"Located in the historic neighborhood of Springfield, The District is the perfect spot for friends to gather and enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers. There are plenty of comfortable couches and cozy nooks on the outdoor patio where groups can chat amongst themselves without feeling crowded in a small dining room. For an even more intimate night out, consider renting one of the yurts, tents, or geodesic domes for the group. The chef’s charcuterie board or vegan boards are a great way to start the party, each with a selection of house-made accompaniments." - Megan duBois

I had brick 6 in one of the yurts, which is a tent with a normal table underneath. Our server, Courtney was great and made sure we had plenty of water and got our orders out quickly. The setup is excellent for a group of 6 to 8. They have AC, alright it was cool the day I went, but there are heaters outside the yurt. The food was excellent and my bread pudding french toast was the perfect size. Everyone I was dining with enjoyed their meal. The options are somewhat limited but there is something for everyone. The live music creates a lovely atmosphere with people dancing and singing along.

This is the second time I've come here for brunch while visiting and it did not disappoint this time around. The chicken and waffles was cooked nicely and had nice flavor; the jambalaya was a tad spicy, but delicious as well. This is definitely a favorite brunch spot and I encourage everyone to come here. Making a reservation for this place is a must as well during brunch hours.

First, the environment and wait staff were great! There is easy street parking just outside and the outdoor seating area is beautiful. The indoor seating area was small and looked very nice as well. The food was very good and well presented also. There is a good selection available to choose from and I would recommend asking the excellent wait staff for suggestions. My wife and I will definitely be back and are thinking about booking one of the really cool yurts available for a group gathering!

Great food! We went on Sunday for brunch. Must have a reservation for Sunday brunch. Which is fairly easy to setup online. I would definitely check out this little hidden spot. I had nothing to complain about. The yurts are beautiful. We decided on the table dining which was still wonderful. Staff were so nice.

Food and service are always exceptional. You'll need to book well in advance if you want a yurt for brunch. Mimosa towers are a great experience but bottomless mimosas are a better value. Don't forget to try the champagne gun, too! I'm usually not a fan of chicken and waffles but I really enjoyed them here. However, the French toast was probably the biggest hit at the table.

Me and my friends went to The District without a reservation and the owner or manager ( he didn't get us his title) fit us in. We sat outside and it was great. The food was awesome and the mimosas tower is a God sent idea. I will be back. I love that the menu is so versatile.

Such a wonderful place to find peace fun and food. The staff are amazing, the decor is fun and bright, the food was absolutely perfect 🥰 I loved our time here tonight. We had the onions soup, the deviled eggs, shephards pie and a charcuterie board. We loved everything we ordered. Best part is the portions allowed for us to take some home for later. We didn't get a yurt tonight but the patio was just a nice to us. Thank you to the staff, owners and cooks. We appreciate you all so much

I can’t believe that it took me so long to find this gem! Amazing brunch. Our server was Courtney who was very knowledgeable and an absolute sweetheart. Whatever she recommended were amazing and we had the Caprese Board, Chimichurri steak, Steak Benedict, Jumbo shrimp and grits and shared a chocolate mousse for dessert! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! We‘ll be back to try their dinner menu - I’m sure we won’t be disappointed!

Yelp
Tucked away in the Springfield neighborhood lies this gem of a restaurant "the District". Stopped here for brunch on a Saturday and they had the vibes going just right. Live music, drinks, and pet friendly. The restaurant itself is right in the middle of the neighborhood, so it has a very welcoming aura. The ambiance on the weekend is lively. My wife and I sat on the outside area, and we got the bottomless mimosas running! The staff is so friendly, attentive, and we engaged in conversation with a few of them. The were even bring our Yorkie treats. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the smoked salmon dip for starters, very good. I love capers so anytime you add them, you got me. I ordered a Surf and Turf Burrito. Let me tell you... They put a whole steak and lobster in that thing. It was delicious. Overall, the restaurant, the vibes, the food, and the staff were amazing.

Yelp
First time in Jacksonville and saw a bunch of great reviews for The District. It definitely didn't disappoint! It was a great vibe and the food was yummy. We got bottomless and the servers were consistently passing by and refilling the cups. Deviled egg sampler - 9/10: they were all delicious, but the truffle one definitely stood out as the best. Steak and eggs - 8/10: would've been a 10 if everything came out hot. The potatoes came out hot and the steak and eggs were a bit lukewarm. Not the best thing for eggs to be. Grits - 100000/10: best grits I've ever had in my life! Sooo cheesy and flavorful. Croque Madame - 100/10: so delicious!!! Crème brûlée - 7/10: not amazing, not terrible. Pretty average. We did order a crab cake that never came and it wasn't taken off the bill which was a bit of a miss, but they made it up instantly which was great!

