We stopped by thanks to a click bait article mentioning this place as one of the top seventeen places for Pierogies in Pennsylvania. Honestly they were nothing special but overall our lunch was good. Would definitely go back.

We go to the Dutch on the first Sunday of each month to see our friends in the band 90 Proof. We have always had EXCEPTIONAL service & good food. Our waitress, Nicole, is really nice & very attentive. We look forward to seeing her each month. Special shout out to Ryan for putting such a great Sunday crew together. We are looking forward to being back next month.

Ive been a patron of the dutch for many years. Even did a brief stint bartender there, which i absolutely loved. Recently we suffered a tragic loss in the family and used the dutch for catering needs at a local brewery. The dutch not only provided us with incredible food, but Genny and Mike were so kind as to help deliver and set up the food, so I could attend the full funeral service. It truly is like a little family there. Everyone takes pride in what they do and they truly care about their customers. From the food to the staff and the atmosphere, you will never have a bad experience. Thank you so much Genny and Mike for helping us through such a difficult evening. The food was delicious and we are so appreciative of you!

The Dutch is such a great place to hang out. Love the mozarella sticks, boneless wings, chicken tenders and burgers. Since the recent renovations, it’s welcoming and clean. Genny, Ryan, Mike etc best bartenders of all time. “Enter as strangers, leave as friends” truest motto ever.

In attempting to book a private event, I was told I needed to look elsewhere because I requested a private area and I wanted to bring my own food. The website states in multiple places that bringing outside food is allowed. It also does not inform you anywhere that your event will be open and shared with customers. My questions were barely answered and it did not seem like they were interested in my business from the start. I’ve never been here, and will certainly not be after this. The contact I was dealing with via email was Genny.

We had the pleasure of going to the Dutch last night for the first time. For basics, the food is incredible and reasonably priced. The clientele seemed great as well as it was a mix between older and younger and all were respectful. The best part of this was our experience with the bartender outside, Paige. This bartender was amazingly pleasant, I don't think I waited more than 30 seconds for service because she was constantly checking on everyone, and easily went out her way to make sure we had a great experience. We will literally come back to this place (which is not a close drive) just because of how great our experience was. If Paige ever reads this we would like to say thank you again for a great Saturday night experience. I would also like to mention that there was a gentleman that was working the door as you walk outside to the patio. I do not know his name but he seemed to have red hair and a red beard. He was very polite and patient with us as we first came out and asked some questions. Even when I went back that way to ask where the bathroom was, he could have said "walk in there and look to the left" but he did not. He said please go through the door, then go through the other doorway, look to your left and it will be the first door on the right. We had a wonderful experience and definitely will be back. I gave this 5 stars, but I had to take away 1 star in the service department not because of these people, but because there was another bartender outside working with Paige who was extremely rude to almost everyone he came in contact with. He took my own empty drinks and threw them out without asking if we would like another, he pounded a beer bottle in front of another customer instead of asking if the customer wanted another one (don't bartenders hate when you do this to them?), I heard him yell at some women that were there because it took them a minute to pull out a credit card and he said "WHY WOULD YOU COME UP TO THE BAR WITHOUT BEING FULLY PREPARED TO PAY ME?!". I heard other customers apologize to him a lot because they felt uncomfortable and I also saw some other customers explain to him that they weren't happy with the attitude. Once again all the staff outside of this one bad apple were amazing, we overall had a great time, the prices were great, the entertainment was great, the food was great and we will definitely be back! Thank you again! P.S. give Paige a raise she deserves it :)

We have held several events here and the service is excellent. The owners and staff have turned this place around in just a few short years. From a place you didn’t want to stop at to a place you love to go to. Live bands and karaoke nights are especially fun! The food continues to impress. Definitely give this place a try!

Had a great time last night out in the back bar. Ryan the bartender went above and beyond with our table of 4. Was very attentive and so courteous and we all had a great time always ask for Paige and Ryan

I was fairly new to this place. I walked in, asked for a menu at the bar after getting a drink but was ignored. After an hour of waiting, and watching other regular customers getting served, I completely lost my appetite for this place. At that point it wasn't worth even getting another drink after waiting almost another hour to pay for one that I ordered then I just left. This is a typical, cookie cutter local bar, they focus on the regulars so being new here made me feel 3rd class. Never going here again.

The food is good. Nothing fancy, but tasty diner/bar fare. The service is very good. The ambiance is uninspiring, but there are plenty of tables and even patio dining.

