Such a special, cozy spot. Classic fair. Friendly staff. Took me too long to find the underground hangout. Nice respite from the louder and warmer upstairs. Found a nice little nook to relax. Thanks all!

A quaint little Irish pub with an authentic owner from Dublin is a win in my book! They have an amazing outdoor seating area that we took advantage of after golfing. The drinks were wet and plentiful. The fish and chips were huge, but I ate till I was stuffed because it was so good! I highly recommend this place!

Waited 30 minutes to order, last called happened, then they seemed to have forgotten our food. So we waited another 30 minutes. The man working was very friendly and apologetic. He wasn’t the issue and didn’t take our order. When we finally got our food, not really even hungry anymore. We got some very “mid” food, not usual for here. The chicken wings still had feathers on them. So we threw out the entire order of food once we got home, because they “had to put them in Togo boxes” even though we ordered well before closing(1 hour). Super disappointed and would like my money back.

Dynamite Downtown Pub You can get some very solid Irish- inspired food here while enjoying their ample tap list. The man loved the Irish whiskey options available. We came for happy hour and had full bellies when we left. Be sure to try the shepherd’s pie. It’s something very special. The atmosphere and service are phenomenal. This is probably the best bar in LO.

A cozy Irish pub with good food and atmosphere and great bartenders! The Reuben was great but a little dry. Bartender was happy to add extra sauce and did not charge for the extra (thank you). The Sheppards Pie had a great flavor and the coleslaw was well above average (per the person who ate that). 4 stars because there are some things that should not be charged for, like $2 for a slice of rye bread (2-pieces) to sop up the rest of the Paddy's Reuben Dip. The dip had an awesome reuben flavor though it was a little soupy and hard to not dribble off the bread and onto your hand and lap, hence the need for extra bread. Downstairs was a bit crowded with the tables. The old shuffleboard table is not usable as the varnish has worn off. A few people tried to play it with no success. I recommend the upstairs bathroom (even though I did not see it) because the downstairs bathroom doubles as the utility room and as such was not the best bathroom. All-in-all this is a great pub we will return to.

This pub is amazing with great service (Sinéad) great food and great drinks! A little Dublin right in the heart of Lake O!

We sit outside because our dog goes wherever we do. They are super dog friendly on their patio. The food is amazing, I had the B Avenue Burger with the mashers, amazing! The Tullamore bacon jam is to die for! My husband had the bangers and mash which he said was excellent, and we've tried the Haddie Cakes, again the sauce was delicious. Kudos to the kitchen. The beer is cold and the drinks are strong! The music on the patio is always great fun! The servers and bartenders are friendly and always on top of things!

New name, previously Maher’s. New owners. Same cozy Irish pub charm. We decided to try something new for St. Patrick’s Day closer to home. Great food & drinks. Friendly service even after working a long St. Pat’s Day weekend. Great music. We’re very happy with our experience & will definitely be returning.

Love it! It's like 3 or 4 different establishments rolled into one. On my last visit I met travelers at the bar, had a quiet conversation and dinner at a table, played some games downstairs, and listened to live music in the back....it felt like I was on an expansive bar tour but really I was just wandering around the local pub! The fish and chips are amazing and the bartenders friendly and attentive! Cheers!

First time in. Sat in courtyard on a nice day. Nice outdoor space. Tree shaded patio in back. Started with the Brussel sprouts. Meh. Sprouts some bacon and a little feta cheese. We didn't get much and ate super dry. For the amount we got...about a buck a sprout. Needs some kind of sauce. Fish and chips. BIG piece of haddock. Lite and crunchy coating. Corned beef and cabbage. Corned beef tasty, mashed potatoes were good. Turns out I don't care for cabbage Good service

