"Savory and sweet Egyptian pies fashioned from feteer are the star performers at the Dough Show, where the dough maestro twirls and tosses the gossamer thin sheets over his head before layering everything from house-brined and cured pastrami to kiri cheese to mixed shawarma." - Faiyaz Kara

I recently visited The Dough Show in Orlando and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made it perfect for a casual yet satisfying meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. We started with the Mixed Appetizer, which featured six different salads: hummus, tabbouleh, tzatziki, coleslaw, and babagjanouj. Each one was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced, offering a perfect introduction to the meal. For the main course, we tried the Mixed Grill a generous platter that included chicken kebab, chicken kofta, lamb kebab, and meat kebab. Every piece was grilled to perfection, juicy and seasoned just right. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Mixed Meat with Special Crown. This dish came topped with egg, vegetables, and melted mozzarella cheese, creating a rich, savory combination that was both unique and delicious. To finish, we had the Dubai Chocolate Pie for dessert. It was indulgent and full of flavor, the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Exciting news for Tampa residents The Dough Show is opening a new location there soon, so you’ll be able to enjoy this delicious Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine closer to home. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area!

Google
So happy to find a place where the food & service are both great!! First time going in so I tried the chicken kebab wrap combo, my vegan fiance got the falafel wrap...next time I want to try their Oriental Pie (Egyptian Pizza 😋). All the staff were welcoming and friendly!! The guy at the register (sorry, forgot his name...he is Egyptian) he has A+++ customer service!!! 👍👍👍 I don't live locally but I will definitely be stopping be whenever I'm in the area!!

Google
The Dough Show was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The customer service was top notch. The atmosphere was very clean. I made a new friend Gilbert who continuously checked on us and made our experience even better. We had the Dough Show and it was SOOOO Good. We also had the hummus which was also very good. Go to Dough show you won't regret it.

Google
The Dough Show is a beautiful, clean, modern eatery where you can watch your food being made. The workers were very helpful and attentive with great recommendations. I decided to try the dough show Egyptian pie and the mixed appetizer assortment. The pie was flaky, crispy, hot, melty and so delicious! I enjoyed the white sauce with it but their spicy sauce I asked for was the perfect condiment to kick it up a notch. The mixed appetizers were fresh, paired perfectly with the pie so each bite was a unique experience of condiment combinations. Gilbert was welcoming and very helpful! I would love to come back and try a variety of their other dishes. The two items could have easily fed 4 people! I wish I had tried the om Ali dessert but I’ll have to come back for it another time. There’s lots of parking in the strip mall and shade on half the spots.

We had an amazing dinner at dough show we had the Beef shawarma pie , lentil soup and a really delicious and refreshing mint/lime fresh juice. Just watching the pies made is such a great entertainment. Love the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. You can not go wrong.

Absolutely One of the Best Restaurants in Orlando! We came to Orlando from St. Louis, Missouri, and have spent the past four days dining at some of the most talked-about restaurants in town. But this restaurant truly stood out in every way. The food was beyond delicious — every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The appetizers and desserts? Out of this world! We were honestly blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel instantly comfortable. What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality. The restaurant manager was not only highly professional and attentive, but also incredibly kind and welcoming. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really set this place apart. And the prices? Extremely reasonable for the outstanding quality and service you receive. This restaurant isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy this hidden gem!

GREAT FOOD, completely different and tasty. Please go try it. An awesome table service by Gilbert (he speaks English and Spanish) the price was fair and we’ll definitely coming back soon. We tried the falafel, the dough show oriental pie, the beef shawarma wraps and baklava for dessert. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
A unique and delicious experience. We ordered a couple items to split and we enjoyed both! The falafel was one of the best I've had, and the feteer was a first time for us, but not our last! Flaky and delicious.

Yelp
I don't usually get to say this much, but as an Egyptian foodie, I usually find it very hard to find authentic and good Arabic food... let alone Egyptian food. However, The Dough Show is one of the first to make this list!!!! The "fiteer" or pies here took me back as if I was sitting back in Egypt enjoying these by the Mediterranean Sea as I did as a kid. We tried a combination of a few different pies, including the sausage, pastrami, the roomi cheese, and the sugar sweet pie. All were magnificent! Very tasty and savory for all three of the savory pies, the roomi cheese was authentic as well. The service was good despite it being busy on a Sunday afternoon. The chef Ahmed making the pies was very friendly as wel The star of the show for me was the "basterma" or pastrami, which is which I found out is actually made in house by The Dough Show!! It was fantabulous! The sugar pie was also delicious, and tasted just like the one I would have back home. Can't say enough about this place and, and you already know that I will be back here for more! Looking forward to the next visit and trying more flavors!

