

Google
We love Disney but this was not one of our favorite eating places the food was just OK. The stuffing really did not taste like good stuffing. The pot roast was not good either it was more like shredded beef instead of like a traditional pot roast. The rest of the food was OK but not for the price. Once they bring the food out unless you eat really fast, the food gets cold on the table. It would be much better if they just had the food served as a buffet so that you could go back and forth at your leisure the service was good, but it just could not make up for the taste of the food and the food being cold once you stop eating, the rolls were good and the salad was good unfortunately this would be our first and last time at the diamond unless they change the format.

Google
For the price to dine in (100 with tip for 2 people ) the food is not worth it to be honest. However the atmosphere was great and service was great. You definitely go in for the experience not the food.

If you're looking for the best value of all you care to enjoy dining within Magic Kingdom, this is it. It's a family style meal and the food is all pretty good and the service is fantastic. Keep in mind the Liberty Tree Tavern next door serves the same menu so either is a good option.

I have to say they took very good care of me here and the food was delicious the pot roast was my favorite and I loved everything but that pot roast was divine

Yelp
The Diamond Horseshoe - they could never make me hate you One of my favorite table service meals in all of WDW as a CM of 2 years! I prefer Diamond Horseshoe over Liberty Tree Tavern. The food is the same but Diamond Horseshoe feels less cramped and is usually not as busy. Favs: - The salad!! Dressing is so refreshing and the cheese and dried cranberries are a nice touch. My party of 4 went through three bowls of it. - Mashed potatoes: some of the best on property imo - Mac n cheese: add the roast beef to it. You're welcome ;) I don't eat pork so I can't comment on that but you get so much food with the meal that one bad thing isn't enough to deter me. Dessert is yummy but pretty heavy after eating everything else. Do not sleep on this place!

Yelp
First of all I just have to say that anyone giving this a worse rating than the liberty tree they are literally the same thing. You just have to make reservations for liberty tree. To start off it took awhile for our server to stop by, but considering there were 2 for the restaurant, it can be overlooked. Server apologized immensely for his tardiness, but it was no big deal. We were starving and ready for food. Rolls came out first which we didn't touch. As soon as everything else came out we went ham on it. Exclaimer: if you are planning on a low sodium meal now is your time to leave. All of the proteins with exception of the pork were great. Turkey was moist, the roast was a bit salty but packed with flavor. The green beans and turkey we had seconds of. All in all we were ready to leave after the main course and skip dessert. The server pleased us to at least stay and have one serving of the dessert. We agreed. One of the best treats we have had in the park. Going from stuffed to smashing the dessert was no problem. Everything was great as well as our server. Sorry I don't remember his name. To top it all off $44 for all you can eat Thanksgiving type dinner. So if you can't get into the Liberty Tree walk next door. It's the same thing except with a piano that plays itself!

Yelp
We ended up at the Diamond Horseshoe by chance -- we were hangry and it was the only sit-down restaurant that had a walk-up of less than ten minutes. I came in expecting the worse, but surprisingly, it was one of our most memorable meals at all of Disney! The lunch is served family style and consists of a Thanksgiving style meal of salad, roasted turkey, roasted pork, pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, mac and cheese, and a skillet toffee cake. We were not expecting to eat a full holiday meal in the middle of our Disney vacation but since it is my familys' favorite holiday we were ecstatic. My children had seconds and thirds of the pot roast and the adults raved over the turkey, salad, and green beans. Honestly everything we had was delicious (except the roasted pork). Warning, you may want to take a nap afterwards but we powered through. Our server was absolutely wonderful and conscientious about allergies. She even gave us a big cup of to-go ice so we can fill up our water bottles before hitting the madness of the parks again. A few things to note: - I recommend a late lunch which allows you to beat the heat and rest up during one of the hottest/busiest parts of the day. This is one of the quieter restaurants at Disney which is great for giving yourself a moment of peace. - Our late lunch happened to coincide with the parade which allowed us to have prime covered porch access to view the festivities.