Disclaimer: My husband was raised in the UK and we've spent many an hour in authentic pubs throughout our adult life together. While we don't really expect to find a truly Irish pub experience in the US, there are plenty who try for decent food, hospitality and some decent brews on tap. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. I will give credit to the rustic vibe which does slightly resemble a small village pub you might come across now and then. And our server was friendly and attentive enough to warrant a decent tip. My husband ordered a half and half which is an equal mix of Guinness and Lager. He found it to be an uneven pour and light on Guinness. Not a dealbreaker, but that's the kind of thing you expect them to get right. But what really shocked us was what the kitchen was passing off as a Shepherds pie. This gold standard - everywhere - is a mix of ground beef (or lamb), peas/carrots, gravy sauce, topped with a thick layer of mashed potato and a spare bit of cheese. This pub reinvented some kind of gooey mix of oddly-spiced, over-cooked, ground meat topped with a thick, greasy layer of cheese and about a tablespoon of potato lost under all that. I didn't finish mine, brought it home and ended up tossing it. Both the person who greeted us at the door and the bartender gave off weird, unwelcoming vibes, which is kind of sad because this place could be a neighborhood gem with the right management and attention to kitchen details. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Another wonderful outing to Dullahan! We always get the Fish and Chips as it is lightly breaded and tender; the pepper on the fries is a bonus. The beer selection includes both local, US, and Irish favorites so everyone wins. They also have the canned NA Guinness for those looking for a NA option! The service is nice as they take care of you but don't rush you out the door. We are usually there during happy hour and it's fairly low key. The vibe is laid back and easy going which is great on a work night.

The food and drinks were great! The vibe was just right! But I do think our waitress completely forgot we were there (she was MIA for like 30 minutes and looked at me surprised when she came back). But it was fine. If it happens again, I will probably change my rating, but for now it's a solid 4.5 stars, rounded up because everything else was great!

There's something about the cozy atmosphere and delicious food that keeps me coming back for more. I go to The Dullahan Irish Pub in Lake Oswego and everything on the menu is delicious. -I've recommended it to friends and they've all loved it! On a fall day like this, you have to sit outside, right? It's warm, the wind is blowing, and I'm surrounded by my favorite people. +super friendly service!

Came here around noon with a couple of friends and it automatically felt warm and welcoming. They are kid friendly. We sat outside (stroller accessible) from side entrance and there were loads of tables to choose from either with or without shade. Bathroom was extremely well kept. The staff were going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. They noticed the baby sleeping and asked if the music needed to be turned down at all. It might look on the smaller side from the outside but they do have a downstairs as well. Great list of beers on tap. Capable of making off the menu cocktails. They were in the process of making sun tea! Which I thought was really cool. Brought back memories. We ordered the Rueben sandwich w/ fries and it was tasty. Made me wanna order more things off the menu. Everything hit above par for me and my friends. We even made the comment that if we lived here this would definitely be a regular place for us. Also the outside tables had fire pits if it gets on the cooler side!

Cozy pub/restaurant. Small and intimate place for a quick drink/snack. Tried a few items off their happy hour menu and thought they were pretty tasty. Love that they had a real fire crackling across the room.

Great place for standard bar type food, quick service and friendly wait staff. My husband loves the veggie burger, I think their hamburger is great... chicken wings also good. Wheelchair friendly.

Such great food, atmosphere, and drinks! The server was great too! They were accommodating and nice to our needy party.

We came here with a friend and his dog, so we sat outside on the patio, but the inside looks pretty cool in the Irish pub theme. The patio has a few tabletop fire pits, and they have a couple heat lamps. Our server was nice and the food came out really fast. They have a decent selection of beers (both local & international), along with quite a few whiskeys and other cocktail options. We all had the fish & chips, and all agreed it was the best whitefish fish & chips we've had on the Oregon side of the Portland area. The portion of fish is a generous 12 oz filet, along with a mound of crispy fries and a small scoop of coleslaw. The slaw was just the right combo of creamy & tangy, I just wish they would give you a bit more slaw. The fish & chips is pricey, currently $23, but considering the large portion of fish and the fact that food prices have gone up everywhere, it's in line with what other places are charging.

