The 18 Best Restaurants in Park City, Utah

"Regulars have gathered at this Main Street diner for more than 50 years, but in 2017, Salt Lake City local and actor Ty Burrell, of Modern Family fame, bought and spruced up the joint with his wife. Breakfast is still served all day, and the signature farfalle and egg scramble with sweet sausage, bacon, spinach, and basil, topped with a pile of Parmesan, is a requirement. For lunch and dinner, fuel up on comfort food like juicy wagyu burgers (Impossible and Beyond are also available), spicy fish tacos, barbecue baby back ribs, and pillowy burrata ravioli." - Katie Shapiro

"Long Established Breakfast Fave One of the oldest restaurants in Park City , the "Double E," as locals call it, opened in 1972. When I first lived in town in the mid-1980s, they'd have $1.95 breakfast specials of eggs and bacon. Can't beat that. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the stick-to-the-ribs breakfasts are what they're really famous for. Try the signature Miner's Dawn, seasoned potatoes with melted cheddar cheese, topped with basted eggs and served in a skillet with wheat toast."

The food could and should do better, especially at that price point. Had a New York steak ordered medium rare and it was brought well done, which sucked the life out of the meat. Their "chimichurri" is some odd either creamed or blended green sauce instead of authentic chimichurri which never has that consistency as shown in the pic, you actually see the fresh parsley bits, minced garlic and other pepper bits/flakes when its properly made with an olive oil base. The mashed potatoes were the highlight of a 48 dollar plate. Their spicy margarita was also good, so there's that.

The Shakshouka was certainly nothing like what it is meant to be. It was fried eggs and not poached eggs in a sauce of tomatoes and peppers. The whole dish was some sort a potato and tomatoes stew with fried eggs on top. Way too many potatoes. The burger was average. The fries and the drinks were good. We ordered hot Toddy which was good and the Margarita was customised to my taste. The serving staff was friendly, warm and attentive.

My Uncle Jeff Barnard owns this restaurant! I am honored to be able to enjoy such delicious and well served food! This is the best restaurant in Park City. The selection on their menu is full of variety. I love Jeff’s Waygu Burger! It is amazing! The environment is quaint and comforting with a rustic, classic vibe. I always stop by when I am in Park City to enjoy a bite to eat with my husband. Thank you for introducing our special family recipes to others Uncle Jeff! Eating Establishment is outstanding! :)

Google
Stopped in for an early dinner. They had the bar menu only which was fine. I ordered the Irish nachos. Those chips were delicious, wish the cheese was spread out a little bit more on the bottom of the plate of chips, but it was fine-they were delicious anyway. I would definitely come back To try the regular menu

Google
The place is cozy, only one waitress though so the service was kind of slow.... the food ain't all that. My waffle tasted like it was made out of dust and my coffee was rancid.

Google
We went here on a Saturday and didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us at the counter. Service was friendly and quick! We had the potato omelet, French toast with lemon curd and the jalapeño mac & cheese. The potato omelet was good but the French toast as well as the mac & cheese were fabulous! We went at about 10:30 am and were able to get street parking right in front (you do have to pay but it's $6 for 3 hours).

Google
This might become of our go-to spots in Park City. Nice and quaint inside. Great for drawing up business ideas on a napkin that’ll never materialize. The eggs benedict is pretty good. Just wish they had chocolate chips for the pancakes!

Google
Nothing special about this place I hate saying that.Food needed more flavor more seasoning. My daughter got the buttery noddles she didn’t even like it. I got the wagyu burger ehh it was cooked exactly how I wanted it but man no flavor at all.My wife got fish taco same thing no seasoning 🧂 and on the menu it said it’s a very popular option deff wouldn’t recommend it.Maybe it was just the cook that day but I expected more for the price I paid it’s expensive !

Yelp
The food was fantastic! Had the Eggs Benedict and Oatmeal & Quinoa and both were some of the best I've ever had. Service was great, despite the place being very packed and having to wait for a table. And being right off Main St was really nice!