Yelp
It's kind of interesting how I've seen so many polarizing reviews of this place. Also if you really want to know how interesting this place gets - you'll notice if you eat here for lunch, it is 100% guaranteed to be one of the few places that won't be packed in Magic Kingdom. I ate here 3 times in one week (due to a discount we had) and never once was this place more than I'd say 25-50% full during the peak of lunch hours. The reason why is this AYCE setup is pretty pricey as the cost is the same for lunch and dinner and I can understand why nobody would want to pay dinner prices for what is seemingly plain old boring American Thanksgiving style comfort food. Who wants to pay all that during lunch for AYCE turkey, pork loin, pot roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, Mac & cheese, salad and dessert? Well luckily for us we didn't have to deal with the crowds for this b/c the food was pretty damn good. The turkey was perfect as were all of the other protein choices I mentioned. The stuffing here is addictive and to die for, especially when soaked in their crazy good turkey gravy. And I mean, the green beans (French beans to be exact) are also super addictive. If you don't nosh on this constantly, you're missing out. Plus the salad is amazing, and the dressing they use is soooooooooo good. It's amazing that I even made it to dessert which is their deranged good Toffee Cake. It's basically a giant hot fudge sundae mixed with a chocolate chip cookie and toffee candy. It's probably 5000 calories or something but I don't care - it's criminal not to enjoy this dessert at its fullest b/c it's beyond yummy and decadent. The service here is also nice and here's another bonus - the A/C in here is super nice and cold b/c it's never crowded, so if you do come in for lunch on a hot day, you will be one happy camper. A+++++++ for the awesome food and terrific experience in each of the 3 times I was here all week.

Yelp
It was my first time trying out the diamond horseshoe after almost 2 decades of coming to Disney World. I had heard great things about it so I couldn't wait! The atmosphere was truly immersive, but unfortunately that ended up being my favorite part of the experience. Frontierland is my favorite land in Magic Kingdom, and the atmosphere inside does a superb job of capturing an old western saloon vibe. So I was already excited as soon as we sat down! You definitely cannot beat the price here, but unfortunately, the food is very average if not below average. The full spread includes salad and bread, turkey, brisket, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, cranberry sauce, and the dessert. All of the food tasted like it was right out of a bag. There was no genuine preparedness to anything. The stuffing was clearly instant stuffing, the mashed potatoes tasted like what you would get in your high school cafeteria... I'm not trying to be harsh or exaggerating, they taste spot on what I used to eat in high school haha! The mac & cheese desperately needed salt and pepper. Actually, most of the stuff was under seasoned, if not seasoned at all. The turkey was dry, the green beans were green beans-- Which I have noticed, if you want any kind of green vegetable in a quick service or restaurant buffet style, Disney is always going to serve you green beans. Probably because it's the cheapest out of all the green veggies, but I would much prefer if they shelled out some extra money for broccoli or asparagus. Dessert was all right if you have a big sweet tooth. Which I do, however, this stuff I could tell just by taking one or two bites that it would be an instant stomach ache. It was a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream so I just picked at it a little bit. My friend pretty much ate the rest haha. I just don't know how to really describe what you're getting here besides, it's extremely mediocre. Like you could go spend six dollars on the eggrolls in Adventureland and have a better tasting snack than that entire meal. I absolutely love Disney, but in this economy, you definitely want to be smarter with how you're spending your money. Or you could be a family that saved up for this Disney trip and don't care what kind of meal you spend your money on haha. Just depends on who you are! I know for my sake, I have to be choosy with where I spend my money and it's upsetting when you pay for something that isn't very good at all. So overall, it's a bummer to have the perfect set up and ambience for a great dinner, and the food is just basic cafeteria food. I imagine Disney continues to serve this kind of food because no matter what people are going to go there and eat it regardless. But hopefully if more reviews come out, they'll take the time to redo the menu with some fresher, more quality ingredients.

Yelp
The pork was a little dry but the rest of the food was on point. I actually absolutely loved the pot roast. The salad could use more dressing. Service amazing as always. It's family style and they bring as much as you want. I prefer the one next door it's more private and nice atmosphere.

Yelp
This was my first time eating here.. this type of family style/communal plate sharing was a new concept at that time. I found it to be beneficial as less food was wasted. The servers in this type of environment seemed to be less taxed by the number of trips made for refills or additional items. The food was quite tasty -- similar to a thanksgiving meal. The service was quick, but I think this is because of the limited menu choices.