Yelp
The food here is amazing!!!! All of the dishes were very well seasoned!!! The ambiance is cute and fun. There is a live band and they were very good, they covered a various genre of songs. It was very relaxing. The dress code is brunchy but it can get hot on the patio. Now the CONS!!! Our server was inattentive and seemed overwhelmed. Our crab cake came to the table but unfortunately we were not able to eat it for at least 10 minutes bc our server didn't provide anything silverware and we couldn't find him to ask. He seemed bothered by the number of requests being made by his parties. Despite the food being flavorful, it didn't arrive to our table hot at all. Lastly, for the price of the food, I truly expected more.... ESPECIALLY the crab cake appetizer. It's TINY! Overall, I can't wait to revisit.

Yelp
When I say 10/10 food ,service, everything. We had the pleasure to be served by JoJo. When I say he offered the best service ever and he was a vibe. I just highly recommend the food so good.

Yelp
Visited this quant indoor and outdoor restaurant last week for brunch while in Jacksonville. Staff were extremely friendly and even accommodated us and relocated us to another table with less direct sun. We opted for the bottomless mimosas which they offer pineapple, orange and cranberry options. They have live music on the weekend too. For starters we began with the deviled egg sampler which was delicious. We had the steak and eggs and the Croque Madame. The croque madame was amazing- the best I've ever had! Over all we enjoyed or meal and if ever in the area would visit again. We had a small snafu with our bill because one of our items never came out but the staff corrected the problem at the end.

Yelp
My husband and I found this restaurant on TikTok and went for Saturday brunch. My oh my were we impressed. The indoor of the restaurant is small but they have a huge patio area (That's where you want to sit). They play different music indoors than outdoors. There was an acoustic singer with a guitar, singing alternative R&B. It was a vibe. The service was amazing. All the employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. Smoked Salmon Dip: 1000/10 My husband chose this. I was alil skeptical but OMG. This was so amazingly good. I wish we ordered more but I didn't want to be full for my main entree. I would highly recommend you trying it. The salmon was fresh and the capers gave it a nice jazz to it. Chimichurri Steak & Eggs - 10/10 I got the steak medium which was perfect. The eggs come poached so you can have the flavor of the egg with the eggs. There's also some Cajun gravy that the eggs sit in that is delicious. Overall there was so much flavor in this dish. Must try. Also there is bottomless mimosas til 3pm and there''s a few different juice flavors. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Oh, boy, do I have a review that will knock your socks off! Brace yourself for an unforgettable experience at The District. This place hits a perfect 10 on all cylinders! I'm talking top-notch service, mind-blowing food, and an atmosphere that is live and kicking. It's like they turned the dial all the way up to 12! Let's start with the service. From the moment I stepped foot into The District, I was greeted with a warm smile and treated like a VIP. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met and every question was answered. They truly know how to make you feel special. Now, let's dig into the food. Oh boy, this is where The District really shines. The menu is a masterpiece of flavor and creativity. From the first bite to the last, each dish was a delightful surprise. It's like the chef has a magic wand, turning ordinary ingredients into culinary works of art. Every dish deserves a standing ovation! But it's not just the food that will wow you. The atmosphere at The District is buzzing with energy and excitement. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like you've stepped into a different world. The live music takes the experience to a whole new level, creating an ambiance that is simply electric. You'll find yourself asking, "Am I in Jacksonville or am I in paradise?" So, my fellow adventurers, if you're looking for a unique experience that will leave you in awe, look no further than The District. It's a place where service, food, and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony. Trust me, this is a spot you absolutely must check out. So gather your friends, put on your dancing shoes, and get ready to have the time of your life at The District!

Yelp
Best place in Jax for bottomless mimosas!!! Live music and bottomless mimosas are a great combo but they also have delicious food one of my personal favorites is the French onion soup. I've gone multiple times with friends and food and service is always great can't wait for next time I go.

Aliyah S.

Yelp
This place has such a great vibe for brunch! One of my favorite places in the city to have brunch. The food is delicious plus the bottomless mimosas are always great. The service is great and our waitress mad sure to check on us very frequently.

