Donut Man – Winter Haven, FL I’ve been wanting to come here for years and finally went today and WOW!. Absolutely AMAZING. Hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had. Fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Also, the breakfast was delicious we got an egg, ham and cheese croissant and the turkey, ham and cheese ciabatta and hash brown. The employees are super friendly, and the owner truly loves his business. He’s so attentive and genuinely sweet, which makes the experience even better. You can really feel the passion behind the place. The shop could use a good remodeling, but honestly, the quality of the donuts and the service completely make up for it and with a refresh, this place would be even more amazing!. Prices are very affordable, and we’re definitely coming back and spreading the word to friends and family. Trust me you will love it!

So nice we went twice. We’ve been living in Winter haven for the past three years and usually we drive out of the city to other areas like West Orlando for food since we’re such big foodies and we decided to try this on a whim because we always see it going to the Publix across the street and we’re blown away by the quality of the donuts. Not only are they ridiculously affordable. They are 1000 times better than Krispy Kreme. Highly recommend yes it looks super dingy outside, but the food is incredible. The staff is super friendly and the price is just right as listed includes tax.

My sister drove down to Miami to visit me and thank god all mighty she brought me a dozen! This was my 1st time having and I’m speechless! Glazed and sugar, now I can’t wait to try what ever else they make. I can’t imagine them fresh! Can’t wait to go up to winter heaven!!!

First time here & did not disappoint! Friendly staff & helped us pick out donut flavors since there were so many great kinds! Owner was sweet & gave us an extra free donut for my 4 yo daughter. Also only charged us $2 instead of $3 for the specialty donut of the day. It was very cute with edible butterflies on it! I didn’t take a photo because we devoured them on the go! Definitely worth the quick stop! Thanks for being so kind to us on our Christmas vacation!

Donuts are soft and they have a friendly staff. This place was packed both inside and drive thru so I had to check it out. Tomorrow I will try a breakfast sandwich.

AMAZINGGGGGGGG!!!!!🍩👌 Dont judge the outside appearance of the place. Its a hidden GEM. These are the BEST donuts I've ever had!!!! More options than the average donut place. Only $1.60/pc .Its a small business & they are FRESH & soft. I ordered 6 but came back the next day and ordered a dozen. Dont think about it! Go get some. They aren't overly sweet either. My husband doesn't eat sweets and he loved them. My little one also enjoyed them.

I decided to drive 20 minutes to come to Donut Man and it's always worth IT! The service is great and the donuts 🍩🍩 are soft and delicious 😋 Always fresh! Always a pleasure 😊

I come here when I crave a quick donut and coffee craving. any size coffee and any 1 pc donut is $2.50. The best selling is the glazed and apple fritter. I personally like the glazed donut with my cup of coffee / coconut cream milk. Staff here are down to earth and nice. This place is busy in the mornings especially the drive thru. They make a good business selling the breakfast sandwiches combos. They offer croissant / bagel and burrito breakfast options. The combos range from $6-7 ish price point. They make a donut called "Maple bacon" which is interesting. I think because of the bacon on top this is freshly made and an upcharge among the rest of the donuts. 6 donuts here will cost you $9 ish. The glazed donuts here are the best and they are not so sweet / fluffy and light dough. BETTER THAN KRISPY KREME!

When I moved to Florida in 2016 this was the first donut place I stopped at one day with my kids and what a nostalgic place full of everything yummy. The donuts are fresh and old fashion that don't have all the extra random toppings that can be stale in other places. The donuts are hands down the best ever. When you arrive there's a drive thru window on the side of the building and inside emulates an old feel diner like one in New York in 1984....ahh the memories. The staff are always friendly and eager to serve you donuts or hot food. The breakfast sandwiches that they offer are delicious and hot and fresh as well. Everything is a must try! Don't pass up the opportunity. My favorite donuts there are the blueberry, maple walnut, red velvet and chocolate glaze cake donut.

I was recently told about a spot called The Donut Man--and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Parking is a bit limited, but thankfully they have a convenient drive-thru. I decided to walk in, and the moment I opened the door, I was hit with that incredible, nostalgic smell of fresh, homemade donuts. The inside has a charming vintage vibe that adds to the experience. I ordered a dozen mixed donuts, but my personal favorite is the sugar donut. As I shared the box, everyone instantly gravitated toward the sugar ones--soft, clean-looking, and absolutely irresistible--leaving me with the rest of the mix! Throughout the day, I couldn't help but sample the remaining donuts, and they were all amazing. I ended up driving back the very next day from Orlando just to get another dozen and a half of sugar donuts just for myself . From vanilla and banana frostings to cherry-filled, glazed, and sprinkled varieties, every single one was a hit. On top of that, they also serve smoothies, hot breakfast items, and more. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area--great donuts, great vibes, and a menu that goes beyond the basics.

