Nashville Restaurants React to Downtown Weekend Protests Against Police Brutality | Eater Nashville

"I read that owner Steve Smith said he had armed security at all his downtown businesses and warned that if there is vandalism or looting at his places “they will shoot to kill,” and that warning extends to The Diner." - Delia Jo Ramsey

The Diner located in Inverness Florida is one of the best restaurants in citrus county for breakfast and lunch. A hidden gem. The food is served hot and is very delicious. You won't be disappointed!

If I could eat here everyday I would- First time visit on a Sunday morning. As busy as it was, from seat to eat was only about 15 minutes. Western Omelette, absolutely delicious. Hashbrowns, cooked perfectly, not rafted in a pond of grease, hot and crispy. Sausage egg and cheese croissant was excellent. Lightly crisp, flakey croissant, fluffy folded egg with tasty seasoned sausage and melted cheddar. Flapjacks were awesome, kids gobbled them up in 2 minutes. And the home fried taters and onions were Amazing. Hat tip to the kitchen! The entire staff was super friendly and on point. They really run this establishment well, and obviously take pride in serving their customers really good food, not an unhappy patron did I see. The Diner is well worth a detour if your in the area!

First time here but won't be the last. I wanted to try the pork tenderloin sandwich, having heard about it on Facebook. The sandwich did not disappoint. Staff were friendly. Food came out quickly.

My husband had pancakes and I had 2 scrambler eggs, home fries with onions, bacon and rye toast which was filling and delicious. Will definitely go back for breakfast and try lunch some time soon.

Great little mom n pop type diner serving breakfast and lunch until 2. Been here several times and always served hot tasty food very promptly. Just try their Egg Benedict! Eggs are perfect and i usually get the hollandaise sauce on the side to add what I want. The pancakes are lite n fluffy the size of a dinner plate! Sandwiches are hearty with plenty of toppings and meat. Servers are friendly and give awesome service! Prices are very reasonable as well. One of our favorite places to eat!

The servers at the Diner treat you like family (in a good way), serve great food with a smile and care. You can grab a seat, you will be surrounded by smiling faces all knowing great food is on the way.

Great breakfast in a cute and cozy atmosphere. Very clean, nice and attentive waitresses. Love the 50's diner decor. Plenty of seating.
