The Donuttery is where diets go to die… and honestly, I’d happily attend my own funeral here. 😂 This place has the widest selection of donuts in Orange County, hands down. Rows and rows of classics, seasonal flavors, and a solid vegan section that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. Just look at those trays — it’s overwhelming in the best possible way. I grabbed a chocolate-covered buttermilk bar the size of my hand (see photo), and let’s just say it didn’t last long. The buttermilk bar alone could double as breakfast, lunch, and dessert. Everything tastes super fresh, and the variety means you’ll find something new every visit. Bonus: they’re open 24/7, so whether it’s a midnight craving or a morning sugar run, The Donuttery has you covered. Parking can be tight, but it’s worth a couple laps around the lot for donuts like these. If you’re in Huntington Beach and you skip this place, you’re doing it wrong.

Fantastic, my son introduced this place and told me: Dad this place is the best donuts ever. Boy let me tell you, he did not lie. Oh my goodness, the best donuts ever. You must try it, they have everything in the book, from traditional to vegan, gluten free, mochi and lot more. Not a joke one the best donuts I ever had. Extremely reach and taste. 10 out of 10

There was a line out the door when we went around lunch time on a Saturday. Glad we had called in advance to order our sandwiches. They have a big selection of donuts, including vegan donuts. We bought a dozen donuts and they were all delicious. The service was great too. The young man helping us was very patient. We had a hard time deciding what to get as everything looked so tasty. The sandwiches were huge! We ended up eating only half of the sandwiches and saving the rest for dinner. They were also very good. My favorite was The Club with the marbled bread. Very limited seating inside and a few small tables outside.

It's crazy that a donut shop is The best food I'll take it since I've been to California. There's only so much tacos that one can eat so the donut shop was a blessing and it's open 24 hours and is next to a 24-hour pizza spot so you can't really beat that. The service was amazing The donuts were creative and delicious and they make great photo ops

Found this place on beach blvd. Passed by it many times didn’t realize it was also vegan. There a is a great assortment of vegan donuts of every kind. Had a hard time choosing so many choices. They also have gluten free options. The taste was perfect not dry. Parking is a little tight. Price could be better but taste is great.

First time here and wow, where do I even start, they have a large variety of donuts to choose from, they all look appetizing and colorful. I got 2 donuts with pistachio filling, it was amazing, 2 normal blueberry donuts, and 1 donut with chocolate glaze and marshmallows on top, it was so good.

Love, love, love some donuts! I was pleasantly surprised by their hot chocolate -- they offer several different levels, which is such a fun touch. I went with the 70%, and it tasted like a rich dark chocolate without being too sweet, which I absolutely loved. It paired perfectly with my classic glazed donut (: Service was quick and easy, and they have such a great variety to choose from. Overall, a delicious and enjoyable experience!

I am a donut expert. I know my fried dough. The Donuttery checks all the boxes. This is not a corporate donut like Dunkin. This is a classic small business donut with personality, and creativity, and it will delight your sweet tooth. The parking is easy right on Beach Boulevard. The service is friendly and comprehensive. The coffee is tasty and hot, There is counter for a quick gulp and dunk. They make all the standard donuts but much better. They have gluten-free and vegan donuts. The creativity they display in their array of offerings is impressive. I promise you will find at least one donut that will surprise and delight you. My favorite is the cinnamon roll. came in the middle of the night and they were so kind to make sure that i got a fresh apple fritter rather than one that was sitting out for a while! both the apple fritter and crème brûlée donut were super fresh and still warm, which elevated the experience!! service was quick and super friendly. i love that they're open 24/7 so you can enjoy a sweet treat whenever :)

They have Vegan/ Gluten Free options! I tried the chocolate covered chocolate filled Vegan chocolate chip bar. ($4.95). (Not GF) I had at least an hour drive back home so in traffic you know I started enjoying this piece of heaven. Unfortunately I did not take a photo but it tastes better than it looks on the website. And it looks delicious. I rarely eat treats like this (like once a year) but when I do I am absolutely heading down to the Donuttery. Right on Beach Blvd in HB. Parking lot shared with other businesses. Helpful and friendly team. Busy location but you can get in and out fast. Stools and counter at window to eat in. They have a Donuttery food truck so maybe you can find them out and about.

They have all sorts of bomb doughnuts to choose from 24/7. Who doesn't want to grab a sweet treat after a sweet bar sesh at Johnnys with just a walk right up the way. The doughnuts are constantly fresh and delicious and everyone who works here is always nice!

