The Dutch Maastricht, a Design Boutique Hotel Maastricht, Netherlands

"The Dutch Maastricht is situated in a town house in the district of Wyck, which is known for its shops, bars and restaurants. Free WiFi is provided. Each guest room is individually designed and features modern facilities. These include air-conditioning, comfortable beds, flat screen TVs with more than 100 channels, in-room coffee and tea, room service from restaurant Harry’s, complimentary minibar and sufficient power outlets for all mobile devices. Enjoy a gin & tonic in the Lobby-Bar or have a free cappuccino or espresso in the hangout where you can work, play games and relax. The hotel does not serve a traditional breakfast as it is surrounded with many breakfast spots. It does provide a daily complimentary breakfast bag as a healthy start of the day. From July, guests benefit from a social meeting space on-site called the Hangout room. Vrijthof is 900 metres from The Dutch Maastricht, the station is 200 metres away, while St Servaas Bridge is 400 metres from the property. The nearest airport is Maastricht-Aachen Airport, 8 km from the property." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Had three nights at The Dutch whilst attending an Andre Rieu concert. We chose it for its proximity to the train station and access was even easier than anticipated. |Whist we didn’t realise it was a self-service hotel where you check-in yourself, everything went smoothly and the room allocated on the 1st floor was, as requested, served by a lift. The room itself had aircon and was large and well appointed: and, whilst overlooking the front of the hotel, was extremely quiet. Bed was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with handwash and shower gel. The bath with shower over was large and whilst access was fine when everything was dry, a grab handle would have assisted egress when the bath was slippy.|Breakfast was typically ‘continental’ but plentiful and unlimited coffee was available all day.|The Vrijthof was a pleasant and flat fifteen minute stroll, with lots of cafes and restaurants and shops along the way.|All in all, an enjoyable and trouble free stay.

This hotel is perfectly situated to explore all that Maastricht has to off both sides of the river. A short and very pleasant walk takes you over the oldest bridge into the historic centre of the city.||The hotel is small but exquisitely presented giving of friendly vibes in a quiet unassuming way,||The rooms and facilities are all and more that you would expect to find in a hotel of this size.||The staff are always friendly and available but unless you need them you wouldn't see them necessarily||but they are always at the end of the phone.||The facilities are all that you would need and the honesty bar is a refreshing addition as is the freely, always available coffee facilities in the hangout.||||This is my second stay there and I look forward to other stays in the future

Great hotel, 10 minutes walk from the centre. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff who could not do enough to assist. The check-in is self-service which was novel for us - worked very efficiently. The price of the hotel was expensive compared to similar hotels in the UK and Ireland but this reflected the demand at the time we visited due to the concert in town.

Booked as we were going to see Andre Rieu, having been to Maastricht before, we decided to try the Wyck area, and the hotel didn't disappoint. The hotel was a short walk to Virjthof Square and in a great location surrounded by plenty shops and restaurants. Also a five minute walk from Train/bus station. Self check in and easy, and if anything was needed, staff were close at hand. A perfect stay.

It’s a nice hotel but rooms are very (too) simple according to the price. The staff is nice but it’s a self service hotel. Breakfast is simple. There is lactose free milk. The concept of “honesty bar” is interesting (even if i didn’t use it).

It is a self service concept which is working very well. The rooms are spacious, the beds are great. The bathroom is a little small, but ok. The hotel is situated in the district Wijck with many restaurants etc. nearby. Also the center can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.

Fabulous room, although being on ground floor, heavy footed guest above could hear the footsteps late at night and early morning. Otherwise a perfect location and fantastic accommodation.