I can't believe I waited so long to stop by here. I got an assortment of 8 donuts so I could sample a number of them. Let me tell you some of my favorites the buttermilk cake, bear claw and apple fritter. The Boston creme gets an honorable mention. I've returned twice since trying these.

Donuts are fine. They taste fresh even at 1pm. Price is fine. Selection is pretty good but they are all the classic donut size. I wish they had some more exotic or fancy donuts. The staff were friendly. Inside is a bit small and reminds me of a Waffle House. Parking is small but every time I've been it's been adequate. Overall great donut place.

First time trying this place. The donuts we, my granddaughter and I, picked out were tasty. The wee one stated her selections were "more sugary" and have a thumbs up. The donut I had was soft, moist and flavorful. The wife was disappointed in the size of the apple fritter, but found it okay (she can be a fritter snob). The customer service was great, no issues there at all . We walked in, BTW. They have a drive thru too, which I thought was cool, and may have to try it one day if we know ahead of time what we want I suppose.

For somewhere so small, the drinks and donuts were insurmountably impressive. The donuts looked as good as they tasted. I was kinda shocked to see the presentation after seeing their pictures on yelp. Service was awesome as well everyone was super nice.

We were pumping gas next door and saw this little donut shop! My husband made a comment about it being a drive thru, and we decided to try it based on the other reviews! The donuts tasted fresh, and were delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised that at 8pm they still had everything except 2 kinds of donuts! The apple fritter was amazing, my kids enjoyed their usual chocolate rings and glazed were light, fluffy, and not too sweet! I tried the double Chocolate (cake) donut and it brought back childhood memories! Loved that it wasn't dipped in glaze first and then the chocolate! I find that version too sweet, so this was just right! Will definitely be back our next trip to Legoland!

Donuts are amazing only issue we run into is they open at 6 but the donuts are not all ready till around 8ish. If your open it would make sense to have everything ready for when you open. Otherwise I have never had a bad donut or breakfast from this place. 1000 percent with the trip also they are open later which is great.

It's literally the BEST I've EVER had. Ever. I'm a food snob, especially when it comes to sweet treats, and these simple glazed donut was so amazing I kinda wanted to cry.

You can't miss this place if you're driving down 17! It's not the prettiest building, but theres a reason they've been selling doughnuts for around 30 years. I ordered half a dozen to share for a pretty good price, its $1.50 for one doughnut, and the prices go up from there. They have a wide selection to choose from. The ones I tried were the bear claw, fruity pebbles, and apple fritter, and I picked some jelly filled ones for my family. The apple fritter was so good! I could definitely see myself picking it up for breakfast at their drive-through. The girls working the front were friendly and were helpful in sharing some recommendations. Like I said earlier, the building is old, but you'll be missing out if you let that stop you.

The place is clean. The staff were very friendly. My son and his family has recently gone Vegan. I didn't realize the extent until they brought their own food. I look up vegan bakery on Yelp and found this place. I want to get a donut for my granddaughter. She loved it. My son ate his but he said it felt like eating a cake instead of a donut. Well the mom ended of giving her donut to her daughter. I was sticker shock. These 3 donut cost me $16.50! Goodness! Vegan lifestyle is pricey but they seem to be happy. My granddaughter loves it.

So I looked up vegan in Winter Haven and this place came up as options. I walked in and I asked which ones were vegan and the guy says, "bacon"? lol no, vegan.... so he said ohh, we don't have vegan options. Turned right around and walked out. While this place definitely has the nostalgic vibe, it's also not very clean. Even my non-vegan husband didn't want anything. Hard pass.

I haven't tried many donut shops since moving from the West Coast. I admit. I was spoiled with Pinkbox Donuts in Vegas. So while in Winter Garden, I figured I'd stop by a local donut place. I love checking out Mom and pop shops as I find their donuts usually the best. After seeing The Donut Man on Yelp with the high reviews I figured I'd try them out. They have a makeshift drive thru window but you order at the window. Also, only two cars can fit safely in the line as it is next to the major street. I went in to get my donuts as to not cause a traffic jam. They have a lot of plain donuts and filled donuts. I got 10 which cost over $12 bucks. I didn't think that was too bad until I saw the size of the donuts. They were really small. The twist donuts were half the size of a usual twist donuts I typically get at a donut place or even the gas station donuts. Also, they were not fluffy at all. Not even doughy. The staff were patient and friendly but I don't think this is a spot I'd visit again.

