The Best Sports Bars In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"This spacious, family-friendly Park Slope sports bar is especially great for big groups and kids (who are welcome until 9pm, and even eat free on Saturdays). Besides watching the Packers, the most important reason to come here is the very good burger—if you love the one at Bernie’s, you’ll dig this, too. But the Dram Shop’s other charms include a pool table, a backyard, and plenty of TVs tuned to sports. And as a proud Wisconsin stronghold, they do right by the Midwest with some very respectable cheese curds. Buckets start at $20 for High Life or Miller Lite" - will hartman, willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim

Where To Get A No-Fuss Burger In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"The burger at this Park Slope bar is like a South Brooklyn cousin of the one at Bernie’s—without the hours-long wait. And the sesame-crusted bunch maintains great structural integrity even though this cheesy burger has a lot going on: two substantial patties, shredded lettuce and tomato, mandolined length-wise pickle slices, and a cheeky dash of mustard." - will hartman, willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim, sonal shah, ciera velarde

The Dram Shop Bar - Review - Park Slope - New York - The Infatuation

"Behind a massive door that looks like it came from the Medieval Castle Exteriors aisle at Home Depot, the Dram Shop is a family-friendly Park Slope bar. The booths inside are equally enormous, easily seating six, and possibly more if your party contains kids—who are welcome before 9pm, and even eat free on Saturdays (as long as their accompanying grownup spends $20). photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte The most important reason to come here is the very good burger, which is like a South Brooklyn cousin of the one at Bernie’s. Very nice, I came before the day of Easter ..they had a cute activity for the kids . They gave each kid 3 eggs to paint in this economy lol.. so they get kudos for that . Burger was tasty, I didn't like the fries much, but that could be because I'm use to skinless fries, but nonetheless I still ate them . Margarita was good, I wish it was a little stronger 😂 I like their kids eat for free every Saturday, that's what gravitated me to this place. This kids burger was just patty and bread, instead of fries we got apples sauce . So even though the kids did not get anything extra on their burger, on was ok with it the other wasn't, so I guess it boils down to preference.

I've been going to The Dram shop for years. It's a chill spot to grab a quick bite to eat or have a drink while playing pool or choosing a board game from the variety available. My favorite item on their menu was the Deep fried mac and cheese, but they took it off. The regular mac and cheese is now my go to, it's so delicious. Their wings are fried to perfection with enough BBQ sauce to top them off.

The food here is awesome! I ordered a Pulled Pork Sandwich (perfect in every way). My husband had the Chopped Cheese Sandwich & the Beer Battered Onion Rings (both delicious). For drinks, we had the Kona Big Wave & Samuel Adam’s Octoberfest (cold & refreshing Draft Beers). Our waitress and the bartender were both super friendly & welcoming. There’s plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Definitely will be returning for more from the menu!

Google
A great local sports bar/pub in Park Slope. The food is great & they have a large variety of drinks. Its a green bay/mets/knicks bar but they play local sports, championships, & a variety of. Depending on the game schedule, they play a mix of domestic & international games. When there is a tv available, they are accommodating to play additional more niche games. They have a great happy hour, certain discount days, and a great brunch.

Google
Classic NYC/Brooklyn neighborhood bar, but with really really good food! They have a huge menu, which we tried quite a bit of and were impressed by all of it. The owner is from Wisconsin, so the cheese curds were left! They have lots of seating and a backyard… and a pool table!

Google
Really good wings and chicken tenders. Seems like a cool local spot. They have a pool table in the back and a bunch of board games. The happy hour looked solid as well.

I live around the corner-I have walked past here like 5,000 times over 17 years. Today i stopped in for a hamburger for lunch. The atmosphere was very nice , friendly service and the hamburger outstanding for a fair price. -I'll be back Joe D

Casual, comfortable, and a great meal! All items were tasty and nice sized portions/fair prices. Gentleman who was tending bar/serving during lunch was very kind and attentive. Definitely recommend if looking for a bite to eat in the area. Items ordered: Irish nachos Cheese curds Dram burger Smoked French dip Shrimp tacos

Yelp
Great ambience, plenty of screens, and an old-school charm thanks to the cozy booths. We came in with a small group to catch the Knicks game, and it hit the spot -- perfect energy for playoff season, however long the ride lasts. The food is seriously underrated: * The ribs fall off the bone -- rich, flavorful, and done right * The Mac and Cheese is flavorful, cheese is rich * The cheeseburger is a standout: a classic smash burger, perfectly seared and absolutely sublime * The taco salad bowl is a sleeper hit, served in a crispy, edible shell that's just fun to eat Whether you're in for the game, the food, or just a laid-back vibe with friends, Dram Shop is a Brooklyn gem worth checking out

Yelp
I wandered over here with my partner after a long morning of errands and total negligence on our part to eat anything. We were surprised by the number of options on the menu and the diversity of vegetarian options also available. For a Sunday morning there were alot of families with kids from the neighborhood having a great time. It seems like there are family specials and activities offered. There are plenty of tvs to watch sports and a few different seating sections. Fries were freshly made. Plenty of beer and drink options. Lots of dipping sauce availability. Great find.