Yelp
I got the chicken kofta wrap ($11.99) and the fries and drink combo ($5.99). The price is too high ($total was $19.15) for the small amount of food you get. It is not even free refills. There are cheaper and more filling lunch options elsewhere. I would try the bowl instead next time. It is a nice venue at least.

Yelp
Pros: Very unique stuff! Never seen a thing like this before in Orlando. Not only did it look cool, it tasted very good. Very good amount of fillings inside, very good size of the slices for easy eating, and very good seasoning and flavor. The inside of the place is very festive, and that pizza oven is a good centerpiece to the whole thing. Service was very good. The nice man helped us figure out what to order. Cons: No cons! I will say that the meal was very greasy, so be forewarned if that doesn't appeal to you. But all the best food is, isn't it? Tips: Get a pizza. Get two pizzas. Either are good. The mincemeat was surprisingly good to me.

Yelp
There is plenty of parking outside. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's located right outside of the UCF campus. You can walk in and order at the register. There are plenty of options to choose from. They have some menu items only served from 12-5 Monday-Friday. We had a large chicken pie $34, a regular beef pie $16, chicken shawarma platter $17, and a mixed grilled platter. Everything was pretty good. The food came out fairly quickly. My favorites were the beef pie and mixed meat platter.

Yelp
The hype around this place really exploded when it opened. The pizza oven, the man twirling the dough around like a juggler, the great look and crisp of the actual pie, it was a recipe for success. I needed a place to have dinner at, this place crossed my mind, and I am very glad that I did. The location is perfect. Right outside of UCF by all the hustle and bustle, probably gets a lot of good traffic from the kids. Right on the corner lot of a strip mall, lots of good parking, and a huge dining room within. A nice open kitchen with that beautiful pizza oven being the centerpiece. Service was great. It's counter service, so I didn't have a ton of interaction with them, but they were nice and helped me choose what to get. What did I get? I got an order of the Falafel and two Oriental Pies, one Chicken Shawarma and one Minced Meat. The falafel was excellent. They were all uniform, cooked evenly, and had a delightful, crispy exterior. I love falafel so much. This was a good one. As for the pies, they were just lovely. All your toppings are contained within a top and bottom layer of phyllo. Cut into 16 pieces. Served piping hot. The chicken shawarma was packed with veggies and well-cut, delicious juicy chicken. Also packed with flavor. Really unlike anything I've ever had before. A really fun treat. And minced meat was good, too. A finer meat filling, also packed with veggies. Starkly different from the chicken one. I really enjoyed my experience here, and I now have to come back and try all of the oriental pies they offer!

Yelp
This was my first visit to this restaurant and it was busy for a Monday night. We ordered the mixed shawarma pie. It came with a combo of chicken and beef shawarma meat, green peppers, onions, black olives, and cheese. Garlic sauce accompanied the pizza. The service was quick and the food was really good. I am only giving 4 stars because the bathrooms were icky and you definitely need to wash your hands after eating this.

Yelp
I loved the chicken and fries. Customer service was lacking. I felt ignored by everyone behind the counter when waiting to order. No one acknowledged me at all for a while. I didn't like the hummus because of the texture and lack of flavor. The flat bread was really cold.

Yelp
I've never been more upset to hear of people doing destruction to such a beautiful family restaurant. The food here is outstanding and it may take a bit longer for your meal, but it's absolutely worth the wait. The food is such a quality dish with the love of the built in and emphasized through their cultural and unique flavors. Don't shy away from this spot - it is worth every penny and every second. They are truly wonderful.

