"West side suburbanites rejoiced in 2020 when The Ebenezer opened in the basement of a former bank in downtown Plymouth. The large space of the vault is a great place to relax on leather couches and pretend you’re a roaring 20s banker or gangster. Classic cocktails like the Widow’s Kiss and Boulevardier are featured alongside new twists like the refreshing gin-based Cryptic Message and the complex and spicy Blood Ritual, which pairs mezcal and cinnamon with grenadine, lime, and Ancho Reyes chili liqueur." - Serena Maria Daniels

The Ebenezer has a great vibe and a beautiful atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. That said, the drinks didn’t quite live up to the price point and flavors were underwhelming, and the cost just didn’t feel justified. It’s a nice spot to check out, but probably not somewhere I’d go regularly for cocktails.

The speakeasy vibes, were impeccable. We showed up during a festival and had no issue getting a table, I guess it really is Plymouths best kept secret! Friendly staff, fast service. Only giving the food 4 out of 5 because despite being delicious everything was overly salty! As a foodie, former chef and bartender, I felt the cocktail garnish/presentation was weak. Happy to see they have some mocktails on the menu, although some of the cocktails cost less. Overall fantastic experience! Such a cool place, glad we came to try it.

Google
Cool environment. Feels like you are walking into an old school speakeasy, but with top shelf drinks and excellent food. We had a great time. Portions were generous and definitely shareable. A great place to relax with a cocktail, great food and a chill environment.

This speakeasy in the basement of the Ledger is expensive and worth it. I had the tuna others had the shawarma and the wagyu sliders. All the food was excellent. The comment from the person having the wagyu sliders was it was the best burger they ever had.

Google
Absolutely stunning. One of my favorite spots ever. I’m obsessed with the ambiance and the aesthetic of this spot. Such amazing conversations happen here, drinks are amazing, staff are incredible, and the food is such a nice experience. 100% would come back.

Google
I ordered the shwarma bomb. I would not recommend it. Very bland and dry. The meat was minced. I had two bites of a wagyu slider. It was pretty good. The restaurant was dark and the music had a good beat.

Google
The service at this place is poor. We stood with two drinks with about 4 tables around us saying “reserved”. After finishing our drink, an waitress asks us if we want to sit down and order another drink. You’re kidding, right? Good service matters. Tried this place twice and it’s been the same both times. Will go elsewhere.

This place is my fav cocktail lounge in plymouth! The whipped feta dip is phenomenal and the cocktails are delicious! The staff is so attentive and knowledgeable.

Yelp
It was one of my girlfriend's birthday and we had dinner and then decided to end the night at the Ebenezer. I heard about the Ebenezer for years but this was the first time that I had a chance to visit. The Ebenezer is a speakeasy with no password required. A little challenging to find until you find it. The light in the space is extremely dim. But the Vibe is uplifting and unexpected when you enter. There was a DJ on the night were there which was a Friday. They do have a food menu but we did not eat here. We only had a few drinks both cocktails and mocktails for our crew. The mocktail was very interesting and well composed. Music was a little loud. So not really an "easy" relaxing lounge type environment...but certainly something that makes you think you could be in a bigger city than Plymouth, Michigan. I'll certainly visit again.

Yelp
I enjoy the spirits and good ambience. Last time I visited it was a date night with my husband I advised the bartender I was pregnant he made me a wonderful ginger drink. It was thoughtful since the bartender was kind to think what would be delicious and great for a pregnant woman. Can't wait to return during postpartum for a proper adult beverage.

Danielle T.

Yelp
Back door entrance if you know where it is at, ambience is cool as you walk through a dark tunnel before you walk in to the establishment! Seating is usually very limited so you either need a reservation or hope you can get lucky! We went to enjoy a birthday cocktail after dinner! My drink was very tasty but it was also $20 so if you like expensive cocktails this is your place!

Malisa R.

