The Drafting Table Cocktails & Kitchen

This restaurant is located inside of Hotel Indigo and in the heart of downtown which means that the accessibility to this place is not convenient at all. They have a parking deck nearby but honestly it’s ridiculous. I called to confirm where I could park 3 times and no one picked up. Upon entering, it was beautiful overall. The interior was modern and sleek. I ordered the Margherita Flatbread and the Purple Lotus, and I was not amused. The sauce one the Flat bread lacked flavor so I had to ask for red pepper flakes and ranch. Which made it a little better. The drink was just an expensive Chili’s cocktail. You could tell that it was not a well crafted cocktail. Overall I will not go here again. The staff was super nice and friendly which was the only plus.

Conveniently located inside the Hotel Indigo. Nice open atmosphere and cool vibe. The hostess has personality plus and was very welcoming. The food was fine, but pretty basic. I had scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and chicken sausage. It was comfortable and pretty peaceful, and the food was filling.

Located inside Hotel Indigo - note that a 15% gratuity (service charge) is automatically added. Had a slight issue and Desiree (manager) was quick to correct problem. Joy our server did well - might have checked on us as we were without drink for most of meal. All in all - nice restaurant with a easy going vibe.

I really wanted to like the restaurant based off of their menu, however, upon receiving our food we were shocked to see the quality and poor visual in the presentation. I ordered the margarita flatbread, the salmon entree, the short ribs and 2 Cesar salads, EVERYTHING WAS AWFUL. Dry, no flavor, and to top things off, after I complained I was made to feel like my concerns weren’t valid. I was asked to bring the food downstairs to have them take pictures to see if I could get a possible refund! (So unprofessional) I was told basically if I didn’t replace with another option a refund was questionable. The night time manager told me she would have her manager call me to discuss a potential refund, mind you I spent almost $200 on food and needed to wait for a few days to hear back from her. This is unacceptable!

While staying at Hotel Indigo, my team and I visited The Drafting Table, and I would definitely recommend it to others! Randy was our server and was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond to be gracious, welcoming, and provide exceptional service. The food was also excellent!

The Drafting Kitchen & Cocktails is an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the location is perfect. Service was top-tier—Nikki, the bartender, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus. Desiree, the manager, added a personal touch by checking in with each guest to ensure everything was going smoothly. The service was prompt, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable night out.

Saturday night, I was sitting at the bar when I witnessed a very uncomfortable situation unfold between some of the staff. It appeared that my bartender, Nikki, and another woman—who had been sitting at a table since I arrived—verbally confronted the bartender I had the previous night, Randy. Things escalated quickly, and it was clear there was tension among the workers. The bartender from the previous night, who had been both friendly and professional, walked off during the commotion. What truly disturbed me was hearing a homophobic slur come from the woman at the table. After that moment, I didn’t see Randy return, which left me feeling concerned about how he was treated and hoping that he’s okay. As a guest, it was upsetting to witness such unprofessional and discriminatory behavior in a public setting. I sincerely hope management addresses this incident appropriately so that all employees feel safe and respected in their workplace.

Drinks were good. They made a delicious lime and cucumber mocktail for my friend, which she loved. We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer. Service was great. Will try for lunch or dinner when I'm back in Atlanta.

Good drinks, the bartender was straight!!! You literally are just a walk away from your car and room!! This is a beautiful bar with a breathtaking water bridge !! I love it here right next to Rays in the City!!

I've been to the bar a couple of times for dinner and cocktails, for my money, I prefer Ray's, next door. It's a nice place, pretty but dated architecture. I feel the restaurant management needs to make more of an effort, in terms of quality control for the food and staff. The food is hit and miss, I've been disappointed enough not to eat here when I stay, although the fettuccine Alfredo was good last time I stayed at Indigo. I only tried it because the bartender promised it was the best thing on the menu. The quality of cocktails depend on the bartender du jour, I had the worst Old Fashioned ever one night and the next night, a different bartender (who recommended the Alfredo) made one perfectly.

I came to meet some friends that were staying at the hotel. There was one server and one bartender so it was good that it wasn't crowded. The menu is basic but our food was tasty. We ordered apps and entrees. The service was sub-par. We had to ask for a lot of basic things such as more water, silverware, food that was missing. I would not come back except if I was staying in the hotel and didn't want to go out.

Beautiful bar. Unfortunately service was god awful, Ronald was so incredibly rude. The hotel indigo is too nice of an establishment to have such terrible staff.