Yelp
I was looking forward to this place. I kept hearing great things from a number of people. So while I was in town, I stopped by. I came in very excited. I left very very upset and disappointed. Pricing: I ordered 1 zaatar and 1 meat manoushe, 1 beef shawarma wrap combo, 1 chicken shawarma wrap, and a kabob platter. Almost $80. Pricing was a little on the higher end in my opinion. Salt: the food lacks salt!! Garlic : this was themost disappointing garlic dip I have ever tried. Tasted like straight up cream with an essence of garlic. This can't be garlic! Time: I had no issue with time. I have read reviews of long wait times, but thankfully I came at a decent time (11AMish?) and people started rolling in after. Shawarma: I enjoyed my beef shawarma. Didn't care for the chicken much and after realizing the garlic didn't taste like garlic, I now know why. Server: I'm not sure if he really was the security guard or the actual server just wearing a shirt that said in big bold letters across the back, but I may have been served by their security?? Lol Cleanliness : This is what really really upset me and I informed Ahmed, the owner who is the older gentleman in the photo who is in the hat working on the dough. His other employee (Ali) was also working on the dough. They don't use gloves. That's not an issue as long as they wash their hands properly. However, Ali was doing so many other things with his bare hands and not washing them when he'd resume kneading the dough. I observed the following: wiping his sweat with a napkin; scratching his face: handling other matters such as moving boxes and touching other things in the kitchen, using his phone. When I saw that he didn't wash his hands at least once when doing these things, I felt too upset to stay sitting and watching further. I immediately informed Ahmed. He tried to almost change the subject and tell me they'll be opening a location soon in Miami (I told him I'm visiting) and told him that's not my concern. I wanted him to address his employee's horrible hand hygiene. He then addressed Ali. I left right after. I will not be returning.

Yelp
It was my family and I's first time and everything we had was fantastic! The chicken and lamb were seasoned very well and the prices are reasonable. The beef pie was so flavorful and very filling for the regular size which can be shared. I had the strawberry and banana with milk drink and it was tasty and had a milkshake consistency. Finally the lotus pistachio dessert is a must try as it is made with Bischoff and pistachio which was a perfect size for all 5 of us after eating our meals. The cashiers and workers were very kind and welcoming and explained the menu and items if needed. The restaurant itself was very clean and bright with lots of seating available. I will be going back to eat here again and also try different items as well!

Yelp
Very pleasantly surprised. . . i kept hearing great things about The Dough Show and finally made it over there today. Loved the concept, loved the service, the food was very fresh and creative from our perspective. It was busy when we arrived and my intent was to get a small pie to try, but a couple of very large parties that had just placed large orders would delay my order by about 30 minutes so I went for a Make Your Own Bowl with Romaine, Chicken Kofta, Hummis, Cucumber, Sumac Onions, pickles (which are wow), and Babaganouj topped with their Garlic sauce. Great flavor profile, combination, and super fresh. I've never had Chicken Kofta but i will get this all day long from here on out. My lunch parter had a Chicken Shawarma platter/bowl which was also very very good. All the sauces that come on the side were very very creamy with great flavor. We ordered at the counter, seated ourselves and maybe had to wait 5-10 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. Sodas and waters are bottled which is fine and the environment was clean. We will definitely be revisiting again in the near future. Give it a whirl!

Yelp
My first visit to this establishment (which was prior to the expansion for juice) was spectacular. The warm welcome that was expressed truly made a lasting impression. My shawarma and dessert pie (a flavor adventure) were delicious. The portions were more than enough. Upon my second visit (post expansion), I wanted to try something different. I went with a bowl, which for the price was a disappointment. The Babaghanoj is very good, though. Also, less friendly service in comparison to my earlier experience. I will definitely go back and recommend to others. My advice: if dough is in the name, it is best to stick with menu items consisting of that. They do put on a show making it.
google avatar

Aminah K.

Yelp
The mixed shawarma pie was so delicious! The regular size was big enough for 2 people at least. The dough is so light and has such an interesting texture. The filling was so cheesy and flavorful. We got our order to go but the inside space was nice. Staff was super friendly.
google avatar

Angela Y.

Yelp
Counter-service style restaurant that was nice and bright inside. We ordered the regular size mixed cheese Oriental pie and a falafel wrap as well as a sugarcane juice. Staff was very nice and even though they gave us beepers, there was someone that would bring us the food to our table once our beepers went off. That was a little confusing though because the beeper would go off for every item, rather than one time when all the food was ready. Mixed Cheese Oriental Pie: the regular size was definitely more than enough to share. My gf and I ate a little less than half of the pizza and were full. The mixed cheese pizza has a creamy flavor and the outside has a flaky soft crust, similar to the texture of baklava but obviously not sweet. The texture and style of the pizza was quite fun, the cheese got to be a little much for me but my gf thoroughly enjoyed the creaminess of the cheese. 8/10 Falafel wrap: a little thrown when we got it. They give it to you upright (vertical) because at the opening of the wrap, there is a glob of hummus drizzled in balsamic vinegar. I personally did not like the sweetness of the balsamic but it wasn't too bad. The falafel is nice and moist, great texture. 8/10 Sugarcane juice: not bad, could be a little sweeter. Also the portion is a little small given the price but it is a rarer commodity I suppose Overall, the inside is nice, the staff are polite and the food is quite good and unique. There is quite a bit of a wait for the food though, be warned. It took us maybe 10-15 mins to get our pizza and then another 10-15 minutes after that to get our wrap. Ambience: 8/10 Taste: 9/10 Price: 7/10