Yelp
Did someone say frozen margaritas and signature happy hour food? Count me in for this local bar because they're serving up some of the best happy hour food - and they're located just outside of Manhattan! We enjoyed everything we tried at Dram Shop. From the juicy homemade bratwurst, to their signature tortilla soup, spicy wings, and seasonal frozen margaritas, you really can't go wrong! We loved meeting the staff! Everyone was so friendly and had wonderful stories to tell. We will be back to this local gem soon!

Yelp
My go to bar in park slope when I'm looking for great tasty food and affordable drinks. I love sitting in the booth it's very cozy while I watch some tv or see who's playing pool. The service is great the bartenders are lovely and have a great sense of humor.

Yelp
A local bar I hadn't had the chance to stop by & try before, but very happy I came in & will definitely be coming back. Sat at the bar to grab a happy hour drink & snack. Super quick & friendly service. The guys were very friendly & it's always nice to talk to people in the neighborhood. For a snack I ordered the Wisconsin Deep Fried Mac & Cheese Bites. Ooey gooey Mac & cheese on the inside & fried to perfection. Comes with a spicy ketchup to dip into, Could eat 100 of them!

Yelp
The munchies burger is very tasty but for $7 - I feel like I can get the same quality at Wendy's. The bartenders are nice but they aren't really in the mood of giving you recs and letting you sample different recs. That was a bit weird! It has a pool table and small backyard. My two beers were half off and with the $8 fries ... it was reasonable for $25 There are booths but I like the bar. The bathroom is unisex with individual stalls but you wash your hands outside the stalls.

Yelp
Food: 4.4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I enjoyed the wings and the dram burger. I ordered the wings plain with blue cheese on the side. They came out fresh, crispy, and meaty. Really good. The burger was also nicely prepared with the pickles sliced in an oblong fashion with fresh shredded lettuce and tomato. The meat patties were substantial, not like a lot of these smash burger places nowadays, though could have been seasoned a little bit more. There is a pool table in the back. You have to walk uphill to get here from the 4 avenue/9th street G train stop, but it's a good bar.

Yelp
Came to Dram Shop Bar during Restaurant Week and it was pretty good. I saw some reviews and was a little hesitant to come, but decided to try it out anyway and I'm glad that we did. It's seems like it's a chill, neighborhood bar. There's the bar area, tables, high top tables, and big booths. The booths can fit 6-8 people comfortably. The Restaurant Week deal came with a drink, 1st course, 2nd course, and a dessert. For the drink I chose Pinot Grigio which was pretty tasty. The 1st course was the wings for me, then I ordered fish and chips for the 2nd course. I wanted to try the sweet and spicy soy ginger wings but I was scared. Someone tell me how they are!! I couldn't find anyone writing about them in the reviews and the server wasn't convincing so I kept it safe with the BBQ. The BBQ was really good!! Well done, tender, and just enough sauce. The fish and chips were good too. The catfish came out piping hot and with remoulade sauce. The remoulade was just ok. Flavor was light, but it had a hint of spice. I don't like spicy so it was doable for me. For dessert, I ordered the brownie. The brownie was good and hot but I wish it would have come with ice cream. It came with whipped cream instead. Stole some of my friend's ice cream because she got the apple pie and that came with ice cream. Overall I enjoyed my meal. The service was good. He was very cool and accommodating. There was a pool table in the back and multiple bathrooms downstairs. Cool spot.

Yelp
I always pass by this s place in my way to cvs. It's always lively. I'm goad I stopped in for cocktails. The bartender made the most perfect Cosmo, the color was a perfect ballerina slipper pink! And the taste was a perfect balance! The food that was passing by looked amazing too. I'll have to come back for a meal next time!