Yelp
Christmas dinner here in Magic Kingdom was awesome! We had the best seat in the house and our server was fantastic. My only star deduction was the food was pretty salty but part of that might be me knit picking and part of it could be I just didnt drink enough water. This is an all you can enjoy experience and they will keep bringing you whatever you ask. Make sure to book your dining reservation asap when you can in the Disney app to get a spot. There are no walk ins!

Yelp
Ate here in Magic Kingdom with a large group. Our server was kind and especially helpful. I was able to eat bread, stuffing, Mac and cheese, as well as string beans, salad, matched potatoes and other non gluten items (I'm celiac). For dessert I had an apple cake and ice cream. The apple cake was just okay but the rest was delicious. After a long day, to sit and enjoy Thanksgiving food with friends was quite cup filling. Disney does a great job with allergies and this was no exception.

Ecindy H.

Yelp
Very salty vegetables, very dry meats and bread. Bitter chunks of the lettuce core in the salad. Server laughed when I said it was horrible.

Yelp
After years of going to WDW we finally stopped in at the diamond horseshoe. It was a pricey but overall we enjoyed it. Our party felt like we had been served more than enough food during our visit; the food was really good also. Our waiter was attentive and kept checking on us. The entire ascetic of the room was fun and lively.

Yelp
Delicious family style comfort food, just what I need after a long day trekking through the jungle of Magic Kingdom. Everything was fresh and delicious!

Yelp
While visiting disneyworld my husband and I had reservations at this amazing establishment! We were immediately greeted and seated ! The meal was buffet home style alittle of this and alittle of that and it was all soooooooo good ! Oh my god great, best home style buffet ever! Our waiter was amazing , the restaurant was immaculate and the prices were totally reasonable ! I highly recommend this amazing establishment!

Yelp
It was wonderful to be able to eat the food from Liberty Tree Tavern and be able to find a seat. It was not busy at all and we were able to walk up and get a table right away.

Yelp
This was my first time walking into the diamond horseshoe and I truly feel this would probably be better as a quick service location. The seater was super kind and sat us quickly and our server was nice and informed us they were short staffed so things may take a little longer. The restaurant was pretty empty when we got there and the random self playing piano on stage did work. It lacked real decor besides that, the theming is very lack luster. The food was not great. I asked for the vegetarian (impossible) meatloaf but told the server I eat everything else including listing out dairy products so he wouldn't have to swap anything else for me. He brought out the vegetarian mashed potatoes and meatloaf and unfortunately they were both just very bland and overall not good so I did not eat them. The bread was tasty as well as the garlic string beans. The last thing I enjoyed the most was truly the cookie/ice cream dessert. Everything else including the normal mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and salad we pretty bland and not worth the price you pay. If you're going to give quick service quality meals... the price should match. Would not be in a rush to go back or go back at all for that matter.

Yelp
I wanted to eat at liberty tree tavern but it was booked so we joined the waitlist for the diamond horseshoe and I'm so glad we did! My husband and I thought everything was delicious and we left absolutely stuffed but it was worth it! The bread starter was fluffy and garlicky, the salad could have used more dressing but was still good, the meats were all very flavorful and tender and all the sides were amazing! The dessert was also so delicious! Our server was awesome and very attentive and the inside is very old timey and cute. Would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Yelp
A little pricey, but far superior to the usual theme park slop that is shoveled out to tourists. Family style dining. Everything is really good. Food cooked well and flavorful. Salad had a really nice dressing. Our server, Jeffrey B, was warm and genuinely friendly. He checked on us the perfect amount so we didn't feel either neglected or smothered The facility itself is set up like an old time high end western saloon which was an awesome setting to enjoy our meal
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly, at first sight, this appears to be a no-name restaurant in the middle of the frontier area at Magic Kingdom. The interior is small and looks like an old-timey western saloon with a piano at the front on centerstage. However, after sitting down to eat and meeting the staff it's evident that this is a hidden gem. This restaurant is an all-you-can-eat place that serves food family-style. The food is all good. I'm not sure if they change out their menu based on the season or what but ours was delicious. They start you out with delicious hot rolls and salad. The main course is shredded roast and turkey breast with gravy, carrots, corn, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and beans (very tasty). Then for dessert, our server brought us three caramel drizzled thick chocolate cookies topped with large mounds of ice cream. All the food was extremely delicious. Honestly, none of it was void of taste. The service was excellent, fast, and efficient. Our drinks were never empty, and neither were our plates. Now, the bad news. It's Disney, so you're going to pay handsomely for something like this. For a family of five to enjoy lunch we paid, with a tip, $224. However, you will neither be disappointed nor left feeling anything other than stuffed. Trust me, there are a lot of places to eat in this park, but this is a little hidden gem that is worth it. If you can, get a reservation here. Enjoy!