Yelp
I recently visited The Dough Show after an event on the UCF campus. This was the first time I have ever visited and the place was packed for a Saturday night. Apparently, the restaurant is best known for their Oriental Pies so I wanted to order one. After waiting about 20 to 30 minutes in line, I was told the wait was going to be over an hour for the pie. Disappointed that I did not have additional time to wait on this particular evening, I ordered the Beef Shawarma Wrap instead. The wrap was lightly toasted and filled with tender meat and a creamy sauce. A good wrap but not worth waiting 20 to 30 minutes in line for. I do plan on visiting again when I have more time for an Oriental Pie.

Yelp
Spectacular menu, fresh as ever pies... clearly. A much needed Arabic addition to the UCF area. I think the only downfall of this restaurant right now is the hype, which is good for business! My friends drove about an hour to meet me here so we didn't hold back. Unfortunately, for a Friday at 6pm the place was packed! Probably not unfortunate to the owners BUT for us it was a 45 min wait for pies, which we still ordered. I ordered a large shawarma pie and to be honest it's not much bigger than the regular size so unless you're STARVING I'd go with a regular size. The drink orders are made in the little juice bar area and the guy there was so accommodating! I usually like my Turkish coffee with one sugar cube but didn't realize I had to order it like that from the register, he offered so kindly to make me a new one but I was totally okay with just a regular on this occasion. I enjoyed all the food, esp the soup! I'm not the biggest pastrami fan and I think that ties more into a NY/Egyptian thing so I'd go for generic shawarma next time. My only solid advice is to get the pistachio Nutella pie ... *drools* I have dreams about it ....

Yelp
So this place is really out-of-the-way for me but it's been on my list forever to try because coming from a city that has really good Shawarma and Middle Eastern food I have yet to find something comparable here in Orlando. Since I was in the neighborhood only a few minutes away, I decided to stop in on a random Tuesday night. The place was empty. There was a table of guys outside, drinking tea and playing games. It reminded me of a traditional Middle Eastern restaurant back home. The food is authentic everything is freshly made right in front of you and delicious. There is an xl connect four outside if you come during the day and want to sit and play. The guy running the place let me try the lentil soup, which was yummy and warm on a cool evening. We ordered the Shawarma pie, which I was a little disappointed that they didn't take the Shawarma off the spit. They already had it pre-cut in the pizza making section. Watching the guy stretch the dough is an art in itself which was really cool and entertaining for the children. The pie has olives and green peppers which lends a very unique flavor to this type of meal. I also got a mixed platter of the cold appetizers, so baba ghanoush hummus, so sort of yogurt dip I'm guessing Lebanah and some tabouli. Everything was fresh and delicious. Got home and devoured the pie it was amazing and the garlic sauce they give on the side was soo good will definitely ask for two next time.

Yelp
This place was five out of five from the service, the cleaning list to the freshen of the food. 5/5 - beef and chess pie - the crust was crispy the cheese was melted was cooked quick and more than what I expected it to 5/5 chicken Shawarma roll served with crispy fries 10000/5 - the Alexandria dessert pie was delicious so I say grab your mom grab your kids grab your cousins and your neighbors and come try it because 10 out of 10 would have it again 1000 out of 10 it was delicious The man that was taking our orders when we came in, gave great suggestions and was patient even though there was a ton of people in line while we were eating, he came by to check to see how we liked it, and he suggested a dessert, which was the Alexandria I tried it and it was out of this world delicious

Yelp
With food inspirations coming from Syria, Egypt, and Turkey, I promise you that you haven't had these flavor combinations before. From the creative pizzas, to meat platters, to dessert pies, to fresh juices -- the Dough Show must move to the very top of your list. The hummus and lentil soup alone is worth the trip over to the UCF area.
google avatar

Yelp
The Dough Show offers fresh Mediterranean fare, but with caveats. While the chicken kofta is flavorful, it's overpriced around $12 and was finished in 5 bites. The beef shawarma lacks protein despite its pleasant flakiness. Busy periods mean long waits, sometimes over 30 minutes for shawarma though. Would still recommend to try this restaurant at least once because of its unique cuisine
google avatar

Yelp
These guys are the real deal. Friendly service, extensive menu all made in house from scratch, and exceptional flavors. They just expanded so go show them some love. Our favorites: Lamb Kofta Platter, Dough Show Pie and the Baba Ganoush