Yelp
My husband and I made reservations specifically to try the new clarified rye drink, the Michigan Sour. Our reservations were at 9pm so well before the new change over of the late night drink menu. We came to the Ebenezer last week after the Ledger and learned about the new drink menu but since it was after 10pm, we couldn't order it. As a local we come here often, it wasn't a big deal to come back except our service was slow. By the time our server came she told us that the bartenders were overwhelmed and they were switching to the late night menu even though it wasn't 10pm. We tried to order the Michigan Sour and we were told no. We love supporting small business, but wow... what's going on here?! We use to love this bar, but with all the rules and not being able to get the drinks we came for? Very disappointing.

Kyna V.

Yelp
the ambiance is 1000/10. I love how classy this place is! The drinks were good and very aesthetically appealing. I got the rosé martini and it was nice and sweet. They even put a bubble in it too, pretty cool! The service was good and the bartender was very helpful with his recommendations. Overall, a 10/10 place to have date night!

Yelp
Great little Speakeasy in downtown Plymouth. I had the Brown Derby and the espresso martini. I highly recommend both. My friends had Blushin Betty, I think, and a smoked Old Fashioned. Finally, when my friend's husband arrived, he git the Ebenezer. Cool drink AND delicious! Also, our server was excellent and I didn't make myself a note to recall her name.

Morgan A.

Yelp
My husband and I went to The Ebenezer right before Halloween. They had spooky decorations everywhere which was fitting because the restaurant has a dim intimate feel to it. Our waitress was great. At first we didn't think they had any seating available and on our way out our waitress ran after us asking if the whiskey locker room would be okay! The room was very private and quiet which was the perfect environment for my husband and I. The drinks were great! I can't wait to comeback and try the food!

Chelsea C.

Yelp
Go now! We got here when they opened at 4pm on a Friday and glad we did. By 430, it started to bring in a crowd. I can't rave about this place more. The moment you open the door, you step into the roaring 20s and prohibition. Marvelous cocktails; I highly recommend the old fashioned and Tequila Mockingbird. I couldn't stop looking at the seating options and decor. I can't wait to return and try the food! TIP: Snag a reservation via Open Table.

Danielle J.

Yelp
I highly recommend this spot ! My friends and I were looking for a new spot to try and came across the Ebenezer. First I recommend reservations.. and get there a little early because parking In downtown Plymouth is a little crazy. Try to find a spot in the parking garage that's in fleet because it puts you right at the entrance ! Other than that it is a little difficult to find ! The ambiance it this place is a cool vibe, our waitress was amazing ! Do be aware that you have a limited amount of time at your table because of other reservations. However our waitress was nice enough to let us sit at a table nearby to finish our drinks until another party came. The food was good. I had the wings and Brussels .. I was disappointed they had not buns for the brisket sliders so I didn't get those. Drinks are strong as well. I'll definitely be back !

Yelp
First and foremost, let me say I was Wow-ed by this spot. It's literally like stepping into a Time Machine-- like back in the 50s/60s. In a dope way! It truly is a nice vibe. The main reason I rested on 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the music. They just couldn't get it right the night I was there - AND for a spot like this, the music brings everything together. I came here on a date on a Thursday night. They opened at 4p and we arrived around 5ish. The service upon our arrival was great, we were greeted warmly and given the choice of sitting at the bar or at a table. We chose the latter. The atmosphere was inviting. The chairs we sat in were super comfy and made me feel like I was kinda dining at someone's home. The food was superb. We got the Brussel Sprouts and the wings. The Brussel Sprouts dish was presented like a salad and it was super good and fresh. The wings were made to perfection. And the dranks.. whew!! They were delicious. I love a good craft cocktail. Now- this music. Baby, it was too loud for one. Then, at one point there was a rock music compilation. Which was not at all a fitting musical choice! For a setting like this, acceptable genres would be Lo-fi, electronica, ambient music (think Pure Moods CDs!), jazz, underground R&B. And it all needs to be at an overall lower volume. Certainly not loud rock music, blaring. We did mention the volume of the music as well as the selection to our waitress. But I'm not sure whoever was in control of the music got the memo. Be sure to tour the place and def go to the bathrooms while you're there. Such cute decor! Overall, I would go back. Def enjoyed the vibes!