Yelp
Wow! This place is an undervalued gem at the Magic Kingdom. My drink was spot-on! The food was well seasoned and comforting. I was full afterwards! Although I did not like the gravy I tasted. It was an unnecessary over-salted add on, which I didn't use on any food item. The cranberry sauce is far superior to the gravy! Thank you to the servers at Diamond Horseshoe for going above and beyond to make my experience here memorable. Keep this place going strong!

Yelp
Let me first say I chose the plant based option and it was one of my favorite meals out of any park in Disney, HOWEVER, we sat at our table for no less than 20 mins before we were told they had not assigned a server to our table! they then proceeded to blame one another. Neither the plant based or regular dessert was any good and they were both cold. This, and a forced 18% tip, would be cause enough for my 2 stars, but I was also incredibly shocked at how wasteful this rest is! I couldn't even finish one plate of food and they wouldn't let me take my leftovers! It's not like I asked for refills and then tried to take it all with me. I didn't even finish my original plate. So wasteful I couldn't believe it. We will not be returning.
google avatar

Aurora N.

Yelp
Wow I didn't know they had buffets in Disney! We were looking for last minute reservations nearby and they had an opening so we decided to give it a try, and glad we did!! We left so full I was almost uncomfortable (luckily we walked it off quickly!) The dinner was similar to a Thanksgiving feast- salad, stuffing, rolls, turkey, and desert. And everything was really delicious! Actual food and not just a quick and cheap meal. Our waiter was phenomenal- very friendly and quick service. Also nice to sit in some AC and rest for a bit. I'm so glad we decided to eat here would definitely eat here again if I ever return to Disneyworld!

Yelp
I don't understand all the negative reviews, I for one thinks it's a phenomenal place with amazing BBQ food for a sit down restaurant at The Magic Kingdom at disneyworld! We had a reservation but were quickly seated when we checked in a little early! We got a two seat table near the back and it was very nice! Our waitress took a little time to come over and during the meal she only showed up a couple times so that's the reason for one star knocked off. I opted for the buffet spread that is delivered to the table, so you don't need to get up! It came with chicken, pulled pork, corn, so much! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy that I could've eaten about ten pounds of it because of how amazing it was! The pulled pork was perfectly sauced and not tough at all either! The dessert was good but I wasn't crazy for it! It was a smores type dessert and was pretty good but very rich and sweet. Prices are decent and I would definitely go back again and get the buffet spread for sure!

Yelp
First reservation we ever made on Disney property. We waited 2 hours past our reservation time to be sat. We weren't served drinks for 20 minutes. The food was great, but we only had one choice of an all you can eat thanksgiving style meal (the website gave different options for food choices but that isn't up to date apparently) which we didn't really want for lunch in the middle of December. Also BE AWARE that when you make a reservation they put a $100 hold on your card (incase you cancel your reservation) that can take 7 days to fall off before it is deposited back into your bank account. That $100 is in addition to whatever amount you spend on your meal.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and let me just say I was quite impressed! It's quite small inside but it is stunning. There's a self playing piano showcased on the stage in the back of the restaurant. Pretty cool to hear! We had a reservation so we were seated fairly quick. After ordering, a complimentary bowl of salad and corn bread was brought out to start us off. This was nice as we were told if we wanted more of either those things we could just ask. However, we didn't want to stuff ourselves before we tried the Saloon Feast! The All You Can Eat Saloon Feast is a great deal if you come in here hungry! At $38 per person (may be a bit pricey if you're not one to eat so much in one sitting) comes with pulled pork, beef brisket, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, sausages, mac and cheese and baked beans! It doesn't stop there- after you have the main course it also comes with a dessert, a smoked chocolate cake with graham crack butter cream and toasted marshmallow. Yum! If you're also looking for some wine or a nice beer there's quite the selection to choose from at affordable prices. I'd definitely come back here again but maybe I'd like to try one of their other dishes, such as their pulled pork sandwich! It was great experience!