Yelp
First time visit! I had seen videos on instagram and was excited to check this spot out! We came on a Saturday around 5:30pm. This place was busy the entire time we were there. It is located at the end of a shopping plaza. You order at the counter. The staff are friendly and helpful. Beverages are located in a cooler consisting of various sodas and bottled waters. We chose the mixed appetizer platter $13.99 that is served with pita. We also ordered the Chicken Shawarma Oriental Pie $14.99. It is large enough to share with someone. We were told that there would be a 30-35min wait for the pie because they were so busy. If you are pressed for time, order one of their grilled kabob platters or wraps. I saw those come out fairly quickly. The dough show is the guys up front making the pies. It is cool to watch them and see how they are made. It was a unique experience with good food. Next time, we will try the kabobs and a dessert pie!

Yelp
Amazing! The food was very unique, fresh and delicious! Portions are huge! The employees and owner was very friendly and appreciative that we drove 2 hours to give them a try! We will be back !

Yelp
WELCOME TO THE DOUGH SHOW! Came here for lunch to try their amazing Mediterranean pizza. I tried their mixed shawarma pizza and it was amazing. I watched them make the fluffy incredibly thin dough put it in the box then straight into my mouth. Service is counter based. Place is very packed for lunch but was still pretty quick. Got my pizza in about 25 minutes. Highly recommend. So tasty and delicious without feeling heavy.

Yelp
We decided to check this place out after seeing it on Instagram. I was super intrigued by their pies and the fact that they have Shawarma. It was kind of nostalgic walking in here because this spot was formerly a Lebanese restaurant I used to frequent often when I first moved to Orlando. The restaurant itself isn't too big but it's open and bright. They offer outside seating as well. I also noticed that they are expanding to the empty spot next door which will be great. The gentleman at the register was super helpful because I had no idea what some of the items listed were. We ordered the regular mixed meat oriental pie. This came with their house made pastrami, meat, sausage, tomato, olive, Roman cheese, pepper and mozzarella. My eye also caught the fact they offered hummus and tabouleh so we ended up ordering the lamb kofta platter that comes with 2 sides and choice of rice. My only negative was that the tabouleh didn't have enough acid ie lemon but it was very fresh. Everything tasted amazing! We were trying to save room for dessert but we were too stuffed! You definitely get your money's worth. I'm looking forward to my return visit to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
For one, the restaurant gets really hot. The oven's heat makes the whole store very hot. I went during the summer and was sweating waiting for my order. The portion of the meal I ordered was great. I wish I got the falafel wrap though. It was very flavorful when I tried a bite of my friend's dish. My pie (dough show) was good but I might not be used to the cuisine since this is the first time I have tried it. I thought it lacked flavor. Overall there were many items on the menu that were great. I just wish that it wasn't so hot. It would definitely be better to grab a bite during the winter.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
It was awesome to see them making the food right at the ordering counter. However, it was TOASTY inside next to the oven. We opted for the outdoor seating since it was pretty packed inside with the line from the counter to the door. The portions are hefty so go with friends to share. We ordered two regular pies and it was too much for the four of us. To be fair, we also did tried the house hummus and fries beforehand. The fries were tasty, but not that great for the price point. Next time, I would order ahead to avoid the lines, which I don't think would die down anytime soon considering it's right next to UCF area.

Yelp
I was beyond ecstatic to find this place. My fiancé and I were visiting Orlando and made sure to drive the extra 45 minutes to make it there. It was absolutely worth it. From the customer service to the atmosphere of the place, that's not even to describe the food. Everyone there was extremely nice and hospitable. I myself am Egyptian and have not had feteer that is authentic in many years. There are so many options to choose from. I personally had the one with cheese, vegetables, and halal pastarami. My fiancé appreciates a sweeter taste so he went for the sweet one. I absolutely recommend this place. I will always make it a point to go back and visit when I am in town and have recommended this to my local friends who live in Orlando.

Yelp
The Dough Show is a great place to head towards if you are looking for a different take on a pizza. I walked in and asked the friendly man behind the counter what he would recommend and he pointed me towards the pizza. He also further elaborated that they make their own in-house pastrami, so I went with that. They have a huge tandoori type pizza oven and soon enough, my pizza was ready. In addition to the cool, attention drawing oven, the inside is relatively simple, but that is cool. The Dough Show is close to the University of Central Florida (UCF), so I am confident that a lot of their customer base are the students and faculty there. With a very friendly staff and great food, the Dough Show is a great place to head towards if you are craving something a bit beyond the standard offerings. I would definitely recommend the Dough Show and I will give it five stars overall.

