A College Student’s Guide to Campus Dining at the University of Oregon | Eater Portland

"On Hilyard Street, The Dough Co. is the late-night savior near campus — open for takeout until 3 a.m. seven days a week — specializing in calzones (over 30 fillings, with the original three-cheese a crowd favorite) and warm cookies, and it’s often full of drunk college students if you eat in." - Meaghan FitzPatrick

First tried this place when we were crashing with some friends on our way through Springfield, and loved the food. When we moved up, we learned we were within walking distance and Dough Co became a lifeline for me while my partner was in the hospital and during his recovery dur to their hours. Even though we wound up moving a few miles away earlier this year, we still grab calzones and cookies whenever we get the chance. :D The food's always been super tasty and filling, portions are BEEG (I normally save half for later), and their cookies have always hit the spot during late night shifts.

I loved this place. It's locally owned and you can really tell. Their calzones are quality and their cookies are thin but taste fantastic. I would heavily recommend this place.

Love. Chocolate chip cookies are amazing! BBQ chicken is my favorite calzone. App is easy to use.

Every time I place an order The Dough Co. doesn't disappoint! I use DoorDash so I am not familiar with their atmosphere or culture but the quality of their food is always consistent and outstanding. Don't forget to order the cookies along with your calzones. You won't be sorry! Go NOW! :)

Tried this gem for the first time today. Ordered the Chicken Bomb Calzone without the peppers and added pesto, along with some cookies. Not only were the cookies still warm when I got them but the food was delicious! You can tell it's fresh food. Next time, I'll go in to experience it in person :)

It's been awhile since I've had Dough co. I used to get it semi-regularly when I worked on campus. I had to drive that way this evening and the craving hit me so I ordered it for my family. It was better then I remembered and my husband, my 2 boys and my dad have never tried it. They all loved it and my youngest son (3 yo) kept saying "Momma this delicious! I love it." 10/10 Food great, staff and service great, atmosphere is perfect for the campus location but would be pretty tough to do a large family sit down. We did take out so it was fine. We got the Roni, Hawaiian, Steak bomb, and Combo. All got great reviews! Thw marinara sauce is **Chefs kiss!**(The cookies are delicious too but I didn't happen to get any this trip)

First time customer to life long calzone lover after one visit. The cheese bomb was nuclear! We ordered online through the website. Super easy and they offer a new customer deal that sweetens that warm calzone goodness. I love this place and I’m gonna spread my love far and wide. Side note, marinara is made right for your dipping pleasure…. I got two 😂. Great staff, order completed on time, and they are open late. Sounds like a dream, but it’s real folks. Get some!

Everything is good at the Dough Co; I just don’t understand why ordering through the app adds $3.50 service fee?!! So 2 calzones, 4 cookies and a $7 tip was $44! It’s just so much easier to order through the app, uses less humans and I way prefer it. I was just shocked at the total- maybe it’s the $24/4 cookies that has me stunned. There’s no question they are warm and delicious…maybe I’m just old and need to get used to how outrageous food costs have become. Anyway, we often spend close to $50 for far less satisfying dinner. Dough Co is consistently tasty, filling and on point. It’s hot, quality ingredients and always on time.
