The Distillery Phuket - Home of Chalong Bay

Just visited Chalong Bay Distillery and had a great time! The place has a laid-back vibe with a cool mix of tropical charm and craft spirit culture. The tour was short but informative—you get to see how they make their rum from Thai sugarcane, which is pretty unique. The best part? The rum tasting at the end, especially the mojito made with their signature white rum—super refreshing. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Phuket and want something a little different from the usual beach stuff.

I went to a distillery tour and tasting. for 590baht you simply cannot get any better deal. The staff were friendly, kind and knowledgeable and gave a great tour. The tasting session was also incredible. I got to try all of the varieties of rum, gin and vodka they make there. The venue itself is stunning and an absolute must for a date. The food was terrific as well. Outstanding flavours coupled with exquisite presentation. Get yourself down there and get a taste of real Phuket!

The team there is incredibly welcoming and passionate about their craft. The tour was both informative and fun, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how they produce their high-quality spirits. What really stood out is that their rum is made directly from fresh Thai sugarcane – not molasses – which gives it such a clean, smooth, and distinctive flavor. The tasting session was the cherry on top! Each variety had its own unique character, and awards winning. A lot of love and care goes into every step of their process. If you’re looking to do something a little different in Phuket – something local, laid-back, and delicious – this distillery is definitely worth the stop. A great way to sip your way through some Thai craftsmanship!

Great experience. We went for the tour which comes with tasting of all their rums, gin and vodka. Was so fun and delicious and the distillery/bar was so pretty!

Lovely people and such an interesting process! We did the distillery Discovery tour and really enjoyed the tour and tasting session which was super good value, especially because you get to try a lot of drinks. We stayed for some food which was great. I would happily come here again just to chill and enjoy a meal too.

this place was great!! the place was so cute. i went there as apart of my birthday itinerary and it was well worth it. We did the mini vodka cocktail making class which included making 2 drinks, a tour, and taste testing roughly 10 rums. The drinks we made were refreshing. Teacher was also amazing! it’s a must visit !!

It was amazing!!! I have attended a rum mixing class and a distillery tour. The hosts were so friendly. The cocktails were amazing!!!! The atmosphere was good. Not crowded by the time I visited at 14:00. Would go back most definitely!

Wonderful experience with the Chalong crew. World class sprits in a tranquil space. Full of laughter and good drinks. If you find yourself traveling through Phuket make sure this is on your list to visit.
