The bartender was super nice. Kahlua loved her drink—the garnish was her favorite! She’s allergic to chicken and beef, but the bartender was able to give her something that would cause an allergic reaction. The patio was so aesthetic with the yellow brick road, the seating, and all things considered. We’ll definitely be back! 🥰

So cute ! Great place to have a beer with your dog! They have dog “cocktails” and a play area for the dogs! Our server was great and took accommodations well! Will be back for sure!

It's a very cute place for dogs and dog lovers. The price is reasonable; my dog loves the treats. The area for humans and dogs hanging out has no A/C. It's better to come here during fall, winter, and spring.

If I could give Paul and Gem more than 5 stars they would get the universe from me. I was a frantic mess looking for a place to host my doggy's first birthday when I was scrolling through google and found this place. I had looked over the websit and thought great. Well ran into some complications with the website and I got on the phone with Paul to get everything settles. We spoke (btw he was so pleasant) and we moved on. I had some questions about the venue and without hesitation he was on it with an answer to every question. When I arrived to the dog bar Cruella and I were greeted with great big smiles and open arms. Paul and Gem assisted me with unloading the car and getting my decorations set up. (They already had the dog yard set up for me). These two were nothing but phenomenal and I would do it all over again just because of their hospitality. Lets not mention the drinks for the pups I must say they were delicious because not one was left from any of the pups who attended. The drinks the offered for humans was just enough not over bearing and just great to enjoy the time. If any one needs any recommendations for a party for dogs this is the place for you. Don't read any other reviews and book. Thank you Paul and Gem for your hospitality and I cant wait to return and play bingo with you guys.

A great place to relax and hang out for pet owners and their dogs! The Dog Bar is centrally located in the Montrose area. There are parking spaces at the front of the establishment, and street parking across and on Hyde Park Blvd. Simply walking into-The Dog Bar outdoor area would transport you to a positive vibing space. The combination of curated music in the background and the outdoor furnishings would take pet owners and their dogs instantaneously to a pet friendly down to earth neighborhood locale. There are pet rules but other than that, your dog is free to roam within the fenced area and inside the establishment. There are curated dog cocktails with dog friendly ingredients, dog beers (made for dogs), dog treats and other pet items. Water bowls are available for dogs. My small dog could not finish his cocktails and the staff are kind to put the rest in a to-go container. My dog would finish his cocktails at home. Light refreshments are available for humans. Customer service is an A plus+!!!!! The staff are very courteous, helpful and often check on their human and 4 legged guests! It’s a wonderful place to take your dog besides the dog park.

Really enjoyed going around Christmas when they had pics with Santa! The staff were really kind and welcoming and I enjoyed being able to order a combo which had a drink for me and one for my doggie. Will definitely take my pup back at some point!

The person helping me was SO sweet, kind, and helpful. She crocheted cute dog bandanas they are selling herself! There's lots of dog related treats and items for purchase. Kona loved her sundae and even met some friendly dogs that were there at the same time we were! I found the price for the sundae incredibly reasonable, and plan on getting her something different next tine. My only real complaint is that the human beers are quite expensive. I'd pay more for the dog snacks personally, but my beer being one can for $5 wasn't awesome to me. I'd have no interest in drinking a lot there, but one to two whole I hang out and let Kona socialize and enjoy this amazing spot would be great if not so high priced.

The Dog Bar is so cool. Such a fun concept. The drinks were good and we loved the decorations and music. My dog Sir loved the treats and toys he brought home. This is such a cool place to bring Sir. Can't wait to see all the events they are going to have. And don't forget to visit Pop Soap next door.

My dogs love this place! This unassuming dog bar is located on Montrose Boulevard. There are a few parking spots out front and also street parking in the neighborhood. There is a small turfed area where dogs can run around and potty. The front area has tables and chairs for the humans to relax at. Inside they have a ton of doggy treats and a full dog menu. My dogs' favorite pup tail is the Doggy on the Beach and they also love Dog Shots! They also sell seltzers, beers, and nonalcoholic options for the humans. The owner is so sweet and you can tell he truly loves what he does. They have events for various occasions...the last event we went to was their Easter egg hunt and my dogs got a ton of treats! Be sure to follow their instagram for event details. Definitely a great place to come and socialize with other dogs (and humans).

On Montrose, you'll find a bright tiny shack, where accessories and drink menu items are served... FOR PUPS! Dog Bar offers a unique experience for fur babies. For $9, your pup can have a specialty "puptail" of their choice: The Hawaiian Pawty Punch (antioxidants + almond milk), Doggy on the Beach (savory broth + carrots & peas) or the Mutt Mai Tai (tropical fruits + coconut milk). For a dollar less, you can also order a canned Good Boy Dog Beer. For humans, they serve canned and bottled beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We ordered the Doggy on the Beach for our two pups, but after a few sips, they weren't too content with their order. They typically love savory, but this special blend was bland. Though intentions are well, the dog bar could offer a lot more. For one) parking-- there is none, as their lot is used for their patio. Two) They do not sell food for the pups, but they have the potential to expand their menu 3) Due to the limited space, they do not offer indoor seating, and the outdoor seating they do have are three frugal ables with a few seats.

My dog LOVES the dog bar. Trust me, if she had a car and a wallet, she'd be here every day! The staff is always incredibly kind and enthusiastic; it's very clear that they love working there. It's very clean, well organized, and exciting to walk in to, even as humans! The best part sic not only do they have amazing doggie cocktails/desserts, but they also have drinks for the humans! It's very cute on the outside and inside. A staple for the pups in Montrose for sure.

Omg stumbled upon the Dog Bar on a long walk with my pup to get to know the neighborhood, and it is a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in ypu and your pup feel so welcome and I love that first timers get leid !! They have pup beer and puptails of all kinds. They have an assortment of cool toys, snacks, and clothing for dogs. They also have some adult human beverages to enjoy alongside your dogs!! I highly recommend you try this place with your wagging best friend.

Bailey went to the Dog Bar for her 3rd birthday. She's obsessed with this place! After devouring her puptail and doggy sundae she repeatedly went to the window to request more treats. The staff were super friendly and truly showered her with love (and snacks). It was a rainy day so she had the place to herself but it is one of the cutest places to spoil your furry friends. Great vibes all around.

We've been coming to the dog bar since day one and we absolutely love it!! Milo loves the puptails on the menu and the newest pup sundae is his ultimate favorite for this hot weather. Thanks so much for having such a great place for us and our boy.