Yelp
Hubby surprised me with a special dinner at The District. It's a place I've been wanting to try for a while now. We were seated outside in the beautiful patio and started the night with cocktails. He ordered his go-to Old Fashioned and I tried one of their specialty cocktails Flowers. My drink was very accurately named because it was super floral. We shared the focaccia & olive oil appetizer. It was phenomenal! The olive oil, balsamic vinegar and herb mixture was amazing. The rosemary focaccia bread was light, fresh and flavorful. A really good starter! For dinner, he ordered the braised short rib and I ordered the beef Wellington. I thought his dish was better than mine and I kind of wished I would have ordered that instead. The gouda grits were thick and super yummy. The red wine and tomato reduction was rich with deep flavor. Tender braised short rib was great. The beef Wellington was just ok. I liked the puff pastry but the beef was a bit underwhelming. Hubby liked it more than I did. The veggies on the side were fresh and cooked perfectly. Overall, great ambiance and friendly service. I would definitely visit again to try a different menu item.

Debbie F.

Yelp
Another great experience with continued great service. Loved seeing the new huge patio cover that will now have me visiting in the summertime. We loved the biscuit and gravy board with a pitcher of Sangrias, made our brunch perfect alongside with live music in the yard that had us swaying. Our server was so attentive to our needs and such a nice guy. The Creme Brulee is the bomb, so don't forget to try it!

Yelp
One thing I love about Jax is finding great brunch spots that are lively and have great food. The District is all that and then some. My friend took me here for a brunch date and I would've never guessed that this place was located on the opposite side of the stadium tucked away in a neighborhood. Walking in the vibe is very welcoming and upbeat atmosphere - which I can appreciate on a day that I plan on drinking a lot of mimosas. We sat inside (thankfully) and ordered the bottomless mimosas for $20 which goes from 11am - 3pm and had multiple mixer choices like watermelon, cranberry, and OJ. I chose watermelon and it was delicious and very light and refreshing. Our server was LITTTT, to say the least but definitely a fun time. For our entrees, my friend recommended the lobster tail and shrimp etouffee grits with a side of cajun gravy. Let me tell you, I have been to NOLA and have had the real deal - this entree transported me back there. It came with this jumbo shrimp and a fried lobster over creamy grits with a bed of cabbage slaw on top. The shrimp and lobster tail were perfectly seasoned and adding the cajun gravy elevated the dish so much more! I'm so happy my friend introduced me to this spot because I'm ready to come back for dinner or even a wine night.

Yelp
Can't believe this actually popped up on my delivery app! Is this a scam? There's no way I can get their food handed to me at home. I was having one of my down days and didn't want to go anywhere so I placed an order for their Creole Gumbo (three blackened shrimp, chicken, andouille sausage, jasmine rice) with an extra crab cake and my man only wanted the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts (parmesan, bacon, cashews). He wasn't too impressed with the brussel sprouts but my gumbo was fire! That sauce was kickin' and extra-spiced which was not what I was expecting. The crab cake was excellent as it was mostly real crab. I could still taste the sea in it. Forgot that this was the place that had the Yurts. Fall is definitely a good time to reserve one.

Cherie S.

Yelp
This is a cozy date night spot. The ambience is everything. The wait staff was very welcoming. We had the crab cake and the spinach and artichoke and bread. It was pretty yummy and well plated. We had the steak and mashed potatoes. Went to take a look out on the patio grounds. There are a few quite igloos for private dinners.

Alexa R.

Yelp
I met a friend here for Wednesday's happy hour and everything was amazing! I've only been here once for brunch, so I was excited to try their "regular" menu. Our server was great! He was very cool and hilarious. It was surprisingly quiet for a Wednesday after work. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, crab cake, and maple bacon deviled eggs to share. The sauce that came with the Brussels sprouts really took the flavor to the next level. The crab cake was part of the happy hour special- I could not believe how big it was! It was also full of crab and not breading like other crab cakes. The maple bacon deviled eggs were the perfect mix of sweet and salty. The large slice of green onion on top also really ties the flavors together! I wish I lived closer; I would come here all the time during the week! But I did enjoy my visit and look forward to returning!

Tish C.