Yelp
If you have not been you need to. This place is so unique and different from anything else in Orlando and the food is soo good. The crew is outstanding and friendly, server Gilbert treat us super good. The dough show meat mixed was awesome and super filling for 3 people, everything super fresh. Sorry I forgot the pics. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This is the first place that I have felt excited about in a long time! I didn't love the salad--the ingredients were fresh but it needed some salt and it was super tart (too much lime juice?); I would probably skip it next time. The Dough Show pie, however, was phenomenal!!! It was almost like a Shepard's pie but with a phyllo dough instead of mashed potatoes. They also have a whole section of the restaurant that is like a juice bar, where they make fresh juice. Honestly I wish the seating was more comfortable but there was plenty of it. There was also a decent amount of parking. I can't wait to come back for more food in the future!

Yelp
I don't know what happened today. First off, I tried to use the online ordering system and it was not good. I tried to order the lamb chops, which stated that you get two sides and two sauces, I selected two of each and then it wouldn't let me go any further, because it said only select one. So, I called to try to place my order through the phone and no one answered. My husband called and they answered, a few minutes later. It took a while for the guy to take my order, I'm not sure if it was a language barrier or not, but we ordered one of the pies, a kebab platter and the lamb chops platter. I placed the order with him and recited everything again. The total was almost $60. My husband went to go and pick it up and they told him that they didn't have any lamb chops, so he got a chicken platter instead. They also tried to still charge him for the lamb chops! The place was extremely packed and it was very hot in there, I'm not sure if the air conditioning could keep up with the amount of people or the ovens. The chicken kebab had no taste. It looks like it was going to be flavorful, but the chicken was a little rubbery and it was tasteless. I asked the guy if the sauces had dairy in it and he said that he was not sure. If you have any allergies, don't eat here because they don't know, and they will not tell you. To me, that's a huge thing because there are some people that are vegan or gluten-free or dairy free and they are unable to advise you. The hummus was good and fresh, but it really didn't have any taste, needed salt, or some thing. Same for the baba ghanouj. The fries were cold and the chicken was just truly disappointing. The pie was OK, do not expect anything similar to a pizza just because it looks like it. Very cool way they make the dough though. There was very little chicken shawarma inside though. Most of the ends are just dough. Overall, I do wish them well, but I will not be returning. For this price point, it's not worth it to not know what has dairy and what doesn't have dairy and to not have flavor for me. Furthermore, when I ordered, they should have told me that they had no lamb chops. I was very excited to try this place, but it turned out to be a miss for me. Oh well.

Yelp
Unique option! We tried the hummus, which was a little too strong(peanut buttery) but perfect texture. The chicken shawarma bowl was good. The highlight was the Mixed Shawarma pie. Large portion size, the cheese pull was mouth-watering, and the flavor was so good. It was freshly prepared and baked just right as well. Staff was really nice and the environment was modern looking. It is a unique take on pizza, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yelp
Top Knotch Mediteranian Eats! Try the soup (free samples as you order). I had a beef and chicken swarma wrap. Both were exellenf and the wrap was fresh and crisp.

Yelp
I've been drooling over the social media posts for months. When I finally made it to the Dough Show it was a dream come true. Omg. The pie. The cheesy, garlicky, stretchy, gooey delicious pie is to die for. I ordered the veggie. Friends ordered one with mixed meat (chicken and the brown meat-sorry I don't know what it is). They loved it, but raved about the flavor of the brown meat. I also ordered a dip sampler and it was fantastic. I wanted to eat everything and so I will have to come back to try everything, especially their dessert pies. I am not familiar with Egyptian cuisine, but my friend from Egypt did say that it reminds her of home. If that's the case, I need to book a vacation to Egypt right away. Until I can afford that, I will be hanging out at the Dough Show.

Yelp
Great addition to the UCF area! Dont let the construction in the area deter you, the restaurant is very easy to get to and away from the mess of the construction zone. I had the chicken Shawarma and my friend had the beef pie. Both were delicious and even the small pies were HUGE! We truly should have shared one! We also tried the hummus which was super creamy and flavorful. Service was quick and easy. Order at a counter and find your seat.

Yelp
The food here has great flavor. I got 2 things so I could have left overs and one regular pie was big enough for 2. The pies and rolls are essentially the same thing just different shapes. I got the minced meat and the beef shawarma. They come with cheese, meat, and some veg (onions, green and red peppers, and olives I think). The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is cute and clean. I highly recommend.

