We visited this restaurant as a family, excited after hearing so many great reviews. However, I can only give this place 2 stars. The parking was convenient, the setting was lovely, and the vibe seemed promising with a band playing in the lounge as we arrived. We were seated in a beautiful spot, but our server never introduced themselves, so I'm still not sure of their name.
The menu looked intriguing, and our group of five adults and three kids decided to start with three appetizers to share. The drinks were the highlight of our order, but things went downhill from there.
For my entrée, I ordered salmon with lemon risotto, and for the first time in a long time, I couldn't finish my dinner. My husband had the pork Milanese, which he found crunchy but completely flavorless, needing a whole lemon and lots of salt and pepper to make it palatable. My son-in-law ordered the crispy chicken and described it as rubbery and unimpressive. My daughter's coconut shrimp lacked any noticeable coconut flavor, and she said the shrimp itself wasn't firm. Finally, my son-in-law's mother had fish and chips, and she commented that the batter wasn't crispy.
I hate to complain, but I have to be honest--both the service and the meal were disappointing, and we won't be returning. Hence we decided to have dessert out at another venue.
