After my tour, I liked the apartment enough to apply. Once I was approved, however, the communication completely fell apart. I didn’t hear anything about my lease or move-in details. It took 6 phone calls, 3 emails, and an in-person visit the day before my move-in date just to receive my lease. Never in a million years did I think I’d have to chase people down just to pay them and get the paperwork I needed to move in.
That should have been my warning sign. Upon moving in, they still didn’t have my fob or car decal ready — despite me paying $300 for them. Only after being persistent and waiting in the office did I finally receive what should have been given to me upon arrival.
Now, only three days into living here, I’ve been dealing with more problems. I was told on move-in day (and not before) that my room was having electrical issues. They said maintenance would come install a ceiling fan with a light — yet I still have no light in my room. On Tuesday, maintenance supposedly came by without telling me beforehand. I returned from errands to find a ladder left in my room, but no one present and no work done. I went back to the office and was told someone would be “right there.” It’s now been eight hours, the ladder is still here, there’s still no fan, and I have no idea when anyone will actually finish the job.
It’s unacceptable and frankly concerning to not know when someone will be entering your apartment.
Long story short: This place is not worth it. I’ve been here less than a week, and the experience has already been terrible. Unless you have unlimited free time to keep going back to the office to fix problems that should have been handled before you moved in, don’t bother.
UPDATE: Madison and Princess were extremely helpful and contacted Maintenance for me multiple times. After posting this review I was also contacted by corporate to resolve the issues. I appreciate that.