This place is great! We were looking for a place to get a quick drink Monday night at 8:30 pm and evidently every bar in LO shuts down early. Thankfully the light was on at Dullahan's and they were open until 10 pm. The service is very friendly. The owner and bartender were there and so welcoming. I had a solid Old Fashioned and they do not skimp on the pour. I liked the atmosphere too as it felt like we were in Ireland at a pub. We will absolutely return. I'd like to sit outside next time as the setting looked pretty rad.

Come here for the Craic!! Not an Irish accent amongst them but the place is filled with spirits and good craic. Chose a spot by the fire or by the bar. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Guinness or Black & Tan or Jameson's& Ginger Beer. They will serve it all. I found a new favorite in Sextons Irish Whisky. The pub fare is hearty and well prepared. We had Brussels and Irish bacon to start followed by Irish Stew and Fish & Chips. The Brussels were yummy and well seasoned. Fish was a huge slab and nice and tender. The Irish stew was hearty and served with soda bread.

Went here with a large group and reserved the basement. First off this place is a straight up dive bar. The basement was freezing cold and dingy as hell. They do have a shuffleboard game down there but it's basically worthless due to it not being level. Ordered the smoked wings and a burger. Was told that they are out of wings.... There is a Safeway next door. Go get more wings. Burger was alright but fell apart almost immediately. Much better places real close by. Will not return

The food was great for all 4 of us - we all had something different and none of us were disappointed. My salad was fresh and crispy and the salmon on the side was perfect. My Moroccan lentil soup (vegi) was insane! The beer/drink menu was varied and fun. The ambiance was true to the spirit of the menu. The service was really attentive and fun. I will definitely go back over and over again.

One of our friends is a local vocal coach and he was showcasing his students singing at Dullahans. My niece was singing so we went to support her. The venue was packed with locals. A cute, quaint Irish Pub we enjoy going to. Kids are welcome in the restaurant and I love that they have outdoor seating in the summer. We enjoyed some cocktails and listened to some great music. Everyone is always so friendly and I love that they participate in the community and allow these up and coming musicians to play in their establishment.

Had an event in the basement, kinda dank and musty smelling. Food was decent and drinks were fine. Friendly staff.

De li ci ous! I've been here twice to get a couple pints of true Guinness, food and service are all top notch and the outdoor area is fantastic! We got the Reuben dip to share - it's sort of a hot dressing with corned beef and cabbage in it, that you spread on toast. This sounds super simple but it's incredibly delicious! My only knock is that it should come with extra slices of bread to spread it on. There's plenty for 6 pieces of bread, but it only comes with 4. On my most recent visit I got the brisket plate. The meat was really good, well marbled and flavored. However, the standout of the plate were the brussel sprouts. They have chopped up slices of bacon and feta, perfectly cooked so they have just a slight give but still a bit of a crunch. I could eat these all day! The outdoor area is unexpectedly massive, and they have a tv in the outdoor bar area, which was perfect for watching summer Olympics.

I love whiskey but I especially love fish and chips. If you're in the neighborhood, you should definitely stop by and get yourself a shot of whiskey (or 2 or more) and try their fish and chips. The fish is light and tender, cooked to perfection and it's a huge serving so come hungry! I also tried their Reuben dip. It was something I've never tried before and it was really tasty.

This homey pub is a bit of Ireland smack dab in the heart of Lake Oswego. A cozy warren of rooms inside, spacious patios for warm weather enjoyment outside. Decor is befitting a proper Irish pub with lots of cheeky wall signs, a curved bar, and a fireplace to warm the long dark evenings. I love to cozy up in a booth with a pint and idle the night away. Prompt and friendly service, good selection of beers and whisky, and a righteous food program make this an all-around solid spot. Stick-to-your-ribs hearty Irish fare will keep you warm... or is that the whisky talking? If you're like me and love a cozy spot to curl up in (or a sprawling patio to lounge on in the warm months) get thee to this casual and welcoming pub posthaste.

The best and most authentic Irish ambiance, food, staff and bevies! In winter you can enjoy their cost home-hearth fireplace, and in summers enjoy the outdoor fire pits, music, tree canopies and festive lighting. Absolutely LOVE the Shepards Pie, Fish and chips and 5th Ave Burger (to die for!).