Yelp
The restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. The guy at the counter suggested I try the chicken scharma and I took him up on the suggestion. I did not think that pie was flavorful and would not order it again. They did have other Mediterranean foods on the menu and I would return and try one of those. The process of making the pies was very interesting. You can watch the pies being made while waiting for your food.

Yelp
This place was delicious !! Me and my friends absolutely loved it. The mixed meat pizza had a flakey crust with juicy meat inside, and the Nutella pistachio crepe came drenched in Nutella. The only thing to mention is the mixed appetizer platter only came with 4 pita.. Thankfully the owner kindly gave us some more, but I think the platter should at least be served with 6, especially if you're gonna share with 2 or 3 people. Also, the two salads were average, but the rest of the dips tasted great. Staff is amazingly friendly, though a little disorganized at times. I think it would be useful to stick to a name or buzzer system, not use both. Overall, we will definitely be back to try bowls, more pizzas, and of course get the Nutella crepe again!!

Yelp
On a two-day trip to Orlando from South Florida, The Dough Show was an absolute must-visit. I was so excited to try a pizza I'd never knew even existed until not too long ago. As I pulled up, the restaurant was buzzing with families eating pizzas and platters. To the right was a pizza-maker, stretching out the dough, getting it ready for the oven. Since there were two shawarma spits behind the counter, what could be better than mixing shawarma with pizza? I chose the mixed version. The meat was so tender, the cheese was so creamy and the bell peppers added the perfect crunch to put in between delicate flakey layers of dough. For dessert, I asked the person at the counter what his favorite was, and without hesitation, he said that it was the Alexandria pie. It was the best of all worlds - sugar, cinnamon, custard, raisins, and that same flakey dough made it an amazing dessert - the small was large enough to share with a few people. My only regret is that I didn't try their juices. I'll definitely be back, so I'll have to try a few!

Yelp
AMAZING food, even better owners. Very kind folks. My favorite is sugar cane juice and you have to try the Egyptian pizza! Very unique to anything in US. The kaboob was amazing. Price is just for the quality and quantity of mouth watering middle eastern food. I cannot believe someone vandalized the business recently. I'm so sorry to the owners that such heartless people exists in this world, and inshallah they'll find their heart one day. The seating is great as well. PACKED always! Love the environment and music. Will be back :)

Yelp
"Hey have you ever tried fateer?" "Like the pies? I really love getting it when I'm in Egypt, why?" "There's a new place in Orlando that specializes in them" "Whoa really? That's pretty surprising because of how specialized of a skill it is to make them!" This conversation with an Egyptian friend (who doesn't live here) did more than pique my curiosity about these skillfully crafted pies. Arrived around 7:15pm on a weekday to a restaurant filled with people inside and out. I soon found out why: the wait for food was currently at 45 minutes. It was no matter as I had to run to Costco anyway. The menu is extensive with the aforementioned fateers but also many other types of dishes including platters and wraps. Decided to go with the namesake of the restaurant, the Dough Show, which was a savory fateer filled with mixed meat, mixed cheese, olives and bell peppers. Combo pizza calzone vibes, if you will. My Costco run ran late but my fateer was still pending almost an hour later...I had eaten a late afternoon snack so was doing fine but can imagine how hangry I might've been if I didn't--a fair warning to anyone reading this review who will need to be eating within half an hour. After taking an interlude to actually witness the fateer-making master (pretty mesmerizing how quickly the dough gets paper thin), victory (and fateer) was mine! The dish itself was very good, especially the dough, which reminded me of taiwanese scallion pancakes but thinner. It was crispy on the outside but still had a little bit of chew. The filling was pretty good but I think the cheese was a little too salty for my taste and overwhelmed the rest of the flavors. Next time I'll definitely try another filling, maybe one without cheese. I chuckle at the fact that they have a "regular" size and a "large" size that is meant to feed 2-3 people, when the regular size can very easily feed at least 2. That said, it is a great deal for having leftovers! Tl;dr: true rating is 4 stars with half a star added for a new business boost which rounds up to 5 stars! The wait for fateer can be lengthy so plan accordingly. I look forward to returning to try more dishes, especially a sweet-filled fateer!