Yelp
This is definitely one of the TOP brunch dining establishments in the Park City Area. I highly recommend you visit this place if you are looking for a cozy brunch. Considering the place was a popular attraction, we only waited 5-10 minutes to be seated when we came in at 9:30 AM on a Saturday Morning. Toward 10:30 AM, it started to get really busy and likely longer wait times. The ambiance was simply excellent. It offered a local, cozy, warm, and welcoming environment which featured vibrantly quirky artwork and decorations. The restaurant had an eclectic charm with bold, unconventional decor that made it unforgettable. There was some music and the environment felt fun with all the other joyous groups of friends and families seated around us. Additionally, our server was great! He constantly came to check up on us and was very accommodating, being ready to bring out any requests we had throughout our experience. Upon requesting additional toast, it was free of charge--this is actually one of the best parts! The food was nothing short of excellent. It had wonderful texture, delicious flavors, and great portion sizes. I highly recommend you visit The Eating Establishment if you're in the area.

Yelp
Food was tasty and in terms of Park City the prices were reasonable. Like other reviewers stated, the service was subpar. We had to constantly get our servers attention for refills, ordering, etc. Would I wait in line to eat here? Perhaps, as not many solid and reasonably priced brunch locations in this area. Depends on how cold it is outside....

Yelp
I've been dining at The Eating Establishment for a few years now and have always loved it, but I honestly feel the quality and service isn't as on point as it's been in the past. For starters, I recommend getting there early for breakfast & brunch on the weekends, or you may risk standing in a very hefty line down Main Street! They are always so packed, so if you're looking for a social meal with a quaint feel, this is a great spot. My friends and I rave about their house coffee - it's truly a perfect brew of Joe. I ordered the huevos rancheros and was satisfied with the serving size, although I wish it had a bit more flavor to it. Still, their meals are filling, there's a full bar with great Bloody Marys, and it's worth the visit while you're out exploring the beauty of Park City.

Yelp
Cozy, affordable great spot for brekkie or lunch. They have 2 fireplaces in both rooms. Went with the espresso martini, and a cheeseburger and Irish nachos. Service was fantastic.

Yelp
Came in for breakfast on this Friday morning. We were sat fairly promptly and had were greeted right away. Food was fantastic! The reason they are getting an overall bad rating is explicitly due to service. Our waitress never came by to check on us during our meal to see how things were or to get us any sauces or whatever we needed with our meal. I also was never brought my espresso martini I ordered but at least it wasn't on our bill so whatever. Overall would go back for the food!

Yelp
First time eating here, we will for sure be back, great food and kind of out of the way, not a lot of seating but it was well worth the hunt for a place to eat. I would recommend this restaurant, want to come back and try dinner time menu!
google avatar

Austin G.

Yelp
This place was indeed an establishment for eating! Many great hand-crafted items that were delicious and the service was exceptional! We went here on a double date and everyone loved their meal. The burger was fantastic and make sure you ask for the dessert menu, that had an absolutely fantastic cheesecake!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped here for breakfast during a quick getaway trip to Park City. We went on a Tuesday morning in mid-August and there wasn't a wait so we were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and prompt. The food came out very quickly and we weren't left waiting for anything for more than a couple of minutes throughout the meal. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and my partner got the Pork Hash Skillet. Both were great. My partner loved all the veggies in his skillet. The hollandaise on my Benedict was delicious. The inside of the restaurant where we sat was bright and airy, with vaulted ceilings and lots of big windows. I would come here again the next time we're in town.

Yelp
A great place for a meal in historic Park City is The Eating Establishment. I made a reservation for my family for a Sunday evening dinner. Having the reservation was great as it allowed us to travel into the heart of the historic city with no worries about finding a table at any of the restaurants. They have a stellar drink menu, including a very good Manhattan. There is also a great beer list, though only a few choices on draft. If the Red Rock Elephino is available, give it a try if you are into IPAs. For dinner, I went with the BLTA with heirloom tomato, green leaf lettuce, bacon, avocado, and roasted garlic aioli ($20). I had this with a really good side salad and you must try Grandma Mary's vinaigrette with any of the salads. Delicious! My wife had the fish tacos, the most popular item on the menu, which combines grilled halibut with a creamy cilantro dressing on flour tortillas with black beans, chips, and salsa ($23). She really enjoyed the fish and the salsa was surprisingly good for it not appearing anywhere else on the menu. One of our kids enjoyed the buttery noodles from the kids' menu ($12) while the other loved that they had breakfast all day and went with a tall stack of pancakes ($15), which was indeed a stack of 3 very large pancakes.

Yelp
Last day in Park City and we needed a place to eat lunch. The wait wasn't long and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. I love going to local establishments when we travel. The kids weren't too hungry but the waffle sundae got them. It was the perfect size for an afternoon treat. If you get the fish tacos definitely order the guac with it. The reuben wasn't anything special but it hit the spot.

