"Open since 2009, the Donut House expertly bakes a variety of cake doughnuts, old-fashioned, and raised doughnuts in Aurora. Desserts from the “Legends” menu elevate flavor combinations like mango and blueberry and peanut butter brownie, while hybrid doughnuts are still on the cronut (croissant-doughnut) fad." - Camila Navarrette, Andra Zeppelin, Paul Albani-Burgio

Google
I was skeptical how good these could be but man they are REALLY good!! Perfect consistency - nice and pillowy but just enough denseness to make them filling. The blueberry donut was a tiny a bit sweeter than I typically like, but still fresh blueberry flavor right up front. And maple donut? Absolute perfection. Great service and prices too - I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
NEW FLAVORS! This was already the best quality donut in the area, but they just added more than a half dozen new flavors and treats! Do you like blueberry, orange, or lemon frosting? You probably don’t know because they aren’t common donut flavors. You can see and smell the pieces of fruit. What about a peach, blueberry, or strawberry fritter? Or a cronut with brown butter cream? I just had the dubai with pistachio cream (not pictured) and it was lovely. Support a local business and get a delicious donut (or 12) and stop by to try these new flavors. You won’t regret it.

Google
WOW! There really should be a warning sign on the door! Caution: Highly Addictive, May Cause Extreme Happiness (and potentially expand your waistline). But seriously, the owner is very and patient when answering my questions. I can’t believe this place isn’t more famous. I got half a dozen ($15) and 3 of the donuts I got to choose what flavor I wanted inside of them ( he then goes and fills them right there) I chose Nutella, Bavarian cream, and Fluffy White. Consider yourself very lucky if you stumble upon this place 😍

Ashley Clough

Google
Delicious donuts! They fill them fresh with filling of your choice and have a large selection of raised and cake donuts 🍩

Google
Omar's place has always been a fantastic donut house. He's a great guy and his peeps make fantastic donuts. Better than any in town that I've tried. You can sit there and have a cup of coffee with your donut if you like. But like most donut shops, it isn't exactly designed for a dine-in experience. Donuts are absolutely above average and definitely worth a stop. Give yourself a treat...!

Chimetria

Google
Attempted to support a local business, and was disappointed! Purchased 6 random donuts, and only 2 was able to be eaten. When I returned to the location with the undercooked donuts, I was given 4 more, and 3 of those were in the same condition (undercooked). I appreciate the efforts. However, there needs to be some re-training to ensure the health department isn't visiting this location.

Google
The first time I visited with my boyfriend, we had a lovely experience. Almost all of the donuts tasted great and we got amazing service from the cashier! The cookies and cream flavor had a bit of an odd taste to it so we ended up throwing it out, but the cronut was the best part of our selection! The second time i visited, we walked in and were not greeted because one of the employees was screaming on speakerphone with someone. They walked away from the front, leaving whoever was on speakerphone still screaming during our entire time in the store. We attempted to order with another worker but could barely hear him due to the screaming in the background. Overall it seems like a great place but it depends on the day

Cindy Kim

Google
It tastes great for the price, I strongly recommend it.

Edna R.

Yelp
Best donuts in CO. Wow wow wow! 10/10 food, service, and prices are great! Such sweet people. I will always be a loyal customer here. Omar is amazing

Jessie M.

Yelp
Terrible donuts as service . I ordered a jelly donut and it had chocolate in it disgusting

TT D.

Yelp
Had a box of 12 donuts all different type of chocolate flavor, was tasty and family loved them.

Nancy J.

Yelp
Wonderful little donut shop with nice choices. Person who helped us choose was very helpful and he did not go wrong. My personal favorite: the square croissant donut, though our dozen mixed to take to the grandkids were all eaten with enthusiastic expressions of appreciation.

Briana E.

Yelp
First. The service was excellent, they made me feel like we were friends. Second. THE FREAKING DONUTS. So delicious!!! Each bite got better and better. The more you chew it the more yummy it got! AND you guys have to try the DONUT Croissant! It melted in our mouth!!! And I have no shame in the game.... We finished the box that same night

Jordan m.

Yelp
I came at 12:30 and the place was closed when online it said it was open. :/ Was really looking forward to experiencing them

Alicia Z.

Yelp
I've had better and way over priced , half a dozen was 15.00 and change , won't go back and can get better donuts for less

Ryan S.