Prasand K.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and this place has a great atmosphere. It really goes for the speakeasy type venue and the cocktails were really good. I would highly recommend this place, we did go during a slow time but service was great

Arturo F.

Yelp
Super cool speakeasy vibe, great for a sexy date night. My wife and I split several cocktails and a charcuterie board. Everything was delicious, but the the highlight was the smoky drinks they make with a giant bubble over the glass -- I wish I could remember the name, but if you ask the servers, they'll tell you what those are. My only complaint are that it's too dark and too loud -- we had to use our cell phones to light the menus, and it was difficult to hold a conversation.

Bob K.

Yelp
The best part of the Ebenezer is the atmosphere. It's an incredibly cool place that truly feels like you've stepped back in time into a 1920s speakeasy. You enter from an ally and are one level below the Main Street in town. It's dark inside and feels upscale. There are wonderful little nooks to grab a seat and relax. Second best thing is the quality of the cocktails. My old fashion was absolutely perfect. One of the best I've had. Our server was very nice also. It was a young 20s to early 30s crowd. I asked the doorman if there are nights with a slightly older crowd and he said Thursday-Saturday is the crowd we experienced but Tuesday and Wednesday tend to be more mid-40s and up. Now for the downside. The drinks are quite pricey. We each had 2 drinks (4 total) and it was over $70. I really liked The Ebenezer and will definitely go back.

Jt M.

Yelp
What a gem of a place! I love the lighting, very intimate with comfortable seating areas. The place was quiet enough for my book club to converse while enjoying cocktails. Such a nice addition to Downtown Plymouth!

Mara W.

Yelp
Girls night out was so much fun! The only issue we couldn't find the door and had to call the restaurant. Navigation puts you on the front of the building it's in but it's actually in the basement and the door is in the back of the building! However! The waitress was super nice. The ambiance was cool. Low light, we sat on a couch with a low table. It was comfy and we were still able to eat our food easily. The fried Mac bits, Brussel sprouts, cauli with mushrooms and wings were our favorites! The dip was good too. We did not care for the salmon. It was over cooked, dry and had little flavor. The Mac bites were some of the best we both have had! Wings cooked well and delicious. The Brussel sprouts had a lot of flavor and were cooked perfectly. Now that cauliflower with mushrooms; baby was so delicious! So different, so full of flavor! The drinks were good. Not my favorite though.

Amy W.

Yelp
We have had this place on our list to visit for quite some time now. We both love the speakeasy vibe so we were intrigued. We had a special celebration so this seemed like the perfect day to check it out. The Ebenezer really lived up to our expectations! We were seated in a romantic corner. The lighting is very intimate and warm. There is something to see on every wall. Our waitress was very accommodating and prompt. She helped us pick out our first drinks. I ordered the filet which literally melted in my mouth. We usually share but I was greedy. No sharing! We got dessert drinks and a lava cake. We both loved everything about this place and wish it was a little bit closer. I work a couple days a week in Ann Arbor so we may meet up here once in a while. It's perfect for date night. I think everyone should check it out!

Tiffany Z.

Yelp
Super cool and chill ambience. Feels pretty hip for Plymouth and it's exciting to have a place like that so close rather than needing to go to Ann Arbor or Detroit (which is also super fun but for a general weekday evening not always convenient). Slightly annoying that our drinks took so long to make on a general week day night when the place was not full. All the drinks we did have were great! Friendly service! The food is good. The BEST are the truffle Parmesan fries. You can really taste the truffle. We enjoyed the aioli dip as well. The crispy cauliflower wasn't crispy but it was a very nice flavor with a mushroom sauce on top. I wouldn't order it again though. The ahi tuna decomposed rolls were fun to eat and definitely worth ordering again. The prices were OK, about the same like Sardine Room but the look and feel of the place really does set it apart from the rest of the options in Plymouth. I'll go back and explore more of the menu for food and cocktails. It'd give it 3.5 starts if I could because it seems like it's trying really hard but just can't exactly reach that 4 stars yet.

