The Diamond

A good place to relax on a weeknight for a nice home baseball game without too much traffic or hassle. If they could offer better food choices and not closing some food serving areas early it could be better. But is the last year...so it's ok. It served the local team and community good for the last 30 years or so.

RIP to a Richmond legend! Less than one week to catch a game at this historic stadium. It definitely has not aged very well, but it will certainly be missed. Many good childhood memories for many Richmonders were forged on these hallowed grounds.

Going to a Richmond Flying Squirrels game at The Diamond is always a blast! It's more than just watching baseball; it's a whole experience. The energy of the crowd is contagious, and there's a real sense of community. Everyone's there to have a good time, cheer on the Squirrels, and enjoy a beautiful day or evening. The atmosphere is electric. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the excitement in the air. The music is upbeat, the mascot Nutzy is always up to something entertaining, and the fans are passionate. Whether you're a die-hard baseball fan or just looking for a fun outing, there's something for everyone. Beyond the game itself, The Diamond offers a great environment. There are plenty of food and drink options, so you can grab a bite or a refreshing beverage. Plus, they often have fun promotions and activities happening throughout the game, keeping things lively and engaging. It's the perfect place to bring friends, family, or even just yourself for a relaxing and enjoyable time. You can sit back, soak up the atmosphere, and maybe even catch a foul ball! Every game feels like a little celebration, and you always leave with a smile on your face. If you haven't been to a Flying Squirrels game yet, you're definitely missing out on a fun Richmond tradition!

Great experience. Plenty of food choices. Parking was decent. Make sure to take a credit or debit card to park. They don't take cash and it will be quite a walk to park elsewhere. This was a bit disappointing. Many don't have electronic money or banking.

Always a great place for a baseball game!!! ⚾️ 😄💕 Soo much fun and positive energy!!! And for anyone who needs it, they offer these wonderful sensory bags you can borrow to help from getting overstimulated. We just found this out recently and think it's really great. 😊💕

Went to the Do Portugal Circus, which was a great family event, very talented, wholesome, energetic, and great all around cast and very diverse. Stadium was easy to get to, lots of parking. Overall, it was a good experience.

Had an amazing time on opening night. Sold out game, but we had no issues with parking, food, or bathrooms. Some of the lines at certain vendors were really long, but it just took a couple minutes to find another vendor selling the same stuff for the price with little to no line. Of course, most of the concessions are expensive, but not nearly as bad as I anticipated. The chicken tenders were amazing. Also, some of the best fireworks I've ever seen that weren't for the 4th of July.