Yelp
Service was horrible. Donuts were mediocre at best. Got a half dozen of donuts, but the employee working decided his service was good enough for a automatic 45% tip without asking me, then refusing to give me the receipt. Not sure if this is normal here but won't be coming back.

Nelson P.

Yelp
ordered a dozen with some cronuts and jelly filled donuts. taste wise, the cronut was a 10/10. even when it's cold, the texture of the donut was flaky and soft. i also like how they fill the donut after you choose which filling. making it not soggy and having a lot of filling options. the worker was also super chill and friendly, gave me two extra donuts just cause. really convenient they close late, a solid late night snack option.

Mari F.

Yelp
I specifically went here this morning because I saw their Instagram post about every Monday and Tuesday having a bogo special on a half dozen donuts. Ordered a dozen regular donuts, a dozen donut holes, a peach fritter, cronut, and a cake donut. The total apparently came out to $45!!! So I know they did not honor the advertised bogo half dozen donuts. My total should have been closer to $32. Unfortunately, since I had my toddlers with me, I wasn't paying attention when I paid and only noticed when I checked my credit card statement. I'm also not thrilled with the peach fritter... it's pretty bland and I don't taste any peach. That said, I did add a star because the employee was very sweet and even helped me take the boxes of donuts to my car since I had my hands full with the kids.

Yelp
We were craving some doughnuts for dessert and for breakfast the next day, so off to the doughnut house we went! It was late but this location is open much later than some of the others so it worked out great. We wanted some OG doughnuts done well, not anything that focuses more on toppings and ignores the doughnut itself (looking at you, Voodoo). This was a good choice for what we wanted. We got an assorted dozen, plus a bear claw, some cro-nuts, and an Apple fritter. The doughnuts themselves were great, a definite step above a chain like DD. I liked the filled doughnuts options (we got one lemon and one raspberry) that were filled on request. Our top winners were the fritter and bear claw though, if we're craving that we'd come back.

Angelica S.

Yelp
The donuts here taste better than dunkin donuts but some days at this location there are different cashiers and i feel robbed. I was givin 30 cents after i handed a $5 bill for one croissant donut is that even normal? like um im not coming back. Just over priced.

Richard P.

Yelp
Uninspired and basic. One of my favorite treats to sample while traveling are local donuts. I'm sorry to say that this spot misses on originality, quality and value. An assortment of one dozen donuts, a few of them "fancies" totaled over $32 with tax. Nothing stood out as original, fresh or high-caliber. Hard pass on this one.

Beth A.

Yelp
I walked in not knowing this would be the best donuts Ive gotten in a long time. The prices are great for a family owned business and you will be pleased with the quality of food here. Its all homemade and fresh even if you are like me and get there later than the average donut buyer. Please support this family owned business if you are in the area looking for a sweet treat. My personal favorites now that i was able to try one (or two) of every item would have to be the Cinnamon donut (tastes like Cinnamon toast crunch), and you cant go wrong with a Cronut or even plain glazed donut. The man who helped me was incredible and so sweet so you can count on great service during your visit. Cant wait to come back and get probably more donuts than id like to admit.

Jessica M.

Yelp
OMG! I was back in town three weeks ago and the morning we left to drive home, I HAD TO STOP FOR A DOZEN donuts for the kids and I! They're pretty pricey but SO WORTH IT! They melt in your mouth and the donut/croissant is the best thing ever created! Can you send me some to Utah?! I'd definitely pay for that! They don't have any good donuts out here! Can't wait to be back! Thank you for all you do!

Vince R.

Yelp
It's Valentine's Day, quick treat on my way to the office... Over $4 for a burnt tasting fritter and not even a smile from behind the counter... Times are tough for all of us... Not a good experience...

Christina S.

Yelp
Look as you guys can probably tell from my reviews I have a weakness for donuts! As there is an impeding snow storm I thought it was only right I get myself a nice half dozen to get me through the cold weekend. Naturally I had to take a few bites, for quality control of course, and they are definitely good. The maple old fashioned was ok. The maple raised was light, fluffy, and airy, though a tad on the sweet side. These are some decent donuts that I'd say are definitely superior to say a Dunkin or something along those lines. I could use a touch more creativity. Would I go out of my way to order these again ( I don't live nearby) probably not. Would I stop in if I happen to be in the area, sure! Either way I'm pumped to have some nice treats as my sweet tooth kicks in while being potentially snowed in!

Tanya J.

Yelp
They've been closed the last few 12am nights I've tried going even though they had the open sign on and store hours listed on the door as 2am daily.

