"A totally unique restaurant idea is coming to nearby USC called The Dragon and Meeple, and it combines elements of a board game cafe with a craft beer pub. Formerly a board game event held on the Westside, owner Chris Buskirk and partner Alex Tune will open a full fledged board game pub in the former Lotus space along Flower Street, just a few blocks from the new Banc of California Stadium and USC’s main campus." - Matthew Kang

My wife and I were visiting from Detroit and came here to meet up with some friends. We had a great evening playing games, and found The Dragon & Meeple to be one of our favorite boardgame bars we've visited. Great games, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great organization of their library, tons of space, and good beer on tap! Excellent execution all around!

Large open space with lots of games to choose from and good food and drinks. $5 per person to sit and play their library of board games. You can purchase modern board games here as well. There's limited parking, about 10 spots, in a small lot in the back.

This place is pretty legit. They have a huge verity of board games from Fall Out to Street Fighter. Most of the games I didn't even know existed. The food is full of flavor and pretty large portions to fill you up. The menu is not to large but you can't go wrong with anything you select. Not only do that have beer on tap but they have wine and the selection is great too.

Happy to be one of the early visitors! The staff was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of both their menu and games and obviously enthusiastic about this new business! All of the food we ordered was of good quality and delicious. The space has comfortable chairs and tables with ample space for food and games. The game selection is good and in excellent condition. The dragon light fixtures and decor are fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Great gaming space. Nice and open with very comfortable chairs. My group comfortably played for 5+ hours. Lots of games to choose from and the staff was very knowledgeable. Had great recommendations. The food overall is pretty good. A tad expensive but it was quality. It was a bit warm inside but I would have to go back to see how it is in warmer weather. Only negative is parking is pretty terrible since it is LA.

This place is everything a gamer could ask for. Excellent game selection, great food, comfortable chairs, huge tables and good lighting. My boyfriend said it felt like a gamer spa the way we kept having prompt service and people to even teach you the game. I actually hate to even write a review because although it was busy it wasn't crowded so it was still easy to hear our group. I am hoping it is just due to great acoustics. We will definitely be returning here often.