Yelp
The Dough Show, I can say I was heavily influenced by social media because I was blown away by not only the skill it takes too make, form and stretch out the dough but also doing that probably one hundred times a day haha. So of course I had to order the famous Egyptian style pie that one could choose with a variety of fillings. The one pictured below is the regular mixed meat pie and let me tell you I think one is plenty for one person. I also tried the lamb platter that had grilled lamb, hummus , pie dough on the bottom, pita bread and Tabbouleh which I kind of like to compare too a chimichurri. A nice lemon mint added the refreshing touch I was looking for to wash everything down. It's a quick service setup you go to the counter order your food and they have someone bring over your drink and food right to the table. It was nice because it's like dining in at a restaurant but not really lol. Ordering was made simple thanks to the young man at the kiosk as well as his recommendations. I'm so glad I was influenced to try this delicious meal as it did not disappoint

Yelp
I love to experience diversity and other cultures through food. But, it is not always easy to find welcoming, unique places with soul. This place though, delivers. So to set the stage, we are tourists. We decided to drive quite away from the touristy things because this popped up on my Yelp and looked good. I was worried it wouldn't be worth it as we got caught in traffic. When we went in it was fairly slow (but school is out and we were there ar a weird time). We were welcomed and got different things. I got a bowl, my mom got falafel platter, and my husband a pie. We got hummus as a table. I will say, everything I ate was amazing. I never had a "pie" like that but it is like a flakey pizza without sauce. You don't miss it because the cheese is just amazing. The hummus was creamy and had the perfect texture. My bowl was delicious and I had no leftovers. We were all satisfied and felt the journey was worth the results. We got a sweet pie to go (because we just had to). I also talking to the staff a little because we were obviously tourists (northerners in the south in winter). Hospitality was fantastic and we got to try a date drink that was also great. So in the end.... it is worth the drive for tourists and all those who want delicious food. Also, they do not have. MSG in their food (as we had an allergy in the group)

Yelp
My first visit to The Dough Show was a delight! The staff's warmth started from the moment we walked in, offering to try the lentil soup. The chicken pie with veggies and chicken shwarma were good choices. Added fresh pineapple juice to the order and it did not disappoint. The transparency of food preparation, where you can see them at work was entertaining. The inside had ample seating and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
What incredible food. I stopped by with my friend and we were not disappointed. Ehab and Karin were so friendly when helping us choose what items to try. All of their juices were so fresh and flavorful. We tried their orange juice, prickly pear (cactus), and sugarcane. My favorite was the prickly pear. We tried their Vegetable Oriental Pie and it was SO cheesy and delicious. I'm still dreaming about it. And the chef who made the pie was so talented. We tried their Mix Grill which was also amazing. There was a variety of meats and sides that came with the platter. My favorite was definitely the pie. We ended the meal with a dessert pie which was also incredible. If you haven't tried this spot yet, you NEED to check it out.

Yelp
I found this on IG and the show lives up to the hype. I was amazed watching the guy spread and flip the dough to perfection. The special oven is a work of art as well. But on IG the employees of course look happy, and when you get in...they look and act bothered. The guy at the register is definitely the most friendly and patient. Prepare to stand in line as the menu is extensive and people are trying to figure out what to order. Also prepare to wait as it is freshly made. A regular size pizza is enough for 2 and about $18. We had a group of four, and tried the chicken shawarma pizza and the sausage pizza. As a stuffed pizza lover, this was right up my alley. Not too bready, very flavorful, and the garlic sauce on the side was a nice touch. The sausage was a bit too large for my taste, imagine a meatball not crumbles. But it was still good. We definitely want to go back and try the wraps and platters. Please add one on the west side!

Yelp
Such a unique gem near the UCF campus! I saw this place on Instagram and wanted to try it out, it was my first time at an Egyptian place and I was blown away. They specialize in Egyptian pies and they actually do a show... with the dough! All the workers are so sweet and helpful, they walked us through the menu and made sure we got to see the fun "dough show". We ordered the chicken shawarma pie and the mixed grilled platter that came with a variety of kabobs over rice and with 2 sides. I loved the pie, it was so flaky and buttery and just such a unique dish. The seating area is small but they have an outdoor seating area with games, and they're expanding the interior. I can't wait to come back again!!

Yelp
I had heard so many positive comments about The Dough Show, that I came here with high expectations. They did not disappoint! I ordered one of their signature Oriental Pies, "The Dough Show". Its preparation is an art in itself! The dough is stretched to a paper-thin layer before being generously filled, folded, and baked in their custom oven that was brought over from Egypt. I dined in so I could enjoy it hot right out of oven. Inside seating is limited, but they have a few seats outside. The layers of dough are flaky, and filling is flavor-packed. I'd love to return soon and save room to also try one of their sweet pies. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great food , place and people . Only drawback is the long waits due to the crowds. But, waiting time is worth it. Yum yum . We will definitely be back!