Heather C.

Yelp
I was really excited to finally go here, but was disappointed. The positive was that the server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The cons: It was extremely dark, I couldn't see the people next to me. The drinks were pretty good. The worst part was the smell. There's this weird smell, maybe because it's in a basement? It smelled like dirty grease, mold, and a natural gas. We left after one drink.

Frank W.

Yelp
Thankfully I came across a hidden gem that is Ebenezer's, nestled in the heart of Downtown Plymouth (DTP). The house special, aptly named "The Ebenezer," proved to be an absolute knockout. A concoction of top-shelf spirits, mysterious bitters, and a touch of something only the mixologists at Ebenezer's know, it delivered a punch that would make Al Capone tip his hat in approval. And then there's "The Soothsayer". This unique creation for my wife showcased the mixologist's flair for the dramatic. The Soothsayer boasted a medley of exotic flavors. The combination of Elijah Craig Small Batch, Amaro Lucano, Benedictine, and suze in a cocktail promises a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. When expertly balanced, the combination of these ingredients creates an exceptional cocktail. Ebenezer's Speakeasy is more than just a bar; it's a haven for those who appreciate the finer things in life - where the drinks are strong, the atmosphere is electric, and the secrets are as well-guarded as a mobster's black book. So, if you want to experience a taste of the underworld without the risk of waking up with cement shoes, make your way to Ebenezer's - where the whispers speak louder than bullets, and the cocktails are the real kings of the joint.

Amber M.

Yelp
This place was the perfect stop before dinner. The inside has a dark, intimate feel that definitely screams speak easy. The staff is extremely friendly and the ambiance is just right! They have a variety of drinks that are artfully concocted. I had the Espresso Martini which was excellent. Very smooth and not milky which a lot tend to be. Rich coffee and chocolate flavors. My guests had The Manhattan Project and The Cryptic Message. The Manhattan tasted as expected but the ice cube was a little large when you tried to sip.

Andrea E.

Yelp
I am really surprised this place has so many bad reviews! I loved it! That being said, we came on a Tuesday evening where there was just one other couple in the whole place, so it's possible it's a much different experience on a Friday night, but even still... I like that it's a lounge-y feel and there are all different chairs/tables/couches areas set up - each spot is inviting in a different way. The drinks were great! There's a lot of fall-ish ones right now which I like. Think allspice drams...think cinnamon.... I ordered a Mr. Porter and LOVED it. My boyfriend got one that had a sparkler in it (I think it was called the Grand Sage?). So that's fuuuun. The food was great too. We got ceviche, ahi tuna crisps and truffle fries. I was kind of expecting a dinky little spoonful of ceviche, but I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of everything. If you park in the structure on Fleet st. the entrance is pretty clear - there's an awning and you just go straight down the hallway. Really the only downside for me is that it is really expensive, but for a special night out I think it's pretty on par with most other "speakeasy"ish places. We'll be back!

Ginger M.

Yelp
Went there last night, and would say this is great place except for one huge, appalling and cringe-worthy experience. It involves a poorly behaved, loudly speaking male bartender who was talking in great detail to his female co-workers about his intimate bedroom experiences. I looked on incredulously as nobody stopped him. What got my attention first was when he told his co-workers how "they were all going to get drunk tonight" and he took a shot. So I suppose he thinks it is acceptable to get drunk on the job? He then went on telling them his girlfriend is real. I thought it meant he was not just imagining that anyone would actually like him, but he clarified that it meant her breasts "were heavy and full, just as God intended" and he cupped his hands in the air. At that point, this was becoming a train wreck none of us at my table could not turn away from. We were treated to him saying how he is "good at sex" and everyone wants him, and how he just got to sleep at 6:00 that morning because he was up all night. He said how he is well-hung with a huge dick and girls like that. At that point, we paid the bill and left. We were only there for 45 minutes. Such crass, inappropriate behavior was made my stomach turn. Is good staff that hard to find? This loud-talking employee with offensive and clueless behavior is just not where I want to be.

