It was kinda hard to find the new shop location but I was happy when I did. I love the dragons eye perfume oil rollers! Recently broke mine so I got some new ones! Apple Maps will send you next door. It’s actually the 2 story yellowish tan building before the place it takes you. They are located in the back near the white brick wall. It says Sweet tooth with a sign above. I’m sure that’s the place upstairs.

What a surprisingly wonderful selection of craft working herbs. The owner, Wren, was spectacularly kind. There is a beautiful peaceful energy around the shop. And the prices are great. I would 100% shop here again, and recommend this place to any practitioner. Sombra and I thank you Wren for being so kind to us, and thank your black shop kitty too, for letting us shop. 😉

I recently came into The Dragon and The Rose as I usually come through every few months. But this time I was specifically on a mission to find a product called Royal Rosin. This is a lip balm made with all natural ingredients and of course, a sprinkling of magic! A colleague of mine actually makes Royal Rosin lip balms and this year because of the Pandemic I am making extra sure to support local businesses who in turn, support local artists and small producers of exceptional quality. So, my trip today hopefully satisfied that!! As always, I ended up buying a couple of other cool gifts for my family. I bought my sister a beautiful chime from France. I'll post a video of it so you can hear the amazing tones! I wanted to buy a bunch of crystals and stones as these are also huge attractions for me. I want to mention that The Dragon and the Rose is really well supplied with everything you could possibly want for your metaphysical, magical, and spiritual needs. I absolutely love this place! Great energy, super friendly staff, and you can get a psychic reading from Pandora who is amazing! I always find something new here when I come. They have events throughout the month. Give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed. They’re tucked away in the corner next to a boxing gym and a massage place.

Love this little shop. They have a good amount of rocks, stone, herbs and oils. Love the ritual oils and soaps they sells there also. They smell amazing. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. One of my favorite shops. Some things I bought for a friend to help the with their sleep/dreams

This crystal shop is absolutely the best! We loved the great collection of crystals and incense.The store smelled wonderful! Also, the staff is so friendly! They also have two really awesome kitties that roam around the store. If you’re lucky one of them might even jump in your lap!

I'm a customer that started my spiritual journey last year. I like to check out their products when I feel I need to and like trying out different services from their readers/healers. The store: I have come here for a limpia cleansing from Addie & bought crystals. I enjoyed my experience and definitely recommend trying it out. The owner books on the weekend different guests psychics and healers. They also have events which I have never been to but look interesting. I came recently for candles but decided to get a heart-shaped peach selenite crystal & did the love ritual/spell. If you're curious about healing & tarot services, this store excels with that. I love cats so much... wish I could own one and am more than happy to pet the cats of the shop. Bi-monthly Psychic Fair: Every 2 months (I think?) the owner hosts a psychic fair. There were quite a bit of vendors at the last one and they all offered different things. Tarot, astrology, fragrance readings, and there was also jewelry, candles, jam, art, and ceramics. I recommend 1.5-3 hours so you can enjoy the fair. I forgot the hours but I only went for an hour and wish I went longer. I got a tarot reading from nocturna & connected with her energy. I wish I got a tamale & next time I will buy jam from the lady that let me test it. (16/100)

I am at the begining of my spiritual journey, The Dragon and the Rose was the first Pagan shop I have ever entered. Upon first entering the store I got a real calm welcoming feeling, even before I was welcomed by the cashier. I came in for some White Sage and ended up buying a Forgive and Forget oil as well. The day I came Rosie Jimenez was generously offering a free one card tarot pull for every paying customer. I accepted and I have to say his read was spot on, almost as if we had known each other for years. It was very emotional to have a stranger connect with you on such a deep level. I can not reccommend this shop enough, this will be me go to home for all my needs.

A small crystal shop that also carries a variety of other products. I bought a small moonstone and it was super affordable, about 2 dollars. The shopkeeper was very nice and the kitties too. The store had great energy too, will be back for more stones!

Sweetest people ever that run the business very well. They host a lot of events and markets which allows for the community to come together. I've met some great friends here and hold this place in my heart.

