The Distillery Phuket - Home of Chalong Bay

We had an incredible afternoon at the Phuket Distillery — easily one of the highlights of our time in Thailand. We booked the lunch, tasting, and tour package, and every part of it exceeded expectations. The food was outstanding, genuinely some of the best we’ve had since arriving in Thailand. Nicki, the sommelier, was absolutely brilliant. She paired drinks with our mains that matched so perfectly it felt almost magical. Each pairing elevated the dishes in a way that made the whole meal unforgettable. The tasting itself was great fun. We especially enjoyed the seven rums, the gins, and even tried one of their vodkas. Everything was crafted with such care and character that it was impossible not to be impressed. The tour was also excellent. The team explained the distilling process clearly and with real passion, making it both interesting and easy to follow. You can tell they love what they do. For the full experience — amazing drinks, a delicious lunch, and a well-guided tour — the 5,000 baht price felt more than fair. We left slightly tipsy, very happy, and already talking about coming back. Highly recommended.

this place is a little oasis in tucked away from the busy highway of Chalong, away from the heat and noise. the distillery tour was educational and boozy! i could barely finish my servings for the tasting after the tour. i’m glad i got the lunch beforehand. i recommend the tom kha mussel soup! it has a rich and deep taste and different from any tom kha soup i’ve had before. i recommend their original pure sugarcane rum. i wished they’d share more about the farming and juicing of the sugarcane and the end to end process especially with a lens of sustainability sine they see to all be checking those boxes already. for example they hire local and except for the juniper berries source most ingredients locally.

Fantastic lunch & tour session. Extremely good value for money! We had the lunch before which was delicious and beautifully presented. The tour was really insightful and it was great to see how a small, independent rum distillery has achieved so much! We tried all the rums, gins and the vodka and had a welcome drink for the tour. Netty our tour guide and taste lead was fantastic - very cheerful and funny. We came away with bottles for ourselves and for gifts!

We went for the rum cocktail class with Nicky, the distillery tour and tastings with Ryan and then stayed for lunch. One of our best experiences in Phuket. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the venue is gorgeous. The food was fabulous too. Thanks for a great day out. Loved it!!

Hat's off to property representative LEK And our personal guide Ryan, A comfortable chill afternoon with a custom tour of the distillery, the event started off by walking into these wonderful and beautiful manicured grounds, the yard, bar and seating area were something out of a magazine, clean organized and bright. The Executive manager Lek was the first to greet us, a bubbling personality and tons of energy, she confirmed our reservation and asked us if we wanted a drink or a bite to eat, we were a 1/2 away from the tour and she ensured us that the food is quick the drinks quicker and everything would slide into place. .. my wife and I split a pesto chicken wrap and a rum fruity drink and we were in heaven... Within minutes the wrap came out, toasty on the outside chilly on the inside bursting with flavor... The drink, could not taste the run but I assure you..... It was heavy 🤟🤟🤟. After the chow and clean up our tour guide Ryan joined us... This Thai young man with GREAT ENGLISH was on point, managing a tour of 8 all of us with personalities, he knew everything about the distillery and was able to have fun with us... It was sensational, after the tour we convened back to the bar area where we did tastings.... And they poured VERY WELL... 9 tastings of Run a few of Gin and a vodka or two... Let's say....... It got ridiculous towards the end and I'm glad we ate.... Over all this is literally one of the top distillery tours on the face of this Earth... It was outstanding. Had a wonderful experience here! I really enjoyed the rum, gin, and vodka tasting — each one was unique and thoughtfully crafted. The food was absolutely delicious, and the place was very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere has such a positive, welcoming vibe, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The team was also very knowledgeable and more than happy to share insights about the alcohol-making process. Highly recommended for both the drinks and the experience! 🍸✨

My child and I met Mr. Niki and created mocktails. We made and drank as many as three cups each at a reasonable price. I'm so sad that I didn't get to drink any alchol because of driving. Please make sure to take a taxi. Niki constantly explains from the child's perspective and leads the atmosphere very pleasantly. He is the best teacher. If I come to Phuket next time, I will definitely leave my car behind, and we will never forget this experience.