Yelp
Stopped in Park city for lunch. The Eating Establishment was highly recommended by a friend. Now I can highly recommend it if you are in the area. The staff was awesome. We were seated right away. They have Indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious and fresh I had the grilled chicken cop sandwich. The pictures do it no justice, the sliced avocado topped it off. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes oh, and by the way, they serve breakfast all day! Awesome! Do yourself a favor and stop in you will not be disappointed

Yelp
My new go to for a delicious breakfast when up on Main Street in Park City. Even during the morning rush, we waited maybe 5 minutes to be seated. Great selection of draft beer and cocktails. Smaller footprint, but a great overall setup to grab a quick bite with friends/family. Their made from scratch pancakes were delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere and wait staff and bartender. Upscale pub food was really good. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Such good breakfast! Everything was amazing including their spicy sauce . We had the eggs Benedict, Belgian waffle, French toast, and huevos Ranchero. The eggs Benedict was my entree and honestly it's the best I've ever had. Potatoes were yummy too. Must try for breakfast for sure!

Jared V.

Yelp
What a great way to start the morning! I love getting absolutely price-raped while being served total garbage food! It's the best! I love getting served soggy ass huevos rancheros, getting charged $45 for the privilege, and then waiting for 15 minutes for service to notice I'm done and deny my cash payment! What a great $45 experience!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food and quick service. Cool decorations. Be prepared for a wait. Very popular and on the main drag.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly the best place we ate at in park city, but still not a 5 star establishment. Service was great, and we were seated very quickly (a Monday, 10am, late in the ski season), but it took a long time for food to come out. Food was good, portions were large, but it was very underseasoned. Heard great things about the bloodies but they don't serve alcohol until 11am here haha.
google avatar

Ememabasi I.

Yelp
We were a fairly large table and I appreciate being accommodated but I wish they placed us somewhere that accommodated us all comfortably. The food is good, but could have been better. With that said, the service was great, and our server was nice and attentive. This is a great spot to go to if your party is small. Otherwise I would opt for another restaurant.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Best breakfast in Park City since 1972. Great food overall! Pork skillet and three-egg omelets, served with silky smooth coffee that doesn't taste like bitter, burnt, blackened compost....you get the picture. Ambience for days, servers who smile and seem to actually care that your food tastes good - well, I will be coming back for more.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
We got so lucky and didn't have to wait for a table of 6. Lucky us. This place is super charming and have a great every. I loved all the breakfast options. Steak was a little harder to get right but they had no issue trying a second time when it was overcooked.
google avatar

Zakiya D.

Yelp
I would not recommend this place. I ordered the fish tacos, which is 1 of their most popular dishes. I was not impressed. When the waiter brought the food, it had a bad fishy smell. I didn't taste the fish at all; it was more so the sauce and toppings that I tasted. After leaving the food, the waiter didn't return 2 check on me until after I'd finished my food. So for my 2 tacos and a hard cider (since I didn't see any cocktails that looked good), my total came to about $32 without tax and tip. Definitely not worth it.
google avatar

Tommy D.

Yelp
Had high hopes. American fare, chic interior, ordered their signature burger with some mushrooms, medium. Food came out at wildly different times for just 4 of us. My burger was absolutely torched, extra well hockey puck. Super disappointing. Hate to dunk on a place, but its not hard to cook a burger to a juicy medium. Not for $25 at least. Bummer.
google avatar

Michiko M.

Yelp
The service was great! Located in the heart of park city on Main Street. Ordered the huevos rancheros and it was tasty but I was expecting a hard tortilla underneath. It was a soft one. That was my only issue.
google avatar

Kelly O.

Yelp
We are so obsessed with this place, we literally eat here for breakfast about 75% of our days when in Park City. The staff are soooo friendly and the food is superior. Best cappuccinos around!! I think we've tried all the dishes and we are from TX-- even the "tex-mex" dishes are TX approved by my 'lived in TX all his life" husband. Seriously you HAVE TO COME HERE. Get here early too!! ;-) It's worth the wait though if you have to wait!
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
I couldn't believe how fast our service was! It look longer for us to decide on what to eat than for the food to actually come out and it was still fresh and super delish. I'd say the only thing is, this spot does seem a little overpriced but we kind of figured it could just be how it is in that area. Our server was super nice and friendly. Would recommend!
google avatar

Kelly W.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! It was very busy but service was attentive and our food came out quick! We got a variety of entrees and were all satisfied. Portions were large and the prices were fair. Our server was great too!
google avatar

Gabrièle G.