I've been coming to The Dragon and the Rose for years now but this is my first time posting about them. I always feel such beautiful, relaxing, and inviting vibes at this location. The black cat always comes to greet me when I come and I just know I'm a have a nice time picking up some of my essentials. The selection here is spectacular and I just know if I can't find something I want , the owner is very helpful with finding an alternative or perhaps locating you that item. I've personally seen her order certain items for customers. She goes above and beyond for every single person. Will always come back and it's really important during these times to support small local businesses. Great prices and great gems!

Thank you for your response. I understand you were moving in, so that makes sense why it was a bit messy. At the time we went, there was definitely no sign that said those items were haunted. There might be now, and I'm really glad to hear that. The cards I bought were definitely overpriced. Again, $29 for a regular deck you can get elsewhere is around $15-22. Unless the clerk overcharged us. As for if the items are "actually" haunted, that's why I ended up getting the cards. Because of your exact question. How can brand new cards have anything attached to them? I have no idea ‍ all I know is after we got rid of them and cleansed our home, we felt entirely better. Maybe placebo effect? Either way..

I have been coming to this store for years. Any time I need any supplies this is the one and only store I come to. I moved from Orange County to LA County and I happily make the drive from Carson to Santa Ana. The reason why I make the drive to The Dragon and the Rose is because if they don't have something I need then the owner will take time to order it for me and call me when it's in. When I was in the hospital w sepsis, the owner took time to send me healing energy. Everyone is very communicative and there is no reason anyone should be caught off guard with what the shop rules are. Everything is posted in a very visible manner, plus the social media is kept up to date on what is taking place at the store. This place of business is more than just a store, it is a place where community gathers, where those without families can have a chosen family, and the people who work here will give you the shirt off their back. Yes, I could go to another shop closer to where I live, but I will continue to make the drive where I am valued as a customer, valued as a member of the community, and valued as a human being.

For being a "spiritual shop" this shop is far from it. The owner Karen is there, nothing but rude and short. The shop does not take credit cards and that's ok, I get it but what would be nice is if YOU PUT a sign that says no CARD. Instead she gives off this rude attitude, not friendly and says we haven't taken credit for over a year. How are we supposed to know that? I came here with my daughter to pick up some incense, candles and just items to help with positivity but geesh, she literally drained my energy. I just saw their Instagram where they ask for donations to keep this shop open, no wonder they are doing bad. Be nice to your customers Karen, you have a sign about KARMA, stop preaching and act like a true business owner, Btw the prices are jacked up like crazy, the shop almost has no items, the candles I saw were $5 candles sprinkled with herbs and sold for over $25 to $30. Don't go here. The shop drains your energy,

Adorable crystal shop! Lots of crystals, incense, and items you could need for an alter or for cleansing. Large parking so no worries about parking. Best part is there's cats! These sweet fur babies are around even if you don't see them right away. Staff is friendly.

Discovered this shop through browsing through witch instagram. It's local to me and I was curious to check it out. I was sold on the fact that there's three shop cats that roam around the store. I like their selection of teas, herbs, incense, candles, and gems. I would recommend getting on their mailing list for deals and sales. There's also community events; I haven't attended any just yet, but I like that this place fosters a sense of community. I have used their tarot services via phone and I love Michelle. She's totally thorough and is very kind in her insights. Highly recommend for witches in the OC!

What a great shop! I came in here last week on my Me Day & was excited to find exactly what I was looking for (candles, a book & some other supplies). Karen was super awesome and easy to talk to. There was a nice selection of pretty much everything they stock so I'll definitely be back. Plus, shop cats!

This store was unique. They have a great variety of crystals/stones. Crystal/Stones are sold by weight They have quite a large selection of herbs. They also sell Tarot/oracle cards, incense, and jewelry. They do have free roaming cats that are very sweet.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same relaxing vibe that the last location had. It's very small so it's hard to browse without feeling like your in someone else's personal space. The oracle selection is lacking but they seem to have a good amount of tarot cards. They don't accept credit/debit cards. They also take way too long to check out everyone. An overwhelming amount of time is you waiting in line to pay.