Not very neighborly or friendly, and sadly made for an unpleasant visit. Had the owner/manager either looked at our table or spoken with our server, he would have seen we were already leaving. As such, there was no need to ask the owner of the barking dog to leave --they already were. Instead of just keeping your mouth shut and having return neighborhood patrons, you had to embarrass my friends and the rest of the table -- and lose customers in the process. Very disappointing.

Great friendly service, small yet cozy interior & LOTS of outdoor seating, everything we ate was scrumptious. Generous portion fish-n-chips, savory Reuben, tasty bread pudding.

We were in town from SoCal for a wedding and were walking around the town taking in the sites when we found ourselves here. And damn am I happy we found this gem. It's an Irish pub in an old house. The bar and kitchen are in the main room. It's cozy and comfortable and was a great place to make new friends which we did. Loved talking to the senior couple who had a table specifically reserved for them with their own sign who apparently come here nightly for a beer and a bite. As for bites, we went with the Irish nachos with corned beef, minus the saurekraut, and wow did those hit the spot and I'm a picky eater. There is even shuffle board downstairs, which after a couple cocktails is interesting walking down the stairs but the atmosphere downstairs was fantastic. Loved our visit and if we're ever back in the area again I know where we're stopping. Always a good time in an Irish pub.

Charming pub founded years ago by a fine family. It has gone through several owners since, declining in each iteration. The Guinness is poured by slobs. Single draught in a shaker glass--all foam but no drowning shamrocks. Not a place for a Perfect Pour. The service was adequate and pleasant. The patio benefits from the natural climate. Bathrooms appear to have been attended to recently. I did not eat on this visit. It is an establishment on convenience for me, with no planned anticipation of patronage.

We came here for the first time because I love Guinness and am always looking for a great Irish pub. We sat outside with our dog who was given treats and a water bowl which is a huge plus. I had the fish n' chips because I have to always try the fish n' chips anywhere I go. It rated in my top 2 for sure. The batter is very light which I love and it was an entire fish! My husband is also a picky Reuben eater but he says this was the best Reuben he has had. We will definitely be back.

We ate the fish and chips. One large 12 ounce fillet, much more fish than the usual three pieces served elsewhere. Service is excellent. Seating inside or outside. Plenty of shade trees nice on hot, sunny days.

We stopped in for dinner and to hear live Irish music, the best part of any true Irish pub. The fish and chips were great, with a good beer selection, friendly and warm atmosphere. We had to go downstairs to find the music but it was excellent.

Updated: Have eaten here many times now and while the outdoor seating area is one of the most pleasant in town, the food doesn't quite warrant 5 stars. But 4 ain't bad! Everything on the menu is at least decent. The shepherd's pie is a little odd but it's tasty. Irish stew is pretty good. Burgery stuff pretty good. The fish part of the fish and chips is enormous, looks like a baseball mitt.

We came here randomly one night during the week to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful and food was really good. We came back on a Saturday night and it was packed, but food and service was just as good.

I was at the post office and noticed it was right across the street. Ambiance was great but happy hour food was below expectations. I think I will try their dinner menu next time.

I'll come back here only if the owner, Justin, hands this pub over to someone else. I will never give him a cent of my money, nor will the other 16 people who were going to accompany me yesterday for lunch. Six weeks earlier I spoke to Justin asking if he could accommodate this number of customers. "Sure, no problem, call me the day before to confirm." I did so as agreed. (I would've liked to have had the luncheon on Friday - St. Patrick's Day but it was understandable when he explained that the pub would be busy preparing a few days beforehand for St. Pat's. He actually counted backward as to which day would work for him and we settled on Tuesday, three days before Saint Pat's. I asked him if he was sure that Tuesday wouldn't be a problem for him. He assured be that it wouldn't.) As agreed, I called him the day before my event to confirm. This turned out to be one hellish of a one-way conversation - with him not listening, talking over me telling me there was no way he could make this accommodation, that he didn't have enough food on hand and he didn't want to order more because it could go bad, that he had had low customer attendance the weekend prior, etc, Nothing he said had to do with me or our agreement and he actually blamed me when I expressed my disappointment (now I would have to contact all 16 people to cancel at the last minute).

