I had a wonderful stay at The Dorian Calgary. The staff were consistently friendly and professional, making me feel genuinely welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and clearly well maintained. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with great variety and quality. I also appreciated the high-end bath products, which smelled lovely and added a nice touch of luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with premium bedding that made for a restful sleep. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, style, and top-notch service in Calgary.

Stayed in 1814 for two nights. Free upgrade. Awesome desk staff (not just for the upgrade, ha). Room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. No outside noise. The bathroom was amazing and the pressure from the manual/hand shower was powerful. You will appreciate this hotel (and your room) a bit more if you have read A Picture of Dorian Gray (there is a copy on the nightstand!).

My husband and I had an absolutely AMAZING stay at The Dorian. From the moment we arrived, all the staff made us feel so welcome everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The room was beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Luxurious & comfortable, and the bed was also great. Truly one of the best experiences we have ever had. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Calgary!

We loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!

My fiancé attended her company Christmas party at The Wilde and so we decided to stay overnight and we’re so glad that we did. ||The room was cozy and very comfortable. A perfect place to unwind. We also enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Everything was delicious and prepared thoughtfully.||What made it remarkable was the exceptional service from Red at Reception. His professionalism, sense of humour and attention to details were truly top notch and were the cherry on top of an already wonderful experience. ||Highly recommended!

I had a great stay at The Dorian Hotel in Calgary, largely thanks to the outstanding customer service. A special mention goes to Jamie, the Assistant Front Desk Manager, and his team, who handled an unexpected water leakage issue from the room above us with exceptional professionalism. The room move was smooth, and they made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for throughout what could have been an inconvenience. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the gym, and as an elite member I really enjoyed the à la carte breakfast served in the restaurant, which was a lovely touch. Overall, fantastic service and a hotel I would gladly recommend and return to.

My work colleagues and I stayed at the Dorian for three nights while we were in Calgary. We had an absolutely fantastic experience. The rooms were beautifully decorated and homie. The gym was very well equipped, clean and modern. Most of all the hotel staff was so friendly and welcoming. I especially have to recognize Shayeen who served us breakfast all three mornings. She welcomed us with a smile and introduced herself and asked for all of our names which she called us by for the remainder of the trip. She helped us to find collaborative work spaces when we were not in meetings and always insured. We had plenty of water and coffee.I can’t remember the last time I’ve had such an incredible customer service experience.

I rarely write reviews, but when I do, it’s because the experience left a strong impression. In this case, Cedric the valet is the reason I’m writing. We just checked out, so everything is fresh in our minds. He made our 4-day, 3-night stay memorable with how warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive he was from the moment we arrived. His professionalism, communication, and overall guest service were noticeably better than every receptionist we dealt with during our stay. Honestly, Cedric should be working at the front desk — or in an even more guest-facing role — because he outperformed the staff who were actually in those positions. He is a true asset to this hotel and the standout of our entire stay.