The staff is so nice and I always find some new treasures. Pricing is great too. A fun place.

Service here has gone down so badly. Used to be a great place to buy my ritual stuff but the staff has become so rude. There is no sign to tell you they don't accept card they just expect you to know, and the lady rudely says "we haven't for a year now", tried sending payment through Zelle and I was having difficulty with the internet service, lady at the front offers no assistance what so over and treats you like a burden that you're even in there. horrible place to buy ritual things, the energy is completely off and they barely have anything anyway. Prices have skyrocketed for oils, no oil burners for sale, they have like 3 candles for sale for nearly $30 each. And they are not the good kinds they are the ones you get from the grocers for $2. Save yourself from this place. Pretty sure its the owner Karen. Won't be coming here anymore.

The shop is blessed by three familiars. It is stocked with herbs, crystals and ingredients that fit every need. And the vibe is unbeatable.

This place is such a wonderful place to visit. I came here with a crystal bracelet in mind that I saw on their Instagram page. Once inside there are nothing but good vibes here and positive energy. I ended up getting matching beautiful angelite stone beaded bracelets with an angel charm on it for myself and my sister in law who has been such a help to me. They are suppose to aid in protection. I also picked up another bracelet along with some incense to help bring more positive energy into my place. Along with body salts for a nice bath. The staff here is so friendly. They answered all my questions and helped me find what I was looking for. There are a couple of friendly cats here too. If your looking for something to help you heal and a dose of positivity. This is the perfect place for you. They also sell a variety of Crystal's, books, tarot cards, misc items. I am a fan. Just such a fantastic place to find things you did not know you were looking for.

The dragon and the rose lives up to the hype. I met a great sales wiccan that was novice level but knew stuff I didn't and I explained my issue with my third eye and the blockage I have that won't let me truly see unless I'm moon drunk. I got a third eye oil specially enchanted by the master of the shop. I used it with my best friend and just vibes. Good product. My friend got a great deal on incense and a holder. I wanted to get more stuff but money was low. Great prices and great vibe. There are two very laid back and adorable familiar. The black cat liked me so that's a win. Sorry I didn't take a kitty pic but I was focused on figuring out what I needed here. Great customer service. 5 star

Great local store with a wide variety of crystals, herbs, candles, etc., all the way to psychic readings and courses. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I recently sent my niece and her friend in with several hundred dollars that I had given my niece for her 18th birthday. She and her friend were looking for several things to start their occult practice. They are just getting into the occult and being new and young, they are eager and have lots of questions. when they went in to the store, they were not greeted, no one offered to help them, and when they asked for help, they were met with attitude and made to feel like their questions and their presence were bothersome. They walked in excited and left feeling unwelcome and small. Needless to say I am disappointed that I referred them and upset they were treated badly. Honestly, I probably should have known better. I was a regular, at one point for more than 10 years but stopped going because of the negative vibes. I think the biggest problem is the owner Karen (aka wren) and the culture she creates with the way she treats people. She can be incredibly unfriendly and frequently unprofessional. Just take a look at her responses to negative reviews here and you'll get an idea of what I mean- very little accountability and quick to passive aggressive jabs and insults. Years ago, I took classes and attended monthly rituals. I really enjoyed the other people who attended so I kept going for many many years, even though I found the owner to be problematic. Often when Karen was around or involved, she cast a shadow on the whole place. She talked poorly about students and employees when they weren't around and frequently had conflict with them and even customers. I've seen her berate and belittle people for the smallest of things. It's really very sad. The Dragon and the Rose could be a wonderful place if it came with a positive vibe. It is the only true occult shop in Orange County and it has a decent selection of wares. I think for those reasons they've been able to keep their doors open despite a culture of mistreating people, despite sometimes poor customer service and despite everything being a bit overpriced. The way my niece and her friend were treated is the last straw for me. I will not return nor will I recommend the Dragon and the Rose to anyone going forward. Making young customers feel insignificant and treating them like they are a waste of time is not the way.