Many times there is good music n pretty good food but they cannot handle the crowds. Long waits, cold food, lost orders, lost our credit card once - not sure we will be back. It's too bad...

I want for the fried haddock that was mentioned on a TV spot I saw on the soft news local channel. The fish I ordered was cooling off by the time it got there. They moved a sign behind my chair, but didn't ask me to move, so people were struggling to get by me. I had to assess the situation and move. Unlikely to drive there and search for the home it's located in.

Lots of dawdling here when it comes to fixing drinks, let me tell you. Service is slowwww. Rum and diet overpriced. No servers available sometimes. Kaching!

Comfortable and laid back pub with excellent food. Sitting outside is a treat in the summer and the large patio is dog friendly. Knowledgeable staff all around and a plethora of fine libations.

The waitress was rude-- told my kids to sit down while we had just got situated at the table. They were happy about the music and doing the most minor of dance. Then, I ask for 2 Shirley temples "not too sweet." She brought out the sweetest most syrup disrespectful drinks one could make. I returned them. She remade the drinks in a an opaque glass as though she thought it was going to play some kind of Jedi mind trick on us. THEN, I asked for Cabernet from Napa. She assured me "they are full bar and have everything." I said "NAPA" about 4 times... she brought out some rot-gut from Washington. She disappeared and handed us off to another waiter, a man... clearly she told him whatever she wanted and he was short with me-- throwing the food down; but, then coming by later to see if we needed anything. These people are morons. The girl has short bleached blond hair, with black roots-- clearly does not know her ass from her elbow... or maybe she does; but, she decided to be disrespectful af. I'm not sure why.... My kids are of mixed race.

The Irish stew was absolutely amazing and for a whiskey tried the red breasted 12 year old. The court is inviting and staff was very friendly. I strongly suggest supporting small businesses and give them a try

Having been here half a dozen times, and each time able to walk in where we are quickly told "sit wherever you want", we talked in today and sat down. After about 8 mins, a waitress rudely turns to us and says "you have to check in or we don't know you're here" I know waiting tables is hard but the wait staff can change the whole mood of the meal. Hopefully she has a better day tomorrow. Today was not her day.

Poor service, had to go to the bar twice to find a server, but she was very friendly. Way over priced, $17 for a burger, which was very over done, hard, fries were not hot, I would never go back, wasted my money and time

Back for more Irish Beer and great grub! Sat inside by fire place (all to ourselves...cozy) and enjoyed the brew and appetizers. Staff (owners) are good people doing a wonderful job. Love the atmosphere of this little pub!!!!

A cool place that is located off the busy streets in the Lake O area. The place looks like it used to be a residential property back in the days. The inside has a nice 'homey' feel with a fireplace in the main room. They offer a wide range of beers and spirits. The customer service is friendly and server/bartender will make sure you are taken care of.

Fabulous local pub! Love meeting and hanging with friends here. Best of all, good food, drinks and DOG Friendly.

I love Dullahan. After our last trip I believe they are totally five star review worthy. Our service was so casual, friendly and enthusiastic. I really wish I had caught our server/bartenders name. He rocked it. We enjoyed our whiskey outside. They have a smoking and non-smoking section. All very laid back and cozy like. No pretentiousness to be found, not a scrap. Prices are Lake O but not too bad overall. The fish and chips! Haddock served with the whole fillet fried in a light crispy batter. It was awesome! Our server recommended it and he hit the nail on the head. This pub is off the beaten path but totally worth our trip up from Oregon City. Fish and chips were great. Service was bloody outstanding!

What a great experience at The Dullahan Irish Pub! Their fish & chips, burger & fries were delicious. It was wonderful to meet Justin, one of the owners, and to sit outside. Next time I will try a beer. Looking forward to many more visits!