Yelp
Ok, this place is a hidden gem among the restaurants at the Magic Kingdom! The Diamond Horseshoe is a family-style restaurant with set prices for adults and kids (check the website for pricing). If you are not sure what family style is, basically all of the food comes out on large plates that you then serve yourself with. The thing that makes this place special at the mouse house is that if you finish the serving of something they bring out, you can request more! And ohh is it delicious. What do you get? Start off with a bowl of salad with house made dressing. The main course includes mashed potatoes, green beans, herb stuffing, house made macaroni and cheese, Pennsylvania pot roast, roast pork, and roast turkey. It is all delicious! Soda, coffee, and tea are included. Then you finish up with a gooey toffee cake topped with ice cream and toffee chunks. So yummy!!! As for service, REQUEST AL! I'm sure all of the servers are amazing. Al was our guy and he took very good care of us. Just make sure you take care of tour server when you tip them. ALSO!!! If you can, request one of the elevated tables in the corner. That is where we sat and it was a great little perch to people watch and feel special. If you are looking for a delicious home-cooked meal, this is your place. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We have dined here in the past when in the dining plan this was a quick service meal. I had a horrendous experience back then and written them off all together! (It was a hot mess when we went for quick service). My husband oicked this place for one of our Table Service Dinners and ofcourse I was so crabby about coming here. I am so glad we ate here! This buffet is a family-style dinner where the server brings you your meal but they can always bring you more if you wish. Our server was Kit and hopefully you are lucky enough to have him as your server. He had the most positive attitude and disposition out of everyone we encountered at the park during our particular visit. While eating here we were happy to see the restaurant had joined the paper straw revolution, and though you cannot take leftovers with you he informed us at food waste is actually used for bio diesel to help the buses run. The food was delicious and abundant. The inky thing I wouldve changed is the butter. It was too hard so it would make the jalapeno cornbread easily deintegrate and hard to eat. If you make it to desert those were delicious too but you can always opt out of any in the trio that comes out.

Yelp
The Diamond Horseshoe was the only restaurant left available for reservation on the Disney app, so we gave them a shot. It's a buffet style dinner, but we had enough to eat without getting any seconds of anything. The green beans were a bit on the crunch side, but overall, can't complain and left us satisfied and ready to go back to the park.

Yelp
In October of 2021, they had an all you can eat food brought to your table. Still amazing food but no show. Food was hot and quick. I would definitely go back.
google avatar

Jared D.

Yelp
If you're at Magic Kingdom there are worse meals. This is the same exact food as Liberty Tree tavern but in a different setting. All you can eat diced menu and price. Nothing fancy.
google avatar

Marleena C.

Yelp
This place was ok. The service was definitely phenomenal, the Christmas decor lovely and the drinks were good but the food was just meh. I opted for the veggie stuffed peppers which featured the ingredients in the impossible burger. It came with two sides. First off, they do not mess around with the portions! Everything we had was a huge serving that we could not finish. Plus side is they took us in fairly quickly on a very busy afternoon! However the taste of the food (besides the mashed potatoes) was not that good. I guess I would come back in a pinch but it would not be my first choice.