It's very overwhelming coming here because there are SO MANY different kinds of doughnuts. They have your classics and then they offer gluten free options and different cake doughnut options. All the doughnuts are made well, moist, flavorful, just the right amount of sweetness. It's really exciting and easy to get more than you intended. The service is fast and the workers keep it moving. I've never waited long.

I've been here once and have managed to ask my coworker to get donuts from here for us another time! They open 24/7 and have fresh donuts pretty much 24/7 so it's easiest one of the most convenient place to grab donuts for your donuts cravings any time of the day! My coworker brought in donuts from here for us in the morning (he comes in the office at 7am) and they were good! I'm a fan of the old fashion cake donuts and they make decent ones here! With many flavors. It can be overwhelming if it's your first time and asking the staff for recommendation has not been helpful for me. Maybe it was just my one time experience on a Monday night around 730pm but, there seemed to be mostly high school or college students that were working? And the one helped me seriously had zero customer service that it was hilarious. I told her I'll get half dozen. And she placed each one in a paper bag. Rung me up and just stared at me and stared down at my 6 individually donuts in paper bag. Then I asked her do you have a box to put them in cuz I can't take all 6 of them like that. She said yes and still stared at me! I was like, okay are you going to give me the box. Took her a minute and she took a box from under the counter to give me and then proceeded to stare at me again. I placed all 6 of them in the box myself, out of the paper bag, and gave her back all the bags lol. Hope she won't reuse them on the next customer. Beside from the weird customer service, I like their cake donuts and the mochi donuts. I also like their vegan matcha donut a lot. My coworkers and I like the Boston cream and the ones here are not that good. They fill them with a more whipped cream fillings, white, and not the OG real custard cream. The malasadas were so so also. The pistachio and ube ones were meh I would not get it again.

Actual rating: 3.5 star. Location: is fare. Donuts: are good but not the best. Set-up: too many racks of choices is confusing and takes time to go through. This is my honest opinion as is just that. Although the doughnuts are good and the flavor is good their choices are too extensive. This over time leads to inconsistencies and imperfections in the sizes and with flavor and overall quality. I got a half dozen selection of my typical favorites. Anyway, not to be too judgmental, but I heard of nothing but good things about these do'nuts and my expectation was probably high already. I did enjoy one at the beach with a friend and later at home with my wife. Do, I drive all the way here and come back, probably not, they're plenty of doughnuts near me. We were not going to go to this place but we kept seeing so many people go in and out that we just had to try it. Plus (and bonus) they have gluten free donuts which are hard to find. They have a lot of donuts to choose from when you get in. The worker was great in explaining which ones were GF and which ones were not and very patient with use. I kept changing my mind! We just picked 7, 4 were GF, and 3 were regular. The gluten free donuts were so good! They were fluffy, moist, and flavorful! I was pleasantly surprised! The other donuts were just as good, I was told! If we are in the area again, I am definitely coming here for my donut fix!

Looks like a regular donut shop but once you enter, the service is smiling and there to listen and give suggestions, especially if it's your first time. I was there for the cronuts so they had three choices, I took one of each. There was chocolate, sugar and cinnamon and glazed. I liked the chocolate best but there were other opinions. Then they had malasadas in lots of flavors. I took Guava. It was delicious. Then I was told their blueberry donut was a favorite, so I tried one. It really was good. Then I tried some other of my favorites. All the donuts were delicious. If you like donuts, this is your go to place. I will be back!

I have been here a few times now the donuts are the best really fresh and taste great they have a large selection to choose from the employees are nice the inside is clean they're open 24 hours a day if you want a donut I would come here .

Heard lots of good reviews so I checked them out and I'm glad I did! I ordered the pistachio filled and ube filled malasadas, red velvet cake donut, and the strawberry nutella donut. The malasadas were the highlight of my order. Pillow soft, light, good filling to dough ratio, and so delicious! 10/10 The red velvet donut was okay, the base was dry and crumbly and it wasn't memorable. The cream cheese frosting on it was tasty but a little too sweet. 5/10 The strawberry Nutella donut was also just okay because it was filled with a very artificial tasting strawberry jam and had Nutella on top. The Nutella placement made it hard to eat as the donut kept sticking to the roof of my mouth and I didn't like how fake the strawberry filling tasted. 4/10 I would come back for the malasadas but skip the cake donuts and anything with jam filling.

We are new to this area, just moved to HB! After church this morning, we came here as our Sunday morning tradition (donut Sundays) and it is a very cool and busy place! Our only issue was that my husband's donut (chocolate bar) was not fully cooked.