Have eaten here a couple times. Food has been on point each time. I split a burger and a cheesesteak with my son and both were delicious. Very good wings as well. Cool Vibe here! Will be going back soon

Different cheesesteak #1080 in the last five years. On the outskirts of quaint little Skippack sits this lively neighborhood bar where I am pretty sure everyone knows each other's name. I think everyone goes to The Dutch for everything other than the cheesesteak. I went for the cheesesteak. It was a good bar cheesesteak. It came with french fries. Under $10 and you know I love that.

Crowded, service is decent. Food is bar food and good if that's what you're looking for. Don't plan on having a conversion with anyone because it's extremely loud. And, yes you can still smoke in there and it smells like it as soon as you walk in the door. Hard to find parking when it's busy.

We went to have a late lunch here. They have remodeled and it looks beautiful with a new front porch area. We went out on back patio area and were stunned that they allow smoking right at the bar. It stunk so bad we had to leave.

Every time I come into this place, I feel nothing but welcomed, Mike, Nicole, and Jen amongst the other bartenders are super quick with their service. The food is always consistently good. Friday night karaoke is my favorite place to be in the whole world. You want a good local bar with good food, friendly faces and great service? Go to the Dutch in Skippack.

Been here a few times for an Eagles game and now recently during this Covid restrictive times. I really like this place. Fantastic food. The Cheesesteak was awesome and the potato skins were amazing. They now have a very relaxing outdoor area in back and our server was really great Friendly and attentive. A nice beer selection to. Along with the usual suspects their are a few craft taps and Workhorse Brewing Co. Is always on. Nice price too. Really enjoy this place and it's now a great pit stop on my bicycling excursions. Also there was the sweetest puppy just chilling there on a Sunday afternoon.

If you're into dive bars then this place is for you. I felt like a fish out of water in the place. The food was typical bar food. My drink was underwhelming. I tried hard to have a different perspective but the place didn't sit well with me.

Nice restaurant to hang out at. They have a great selection of beer and food. We had a few appetizers and enjoyed the outdoor seating. The staff was really nice and courteous.

Smoking establishment (you have been warned), although they do a good job of airing out the joint, so you won't walk out wreaking of smoke. This is a locals bar and dive-ish, but they make some amazing food, especially the wings. A ton of flavors (16?), with some packing some serious heat. I recommend the bocce with garlic myself. Decent craft beer options on draft. The Workhorse West Coast IPA was solid and $5.50 a pint, so very reasonable. Our server was also the bartender and she didn't skip a beat. Super friendly and did not leave us waiting one bit. Happy to finally check out THE DUTCH!

First time here for patio dining for a late lunch. I was really impressed. The owner was friendly and the server was great. Food was delicious, obviously freshly prepared and service was good. The new patio out back is really lovely. I'm don't live close but will credibly return. I'm very Covid safe and I felt fine eating al fresco here. Thank you!

Perfect local spot with a no frills edge to it. Recently added a nice outdoor area, house smoked BBQ on the weekends, and they also went non smoking inside as well! Great food and atmosphere. WELCOME TO THE DUTCH!

Great bar great food, but the reason my wife and I go there is the service. Mike and Torri..are the greatest bartenders ever, always pour a great drink and actually acknowledge you unlike a lot of bars. Go to the Dutch and ask for Mike or Torri!

This place, you probably drove past a million times! Next time stop if you are in the mood for wings. Unbelieveable! Best wings around. We got take-out Spicy Plum and Cattleman's Gold are two different sauces and so good! Quite the treat! Will be back!

Great local sports bar in Skippack. They have a large selection to choose from. My favorites are the steak rolls and the cheese steak sandwiches. Nice atmosphere and we enjoy the outside bar with live music.

The smell of cigarette smoke upon entering made me sick. Walked out and never returned.

Three words: plum sauced wings! They are so delicious and a flavor I have never seen anywhere else. Staff is really good and always on the ball. Never upset about the drinks either.

I was at the dutch tavern tonight and I must say it is probably the best service I ever had my bartender/server was nicole she was incredible I never had a better bartender as soon as I was finishing my drink she was right there to ask if I wanted another I will be going back it might be my new favorite place

Somewhat busy. The 5 of us sat down and never had a server even acknowledge us. Table of 2 sat almost 10 minutes after us, and was acknowledged within minutes. After almost 20 minutes we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere.