Nathalia C.

Yelp
It was cozy and they had great drinks. The service was great as well. Definitely a speakeasy spot. It took forever for us to find it! Lol. They also had a DJ that played good music, even included a Latin song that I appreciated.

Judy N.

Yelp
Love the space and the staff seems great, BUT, the drinks were only just okay (Honestly, we wanted to love, love this place.) We will likely give this place a second shot but not rushing to go back.

Cheyenne D.

Yelp
Service was horrendous. First of all, the bartenders don't even look at you if you don't have a seat. I got a drink and cashed it out because I wasn't sure if I was getting another, tipped 30%. A new bartender came in and refused to serve me and my group because we "don't tip". I'm a young guy that was with some African American friends; I felt extremely discriminated towards. The only drink I was served was the Hemingway, it was a good drink but it was warm... The bar had nice decor but smelled weird and everything was sticky. The DJ was very out of place as well. Won't go back.

Mj J.

Yelp
I have so many reviews in draft mode that I'm excited to finally recognize this amazing spot. The Ebenezer is a speakeasy located in downtown Plymouth. I've been here quite a few times and often recommend it to my friends who are looking for a new spot to explore. I love the overall vibe and decor of the Ebenezer. I don't want to give too much away but the Ebenezer is so cool. The cocktail menu is fantastic and the bartenders are great. They also serve small plates, which are quite tasty. Make sure to check out the entire place as there are so many cool pictures throughout the place.

Alla M.

Yelp
Great drinks, neatly done speakeasy, small plate appetizers are ok. Downside music gets too loud at times

Aisha B.

Yelp
This place has the SEXIEST cocktails in town!! The whole vibe is a vibe. If you're looking for a quick beer in the pub with the fellas this is not the place . A true speakeasy, this place can't be entered from the streets (finding it is half the fun ). For those unfamiliar with the term, speakeasy bars are essentially hidden restaurants. They're bars hidden out of sight and they typically don't promote themselves; it's the word of mouth loyal customer base that brings people in. The deep dark vibe is a great place to relax and have drinks with appetizers with great friends. You can enjoy their signature cocktails or allow their mixologist to create something that fits your mood!

Patricia Y.

Yelp
A cool, hidden speakeasy bar in downtown Plymouth- what more could you ask for. I got a Blushing Becky, which was just the right amount of sweet and summery. We also ordered the Parmesan truffle fries- they were delicious overall, but some of the fries were a little limp and soggy. I wish they could've been more crispy, hence the 4 stars. The mood of the bar was quite good, and we had a great time socializing. I would recommend!

Erik H.

Yelp
Very good service and great craft cocktails. Small place, not much room to sit and pretty dark. Great place to go for just a drink.

J S.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the customer service. Had a discrepancy with my bill, was told it would be corrected and then manager called back and refused to do so. Would have been the right thing to do and certainly a way to keep a customer.

Kristin K.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been coming here regularly since they opened in 2020 but last night was our last time. We arrived a few minutes after opening without a reservation. I asked if we could have a table as many were open. The hostess said we could only have bar seats since they are first come first serve. I don't mind sitting at the bar, which we did, however there were tables that went completely unused in the hour we were there. The biggest issue is they do batch cocktails. We ordered an espresso martini ($14) and Michigan Sour ($22) and both were batched. We love craft cocktails and certainly don't mind paying for a good drink but asking $22 for a batched cocktail is insane. Another customer at the bar asked for an alteration to her drink and the bartender couldn't accommodate stating "All of our cocktails are batched". Between the pretentious attitude of having a reservation even when it's not busy and expensive pre-made drinks, this place isn't what it used to be. I can't justify spending $40+ after tip on two drinks that are pre made.

Paul A.

