Roast goose! 😋👍 excellent skin, great soup. Everything including the add-ons was tasty. (Although no need for the 豬腳麵線 at that price; better to go to a traditional place like in a night market 🤪)

Dining at Grand Sheraton Taipei's Cantonese restaurant, felt, was a delightful experience that truly showcased the essence of refined and authentic Cantonese cuisine. The Peking duck, a highlight of our meal, was presented in three delectable forms: crispy duck skin, savory fried duck strips, and a richly flavourful duck soup. Each preparation allowed us to savour different aspects of the duck, with the soup being particularly impressive due to its deep, satisfying flavours. While the vegetable dishes were fairly ordinary, the seafood fried noodles stood out for their freshness. The seafood components were exceptionally fresh, adding a vibrant taste to the dish that complemented the noodles perfectly. The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for large gatherings, with spacious round tables that can comfortably accommodate up to ten people. This setup made our group dinner both enjoyable and convenient, allowing for easy conversation and a convivial atmosphere. Overall, all at Grand Sheraton Taipei is a commendable choice for those seeking authentic Cantonese dishes in a setting that caters well to larger groups. The quality of the Peking duck and the seafood fried noodles are definitely worth returning for.

The four-course roast duck was exceptional, easily one of the best in Taipei. The skin was perfectly crisp, the meat tender and juicy, and each sauce and condiment thoughtfully prepared to complement the dish. The dining ambience was relaxed and refined, with well-spaced tables that allowed for a sense of privacy, even when the restaurant was full. It was a quiet, comfortable meal from start to finish.

Nice comfortable decor, on B1 level, no windows. Mostly large tables, reservation is recommended, certain dishes also need to pre order, such as the golden goose, 4 ways, which is a very popular item. The goose dishes were all delicious, tasty, flavorful. The pancakes were perfect, the meat salad was our favorite item, refreshing and love the sauce. The dim sum items were reasonably good, could use some improvements. The pork belly though was just average. Service was ok, could use more staff. Overall, the goose alone already earns them the 5 stars.

Google
Michelin restaurant serving delicious Cantonese food. We ordered some drunken chicken, roasted duck, steamed chicken with ginger, fried rice with Chinese sausage and soy sauce, broccoli and garlic, fried rice noodles with sliced beef Strongly advised to make a reservation. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. Convenient location with good public transportation. But $$$$

We were lucky to book a table for 3 having a wonderful lunch time in this restaurant. They launched a special buffet in event for 2 months after a long quarantine period in this Pandemic. Event though it’s a lunch buffet, but they didn’t compromise the quality! Some of the highly recommended dishes must try!

We book via web for 2 people , there was no any possibility and availability for 4. But in the end, they offered us a table for 4. They said they don’t have any table for only 2. This is quite pricey for dishes. Cooking specialty……..I think you can find a lot of restaurants with similar price in the new environment with nice decorations. The palazzo is vecchio. Also the parking in this area is a nightmare. We finally paid USD150 for 2 with those dishes.

This is a high end Cantonese restaurant at Sheraton Taipei. One must try its iconic dish Roasted goose, served four different ways, Hong king style crispy goose, crispy goose leg with hoisin sauce, stir fried diced goose with Romaine lettuce, and goose soup. The chef will come to your table to slice the goose in front of you as a show to delight your dining experience. In addition, diners also have a selection of classic dim sum and signature Cantonese dishes, such as crispy pork, roasted chicken. Waiters and waitresses here are all very friendly and helpful as what one can imagine when dining in a five star hotel restraint. Though it could be expensive to have dinner here, it is still worth the money you pay.

Yelp
I'm currently dining here and I already have to give a 5/5 stars and I'm not even done with dinner yet!!! It's THAT good here. The popular Peking Duck is MINDBLOWING here. They craftily cut the duck in front of you and it's so entertaining and aesthetically pleasing to watch. Not to mention, it's delicious as well!!! We also had the Har Gao, a scallop dish, and a bamboo shoots dish and everything was amazing! High quality dishes, a high quality atmosphere, and high quality service - what more can you ask for?

Yelp
Great flavors, presentation and service. Food was really good, and practically cooked to order, but slower in my opinion. After decades of dim sum, underwhelmed from hype or value from expected details in hotel setting. Didn't see other selections like fried wu gok taro puff, other steamed dumplings, noodle dishes.

Yelp
My maternal uncle treated me last night to this amazing dinner at this 2019 Michelin awarded restaurant. We began our feast with some unique Peking duck wraps using paper thin crepes. This was followed by a dish of a few strips of scrumptious pork skin that had a slightly sweet kick to it. Much of the remaining food appeared to be of the Cantonese cuisine variety. We were served items such as assorted seafood proteins and green in a clay pot. We ordered a beef and leek dish for the sake of the kids (who were not big on seafood), and I felt that the beef was quite tender. A dish with tender duck meat was served next, and the seasoning was perfect. Two more veggie dishes followed which was a refreshing complement to the previous protein dishes. The first consisted of sauteed broccolini and the second was an interesting one with pieces of small white fish sauteed along with the vegetables (providing a little more umami to the greens). We ended the meal with a large pot of Cantonese style congee to help fill us up. The texture was very smooth and had a very nice strong meat flavor cooked into the stew. I was quite satisfied with this meal and found the flavors and presentations to be perfect. Overall this is a place I would recommend if you are looking for dishes that are delicately prepared in a beautiful setting.

Yelp
I have been here a ton of times with family because it's in a convenient location and they have a wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes. This restaurant is inside the Grand Sheraton Hotel of Taipei. Food wise, I consider this somewhere that I can guarantee that every bite is good. Perhaps their are more exceptional restaurants, but here I find comfort in knowing the food will always satisfy my taste buds and more importantly be of great quality. Our favorite dish here is the Roasted Duck prepared in three styles. With this we will get an order of greens, some noodles or fried rice, and a non-duck meat dish of some sort. Oh and I can't forget the dim sum! Service wise, this is somewhere you need patience since the dishes come out rather slowly. Therefore do not eat here if you're in a rush. I found that if you rush the service the food doesn't come out as tasty, so we try to just enjoy the time with family and enjoy the experience.

Yelp
Came in this (Monday) evening with an expectation of decent food. Yeah, food was fine. Took forever. Clearly understaffed for a Monday evening. Dim sum was no better than in New York or Hong Kong. Waiter took our order. Returned to tell us that they were out of pork. Fine, we order the chicken instead. Another waiter comes to tell us they are out of chicken. Save yourself the embarrassment and tell us the things you're out of in one go, buddy. Anyway, I'm clearly pissed, but this is one of those moments. Stop playing Christmas music after Christmas, son. Also, I feel like there should have been some senior member watching over the new hires.

Yelp
Food was fine, though not particularly my taste. Staff was a bit cold, especially one lady who looked to be a manager. However, they were very attentive and made sure to fulfill your requests. I feel that it was a little bit overpriced, but in general it was a good experience.