Yelp
This was a happy birthday to me visit. I had previously been told all about the yurts so I was excited for the experience. We went right when the restaurant started carrying liquor at the bar. I understand when there is something new on the menu or services provided, things can be a little hectic. That being said, the bartender could have used some training. If you're using a book for recipes or "guessing" the amount of liquor you should possibly step away and let an expert show up. Our server was a lovely woman who went along with my friends and their playful hazing. In addition, the food was EXCELLENT. We didn't get the yurt, but I'm hoping when we venture there again we will get that experience. Side note: parking is EXTREMELY limited though they have an off-site dirt lot.

Nguyen L.

Yelp
The food is good. It could come out hotter though. But this place gettin' 3 stars instead of 4 and 1-2 because I've been twice and each time the waiter/waitress has been rude. Won't be dining in again. I'll get some take-out. And ima need an itemized receipt, not an oral run-down at my table of what I ordered honey-pooh.

Kayla H.

Yelp
The best experience ever. My husband and I try to find new happy hours around town when we get a chance and we definitely found a hidden gem. The food was fabulous! The drinks were amazing and the customer service was like no other.. we enjoyed chatting it up with the bar tender Chris, Terra, Brent (or Trent?), JoJo, just everyone we encountered was so pleasant and made it a great experience. We will be back for sure!36!6:

Yelp
Oh my goodness I wish there were 19 stars to give this business. Once a month I gather with high school friends. I had suggested this place as they have Yurts and was looking for a different vibe for my group. I had been here at least 4x's before. As I started strolling it was evident that there schedules did not meet ours. we are old. So I presented myself and after delicious drinks was able to score the Yurt! Fast forward we showed up and we were gifted Sean as our server. He was so awesome always there when we needed him. The food was amazing and the experience exceptional thank you Thank you thank you! We will be back or I will be back. You did not disappoint! For some reasons my pics do not post. If you ever inside ask for Sean! He is AMAZING!!

Jerrimee H.

Yelp
Bottomless mimosas for $20?! The best on a sunday! Also the food was so amazing! Shrimp and grits were great! Server was amazing

Taylor S.

Yelp
My favorite brunch spot in Jax so far! The mimosa tower was so fun, we loved how we got to mix our own drinks to our liking. All of the food was amazing as well. The best thing was the service and the live music. Such a fun spot, we will definitely be back!

Keith B.

Yelp
The atmosphere here gets better seems like every year. The patio often times on weekends will have a live artist playing especially during brunch hours. The wait staff is always pleasant and has made parties here a blast. Especially when everyone wants just to have a great time. The food is good, but let's be honest, for brunch we are here for the mimosas. And the mimosa towers are the way to go.

Arnwell H.

Yelp
This is the place to be if you want a great fun brunch or a cozy dinner. This place is the hidden gem of Springfield. They have a full bar, great wine list, and tasty appetizers. We shared the Salmon and grits and the Vegan tzatziki and fingerlings. They were very tasty although they did add some citrus I might ask to leave off the grits next time and the tzatziki was a little sweet for me. We have come several times before and it's always a good time. Everyone dining here seems ready for a good time. They are good for groups and dogs outside. Be sure to make a reservation as space fills up quick. The champagne gun and tower are always fun for brunch and an easy way to make everyone lively and satisfied.

Brandon R.

Yelp
Lord have mercy....i been here a few times and it's always a great atmosphere. But this time...in addition to the already great service and usually good food, I tried something different. I had the steak and lobster burrito. Hear me when I tell u it was f*ckin delicious!!! I don't know if I was just hungry or they got it right this one time but I'm definitely gonna be back to get it again. Definitely recommend. They now have a full bar as well! So more than beer and wine

Debi R.

Yelp
We went to The District for New Years Dinner in a yurt. The outdoor atmosphere was private and lovely. Perfect weather night. The service was superb. Attentive but not intrusive. Helpful and knowledgeable. We had a 4 yr old with us. They did not have a children's menu but accommodated him with sides he enjoyed. Our dinner began with a charcuterie board and a devil egg board. Both delicious. The chef sent us complimentary avocado Devil egg tray with jalapeños. What a treat! The Cocktail menu was perfect and we tried many different ones and enjoyed them all. For entrees our group of 5 had Beef Wellington, lobster tail and shrimp, and steak . Dessert was bread pudding, chocolate cake (huge), and bourbon pecan cheesecake. We left very happy, very full and more than satisfied. I would highly recommend this delightful yurt experience and delicious food served by the best staff we had in Jacksonville.

Bruenella W.

Yelp
Cool vibe Great energy Bottomless mimosas Staff was awesome Definitely say hi to Brent!