Well, I've never done a bar review, we'll dive-ish bar review, but here it goes. This place is fun! You can smoke in here so if that's something that's not tolerated, I'd highly recommend to not go here. It can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights--later in the night--but I've never had an issues with getting a drink. The bartender is very much on top of things. Shockingly, this place also had a decent wine selection--something not too common in this type of establishment. Surprisingly, this place is pretty diverse. I mean, it's not the United Nations, but it's not as rural as you'd think. Friday is karaoke and when there's a DJ on Saturday nights, you can dance! The food is also really good.

What was a solid, local dive, with good food and reliable service, is no more. Nowadays, forget both. The food started to take a dump a short while back. Place an order, via phone, while having the rep repeating the order accurately, and trusting that the order will be packaged properly, is an exercise in futility. Guaranteed that if you order 3 items, at least 2 will be in error.

The outdoor bar service is spectacular. They are busy but you'll never wait for a drink. Bartenders are super friendly (Paige took care of us most of the night). Will definitely be back.

A good place to go, and the best BLT in Montgomery County. The Skippack burger is always good, too. Good beer list and the bartenders are friendly. We tend to go mid day because it gets crowded on the weekend evenings. Yes, people smoke but it is not very many so it's tolerable. ladies room is always very clean.

The Dutch has some of the best American bar food around. Everything is done the way I would do it! The barbecue on Friday Saturday and Sunday though? The brisket did not need the side of barbecue sauce that it was served with, it's so tasty on its own. And tender?! Yum! I don't like to give out too many of my favorites on Yelp because what if they run out before I get there!? But if you get a barbecue plate, you have to try the baked beans. Pretty sure they're better than any version I've ever done! The Mac and cheese is a must have also. The macaroni is done to the right firmness and the cheese is... It's probably a good thing that they serve it in a proper portion size because if it was buffet I would probably just take the whole chafing dish! Nicely done Mike! Great job! The bartenders are great and attentive and willing to make anything you might present them with, like a gummy bear shot (which one of my coworkers ordered). Such a great local spot. I can't say enough!

We ate at the back patio. It's adorable! The food was also very good. It's bar food, but really good bar food. The bar inside is a bit of a dive bar, but the outdoor patio is adorable- clean, cute, and fun!

Very pleasant experience! The food was excellent and the service staff are polite. I would recommend stopping in for a burger and mozzarella sticks!

Great bar food! While still not dining out due to COVID we get carryout wings, etc to go with Eagles games. Wings here are great and service is always friendly. Sunday I went to pick-up carryout and on Monday I found that my credit card was missing. I looked around home and then realized the last place I used the card was at the Dutch Cottage. I called and they had the card. I ran over and after providing ID I had my card back and a it was big relief for me. Try the food at this place, I'll be back when I start dining out again.

What can I say about the Dutch that isn't in the reviews. Classic local bar with good food, friendly server and lots of regulars. The bar is smoking so beware but it was tolerable. Had a bacon cheeseburger that was tasty and well cooked.

Casual and welcoming environment. The Savants acoustic duo was playing and made for a wonderful laid back evening.

This was our first time at the Dutch. Great burger and fries! The boneless wings were also delicious! We will be back.

Hidden gem! Ordered for takeout and picked up inside. Had the Viking burger and the loaded fries to split. Burger was good; the brioche made it. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted. I'll be back for sure.

I was a passer-by and I decided to grab some takeout food. It was delicious! I got a Diesel salad, Mac & Cheese and pierogis. I would definitely go back because I love the dive bar type atmosphere. As a non-smoker I have to drop a star because of that reason. Oh, and I saw they have a pool table which is pretty cool!

During the Covid lockdown, we ordered takeout burgers for National Burger Day. Burgers and fries were delicious! Best burgers we've had in a while. We had never eaten here before but will definitely be returning!

The atmosphere is always welcoming. This is one place where you can go alone, bring friends. You feel welcomed either way, and engaging in conversation, or just warm smiles. The food here for is Ra nice estabilished Restaurant quality for sure. From Fried pickles done right, secret wing sauces to die for, Grilled cheese which aint your Mommas. I literally smiled while eating there grilled cheese. That's not even thefe dinners. It's festive, and fun. Friday's is karaoke. Saturday usually live Bands. Weekdays has a special each night, with the best loyal customers, and bartendars around. I wish i could give it ten stars :)

Comfortable old school bar, first time trying it, food was great. Yes, you must try the onion soup.