My husband has been searching for 4 years here for his all time favorite donuts , powdered cream filled and Boston's custard filled donuts in Orlando. We've tried a lot of the recommendations but nothing has come close to his childhood old fashioned bakery memories or the famous one in South Jersey named McMillan's. ( unfortunately just closed too). Well we were in the neighborhood and I said this place has gotten some great reviews let's try it. Place looked a little sketchy, not easy to park. Good news is they have a drive thru!!!! What a find!!! My husband said it was the best one he's found in 4 yrs!! Worth the trip. So good that we went 2 weeks in a row!! I may be sorry lol due to weight gain and possible diabetes. But seeing the smile and joy on my husband's face was priceless!!! Great part ( I think lol) too is that they are open until 10 pm. My favorite is glazed i didnt love theirs but it was good. The second time we went I tried the sour cream glazed donut. Now that was delicious. The second day too. If anyone has other recommendations for their best really filled fresh cream doughnuts let me know. Enjoy!!

The donut man is worth the hype. The donuts are amazing! The staff was very helpful! We got a variety of donuts and they all were great.

DISGUSTING!!! I went with family that were from out of town and I was completely embarrassed!!!! While I was at the register picking out my donuts I see COCKROACHES WALKING ON THE DONUTS!!!!!!! When I tell the employee he looks at me and says "well don't get from that tray" ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

Old school Donut shop with a slight twist. The donuts don't look like your perfect Dunkin donuts, they are more like fitters. The taste is also unique, Delicious!!! They also make breakfast sandwiches, and a great Thai Tea I highly recommend. There's also some seating.

We ordered glazed, Boston cream, croissant donut, buttermilk, and powdered donut. The girl was kind enough to make a powdered one quickly since they didn't have any out. ALL DONUTS WERE DELICIOUS! They had a self serve coffee station. I got the hazelnut flavored coffee, it was good. I also got the bacon egg and cheese croissant . So good! I wish I lived close to this place. People were friendly.I can't forget to mention there is a drive thru.

A little bit of a hole in the wall but wow are the donuts good. Sam had two cake donuts, chocolate glazed and blueberry. Both soft AF and just the right amount of sweet. You know me only decadence. I had an eclair and an apple fitter. The Apple fritter was fluffy, a little abnormal but delicious. The eclair was filled with the right amount of cream. Good for a stop anytime of day.

Best freaking donuts ever! I tried them for the first time right before the hurricane, they were overwhelmed and bombarded with many people getting donuts right before we were hit with a severe hurricane.. I must say, I am so grateful for them to be open and servicing us, and I hope everyone treated them kindly and with respect. I will certainly be going back and giving them my business.

Stopped in today on a whim while passing through Winter Haven. The girl up front was very friendly and ready to serve us, but we explained we needed a moment as it was our first time. We ordered the red velvet and apple fritter. For $3, it was a steal! We tried them in the car and realized the girl had snuck in two glazed donuts in our bag without us knowing. It was very kind of her. We tried all 3 flavors and they all were delicious. Fluffy and just sweet enough without being overly sweet. The fritter had nice chunks of apple, the red velvet was deliciously chocolaty, and the glaze was a perfectly soft donut. Would definitely recommend!

Went in for a delicious donut this morning, and took a bite to find it tasted weird. Looked into and the donut is underbaked! Disappointing that a donut shop messed up their donut! I did also order a BEC croissant which was good. Staff was great, place was clean. 2 stars for the good sandwich.

Best damn creme filled creme puff I've ever had. I mean it. So light and fluffy. The creme fill is like eating a creme cloud! Glad I don't live nearby or I'd gain 150 pds and I'd be on insulin. Prices are very fair. I highly recommend!!!

So I decided to stop by the Donut Man and see what all the hype is about. When I first arrived, I could barely get into the narrow parking lot because the cars in the drive thru were blocking the way. Nothing you can do but wait your turn. Once I was able to park and get down, it looks a little run down, but you know what they say, the little hole in the wall establishments are usually the best. This one didn't stray from that assumption. A gentleman walked in behind me and shared his experience and how the shop has been around since he was a kid, how its delicious and it still calls his name. Lol... I decided to get a half dozen donuts to try at home (for $7 something). I got a strawberry fritter, apple fritter, glaze twist, regular chocolate, chocolate eclair and a powdered donut with cream in the center. My husband and I had our own little taste test and wow... they were all delicious, especially the fruit filled options. The powdered donut was the first to be tried and it had an amazing home made texture/taste to it. They were all soft and fresh and well... I won't be getting donuts at any other shops from now on. You get great taste at a good price from friendly faces.

These are some of the best doughnuts I've ever had. You can absolutely tell they are baked fresh! They are soft and just enough sugar. I live nowhere near there but we always make a trip to grab a dozen of the glazed! Try them! You will enjoy them!

So we were heading to Dunkin' when I saw this place. I prefer to try local when possible. I've never cared for cake donuts as I've found them to be dry. My boyfriend loves them and insisted I try his. Wow!!! Amazing. Everything we tried was wonderful. If you are in the area, definitely stop.