Jazzmin L.

Yelp
Great local spot for donuts! Tried the crumb, jelly filled, Cronut and maple bar, and all were quite tasty. The Cronut was nice and flaky, but felt more like a novelty, not exactly worth the price. The classic donuts, however, were great. I loved that they had a variety of jelly filled flavors (we got the cherry) and they all had a good, fluffy texture. Best of all, the donuts tasted fantastic heated up the next morning. Will definitely be returning to try more flavors!

Harlee S.

Yelp
This review is for a couple months ago. So my family and I were craving some dessert and it was pretty late at night, maybe 8 or 9. I think the shop was probably closing soon as the display case only had a couple items left. The employee also informed us that all the items left in the cases were what they had left to sell. Therefore, I dont think we got the best bakery items they had to offer or at least the best quality. The donuts were a bit hard and doughy and we didn't enjoy them as much as other reviewers here have. I would say to try this place early or mid afternoon to get the best quality and I will definitely be back to update my review.

Yelp
I love donuts and always like to try independent donut shops wherever I am. This locally owned business is easy to miss if you're not looking for it. It's right next door to the UPS store so use that as your landmark. It's a small shop, nicely set up and very clean. Donuts are $1.25 apiece for regular donuts, $7 for a half dozen, and $13 for a dozen regular donuts. I really like the place and the woman at the counter was very pleasant. The donuts were pretty average. They're good but not incredibly good. They have a steady stream of customers, so the locals must be pretty satisfied with their donuts. The coffee was piping hot, I mean super hot, but once it cooled down a bit, it was nice and smooth. Just the way donut shop coffee should be. It's $2.09 for a medium cup of coffee. Cute local donut shop. Glad I gave it a try.

Michelle F.

Yelp
Not very good for the price. Tasted old and stale. Oil tasted old. For 4 cake doughnuts and 1 fancy doughnut and a 1/2 dozen cronut holes it was $19.17 Also was charged a 4% fee for using my debit card. Did not see the fee when I originally paid. It is in small print on the menu and not anywhere else or on the register. I only found out about it when I went back to tell them that I was over charged. He was very rude and wasn't apologetic at all.

Devorah R.

Yelp
All of their donuts are delicious, but they truly have the best donut holes in town! The service is always welcoming and can't beat their reasonable prices.

Klemens T.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time and it wasn't too bad. I didn't know they sold real food other than donuts. I ordered the hamburger with fries. Every entree you order comes with a free donut. Of course I had to order my favorite chocolate cake donut with sprinkles lol. My hamburger was made with fresh homemade hamburger patty. It was a bit bland tasting, but for the price, nothing to complain about. There's a lot of parking available. The staff was quick and friendly.

Gabriel B.

Yelp
$35 for a dozen donuts is criminal. Good trick whispering the total and telling me to insert my card to pay.

Corinne H.

Yelp
This is my favorite donut place and I'm not even a donut fan! I love that they fill the donuts fresh to order and have a variety of fillings. Also the different fruit fritters are amazing. I love the raspberry filled maple glazed and the blueberry fritters.

Sayeeda A.

Yelp
A little too sweet for me. The glazed donuts were good. The fritters were overrated and really hard

Maritza W.

Yelp
Black own donut shop yes please!! So friendly with great customer service. First time going in and I'm going to have to keep coming. Donuts are delicious by far, nothing too crazy or over the top from this shop like overly sweet but everything taste real fresh. Very happy I stopped into this shop and was able to provide support. Shop locally and small business yall! Won't be disappointed here. Peace

Abby G.

Yelp
Donuts were ok- process was quick and selection was ok. 3 stars for cleanliness and overall look and feel. It needs some TLC

Jazmyne T.

Yelp
I love Donuts and i couldn't leave Colorado without trying the one donut shop that i kept seeing pop up. To my surprise they had Cronuts which were phenomenal. I got my usual pick which is a white iced coconut yeast, glazed twist, and boston creme all which were so good and tasted even better on my roadtrip back to Vegas. 10/10 definitely recommend to anyone visiting Denver.

Xander B.

Yelp
The guy was super friendly and even snuck in some extra donuts with our purchase. The donuts themselves were fresh and delicious

Angelyn A.