Yelp
Fresh food. Friendly service. Nice ambiance. Stopped by for lunch after skiing (during the off season, I'm sure this place gets insanely busy during the regular ski season). My kids had pancakes and bacon (they don't serve real maple syrup but they serve the syrup warm at least!). Pancakes are fluffy and delicious. My grilled veggie sandwich was really good! My husband had the French dip which was also really good, the au jus was spicy (chipotle peppers?). We will be back when Main Street isn't too busy!
google avatar

Harper F.

Yelp
Iconic spot on Park City's Main Street. I've been wanting to try this place out for a long time now. I was visiting Park City last winter and I stopped by for breakfast. The wait was 2 hours and 45 mins! They are much busier during breakfast/brunch hours compared to dinner hours. I finally paid a visit for a dinner meal a few weeks ago. I'm glad we gave it another try because it was so great! I visited with a large group and our party was treated very well. The service was quick and attentive. Our food was great. The interior has a ski lodge feel. I enjoyed my experience here. I'll be back when I'm in Park City next.

Yelp
The Thai steak salad is terrible Burger is good Chicken caesar is good Ambience is good Breakfast food looked good
google avatar

Yelp
Got the shakshuka with two over hard eggs. It was an interesting shakshuka with potatoes in it. Not incredibly flavorful but still good. A huge portion, so lots of food. Waiters weren't incredibly friendly. Cute restaurant with nice vibes inside.

Tan E.

Yelp
We were told restaurant decided to close the kitchen as business was slow despite us having confirmed our reservation. We arrived 10 minutes late and within standard grace period to be turned away.
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
We were very happy with the Eggs Benedict here, homemade hash was great as well. Service and experience was memorable only thing that could have been better was a mimosa, but to our surprise Utah laws don't allow alcohol sales before 11:30 AM whaaaat!
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
It can get a bit hectic as they don't have a proper wait list, you just have to come in and stand around until you get seated. It was a bit hard to get the attention of the host but it was busy so understandable. Although it was a bit unorganized, the service was friendly and fairly quick! The food was not bad but not a place I'd come back, especially since Main Street can get busy. This place is always packed so I'm glad they are getting good business!
google avatar

Camille W.

Yelp
Breakfast at The Eating Establishment was the perfect vibe for a casual Saturday morning brunch. We ordered Eggs Benedict and French Toast. The hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict was tasty and side of breakfast potatoes were perfectly fried. the French Toast was classic - just like you had it growing up with a slice of lemon curd which was a nice addition. The coffee was good. Service was great - prompt and attentive. Will be back!
google avatar

Lexi T.

Yelp
Came here for Bachelorette brunch! Our server, Alex, was so sweet and accommodating. He made our experience so amazing. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Katie W.

Yelp
This place is hopping during breakfast! Be ready to wait for a table! The food is good and the drinks are wonderful! I'd recommend getting a hot toddy for breakfast during a cold, winter's day. The service is decent, but the place is so busy that the server just drops off your food and leaves.
google avatar

Olive Eaton Phood ..

Yelp
Perfect breakfast spot. The food is great. Service is fast, and our server was friendly and patient. It's a bit pricey but so is everything else in Main St. The portions were generous, I couldn't finish the potatoes on my plate.
google avatar

Jeanne G.

Yelp
Love this place! Friendly staff and the food is always great. I recommend to come early so you can get a table! I've had almost everything on the menu, theyre all amazing!

Yelp
We stopped in Saturday evening for dinner. PC was pretty slow this last weekend, since it's mud season and the ski season is over. Our server was friendly, but since we chose to eat outside on the street deck, we were sort of out of sight-out of mind. The food was just okay. From the reviews, they obviously are successful. From our experience, it was just meh. I had the Martin's Hot Roast Beef Dip. The sandwich had great flavor, but the meat was so minimal, it barely covered the bread (Note picture). Once I lifted up the top roll, it was very thin and ridiculously small portion for $21. Unfortunate. My wife had The Established Burger. The burger was dry and lacked flavor. She only ate half of it. Our drinks were never refilled and frankly, for $70 for two sandwiches, two soda's and a 25% tip... even by elevated PC prices, completely underwhelming experience. PC has a lot of great choices and in this instance we didn't make a great choice. Many have shared good reviews, so it might have just been an off night. We have no plans to return, but hope your visit is more favorable than ours.
google avatar

Elaine F.