Yelp
I visited The Dram Shop Bar for Halloween and was pleasantly surprised by their hearty pub food. I tried the Fish and Chips and I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The Fish and Chips were crispy and golden, just the way I like them. The fish was flaky and soft on the inside, and the fries were the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were a tad bit salty but nothing some ketchup can't fix. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the combination of lettuce tomato and bacon made for a flavorful and well-rounded sandwich. And the bread was super toasted and crunchy which is what I like. The atmosphere at The Dram Shop Bar is exactly what you'd expect from a cozy bar. It's a great place to unwind, catch up with friends, and enjoy a cold drink.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday night. It's was pretty busy. I like the setup of this place. Spacious bar once you walk in, and the kitchen is also located in the front by the bar. There are many seating options for you to dine in. There are huge spacious booths and a section with regular tables. Towards the back of the bar, there is a pool table. The music they play is pretty good. We started off with drinks. We ordered a modelo and a strawberry frozen margherita. Margherita was served in a big glass, and it was nice and strong. For starters, we ordered the chicken wings plain. We asked if we could have the sauces on the side. We asked for buffalo hot sauce, sweet and spicy, and mango habenero. Wings are nice , crispy, and flavorful. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger. There was hardly any bacon on the burger, and it was undercooked. We told our waiter about the bacon. He immediately took the burger back to the kitchen. He came back with the burger with extra crispy bacon. The hanger steak nachos was really good. Overall, it was good bar food.

Yelp
Once again, I'm blown away. How incredibly good is the Dram Shop, I was there for Knicks play-off game, the atmosphere was electric, and service was phenomenal. I had the fried chicken salad, and my friend Tammy had avocado toast. Both were fantastic! We also tried Smoked French dip au jus yum-o Don't get me started on how good Melissa and Jessica were to us, attentive, knowledgeable, and committed to making our dining experience the best ever! You got gold in those two! To management, thank you for awesome, good time! EC

Yelp
This bar has the best bar food I ever had! The ginger wings was absolutely delicious so flavorful. The drinks were a bit strong but who complains about a strong drink? The sandwiches were delicious as well. I will return for a burger! The service was spectacular. My waiter was super patient and attentive. It looks as if at nights can get very lively. There were outdoor seatings as well as games. I went in the afternoon with my son and there were a few people there working on their laptops. I'm sure it's a different atmosphere at night. I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Yelp
I hate to say this... but geez has this place gone downhill! The last time I got wings there were completely inedible (soggy skin and chewy meat) and I went in for lunch and got the most disappointing and expensive sandwich. Like there was only one, thin layer of meat, and it covered maybe 75% of the bread, with no cheese and barely any sauce (like I had to actively look for it)... $17. I'm really disappointed. I used to love this place.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great food. I normally come in for happy hour but, we missed it by 20 min so I ended up ordering the dram burger and it was AMAZING. So fresh, juicy and super filling - had to take the rest home.

Yelp
The food is very fresh and tasty. Also the ambiance was definitely refreshing as well cozy atmosphere The service was pretty fair.

Yelp
Watched the game at Dram Shop on Sunday afternoon. A great sports bar with plenty of televisions, excellent food and drink options, and a lively crowd. Quality: Dram Shop is the quality sports bar I have been looking for in Park Slope. They have the perfect selection of drinks, from domestic beers to local craft options. A large menu with a ton of solid bar food options. And enough televisions to make any football fan happy. In addition to a few beers, I snacked on the Cheese Curds and the Chicken Finger Basket. The Cheese Curds were a special for the Packers game, but should be on the menu always. Perfectly fried and great flavor. I also had the Chicken Finger Basket, which was solid as well. I really enjoyed the fries and love that they bring out a ton of sauces. Quantity: Solid pours and big quantities for food items. Value: $5-$10 for Draught Beers. $8 for the Cheese Curds. $11 for the Chicken Finger Basket. Ambiance: Dram Shop is a sports bar located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is one of the only bars I have seen take the step of incorporating televisions into their outdoor COVID seating. I wish I had seen it sooner, to take advantage on beautiful fall football days. Inside the space is long and narrow. A bar stretches about half the distance of the restaurant with four or five televisions on the wall. Some booths and tables stretch in the back with more televisions and a big screen. They also have a pool table, which was constantly in use during our visit. The audio to the Packers game played, with a few hip-hop songs taking over during halftime. Crowd: A decent crowd for Sunday football. With a Packers flag flying outside, I expected it to be a little busier for the Packers game, but there still were a good number of guests watching football. Service: Great service from the bartenders. Appreciated that they recognized many guests were hanging out to watch the game, so paced service accordingly. Parking: Limited street parking in the area.