It's been a while since my last visit here, but I was delighted to find that it's now open 24 hours. As I walked in, I was warmly greeted--what a nice surprise! The place was quite empty, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. When I approached the cashier, she asked politely what I needed. I requested a dozen of assorted items, and she was more than happy to assist me. These treats turned out to be a hit with my clients at work on a Friday evening, around 7:30. I'll be back

Be prepared, your head will spin with all the selections First off, you'll be blinded by all the pretty colors, but you need to keep your eyes on the prize Great free parking lot Friendly staff TONS of donuts (they also have things like banana bread and etc) and they have the biggest gluten free selection I've ever seen. Also, vegan donuts. And! It is open 24/7. No matter what time you are having a donut emergency, this place is waiting with open arms. They have a couple chairs in here and they also have beverages I tried to stay on course. I went with the Blueberry donut with icing Red velvet donut with icing Carrot cake donut with icing Maple bar with cream filling Banana bread (with nuts) A couple mochi donuts a pistachio filled donut. And then I stopped counting. But I walked away with a few more I know I need to live on the wild side and grab some I've never tasted before. They all looked soooooo GOOD! the glass case was so clean as well The workers here were so helpful at picking out ones for us. (We came in around 3 am after an ER visit) So, shout out to the great staff here. 5 stars This was a nostalgic visit. I've been coming here for over 10 years (again, do not try to do the math at my age) They had a tip jar and since we were asking them for suggestions and they were so lovely - AKA didn't act like we were bothering them. I gave them a nice tip Again, if you're gluten free or vegan, come give this place a try!

I grew up eating the Donuttery with my high school buddies and when my wife and I moved back to HB I was so glad my favorite donut shop was still cranking out tasty treats. I have tried most of their offerings, my go tos are the malasadas, apple fritters, and blueberry glazed donuts. Imo their "cake" donuts are far better than their standard donut offerings. Great family owned donut shop, highly recommend

It's bomb. I tried the blueberry donut and had them warm it up and it was amazing. I'm glad I only ordered one because I would've ate a whole box by myself. I'm interested in trying a new donut when I go but the blueberry was phenomenal. Parking was tight but it's worth it and if you can find a spot it's free.

Stopped by this donut shop in Huntington Beach. The customer service was okay--not the friendliest, but I think the staff were just trying to move quickly since there was a bit of a rush with people in front and behind us . I was glad to see they offer a variety of donuts for gluten-free and vegan customers, which is a nice option! The donuts all looked really good, but I played it safe and got an old-fashioned with white icing. It wasn't bad, just tasted like a regular old-fashioned donut. Overall, the experience was decent. Not the best donut shop I've been to, but not the worst either.

Food/drinks: my favorites are the blueberry donut (not too sweet, so perfect) and ube malasada. Apple fritter is too too sweet for me but that's personal preference Atmosphere: standard coffee shops and seems clean! Service: friendly service every time I've stopped by Price: as expected!

I've been coming here for years because of the great service and military discount. Tonight I brought a friend in to brag about the best donuts and was met with disrespect and attitude from newer employees. I just came in less than 2 weeks ago and got my usual military discount and today they told me they dont honor it as a new policy. The manager was not there tonight and Jayden gave me an attitude and was disrespectful saying she never gave a discount. This is a lie and will not be tolerated.

Just the best of the best! Every staff member knows the menu and ingredients well. They are all extremely friendly and welcoming. The shop is very clean, staff frequently step out from behind the counter to sweep and clean. For national donut day yesterday I got 6 free vegan donuts! This place has such a wide assortment of vegan donuts. The flavors are incredible. My favorites are the strawberry & chocolate ones.

Yummmmmmm....The best donut in town and ofcourse in OC..... The donutshop was very clean and well-maintained, with everything neat and organized. The customer service stood out as excellent, very friendly, and welcoming. And the donuts? They were absolutely packed with flavor, leaving a lasting impression that makes this spot worth visiting again.

If you are looking for some delicious, fresh, soft and pillowy donuts...look no further because this place is a gem! I found this on my way to work today and had to stop by to check it out. Once you step in, there are so many options of delicious donuts! They even got lots of gluten free options! I got a blueberry donut, regular glazed and an ube mochi donut. All was very good! Not too sweet, they don't over glaze it like some places. I could basically eat the whole thing! You can taste it very fresh and very soft. Highly recommend you try this place.

