The Doolhof Country House

Doolhof is the perfect blend of luxury and countryside charm. Staying in the Manor House was an exceptional experience – beautifully decorated, elegant yet welcoming. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. Surrounded by vineyards and mountains, we enjoyed incredible wines, delicious meals, and the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. Every detail, from the décor to the food, was thoughtfully curated. It’s the ideal escape for anyone looking to relax in style while soaking up the best of the Winelands. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely setting Nestled between the Limietberg and Groenberg. So spectacular to be amongst the mountains. Luxurious living in a beautiful setting. It is so quiet and tranquil. We relaxed and enjoyed our stay on the Doolhof Farm.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at The Doolhof, and it really doesn’t disappoint, in fact the house has been updated since our last visit. Super comfy beds, quality linens, dark and quiet nights, elegant surroundings, nice walks around the streams and vines, wine tasting, a good next door lunch restaurant, and great service. If I had one small gripe it would be that the food offer needs to evolve. Tough call for such a small place, but choice and quality is important when staying at such a refined place. Small price to pay for the chance to stay at such a beautiful place, and I will watch closely for further enhancements.

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the wonderful Doolhof hotel (originally booked for 2 and loved it so much we had to stay an extra night). The hotel is stunning in every way. A fabulous location and a beautiful old farmhouse with exceptionally comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as was the wine. Walking and cycling trails from the door. We will return

This piece of paradise is down a gravel road but so worth the trip. We stayed I the cottage, beautifully decorated over looking the paddock with ponies and horses.||Wine tasting included for guests with knowledgeable staff. 3 course dinner served on the balcony.||Breakfast alfresco too, with buffet and hot courses.||All of the staff were lovely, and a huge thank you to Krista for looking after us. We'll definitely come.back

The house is stunning and the rooms beautiful to a very high standard. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. We had a lovely meal there too.
