The Downtown Creamery

I was in the area for work, and although there were several other cafés nearby, this one was an absolute gem. I was greeted with a warm smile and received stellar customer service throughout my visit. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated. They offered sandwiches, a variety of ice creams on display, and a small selection of pastries. I enjoyed my espresso and cinnamon bun while people-watching by the window — a perfect little break in my day.

Hidden gem in downtown Framingham! The sweetest little spot, a nice respite from the busy streets outside. I’ve been here several times to try different gelato flavors and they’ve always been yummy! I’ll definitely be back soon to try the crepes too. The salt and pepper shakers here are the cutest ones I’ve ever seen.

I love their customer service. Their food is amazing their breakfast like the chicken sandwich that they bake and their ice cream’s are delicious. Thanks for you guys services.

Seriously refreshing to have someone helpful and happy behind the counter! My shrimp wrap was delicious. We also got tiramisu and coconut gelato. Everything was tasty and service was fast and friendly. Parking is a bit tough, but find a way, it's worth it. This little spot was desperately needed downtown!

I Normally get Buffalo Chicken wraps with fried chicken but man I tried the one with grilled chicken here at The Downtown Framingham and it was absolutely fire! I like they put the wraps in a Panini press to give it that little extra crisp! Open for breakfast and lunch with Gelato, Crepes sweet and Savory, Soups, Sandwiches and fun snacks like Empanadas and Coxhina!! Can order online for pickup and or delivery!

The pistachio gelato was amazing!!!! This place is adorable. The gelato was so delicious. Serving size was generous. The flavors were great. It tasted like real pistachio. The Downtown Creamery also has coffee, lattes and other delicious dessert items.

The Downtown Creamery is finally open in Framingham, in the former Eye Optiks space on Waverly Street. This cute cafe serves up breakfast, lunch, and a good variety of treats. The place is pretty cozy with three round tables and seating along the front window. They offer baked goods, coffee & espresso drinks, natural juices,16 flavors of gelato, creative kids sundaes, sweet crepes, savory crepes, paninis, wraps, and salads. The breakfast offerings (until 9am) include pancakes, waffles, eggs, and breakfast paninis. I stopped by The Downtown Creamery for lunch takeout. The place was very busy and one person was handling all of the cooking, food prep, and running the register. I ordered the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Panini ($10.25 plus tax) and the Classic French Crepe ($9.75 plus tax). The food I ordered was made to order fresh, which took about 20 minutes to be ready and bagged. I enjoyed my food back at my vehicle. The Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wrap was a good size, cut in halves, which had pieces of grilled chicken, cheese, chopped lettuce, and buffalo sauce in a flour tortilla wrap, warmed and served with standard potato chips. The Classic French Crepe had a thin big crepe with fresh spinach, tomatoes, bacon strips, cheese, and sliced avocados, crepe folded in and grilled again. The large crepe was served with a spinach & mixed greens salad with choice of dressing. I really enjoyed my freshly made wrap and crepe, enough food for two filling and tasty lunches. I would absolutely come back so I can try their other crepes, paninis and gelato.

Very small shop, so be prepared to wait a little bit for your food. As simple as most of the menu is, it is absolutely delicious. Definitely try it out if you've never been