Food is mediocre. Your safest best is the burger and fries or wings. This is not fine dining. It's bar dining. Antonio, not sure if he's a GM or kitchen manager, runs around this place screaming and berating the staff to the point it makes the customer uncomfortable. I've been staying at the Hotel Indigo where this is this only dining option onsite and he's extremely disruptive to patrons' dining experiences. We asked for a salad and pasta to be split -- Antonio would not allow it -- said the kitchen wouldn't do modifiers -- a staff member had placed a split salad order prior to this and he came out to the bar with two bowls of salad in his hands questioning the bartenders who submitted a modified order. His behavior is better suited for a Waffle House, not an IHG property restaurant. Be prepared for sub par food and service if he's around. Nikki the bartender is a delight and makes wonderful cocktails.

It's very pretty and clean. In all other ways it's the worst. The entrees are insanely high for what you get. The bill had an item we didn't order on it, and an entrée voucher we had was applied to an a la cart item instead of one of the 5 entrées my table ordered. We never got silverware. Only 1/3 of the table got waters even tho we all asked multiple times. $4 for coffee that never got refilled. It wasn't busy so I don't know . I stood up to ask for some things that we needed like plates and sugar for the coffee and the hostess got super annoyed at me but... we had waited and our food and drinks were getting cold, and I didn't know what else to do. There's a worker shortage for places that don't pay their ppl a living wage so seeing this place understaffed doesn't make me like it more, it just tells me it's a shitty place to work on top of being a shitty place to eat. Pay your ppl.

Would not recommend. We were there last night and ordered vodka tonics which were served in short glasses half full with club soda instead of tonic water. Very pleasant server added bottled tonic water - thanks! Ordered medium rare sirloin which came out quite rare. Pleasant server nowhere in sight. If I'd waited for her to reappear, steak would've been cold so (I have a cast iron stomach) I ate the steak leaving one piece for for server to show chef. My wife had the smash burger which caused middle of night digestive distress. Oh and the V&T's were $14 each. Server was not pleased with my 10% tip for poor service.

Joined three co-workers for dinner here while in Atlanta on business. The service was kind of slow. The waitress though slow was a lot of fun and had a wonderful personality. When the food came, it was wonderful. I fish and it was cooked perfectly.

I love a good dirty martini and it surprising hard to find a bartender that can do it right. Well I found Aire and she is the best!! Go see her for drinks done right.

Came here on a Monday night. We ordered (1) chicken wings: They have at least 4 different flavors. We ordered Honey BBQ which was pretty good. (2) Pork Chop w/ mash potatoes: pork chop was overall good, but a little dry 4/5. Mash potatoes were excellent so 5/5 because they whipped the mash. (3) grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ fries: sandwich was flavorful, but lacking something 4/5. The fries were very good 5/5. Seating: generally available seating. Not empty, but not jammed packed. Staff: friendly. Thank you, Aire. Overall, good place to eat.

Beautiful bar and atmosphere, modern fixtures! The best waiter Jaye helped us choose our meal, I wanted to lick the plate! Thank you Jaye! This fish special was a lemon butter blackened white fish risotto And asparagus . I don't even care for asparagus but this dish had us so indulged that my friend and I quit talking And just we're making yummy humming sounds! Thanks Jaye!! Can't wait to see what you recommend next time!!!

Michelle was amazing! Awesome bartender with great mixology skills. We will absolutely return!

Y'all... you MUST go and visit Doc! We had a wonderful meal, he was incredibly entertaining.... may be my new favorite lunch spot!

My mother and infant daughter walked in here to get some lunch really quick before going to the aquarium. Huge mistake, it took forever to get sat down even though there were only 2 people sitting in the restaurant, while we ordered our food, our waiter was ignoring us talking to another employee there across the restaurant. It took forever to get our food, it wasn't prepared how we asked it to be but we were so hungry from waiting we ate it anyways. Go somewhere else if you're hungry.

Stephanie and her staff do a great job taking care of their guests. Bartenders are top notch (Charity, Michelle and Aiyre - you guys rock!). Always ask about the specials, Tres is amazing! Food is always great!

Worst service ever. The Food was great but we waited FOREVER for a seat and dinner - even though we were promised a table within 20 minutes.

What a wonderful hidden gem in the heart in downtown Atlanta. Michelle is a skillful bartender with an even more beautiful personality. Will come back every time I visit.

4 of us went to dinner Friday night and it was awesome. The quinoa bowl with salmon was perfect. Their flatbread pizza was delish. Trey is the chef and he did a great job. Tatayana waited on us and she was great!! Try it!