Yelp
Pure serendipity. Dropped something off at UPS and saw The Donut House truck parked up front. We weren't even exactly in the mood for donuts, but a quick yelp search made us "crave" and give in. I'm not really a big donut person, but wow. All their donuts are DELICIOUS! Soft and just the right amount of sweet. My toddler loved her strawberry frosted with M&Ms. even the sugar coated and glazed were good! Don't be fooled by the simple storefront. Worth it!!! Edited to add... the service was outstanding to top it all off. ETA2: been here 4X since this review was posted.

Chelsea W.

Yelp
Not only is the story of this family business incredible their product speaks for itself. Attending an event with tons of other donuts and I don't think I can even bring myself to try another one after the tres leches crohole. I cannot wait to try some more from this with more locations I'm hoping for one in Westminster! Always enjoy supporting family traditions!

Chelsea P.

Yelp
Omar!?! I've been coming to this shop since you first opened, sometimes a couple times a week- I bring them in to my students, I LOVE your donuts. But I just paid $14.59 for this box of 5 donuts! I can't afford to come here any more if this is how much you're charging. I know you make exceptional donuts, you're opening more stores, and you have to make a profit. But I am never going to pay $15 for 5 donuts ever again. I will really miss your store and your donuts, I just can't afford to eat these!!

Eric O.

Yelp
Horrible experience. Used door dash, the driver was given the wrong item. We ordered a dozen donuts and a dozen donut holes, this should be a large order, RIGHT???? Well they gave the driver a bag with 2 donuts. A bag with 2 donuts!!!! How do you not know this is obviously the wrong order at the beginning???? How could this location not notice this??? How could a manager or even an associate not notice the difference between a bag with 2 donuts and two large boxes??? We waited one hour and 30 minutes, the driver showed up and said "you will have to call this number, they gave me the wrong item". We called door dash and they ignored us and stated it wasn't their fault. Not only didn't this location care about the poor service but we finally got our refund from door dash after a while of arguing. NEVER AGAIN!!! DONT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION

Marada M.

Yelp
This place was exactly what I hoped it would be-- a little hole-in-the-wall donut shop that offered classic deliciousness without artisan prices. I decided to pick up donuts for pre-hike goodies to share and got half a dozen for $7 and added on some cronut donut holes (six for $3). There was a man sitting in the tiny dining area enjoying his breakfast but no other customers. The man working was courteous and offered my many questions about what types they had. The donuts themselves were super tasty and dense. Be careful having more than one though-- not only are they filling it's very likely to send you into a sugar coma.

Rowena B.

Yelp
We were having a doughnut party and got a dozen from here. They threw in an extra one which was cool. I tried a variety of flavours from this box, and I know they're supposed to be sweet, but I really felt like they were too sweet. 1/4 of the strawberry one felt like my teeth were going to fall out! I liked the coconut one a bit more though!

Pixie M.

Yelp
I went out of my way one morning to stop in here because I saw them listed on somewhere as one of the to donut places in Colorado. The cake donut was pretty good, nice solid consistency and good flavor. But the fritter was greasy and tasted like it was fried in old oil. Of the two men working the counter, one was very friendly and engaging; the other not so much. I agree with another Yelper about the lack of menu and pricing. If I'm driving by and in the mood for donuts, I'll stop in again.

Christy J.

Yelp
Original glazed donut is the way to go! Melts in your mouth! Yum! The owners are very friendly. Doesn't compare to Dunkin donuts

Allison S.

Yelp
The Donut House has good staple donuts. They do not disappoint nor do they blow my taste buds away. There are many locations around the Denver area which makes the shop convenient. I enjoy their basic glazed donut whenever I visit and the staff is usually friendly. The smell of fresh baked donuts never gets old.. sometimes the donuts do and my last visit the batch did not seem as fresh. Quick note if your stopping for a donut focus on that and stay clear of the coffee. It's not worth the two bucks which is more expensive than a donut.

bernadette g.

Yelp
We stopped on a whim while driving back to Colorado Springs from DIA and I'm so glad we did. Hands down the best donuts I've had in the state of Colorado. The bear claw, apple fritter, cinnamon sugar, and cronut were our favorites.

Michael H.

Yelp
These are the greatest donuts I have ever had. And I have tried like every kind in town. You guys know how to do the donuts and I am your biggest fan.

Patience L.

Yelp
It's no Krispy creme or dunkin doughnut. But I did appreciate that they filled my Boston creme at the time I was coming. I'm only giving them 3 starts because the doughnuts have probably been sitting there all day. The are OPEN LATE if you want a drunk night doughnut run or a random doughnut craving. Bring cash if you're not willing to spend more than 3 dollars.