Yelp
First time coming to this neighborhood bar. A group of friends of mine met up there after the gym on a Friday night. Good vibes without being crowded. Enjoyed the music in the background as I ate my burger and fries. That was tasty as well. Shout out to my server Tyler, which was awesome and friendly only to enhance my experience.

Mark G.

Yelp
Has gone way downhill. Bad service, mediocre food. Loud. What a shame - used to be a good spot.

Yelp
Love their happy hour food and drinks! Bar staff is funny and friendly!! Happy hour nachos are my fave!
google avatar

Nathalia N.

Yelp
Sit yourself restaurant/bar. It's kid friendly and the staff are very attentive. Food gets 3 stars, it's the typical, greasy, comforting bar food. Fried calamari has fried zucchini and jalapeños (weird mix), fried pickles were cut almost to full size, and although there isn't a chicken quesadilla on the menu - they will create one. Ambiance and staff gets the 4. Games available, darts, a pool table, staff are attentive and good music.
google avatar

Sounni D.

Yelp
Great staff, awesome food and a fun atmosphere makes this hard to find sports bar/restaurant a gem in the Park Slope community!

Yelp
Ordered delivery on Seamless. It was good , but not $50 good (burger & chicken sandwich only!) plus the driver picked up the food, which was done quickly, and proceeded to stop off to hang out apparently. I watched the tracker, which also said that HE was riding a bicycle, but SHE showed up in a car! So that bought them even more time. It was delivered within the original time frame, but was cold and soggy by the time it got to me! That wasn't the restaurant's fault, that was the Seamless driver's! But def overpriced, for cold takeout, that was like shake shack. Oh, and there are no beverages at all in their menu. Not even a can of soda
google avatar

Yelp
Tyler was awesome and very attentive. As regulars here, we love people who are kind and welcoming. Tyler let me try the frozen drink I wanted, and I ended up getting it (and it was super delicious!) Food is always good here too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun spot in the neighborhood with good drinks and food!

Yelp
Enjoyable sports bar, standard bar food. Tonight was a big Yankees game, so there was a good crowd and good service. My friends and I snagged a high-top table in the middle during happy hour and got to work. The happy hour (3-6pm) is excellent. $5 drafts and well drinks are the way to go. The selection of beer is decent, thought nothing exceptional. For food, we wanted to get a variety. An order of nachos with chili, fried pickles, chicken enchiladas (with green 'sauce'), and a fried chicken sandwich for my friend. Each dish had its pros and cons. From favorite to least favorite: enchiladas, nachos, pickles. The enchiladas were an underdog story; flavorful and hearty. Could be a bit more spicy. The nachos got soggy quite quickly, but the chili lives up to the hype. The pickle spears were weird, would not waste my money again on those. Lastly, my friend really disliked the chicken sandwich, comparing it to McDonalds chicken sandwich. Overall, several TVs to watch sports, two pinball machines, board games, giant connect-4, and friendly staff will all keep you entertained. Good spot, and I will be back Monday for half price wings!
google avatar

CHRISTINE Z.

Yelp
Came here with a large group of friends. We all got the burger (and one chicken fried sandwich). It was freaking amazing and it's been a while since a burger made me feel things. It was also a massive burger. The kind of burger that you go to Brooklyn to get. Toppings were well proportioned without being overwhelming; they checked off the basics and nothing more which made it great. Nothing overly complicated. Service was fast.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to live in park slope for 2 years and always passed by this place. The outside isnt very enticing but decided to finally check it out since I'm back in the neighborhood and it was open late; and mainly because I remember a friend telling me this place has good burgers. I came on a late Sunday night, was kinda confused upon entering if it was pick your own table or wait to be seated, so I just walked in and sat myself. Upon entering, all the seating at the entrance/exit were full. There's plenty of TVs up on the bar side wall that were playing sports. The art around this place was random/abstract. It took awhile to get service. He was very friendly. What was ordered: The Dram Burger - burger was good, the patty melted in my mouth. Tortilla Soup - a very interesting presentation. The soup tortillas mix was mixed and set in the bowl dry. The soup itself was in a pouring cup, that you pour into the bowl. So that was cool! The taste of the soup was nice, not so strong. Overall experience was good. I enjoyed the old school hiphop being played. I'll have to come back to taste more.

Adam L.

Yelp
Pretty lousy service from a young man working. Good food not the best atmosphere. I used to like coming here as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Kool spot. Good vibe. Good food. Friendly host and bartenders. Nice place to hang out and eat. A couple screens to watch the games while enjoying beverages and food. Good for groups. Definitely a good time.