Yelp
It was our first time dining at The Diamond Horseshoe. My husband and I have staple places within each area of WDW that we like to visit in terms of Table Service restaurants, but we haven't quite found our "go-to" place in Magic Kingdom. Upon recommendation from a family member, we decided to give The Diamond Horseshoe a try. For any DisNerds who frequently travel the U.S. parks, we booked with the expectation of this restaurant being comparable to our dearly departed Big Thunder Ranch in Disneyland. It definitely was the same with respect to being served all-you-care-to-eat, family style, BBQ. However, they missed the mark on some staple items we were hoping for. At any rate, this is not a comparison post of the two restaurants. The food at The Diamond Horseshoe was definitely above average compared to other places within the Magic Kingdom. Every meal has a nonalcoholic beverage included and starts off with a salad and their jalapeño cornbread to share. Nothing too memorable about the salad other than it made me feel not as guilty to fully indulge in meat-feast 2019. The jalapeño cornbread, however, might have stolen the show. The pairing with the chipotle, honey butter was heavenly. I honestly could have just carb-loaded on it for the whole meal, but restrained myself to see what else The Diamond Horseshoe had to offer. The next course was the main one with a platter of varied meats inclusive of pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken breast, and sausages. Our personal favorites were the brisket and chicken. Both extremely tender and tasty. The BBQ sauce provided on the side complemented both meats very well. My husband ended up asking for plate after plate of extra brisket! Helpful note is that you can ask for specific items in your refills instead of receiving another mixed platter. Eat all you want/can! This course also came with some standard side dishes of mashed potatoes, baked beans, and mac-and-cheese. Also, nothing too memorable about the side dishes, but definitely tasty and satisfied our park fatigue and hunger from walking all day. The grand finale of dinner was the Smores Chocolate Cake (also included in the meal) to share at the table. We were pretty stuffed at this point but ate a little for the palette cleanser of getting something sweet in. It was good, but we couldn't eat too much of it as it was extremely rich! (I nibbled on the cornbread as my dessert instead.) Service was attentive and frequent check ins were made throughout our meal. We received all refills quickly. The three-star review is mainly attributed to the environment/ambiance of the restaurant, while slightly being influenced with the above average food. I know this isn't a comparison review, but its hard not to let the ambiance of The Golden Horseshoe in Disneyland impact my view of its East Coast counterpart. The space did not live up to the Disney detail they could have put in to the establishment. The use of the stage was forced having a self-playing piano that would have music play intermittently and I thought it was odd having the Cast Members on the side, fully visible handling and plating the food. It gave me the vibe of a western-style cafeteria. Pricing was fair for Disney standards. We probably would still visit The Diamond Horseshoe again and give them another try in the future.

Yelp
Take this review as a placeholder. At the time of writing this is over glow for the Liberty Tree Tavern. It is an well themed and beautifully decorated location but I am not sure their normal menu and activities

Yelp
I had dinner here last week while visiting the Magic Kingdom. I failed to secure reservations but they were nice enough to tell me to return at 7 p.m. (their closing time) and they would seat me then. I came back at 7 and they did. Here, there is a set menu for dinner that costs $35 including drink (see pic). The interior reminds me of an old west saloon showroom/dining hall with a stage that had a player piano for entertainment. My waiter was prompt with bringing the drink and bread first. I took pics of all of the foods. First was a good salad. It was then followed with the entrée consisting of several meats and vegetables on a platter. My favorite meat was the braised beef (4). It was very good in taste and tender. The pulled pork was ok and I liked the turkey and sausage the least. To be fair, I usually don't like sausage and the turkey was sliced rounds that appeared to be processed. I liked the baked beans but thought the mac n cheese was a little dry. For dessert a campfire brownie appeared and I liked it. It was large and plenty for two. The meal was a lot of food so you won't leave hungry if you finish it all. However the taste was a 3 or less except for the braised beef, salad and beans which were better. I think most of the food here in the Magic Kingdom is a 3 which means A-OK but this restaurant would not make it in the outside world unless it reduced the price of this meal to $20. All food here is high in cost, I just wish it was better. If you have the money to spend, you will get a decent meal here. My table service was good.

Yelp
If you're hungry and want some instant food, this place is great, albeit pricey. It's $35 a person, but it includes everything. It's all-you-can-eat table service, sit-down location in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. You can make advance reservations, or if they have availability you can walk in and wait to be seated. They circle the tables to ensure that seatings happen around the same time, so that food can be served up all at the same time. Food includes a salad started, cornbread, sausage, pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese and a brownie for dessert. It also includes soda, tea or coffee. If you want a specialty drink, it's a few dollars extra. The food was mostly okay. The salad was fresh, the cornbread and sausage were our favorites of the meal, the mac and cheese was bland honestly, and the pulled pork / brisket was just okay. Considering the price point it wasn't bad, but not necessarily good either. It's great that food is served up instantly, you don't have to worry about picking an item off the menu, and you can request more of any items you enjoyed. Overall: B- Instant food is great, but considering price point and only half is good, you may wanna look elsewhere.

Yelp
We were wanting a sit down, get off our feet, you serve me kind of place and wanted to try a new place in Disney world. This one had a spot open. Was it good? Sure. Was it great? Sure. Would We go back? Probably not. Nothing really blew us away. Everything was average and for a family of four for over $180.00 for dinner. It should be awesome in my book. I did like the sweet potato mash, beans and the chicken. My fav was the jalapeño corn bread and the butter. The desserts. Were subpar. Come disney. You are known for desserts! Service was lacking which again for Disney was shocking The entertainment blew! The piano didn't play once the whole time we were there.