Came here for a night cap sweet treat after hitting up a taco stand, right after flying in from NorCal. The breadth of available donuts is going to stun anyone who walks in. I tried the blueberry donut by recommendation from a local friend who knows this place well and dang, was that one of the fluffiest and yet tastiest blueberry donuts I've had. We have yet to step foot in the establishment. We always order thru grub hub. However, I feel compelled to write this review. My husband is VERY picky about his food because of a medical condition. It's not about anything but taste. If it doesn't taste fresh, and 'just right' he won't eat it. He's especially picky when it comes to one of his favorite things: plain cake donuts. I just need to give this business at big THANK YOU for being so good. Your products are always fresh and seasoned just right. Also, as donuts can sometimes be, they are never greasy. We have an order at the door...gotta go

My friend surprised me and stopped and grabbed a vegan dozen this morning on his way to my place and I just had to come on yelp to rave about the vegan custard glazed raise donut. Oh my god it is orgasmic! I use to stop by this place often about a year ago and haven't been back since but I'm back babyy!!! More of my favorites are vegan blueberry, vegan cinnamon roll & vegan pb&j. No one would ever know any of those donuts are vegan. They're out of this world!

The Donnuttery never misses! Their donuts are always fresh, warm, and perfectly sweet. My absolute favorites are the chocolate chip bar and the sprinkles -- they're both so good it's hard to pick one. The best donut spot in the OC!!! I don't live near this place, but I'm always willing to make the drive because of how good it is. They have so many different options and flavors. I always get the vegan matcha tea cake because it's the best. My boyfriend also always gets the ube malasada, so I recommend that too. The service is great. There's never really a line when we go and the workers have always been super nice, There's some seating inside, but I'm usually just in and out.

I've been coming here for years when their boxes had their info just stamped on it and not printed. They may have changed their boxes and even did a remodel, but their donuts remained the same great quality throughout the years. They have so many flavors, but I always have to get at least one crème brule donut and a blueberry donut. I've come here time and time again and will continue to come even though it has become more busy and popular. I work in LA county and have driven here to the OC just to bring these donuts to work. They are open 24/7 and it'll be busy all hours. I love that for them. So if you have a donut craving at 3am they got you.

Honestly, the renovation for this location has changed quite a bit since when I last came here 10-15 years ago when I was still a Marina High Student. I was happy to see it still here. When I was a high school student, it was the talk of town -- although I felt like it was basic at best. Coming back here later as an adult, it was a bit nostalgic. I am happy to see that everything is indoor now. It used to be, we ordered from the outside and they would serve us from inside. It is very fancy, modern, and clean in there. It had great A/C. The employee that was working there, Nicole, had great customer service. She was also a fellow alumni, recently graduated from MHS as well. Nicole took her time explaining donuts to me while being patient. She is a great example of a great worker. Sadly, all great things end here. I am here for the taste of the donuts and thus, I ordered a glazed donut and a french cruller. The glazed donut tasted pretty mid as the new generations might said. It is fairly regular and nothing pops out at you. The pink dipped French Cruller was even worse. I couldn't finish it. I couldn't get over the texture with everything being so soft and chewy; with the pink glaze not really setting, thus coating everything from your fingers to your face. I would give the glazed donut a 2 star and the french cruller, a 1 star. As much as I wanted to "glaze" this place up, it still tasted like what I had 10-15 years ago. I still do not understand the hype. 2 stars instead of 1 star for the renovation and great customer service.

WOW. After a late-night dinner at Pho Lu, my friend recommended us to go here for a little sweet treat. Another friend introduced him to this fine establishment a few weeks back and he introduced it to me last night. OPEN?! 24/7 AMAZING. We arrived around 1:30am or so and I WAS IN AWE at all the donuts they offer. They even offer a reasonable assortment of gluten free options and keto donuts! GILBERTO WAS OUTSTANDING. He made us the most amazing ICED VANILLA LAVENDER LATTE. I got a dozen donuts which included: Carrot Cake, Red Velvet, Birthday, Creme Brûlée, Blueberry, Apple Fritter, Ube + Pistachio Malasadas, Salted Caramel, Maple Old Fashioned, Churro. I also got a two cookies and a blueberry danish. My family and I devoured the rest this morning and have no regrets (though the amount of sugar I ingested was diabolical). DELICIOUS DONUTS,TOP TIER SERVICE. I loved the casual coziness of the donut shop.

Back in HB and had to have my Donuttery Fix! New and Must Try- Pistachio Malasadas!!! OMG the tang of that pillowy sourdough casing is the perfect complement to the luscious Pistachio filling that hits all the right notes without being too sweet! I'd have to give it "perfect bite" status!! Of course I plan to stock up on Guava Malasadas before traveling back to Ventura because I can't resist the floral notes of the guava filing and this time I'll do a 50/50 order. As part of my HB stay, I'm replanning breakfast so I added the chocolate old fashion and lemon frosted blueberry to my donut box of goodness. Splurge!!