Yelp
I loved the wood in Dram shop and classic bar look without the old scent that is sometimes expected from the beer. They also offer a pool table and shuffleboard for your entertainment or to break the ice on a date. Everyone is very friendly - patrons & staff. I only tried the drinks. My first was ok, but second was not. It took three modifications before I could drink it. I am happy the bartender was accommodating.
google avatar

A A.

Yelp
The website says 1/2 price margaritas on Wednesday but apparently they charge you full price. No refills offered on drinks. This place has gone downhill.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here late on a Sunday nite cuz this spot is open til 4am! Inside was super spacious and chill. Got served with menus right away. Got the dram burger cuz it seems to be the standout item. It was a solid burger, very tender! However, nothing really special stood out to me. My friend got the tortilla soup - definitely did not expect the soup to be poured separately. I liked the idea tho - very unique. Overall though, it was pretty light (healthier side?). Personal preference I would've liked something creamier/heartier Super friendliest staff tho! Good spot for late nite cravings.

Yelp
This is a neighborhood stalwart--used to frequent it back in the day, and have fond memories of a 30th birthday here (sadly a while ago) as well as watching the 2008 election returns here (also sadly a while ago). Anyway, I guess it's been some time, and I hadn't realized this had turned into such an exclusively bro/sports bar of late. Even the board/bar game selection seems a bit thinned out. Don't get me wrong--I like sports--but I seem to remember diverse craft beers and higher quality cocktails here than what's on tap now. Would there be something wrong with featuring sports with that kind of quality selection? One thing that fortunately hasn't changed a whit is their exceptional burger. Cooked to order in a bit of a California style, with two thin, juicy patties, shredded lettuce, large pickle slabs, mustard and mayo, this is a pure delight. Totally worth full price, but even tastier on half-price Tuesday night!

Sharron E.

Yelp
Came here for half price burger Tuesdays and I was not disappointed. I also had the soy and garlic wings, I was not expecting the spice but my family said it was spot on and they would not change anything. Definitely a place to put in our restaurant rotation!

Yelp
The search for the best burger in the South Slope continues, and the Dram Shop doesn't even make the top 10. In fact, I'd rate their burger only slightly ahead of McDonalds for taste, but the toppings were better. Also, it was really hard to eat without making a mess. I'm still giving the Dram Shop three stars because the onion rings were banging, the bartender/server was really welcoming, and the cocktails were good, although the maple Old Fashioned was too sweet.

Thomas D.

Yelp
This review's a bit overdo, but my last time at this place was truly a cursed experience. Went to watch football on a Sunday and an extremely drunk and obnoxious fan kept swearing at me and my friends because we were "cheering for the other team". None of us were trying to engage with this guy and he would not let up. The bartender timidly asked him to please stop "because there were kids here"....forget the kids, how about the paying customers quietly watching the game trying to ignore sh*tfaced old man river? Lol same group of friends and I were discussing where to watch the World Cup last weekend and our collective answer was "not Dram Shop". None of us are going back.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
Brooklyn really lacks in the sports bar department. Especially park slope/cobble hill/downtown Brooklyn areas. But dram shop is a gem and the closest you're going to get. The food here steals the show for sure. Whether it's wings and burgers while watching a game or ordering in, their food is some of my favorite pub food in the city. Have not had anything on the menu I wouldn't recommend, so chances are if you're interested, it's going to be great. My favs are the wings, chili is sensational, burgers are great if you like thin patties, and don't judge me, but I love their chicken fingers. Now if only a we can get some other half beer in there...
google avatar

Polina T.

Yelp
I ordered from here for pickup today and it was amazing! It never disappoints. I got the single burger and my husband got the Dram burger. This is one of the best burgers you can get in Brooklyn! It has the perfect amount of pickles, diced onions, and TASTE! Do yourself a favor and order the Dram Burger or the single burger (the single burger is the Dram Burger but with 1 beef patty instead of 2).
google avatar

Natasha W.