Yelp
I was not really sure what to expect here. I do not eat meat so although my friends were excited about their meal, I was less so. It's a family style Western place where they just bring out plates & bowls to the table. They had steamed vegetables provided but they were in the middle of a giant plate stacked full of every kind of meat you could ever, or in my case, never want. The cornbread provided was disappointingly cold, but it did come with some kind of buttery creamy stuff that I was told was very good. Also we had mashed potatoes that were good. My friends asked the waitress if there were any other options for me and she brought out a bowl of green beans and a stuffed bell pepper that I had to double check was not actual meat. It was ok but I was impressed to see that there was an option. I would potentially return.

Yelp
I was torn about coming to this restaurant because the reviews were very mixed. I was very concerned when I first arrived because we waited 30 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations. Not to mention when we were finally seated by Allen, he took us to a table for 6 instead of my party of 10, then he refused to simply add extra chairs and insisted that we needed to wait even longer till something else was available. I immediately called for management because I could not believe he wasn't accommodating us. The manager came and did exactly what Allen said we couldn't do, add extra chairs. Thank you management! Luckily Claire swooped in and our experience made a 360 degree turn. We loved this restaurant because of HER, and only because of her. The food was delicious, but her personality, her attentiveness and caring nature is what will make us come back. We went with the all you can eat barbecue , it was nothing short of delicious! The cornbread and the dessert are so good, you wanna eat it till you throw up, literally. The atmosphere is like a real nice saloon, really authentic. I'd give it a solid 4 stars. My party of 10 (3 of them were infants) ate for $300. For all you can eat, I don't think that was bad at all.

Yelp
Beware of the fine print! COULD SOMEONE PLEASE POST A New (2022/2023) PHOTO OF THE LUNCH TIME MENU? There are beverages listed at the top of the menu, that appear to be, and we're represented by the server, as being part of the all you care to eat menu. The light is so low, and the print on the price on the menu is so fine, that we completely missed the nine dollar charge per beverage. Surprise when the bill comes! The print on the bill is much larger, and much darker, and easier to see. Overall, the food was very tasty. However, it is difficult to feel like this is a place I would desire to visit again.

Yelp
Diamond Horseshoe is located inside the Magic Kingdom at the edge of Frontierland near LibertySquare. The restaurant is currently open daily from 1pm to 7pm for lunch and dinner. Lunch has a la carte items while dinner is all you can eat. We made ADR for 1:05 and arrived at 1pm to check in. The restaurant is bigger than the Plaza, but generally pretty small. I like the atmosphere though. It has an Old West vibe, a self playing piano and was nice and cool on a very hot day. We were promptly seating at nice private table up a couple stairs near the piano. Our server, Sandy, promptly greeted us and took our drink orders. We had a glass of sangria and a watermelon slushy. The watermelon slushy was a bit on the watery side and the lemonade was much more prominent than the watermelon. The sangria was delicious. There were strong hints of cinnamon, but for $9.50 it was a very tiny glass. For lunch I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which comes with mac n cheese and crispy onions on it. I asked that the mac n cheese be placed on the side instead of on top of my sandwich and our server was super accommodating. The sandwich comes with 3 corn fritters and a side. I wasn't super excited about the other sides so I got more mac n cheese. Don't judge me. I love mac n cheese. My favorite part of the meal was the corn fritters. They have a hint of spice to them and were just delicious. I liked the bbq, but it could've been a bit warmer. I didn't care for the bun. It was too soft and I just felt overwhelmed with bread, so I didn't eat much of the bun. The macaroni tasted pretty good, but was way too cold. My husband ordered the brisket platter with beans and corn. Again, he wasn't super excited about the sides. This is about the only place that doesn't have french fries. He actually really liked the beans, but vegetarians beware they were loaded with bacon! The corn was surprisingly good. It was almost like Mexican street corn. The brisket was good, but not amazing. The cornbread was disappointing for me, but my husband enjoyed it. It was a jalapeno cornbread. I would have preferred a more traditional cornbread. Finally, the portions were large. We were both stuffed and I left plenty of food on my plate. I love to go boxes, but it just isn't practical to take stuff to go when you are in the MK and it is a sweltering hot day, so some food sadly went to waste. Overall, the food was good, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was nice and our server, Sandy, was awesome and very attentive, but it was overpriced, even by Disney standards.