Yelp
The District is located in the historic Springfield neighborhood of Jacksonville, just north of Downtown. The area has been enjoying a revitalization and gentrification for the last two and a half decades. Plenty of parking on the side of the road as the restaurant is tucked into residential streets. The specific area The District is located is not overtly bad but be aware of your surroundings and lock your car doors; this isn't the sterile suburbs. The unassuming exterior opens into an eclectic interior and well designed outdoor space. We were seated within the restaurant confines but on a cobblestone outdoor patio. Large propane space heaters were activated for the women in our party but others enjoyed the cool temperatures. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. We started with Appetizers of Grilled Octopus, Focaccia and Olive Oil and Deviled Eggs. Both were excellent, fresh and prepared upon order. The Focacia was very tasty and lightly grilled. For entrees two of us really enjoyed the Radiatori Alla Vodka with plump, fresh grilled shrimp. The sauce was rich, pasta perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned. Our party also ordered French Onion soup, Crabcake and Brussell Sprouts which were fantastic, as well. The taste, freshness and preparation of the dishes exceeded our expectations. The Staff was kind and outgoing to please. Expect the inside to be a little eclectic and funky; this isn't a chain. Everything was very clean, also.

Yelp
Truly a gem of a spot in downtown Jacksonville! I came here with a bachelorette party group, and the ambiance was perfect for a group like that! We sat outside in their yard seating, and the lights and intimate setting were great for a party. The neighborhood the restaurant sits in doesn't quite match the restaurant - it's a bit out of place in an older residential area, but worth a visit! We started with their charcuterie board and bruschetta, and both had great flavor! The board was able to shared with a bigger group. They had great deals on refillable wine, and they even brought a champagne gun over for the bride (and the rest of us!) - no charge. Definitely a fun atmosphere! I had the salmon, and this dish was bursting with flavor! The blackened salmon was perfectly cooked with great spices, and the bed of risotto it sat on was just as tasty. The included sauce tied the flavors together and the whole dish was exciting and tasty! One of my favorite salmon dishes in awhile. Service was a tad on the slower side, but not as noticeable when you're with a big group hanging out in their outdoor space. Overall, a great experience!

Maurice W.

Yelp
Vibe and ambiance was great! Servers were pleasant and all smiles. The food was better than advertised. The jumbo shrimp in the grits had a nice kick to them and the grits could stand on their own! My wife had the Bread Pudding French Toast along with some bacon. She did not go wrong with that choice as well. The maple bacon deviled eggs were great also! We came for brunch this time but we will definitely be coming to try out the dinner menu.

Amber S.

Yelp
The District is a versatile restaurant that I love coming to for date night, Sunday brunch, happy hour, and everything in between. The menu is rotating, but there really is something for everyone. My current favorite meal is the blackened salmon which is easily one of my favorite salmon dishes ever. It's incredibly flavorful and is served with asparagus on a bed of creamy risotto. They do not serve liquor but do have lots of different beer and wine-type drinks. I love the District Signature champagne cocktail. If you're into chugging champagne, they also bring out a champagne gun for special events! The service is typically great and we rarely have a hard time getting a table. I would recommend reserving on the weekends and busy times though, just in case. The seating is mostly outside so if it's rainy, there will be much less capacity. The District is a great restaurant overall and I always look forward to my next trip there.

Nikii B.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant! Servers were very attentive - food was top notch! I'll have to come by for brunch - I heard it's a very popular place on Sundays!

Yunior R.

Yelp
The food, drinks and service are all great here! My first impression when pulling up to this place was where the heck am I, but when I walked in I was like wow! The ambiance of this place is Amazing. We have visited several times and whether you sit inside or outside you're going to have a great time! They change the menu often, but they always have great selections! The only bad thing about sitting outside is the mosquitos are really bad so wear Jeans. You won't regret visiting and call ahead to make a reservation!

Amy W.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service excellent. We had a large group and chose the yurt experience to enjoy our evening while celebrating my niece's wedding rehearsal dinner. The drinks were delicious as well Highly recommend this restaurant

Chanelle G.