Yelp
Great place to grab food and watch a game. They have shuffle board, pool tables and a ton for board games. However, on a Friday or Saturday night it's packed, you'll likely not got a seat. The food is good quality bar food and a large beer selection. Definitely a fun place on 4th Ave. it's also right off the G,F and R.
google avatar

Yelp
Tall frosty glasses of beer, games, televisions, nachos, wings, and one of the best burgers in Brooklyn. No it's not heaven it's the Dram Shop. Dram Shop is a bar I've been going to for several years. Each time it's charm has warmed up to me more and more. After work with coworkers I no longer grouchily sigh that we have to go to a happy hour that is not thirty minute walking distance to my home. The place has a long bar area, with several small televisions up top. Nearby is a staircase that leads to a nice bathroom setup with a plentiful amount of stalls. Back upstairs, and past the bar, are tables with stools or nice plush booths. Excellent for groups. Televisions on the wall. There is table shuffleboard to the right. Darts and pool straight ahead. And an outside spot where people can go to kill themselves (seriously stop smoking). It could have the best pub food in Park Slope. The burger is no joke. Juicy and succulent, it's got it all. Their nachos are the bomb. Wings are alright. The food is really good. Explore the menu. My only concern would be coming here on a Friday, Saturday, or for a big sporting event. I've been here some Fridays and Saturdays where it wasn't bad at all. Though sometimes it was just too packed. Don't expect that much room, but you can peek in and setup there if it's good. Otherwise target happy hour or an off night.

Yelp
Food was ok nothing great, just a little over priced. Almost had a heart attack when I saw my bill for lunch for 2. I could've fed 6 ppl at McDonald's with that on bill. But other then that cool little spot

Yelp
I'm going to chalk up my first experience at the Dram Shop to them being super busy due to the festivities taking place during my first visit. I decided to give them another shot and I'm glad I did. My party and I walked and were immediately seated at a table. This is when I noticed the variety of board games and the pool table in the back! I Love establishments with board games! We ordered our drinks. Rachel was great! She suggested drinks. I went with her personal favorite (the Belle Isle) and I'm glad I did. Ameretto, Malibu Rum and something else. It was delicious. The burgers were amazing also! I'm in the area regularly. I'll definitely return!

Yelp
BEST PLACE EVER! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food is not just bar food, it is elevated deliciousness! The drinks are funky and fun. Amazing place to hang with friends, have a date night, watch sports, shoot pool, or just have a bite to eat.

Yelp
A truly great bar should do three things well. 1. Alcohol: It's a bar, stupid. Dram Shop has a very respectable beer selection. If I feel like it on Sunday, I can watch the Saints, drink Abita and pretend I'm in New Orleans. And they aren't crazy expensive either. 2. Bar food: Because I'm a pig, and I need to stuff things in my face. Dram Shop makes a great burger. I am not a proponent of thin patties, nor of cooking meat all the way through, but this is TASTY. Plus, they know that certain things go hand in hand, so there's no extra charge if you want to cheesify it. The fries are just about perfect, and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Speaking of which, I love the fact that they only have a few items on there. I would much rather a place make a few things very well, than many things mediocrely. I know that's not a word. 3. Entertainment: Games are fun, and fun is the best thing to have. Dram Shop has a pool table, and darts. And they have shuffleboard. But wait! There's more! They have board games on all the tables! Scrabble, Connect 4, AND Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit? I'm never leaving. There are also TVs. Huge, beautiful flatscreens for all your game-watching needs. Dram Shop is filled with awesome. Everywhere you look. And it's my new favorite bar. ______ Please note that some great bars can get away with only doing one or two of the three things well, but they are few and far between.

Yelp
Happy hour from 5PM - 6PM Mon to Fri -well drinks $3 - $4 -half off drafts -$6 margaritas Bar: -pool -shuffle board -board games Drinks: -Pineapple vodka - they use fresh pineapple juice so it costs a dollar extra, but so tasty! You can definitely taste the difference between fresh pineapple juice and the canned stuff. -beers are served in a huge, chilled mug Food: -Handcut fries with 3 dipping sauces - fries were delicious. chipotle mayo was my favorite. garlic aioli was OK. I would just stick with the chipotle mayo and not spend the extra $ on more sauces Seating: -Booths for large parties -High chair & tables

Yelp
Large enough space to drink with friends, play games, and have a fun time. Visited a friend in Brooklyn and he suggested Dram Shop. It was a first time visit for him and the rest of our group. When we arrived the place has plenty of seating and we took a large booth table. We spent about three hours at the bar and had a great time. Not really a divey or hipster bar, Dram Shop with it's dark interior felt more like a casual sports bar. Enough room and bar space to hangout. There's also darts and pool table we took advantage of. Bar service was very quick with our drink orders and checked on us frequently. Next time visiting in Brooklyn I would go back.

Yelp
Waited 30+ minutes and no one came over to us. Asked the bus boy send a server over and still no one came. Will not be coming back.