Yelp
My husband and I forgot to book reservations in advance for Disney. Thankfully this place had a reservation open up shortly before 8, giving us enough time to eat before the fireworks. Food is served family style and it was so amazing!!! Highly recommend. Definitely a hidden gem in Disney

Yelp
Joined the waitlist for 7 guests, after waiting for an hour, we received a texted our table was ready. When we went to check in the cast member at the entrance rudely said the reservation was for 5 guests only, and that it couldn't have been 7 because there system only allows 5 because of the table seating. The pic shown clearly shows a party of 8, and it ruined our evening because we had to waste time going somewhere else. I feel the cast member should have been more accommodating and friendlier because guests that come here to these parks spend thousands of dollars for a memorable experience.

Yelp
The Diamond Horseshoe is located in Frontierland inside Disney's Magic Kingdom park. It is an all you care to eat western themed meal served family style - where I try to eat at least once on each trip to Disney. It starts off with their Frontier Salad which consists of Tossed Greens, Tomatoes, Onions, Roasted Corn, and Cornbread Croutons served with House-made Chipotle-Ranch Dressing. Refills are available upon request - I know this for a fact as I love this salad so much I have a hard time moving past it to the main meal. :) The Saloon Feast consists of Barbecued Pulled Pork, Carved Turkey Breast, Smoked Sausage, Braised Beef, Cowboy Beans, Seasonal Vegetables and Baked Macaroni & Cheese all served on a large platter for the table (I like everything except the Cowboy Beans). Make sure to try the Cornbread too - it is delicious. If you have any room left you can end your meal with a Campfire Brownie served in an iron skillet. This meal is pricey, but if you can time it right you can have a good breakfast and then eat here mid-afternoon to cover both lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! Family style servings and portions were huge! We even got dessert afterwards. It's expensive for a large family but what isn't at Disney.

Yelp
My family and I came here after a long day at MK, we were starving! I was hesitant because I saw the low rating, but we were pleasantly surprised. The host or manger, was amazing. He was very personable, helpful and friendly. We waited about 15 minutes and we had someone in a wheelchair in our party and he was extremely accommodating. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was great. All you can eat family style with great quality food. The meat, especially the turkey was outstanding. The salad was great as well as the green beans. An absolute favorite was the dessert, toffee sticky buns with vanilla ice cream and toffee pieces. Would go back to MK just to come here!

Yelp
Walked in the Diamond Horseshoe restaurant at Walt Disney World. We did not have reservations but they let us walk in. While the price was a steep per person. I was hot, tired and hungry. The salad was ok but the kids did not like the salad dressing. Corn bread was tasty. The meats were a hit, our two favorites were the turkey and sausage. The beef was too fatty. Our drinks were filled right away. Overall it was ok, just ok. My waiter was attentive. It was a good experience and what I would have expected at an amusement park.

Yelp
Do you have a huge appetite, a bottomless wallet, and a taste for mediocre food? If so, you'll love this place! Service is good, but food is meh.

Yelp
Food is pretty good. The mashed potatoes don't look great, but taste good. My party liked the brisket and sausage best. The sausage is more like smokies size. They will bring rolls instead of cornbread if you ask. The bbq sauce is very good. Avoid the honey butter. They are nice about making alterations - dressing on the side for example. Good, kind and quick service. And you can order adult drinks like wine and beer.

Yelp
This four star is based on an amusement park scale. The food was perfectly fine, side dishes were plentiful. The wait staff treated us well. Definitely a welcome change from a $15 hamburger, and having to sit on a planter while it's 95 degrees. It was good to sit down and relax for a bit. I don't recommend getting on Space Mountain when you leave though. Got my boys nice and full, didn't have to buy dessert later that evening!

Yelp
The service was great and the air conditioning was refreshing in June. However, the food was blander than bland. A little shake of salt and pepper would have helped the mushroom and onions immensely. There was no seasoning on it whatsoever. No herbs, no salt, no nothing... The food in the Magic Kingdom is generally worse than the other Disney parks, but this hit a new low.