Yelp
Truly had an unforgettable experience at The District! We had a girls night dinner and rented their green geodome in the peacock garden. This alone provided all the vibes! The geodome does cost require a deposit to rent, depending on which one you'd like. It was raining and a little chilly this night but we were not missing the experience! Everything was set up so nicely and they even provided us with a heater and blankets. There is also a speaker they provide you with for your own music in the geodome. Now, let's get into the food. I had the crab cake appetizer and really enjoyed this. It was FILLED with crab meat, not too much breading. I got the shrimp and grits as an entree and it was really good. The shrimp were HUGE, and seasoned very well. For the drinks, I tried the district signature which is their signature champagne cocktail with blackberry. Very refreshing. And I tried the Bye Bye Bye, which I really enjoyed. It had a nice flavor and was nice and strong. Definitely had a great experience and will be back.

Aricka D.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. We finally made a reservation for lunch today & I'm happy we did. We reserved to sit outside. Looks are deceiving when entering, it's very small, I mean VERY but once you get outside it opens up to a great spacious spot, with live music & lots of laughter. Our waitress informed us that there was no freezer on site so our food would be fresh. We ordered the salmon & grits and the lobster/shrimp omelette. The food was amazing. The salmon was literally cooked to perfection. It was juicy, not an ounce of dryness and was on top of Gouda grits. The omelette was sooo good. They are not stingy with the lobster or shrimp at all. It was very fresh & flavorful. I wish there were more bug catchers outside, we did spend a lot of time swatting bugs but I will probably always sit outside especially with the live music. I also wish there was music outside once the live music ends, we picked up music from scattered speakers but it was awkward silence & you could hear the conversations around you.

Crystal D.

Yelp
Absolutely Phenomenal experience at the district! You will not be disappointed! I had an old fashioned X's 3 each one was different because Chris the bartender wanted to try a few different styles and each one was exceptional! Yes they do smoke the old fashioned as well. I had the rib eye roast and the portion size did not disappoint. The flavor on the prime rib was exceptional each bite was just like the first bite and it is definitely the best foodie experience you want to have in Jacksonville in fact in Florida! It's definitely a must do! A++++++++++++++!!!!

Kenneth S.

Yelp
Visited The District after work with some co-workers to grab some apps and drinks. The atmosphere was really nice and allowed for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. It wasn't loud inside either. They accommodated 7 of us, but they could've easily sat more at our corner. The night started with a few appetizers (bruschetta and an order of meatballs). Although they were quite small, they were really good. Next up was a large charcuterie board. It had an assortment of meat, bread, crackers, various types of nuts and fruit, olives, pickles, and a scoop of pimento cheese. There was much left of the board by the end of the night. Everyone ordered multiple rounds of drinks, so I will assume they were good. Only one of us ordered an entree, blackened salmon. I was envious when it arrived on just the aroma alone. It arrived on a bed of risotto and veggies. That plate didn't have a chance! The District is located in historic Springfield, so if you know the area, then you know. If you don't, your may feel uneasy coming down at first. But the street it sits in was quiet and didn't have any issues. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in all of Jax. There is nowhere else like it. Service is top notch always. Have never had a bad meal. The deviled egg flight is a force to be reckoned with. The cheesy fluffy biscuits that come with the chicken pot pie will leave you wanting to order a pile of them. Moon the resident cat is the cherry on top. Sit outside. Make reservations if it's brunch. Yurts. Mimosa tower. Live music. Who could ask for more?!

Yelp
The atmosphere inside is date night cozy . We were greeted at the door to be seated. We were seated and given menus .....................Then I went to the bar to order our drinks and politely if she could get someone to take our order for food. The bartender was extremely empathetic and found us someone to bring us our food. The Server finally came took our order as the bartender served our drinks. Brian: Shepard's Pie It was good and depending upon your taste buds you may need some salt and pepper but Would definitely get it again. The biscuit given was not giving the cheddar bay biscuit taste it looked like. Tj: Maple Bacon Deviled Eggs and Spinach Artichoke Dip with Focaccia Bread x2 The mousse in the deviled egg was thick with no flavor. The maple bacon added a sweet salty. There was paprika but I still need to add salt/pepper. The spinach artichoke was good (it was the Focaccia) . Drinks: No alcohol currently being served. Only Beer and wine. Peach Bellini - The champagne is super carbonated - tiny bubbles (soda). Only the color was peach. No peach taste. New Old Fashion: Tasted like a premixed drink with soda. and yes would we would give them another try.