As a solitary witch I'm sometimes in need of a sense of community. The Dragon & The Rose holds events most weekends that gives us all a chance to come together to practice. They always have the best herbs for tinctures and salves, Lunam Love oils and soaps, large array of crystals and incense, and even a free food pantry for those in need. Best of all is Jack & Sally the store's kittie cats! Very welcoming and a great source for pagan's, wiccans, witches, and anyone exploring!

Something pulled me to this shop and I just went with it. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, I'm not particularly spiritual, but it's also not something I've given up on. The first thing I noticed is that it's in a very old shopping center that looks like it was in It's prime in the 70's or 80's but is not run down. I would say it felt nostalgic. The entry doors are large wooden structures and painted a red-like color so you cannot see inside the store, almost like a commercial office. At first, I was almost worried I might open the wrong door. When I walked in, the room was smaller than expected, but it smelled amazing. I started to browse and then I overheard a young woman talking excitedly and something about her energy prompted me to ask if she'd just had a reading. She explained that she does bone readings. I've had other types of readings before and wasn't sure what to expect, I also will not make appointments with tarot readers or mediums without a referral as I think it's important to be careful about who you let read you, but before I knew it I was asking to make an appointment with her. She advised she could do a reading, right now. She had me wait by the door and went around the back to get me and took me to another set of doors where there was a small room waiting for us. Marushka (sp?) was very sweet and had a calming presence and explained the process and what she saw clearly. I know she is the real deal because at no time did she ask me questions or ask me "what do you want to know"...she simply read and said things like "I don't know what that means but you probably do" and she was right. Everything she said was something from my past or present that I'm dealing with and she gave solid advice about how to overcome obstacles, some of it were things I'd been working on recently with my therapist. It would be mild to say I'm highly impressed. I would highly recommend anyone seeking something they can't name to come here, even if you think that you need to be a witch or a psychic or epically spiritual to benefit from a place like this, because I am none of those things.

I love this shop so much. Me and mom go whenever we have a chance. The customer service here is just fantastic! If you have a question or need help they're there for you. They have the best things here and even some (photo) silly stuff. They have some very friendly cats here I just adore. They're so sweet and allow you to pet them. This place always has what I need and has a great vibe. Will be coming here way more!

I have to say the folks at Dragon and the Rose are the best and the most knowledgeable metaphysical shop in the area. Auntie Pan Pan, Michael, Ren, and all of the amazing staff members there make sure you are going into their space confident and leaving with the resources you need. Whether it be for spell work, readings, or if you attend one of their special events. If they don't have what you need here they definitely have connections to other small businesses or shops around the area. I totally recommend this business to everyone who wants to start their journey. I've been going here since September and have been a frequent flyer ever since. The Dragon and the Rose used to be a place of community. A safe haven for people. Through out the years those who had been shopping there for a while will learn the owner has very little tact and costumer service skills. She had staff that made up for it, though they are no longer working there. The store grew under this employee and people were happy to look past the owner. Now the staff is not as knowledgeable and often ignore those who come in. I. Highly recommend reading through the reviews and the owners responses to get a true vibe of what the store is now. Don't just take my word for it.

I was visiting Santa Ana on a business trip. I have a habit of visiting metaphysical and Crystal shop anywhere I go and but one of many crystals for my collection. I truly likes the store and all the witchy elements, the crystals were very nice but I have to say that they were overpriced compare to many of the stores I have visited in the last year and the quality was not any different from the others. I did get some herbal things that most of the stores I visited did not had but overall is a nice store.

I bought some individual incense here. Wasn't impressed with the quality. I was impressed by my tarot reading and will be back in the future. It's a bit pricey. 60.00 for 30 minutes. have paid that amount for 45+ readings. It is an adorable little shop. Not big on inventory. They have occasional events, but I've never been. I like the overall vibe of the place and the people, so it gets 4 stars.