Yelp
Mediocre food, bad service, no ambiance. The biscuits and gravy was one large biscuit. Cut it in half or don't call it biscuits. The gravy was lackluster and had no flavor or sausage. Also not enough gravy for the biscuit. Wouldn't recommend at all. So many other places with better food and drinks you should try.
google avatar

Yelp
We highly recommend this restaurant! It's patio pet friendly and service was great too We ate Breakfast and drank Lattes very good food and coffees were excellent Ambiance outside was great we highly recommended

Yelp
Heard a lot of people saying they were going here when we were out in town. This was our first trip to Park City. The service was a bit slow but very polite and it was busy so it was fine. It was a very nice place to eat lunch and get some local food.

Emma D.

Yelp
The food and atmosphere here are always fantastic, but the host/manager--blonde woman--seriously needs to be addressed. Her behavior is consistently condescending, rude, patronizing, and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, both I and other customers have experienced her hostility. During my most recent visit, I went in to request a table for my friends and me. While I was waiting in the lobby for assistance, she looked me up and down and rudely asked, "Can I help you with something?" She then proceeded to explain, in a dismissive tone, that she "doesn't do lists" and instead would have us stand outside in a line to wait for a table. Her attitude made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of others, and many of the other customers waiting seemed equally uneasy with her behavior. This kind of conduct is entirely unacceptable, especially from someone representing the restaurant as a first point of contact. While I understand the stress that comes with hosting, as I have experience in this role myself, there is absolutely no excuse for treating guests this way. I highly recommend addressing this issue by either hiring professional hosts or taking corrective action with her. Additionally, I've noticed other reviews mentioning similar concerns about her attitude, which shows this isn't an isolated incident. Please consider taking steps to improve this situation, as it detracts significantly from an otherwise great dining experience.

Yelp
Stopped by after working up an appetite snowmobiling all morning. I was seated immediately and promptly given water while I looked over the menu. I started with the spinach & artichoke stuffed onion ring and wow! It was SO good. I wasn't sure what to expect but the flavors were spot on and a great way to start the meal. The outside was crisp, the inside was warm and gooey (in a great way) and the bread was perfect for spreading. For my main dish, I got the eggs benedict. The ham was delicious, as was the hollandaise sauce. All of the ingredients were balanced nicely and were flavorful. The potatoes were just okay so I didn't really eat them. Seasoning perhaps? Service was FANTASTIC! Kody went above and beyond and I really enjoyed getting to know him more. Every employee was super friendly, as were the other patrons. I met great people to continue to explore Park City with. I would definitely come back when in Park City in the future! Looking forward to trying their dinner menu next time!

Yelp
Went to the eating establishment on Main Street in Park City or as the locals call it the double E with my wife for brunch. Really a nice little cute restaurant with a cozy feel. I had a veggie omelette, which was nice and big and super yummy. My wife had a Wagyu burger, which she really enjoyed as well with a side salad. My wife also had a mimosa which she enjoyed as well. Our server Missy was super attentive, and really did a great job. I would highly recommend the EE for either breakfast or lunch I think they also serve dinner but reservations are recommended for dinner. I would definitely give it 4.5 stars. If I could, go check out the EE you won't be disappointed. See pictures

Yelp
Busy summer Sunday morning, but not a terrible wait for two of us! We were seated in the smaller side of the restaurant which is my favorite because it is so light and airy with the doors open facing Main Street. Started with a Virgin Bloody Mary which was tasty and other drinks looked delicious as well. Waffle was crispy and the pancake was perfect. Butter is on the table so we could freely slather without judgment. Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked medium, per request, and the English muffin was crisp, which is rare. Swapped out the ham for avocado and the hollandaise is amazing. Service was on point with several people popping by to help if our server was busy. This place is a classic with consistently excellent food!

Maria R.

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place. The ambiance, loved the liveliness of the place, sat fairly quickly as well by the friendly host. Once we sat down, the waitress was not friendly and seemed irritated to have us there. Did not refill our coffee or check in our table. Food was good but not something worth going back to. Quite an unpleasant experience actually.

Marta E.

Yelp
The Irish Nachos were amazing and we all really liked our food. I got the seafood pasta and I was very surprised how full of seafood it was! All of our meat was a little overcooked though.