Yelp
Possibly one of the most unexpected locations to find a restaurant with this caliber of food. It is nestled in the Springfield neighborhood of North Jacksonville. I have been here twice. Once for dinner with my daughter and her wife and the second time was for brunch with my husband. Both times we had good service and great food. Our dinner was on a Monday in January when they first opened It was not busy and we sat on the patio. I had their version of an espresso martini and beef Wellington. For brunch we sat inside and I had the croque madame. We had reservations for brunch, which I recommend, since it seemed quite busy. I really love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for unique and upscale menu options.

Yelp
Such a great local place to go for with friends and neighbors for some delicious food and fun drinks. Reservations are recommended and since we arrived for an early dinner, we had our choice of inside or outside. Outside is clearly the preferred choice. Like any outdoor dining in Florida though there are flies and mosquitos to contend with, however there are plenty of citronella candles and even insect repellant available as needed. We started with cocktails to celebrate a birthday. The happy hour menu and social media is a little confusing since they have not been updated to the current specials, but a discount on the new full alcohol specialty cocktails was available so we started with those. I ordered the "Flowers" which was gin, lavender, and rosemary. It was beautiful but so floral that I personally could not enjoy the fragrant concoction so passed it along to hubby and ordered a nice glass of wine from the impressive wine list. We wanted to try a variety of appetizers, so ordered the crab cake, the kung pao brussels sprouts, and a shrimp cocktail. Unlike the charcuterie boards meant to be shared, other than the brussels sprouts, the appetizers are more like a single serving. The crab cake was amazing, so packed with flavor and real crab meat, not fillers, and accompanied by a tasty, pretty, little salad. Those who tried one of the four large shrimp on the cocktail said they were delightful as well. The brussels sprouts were the only disappointing dish we tried. They were cold and dry and lacked flavor even with the small sauce on the side. For entrees we ordered Grouper, the blackened salmon, the gumbo, and the filet mignon. Everything was prepared perfectly. Personally I have never had such an outstanding salmon dish anywhere. The flavors were spot on and the fish was moist and flawless. We all finished all of our entrees and moved on to dessert to celebrate the occasion. I had the creme brulee, another had the large bread pudding, and my hubby tried the brie cheesecake at the server's recommendation. The brie cheesecake lived up to the hype, more savory than sweet. We look forward to another occasion to visit the District.

Yelp
The service was great no complaints from the time we step foot in the restaurant. The prices of the food were too high for what I thought was brunch. To heavy on the seasoning from the potatoes to the salmon. Had my stomach rumbling and bubbling from how much it was on the food. The area was wonderful looks like a real cute place to come eat for it to be our first time.it was cold outside and the outside heaters should have been on. I would give it five stars but it lost a star for over seasoning the food.

Yelp
We booked the tent for a friend's birthday and had a wonderful experience! It was $25 to book the tent that can seat 8 ppl. It was air conditioned and well lit. The food was delicious! I had the short rib with Gouda grits. The meat was cooked perfectly just wish it had a bit of spice. I can eat those grits all day. For dessert, i recommend the cheesecake or creme brûlée! There is a new chef that started ask for anything made by her. I forgot her name. Our waiter was so fun and nice! He was a big tall white guy. I think his name was Chris.

Yelp
If you go on a Wednesday you can get the cocktail flight for $20... that alone is worth it! We also did the bacon deviled eggs, the crab cake, and the brussel sprouts. SO GOOD all the way around and the service staff was very helpful too. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I love The District! The atmosphere is so different from anywhere else in Jacksonville, and it boasts such a unique vibe and accommodations than almost anywhere else I've ever seen. What kind of review would this be if I didn't mention the Yurts? They are so neat, inside and out. The inside of The District is also such a cool place, but I can't do it if the outside is open. It's just so fun outside. They often have live music, a kitty or two, and you may even see a well behaved pup on a leash. The food has unique flavors and presentation, which is one of my biggest draws to the place. They have a food and drink happy hour until 6 if you're bougie on a budget, but their prices are fair otherwise as well. I've come on many girl get togethers, big tables, small tables, dinner, happy hour, and brunch and have enjoyed every experience. They do get very busy for brunch, so don't come hangry. One of the greats here in Jax!

Yelp
This is becoming a staple for girls day/brunch. Best food & drinks! I'm obsessed with the French toast & bruschetta.

Yelp
This was my first time at The District ... and I'll be back! Had the Beef Wellington and not only was the presentation beautiful, the dish was yummy! Beef tasty and nice medium rare. Good sized portion, too! Our main waiter, Joseph was attentive and professional! Thanks for sharing lovely meal. Oh, nice ambiance, too.