You had me at ube cream malasadas. Malasadas and mochi donuts are awesome, and standard donuts are great too. I'm partial to the cruller and the strawberry. Nice and helpful staff. So many donuts to choose from from the case to the racks, hard to make a decision lol

The first few times my fiancé and I tried this place we simply couldn't get enough but the past few times we haven't really been satisfied. I do enjoy a donut shop that offers an array of flavors but perhaps this place is offering too many flavors. I feel like I'm the only one to say this but trimming down the menu and focusing on making phenomenal donuts might help. Like I had said, the first few times we went the donuts were absolutely delicious and we were left craving more but just recently this passed weekend, we took our nieces and aside from the ube donut (they make the best ube donut) and the maple bar, all the other donuts just lacked. They tasted fake and overly flavored as if they used extracts instead of real ingredients and we just ended up throwing them away. Perhaps we've just gone on off days or our palettes had changed but when the kiddos don't even like them, that's saying something. We will continue to give this place a try because of those ones they hit the mark on and hopefully we'll find some other delicious ones in the process.

This is my go-to donut shop for delicious and affordable baked goods. We typically grab a dozen before hitting the beach and snack throughout the day. My favorites are their blueberry donuts, chocolate devil cake, and the maple bar. Pro tip is to cut them into bite sized pieces so you can have a little bit of everything! The bakery is always well stocked and fills up throughout the day, you'll always find fresh donuts available.

Am I ever disappointed? Open 24/7 and I chose a time when I was the first person in line outside of the door on a cold day. While the party two groups ahead of us ordered a lot and took their time, the line still moved relatively fast. They appeared to be out of ube malasadas but when I asked the man helping me, they had more in the back (bonus: FRESHER ones)!! I got one blueberry, one ube malasada, and one custard crème brûlée per his recommendation. So delish.

We love Sidecar not because we enjoy every donut they make, but because even the ones that aren't our favorites still earn our appreciation. Whether it's their fluffy textures, creative ingredient choices, or well balanced sweetness, there's always something to appreciate. We recently picked up five donuts from Donuttery based on recommendations: a maple bar, blueberry, apple fritter, vanilla bean malasada, and ube malasada. Unfortunately, none of them were memorable. The ube malasada was missing its filling, the apple fritter was overly fried with barely any apple, and overall, the donuts lacked both fluffiness and balance in sweetness. Amazing. So many options to choose from! Ive stopped by multiple times a month since learning about this place. They have THE BEST vegan donuts ever! Great gluten free donuts too! And on weekends they offer not only vegan or only GF but vegan AND gluten donuts, super rare to come by. (And they're SUPER GOOD) Staff is always nice, if lines are long they go by quick and there's always been plenty of parking the times I've gone.

Saw this place on uber eats with cheap delivery. I love donuts I am not that picky nor do I ever leave reviews. Worst donuts Ive had in my life. Every donut i got was atleast 24 hours old and I ordered them at 7am. The devils food and blueberry cake were the only edible donuts, Id compare them to an oldish donut youd grab at a grocery store. The churro was the worst it was hard and dry. The strawberry french crueller was fresh these donuts do last longer but the frosting was terrible tasting. Pink french cruellers are my #1 donut at other places. The creme brulee donut Id bet is amazing fresh but it was also inedible the top being hard matched with the old donut. Coffee was weak and didnt include cream or surgar(no option on uber eats either). Each donut was 3$ too luckily i got a refund through Uber. If youre looking for amazing donuts in HB the place on magnolia and adams is great. Their donuts are fresh every morning and id take a donut from there later in the day over anything i got from the donuttery.

The Brown Sugar Vegan Donut was surprisingly good! It was softer and fluffier than expected. The lady said this was one of their top sellers and I can see why. I've had a bunch of donuts from The Donuttery over the years and you cannot go wrong with any of their options. Decided to try this one because a friend brought it over to me. I'm happy and grateful that they did! Wouldn't mind getting this one again. Oh did I mention it's square shaped? lol

I'm not one to enjoy fried sweets but the vegan raised coconut donut was an A+! It's the donut is airy and not too greasy and the coconut flavor was light. I also enjoyed the mango lychee mochi donut. Price range from $5-7 a piece.

One of my favorite donut shops in SoCal. They are open late, have a ton of options, and delicious. Been going to them for a few years and they never disappoint. This visit we got apple fritters (2), chocolate cake donut, guava malasada (guava jelly filled), almond croissant, chocolate old fashioned donut. Service is always fast, cozy shop with no indoor seating. Good donuts, lots of options just not your local spot prices is my only beef with this place.