Normally I don't do this but I decided to make a Yelp just for this hoping for change :/ This is my usual go to shop. I always love the atmosphere and the staff always remembers me. The products are nicely stocked and always have what I need for my spiritual journey. I haven't stopped by in a month or so and definitely felt a change in customer service. I was brushed off by a young employee with short dark hair. I've never seen this employee before. Even as I spoke to ask how was Her day I was completely ignored and shut out. I also asked how much product were and wasn't even answered but given a cold stare. I never ever experienced such a rude demeanor in any spiritual shop or setting. I'm completely hurt by this. It makes me really not want to return to this shop I normally feel as my home. Staff there is always wonderful to me like family but this really ruined my experience. I still want to continue being a regular here but if there really isn't any change in customer service, I'm sorry but I'll have to change my local shop. I've noticed this to be a recurring problem in this shop judging by the other reviews as well. Please know directing such energy to someone truly hurts as an individual and empath..I really hope there some action done about this. I'm extremely grateful to all the other staff that always are a great help. But for now I have to look elsewhere and hope for the best. Thank you

Great place! Love the vibe it gives out. The store has a lot of oils, and dry herbs, a nice crystals selection! And books . I love the cats (Sally and Jack) who roam around the store bringing their purrs and meows to all their customers. Must add it's great to be greeted by the cats! They had some clothes, handmade jewelry and tiara. Great selection of silver jewelry as well. So glad I stumbled upon this place. Thank you So much Nicole! My experience for both times was great! This little shop is one of my new favorite shops, the owner is the sweetest person and the store has such an incredible backstory. Awesome variety of crystals, incense, and a ton of other awesome products.

Since it has been a while since my last review, I figured it was time to post a new one. The staff at Dragon and The Rose are really some of the best I know, and I do make my rounds at several metaphysical stores to try and support them while small shops are hurting. They take protecting people from Covid seriously, following the guidelines set, wearing masks, limiting people in the stores and social distancing. Does this mean I sometime have to wait a little bit to go into the store? Sure. Am I mad about it? Nope. I recently saw a post about someone claiming bad energy in the store. The ONLY time I have felt bad energy, it came from a customer in the store, asking for a discount because she was an 'influencer', and became upset when she didn't get one. (I looked her up, I have more followers on Instagram than her, so she isn't influencing much.) It is especially hard to keep stock of supplies right now, and because of that it I try to really buy only what I need. Whenever I have needed something Wren and Addie do there best to try and find it, find an alternative (when applicable), or order it.

Everyone here is so nice and attentive. I've been here twice and I'm planning on coming every paycheck. Their candles are much better priced than other stores I've been to and they offer a unique array of products, including soaps and salts and charm bags. The crystals are beautiful, there's pretty jewelry, and if you are into Orisha worship, there's Oshun and Yemaya products available. It is also a great shop for animal lovers who would like meeting Sally and Jack, the kitties of the shop. I'll be coming back often :)

We had auntiePan as our reader. She is very whimsical she's very out going. She made us laugh. I did have a moment where I got "a little uncomfortable" because of the the room feeling heavy. Her prices are better then other places I have been too. I cannot thank her enough. Knowing I have energy "vampires" after me. I know now that I can stand my ground and not allow them to suck me in like a their own blood. I allow myself to give space to those who wanna suck the life out of me.

Great selection, I live that it's only 5 minutes from my house. The staff was super helpful and I didn't feel rushed, I can be a bit indecisive and take my time looking, and it's a fairly small shop. I will definitely be back, the prices were fantastic.

I am in the middle of moving to a different country and have been having a stressful time. I came into the store just to buy some things to help me get by, which they have so many amazing items, and I was guided around by Emily. We later booked an appointment for a tarot reading and reiki session, and it was the most relaxing, healing, and peaceful session I've experienced. Not often do you meet a stranger so willing to offer you their services with genuine care for your well-being. I would recommend Emily specifically for any services you need, but the shop overall is just so wonderful and always kind and welcoming!

I always love coming into this place. The atmosphere, smell, customer service, and the cats are always amazing. The prices are more than fair for the quality of products they have. There's always something for someone here, even for non-witchy friends I don't come very often anymore just due to work and school but it's always a treat when I stop in!