Riza H. C.

Yelp
Came to this Donut House on Saturday April 20th 2013. It was about 13:30hrs. For the Long Donuts Dipped with Chocolate, while we were at this Donut House, the staff told us, we can have the option for it to be filled with 3 different flavors such as Raspberry, Lemon and another flavoring, in which I cannot recall. We decide to purchase a dozen donuts for our friends, who we were visiting in Bailey. Added to the purchase, I also opt to have 3 different donuts. The total cost of the Donuts we purchased was $13.66 with tax. I like the donuts... For my personal consumption I opt for : * Raspberry Filled, with Chocolate Dipped Long Donut. * Sugar Donut * Chocolate Cake Donut with Nuts I guess I was too hungry since I had not had lunch that afternoon, before I arrived to our destination, I already devoured the Sugar Donut and Chocolate Cake Donuts with Nuts. The Sugar Donut was light and fluffy. The Chocolate Cake Donut was more Dense, but its just right of sweetness for my personal taste bud. Hubs said the Donuts are just A-OK. Our friends liked the donuts too. One of our friend mentioned that he likes the ones with Coconut Flakes the best, since his favorite kind of Donut is anything and everything with Coconut. Definitely will return to this Donut House, since I like to support local Moms and Pops shop. Furthermore, they also provide Sandwiches, Paninis, Hamburgers and some other food, if you intend to get your lunch here. There are several tables and seats available inside this establishment if you intend to choose to have your donut and beverages there too. Parking outside is slightly limited and tricky coz in this strip mall, there are other establishment that shared the parking spaces, but there are plenty of parking available just behind the establishment. 3.5 SOLID STARS! The Donut House, 3124 S. Parker Road, Aurora, CO 80014. Tel : (303)-337-2771 @92/2013

Meleaha G.

Yelp
Perhaps the business is trying to make up for COVID-19 losses or huge potential to go out of business??? I say so because when I went 3 weeks ago, there were no posted pricing menus nor displayed pricing monitors. Place has always looked like hole in the wall inside and out. They use a Clover Mini POS to charge customer(s) extra if/when using iPay, debt, or credit... Horrible that I use to enjoy their donuts, but 2 glazed croissant donuts+ 1 pink glazed donut+ with taxes+ Clover Mini POS= "$12"--YES TWELVE DOLLARS???!!!!! I canceled ordered, walked out, & will never return!!!!! To think, a dozen (12) donuts is fairly priced at $12!!!! Go to the new King Soopers across the way for $.69 donuts just as good.

Sunil R.

Yelp
Apparently they were voted the best Donut in CO. I can see it, very good donuts and I loved the cronut. Small location and super nice employees.

Mallory D.

Yelp
The best donuts in Denver hands down! I can't get enough of the lemon filled and cake style donuts. The owner is always friendly and customer service is excellent! I have never not had a fresh delicious donut and great prices especially compared to the bougie shops!

Trint L.

Yelp
We stop by the Donut House at least once a week. Omar really is the donut king! (And Abdul is the donut prince, I guess.) These guys genuinely care about their customers. They're very friendly. They love kids. And, more importantly, they LOVE DONUTS!! Omar is always innovating. The latest new thing I tried was the creme brulee donut. Oh... Em... Gee.... My usual is a maple old fashioned. Sooo good. Rich with just the right amount of crunch. Oh, man. My mouth is watering. Time to head to the Donut House!!

Tanya B.

Yelp
Stopped for apple fritters yesterday. My sister went in to get them. When she got in the car she couldn't stop raving about the place! They have different fruit fritters.! Not just apple. But the apple is maybe the best I've ever tasted. Cant wait to go back. I was also told the women behind the counter was really nice.

Tanya K.

Yelp
I'm not the type to eat donuts regularly... but this place changed me! First, the service is always so nice. They're patient to help you out with questions or recommendations and will even talk about your day because they care. Second, the hours... you can't beat being open 22 hours a day. If you're craving something sweet at 1 am or 2 pm, they gotchu! Third, the fritters. They've got me hooked! It has a nice balance of soft doughyness and crunchyness with just enough sweet and oil you like from a fried dessert. They've got all kinds of donuts and are always making them throughout the day. The cronut was a fave of my boyfriends as well. We used a regular donut to toast and use as a bun for a burger, totally recommend! Try these donuts, they won't disappoint.