Yelp
We went there for cocktails. We made a reservation and I would recommend them. A great speakeasy atmosphere, which includes low light and dark walls. We got our first round of drinks and they were great. The price point is about normal for these type of drinks 14 to 16 and a few higher. Our waitress was nice and inventive. We order a second round of drinks. I was disappointed that they were out of my second choice. A little while later we were told that we had about 15 minutes before our table had a reservation. Wow didn't know that. Really no foul as were we're about ready to leave anyway.

Alex T.

Yelp
Very cool speakeasy joint in downtown Plymouth. An excellent use of what could be an underutilized space! Classic speakeasy vibes with excellent craft cocktails. This place gets busy on the weekends, so you might be stuck standing amongst the crowd.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place out for a while, and I am glad a friend and I finally gave it a shot. The vibes are spot-on for a speak-easy. The decor is amazing. It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust if you come in from the daylight, but once they do it isn't as dark as it seems. You do still sort of have to get creative to clearly read the menu, though. They have a wide variety of cocktails that should fit most everyone's likes. I got Jack the Ripper because I'm a sucker for Earl Gray and it was good. Then I tried the Port of Origin and I had to send it back. I am sure for those who like sweeter drinks it would be good, but to me it was cloyingly sweet and I could hardly taste the bourbon. I love a good ol' Kentucky Hug when I drink bourbon and I didn't get that at all. I swapped it for Blushing Becky - still sweet, but via fruit instead of sugar. Much more enjoyable. We split the charcuterie board which had a really fair serving of everything. For the price, it was a great deal. I've had charcuterie boards much more slim in the past so that was a pleasant surprise. It was a nice place to check out, and again the vibes were great. But I'm not sure I'd wander back there.

Jojo M.

Yelp
Food is great. Ambience as expected for speakeasy. Service has never disappointed. Best thing we have in Canton-Plymouth as far as cocktail bars

Ashley J.

Yelp
First impressions make a difference. We were told "standing room only" upon entering because we did not have a reservation. Within a couple moments we were taken to a table (ok score). I guess it was just a weird vibe/attitude of the host. My drink was pretty, but not my favorite. I would give the drink a 6/10. Not sure if this is a weekend thing, certain day etc but we went while there was a DJ there. It made the "speakeasy" experience not what I would envision. It was hard to talk to people at your own table. Many tables around us seemed to do what we did - have one drink and go. My drink was called Cryptic Message.

Ronald S.

Yelp
I must admit that I was a little hesitant to go because I wasn't sure how comfortable I would be during this time. However, seating was spaced out pretty nicely unless you're at the bar and it doesn't matter to you. The atmosphere is awesome. Dark but lit up where it is necessary. All the seats are very comfortable. The staff is fantastic. We tried some gin handcrafted drinks and they were good. I think there was a drink called the ripper with gin that was excellent. My only complaint is that the music was a little too pop! I think that it should be a more jazzy style or for that matter even bebop or big band. My wife also felt that it was a little too loud. The place is set up like an old speakeasy from the roaring 20s, but the music was just not matching the ambience. I think that if the music was better, it would've definitely been worthy of a five star in my opinion

Michael S.

Yelp
You have to go to The Ebenezer! Definitely a hidden gem in Plymouth. Servers and bar is very knowledgeable and attentive. It's cool from the minute you enter - dark and moody space with the best drinks and really tasty apps. Can't wait to return!

Linda F.

Yelp
This is a great upscale bar to visit after a dinner date out. It has a speakeasy feel with a variety of unique cocktails. A place like this is so sorely needed in a downtown with mostly sports bars to grab a drink. If you're looking to top your night off with a drink at a classy place with great music, this place is it!

Linda P.

Yelp
It's a cool place with a nice speakeasy vibe. I'd recommend dropping in here for drinks and then hitting up a local spot in Plymouth for dinner. Although they do have food on the menu it's mostly appetizers which come up a little light on quantity for the price paid. The staff was friendly.

Tesha P.

Yelp
This place is located in a hidden location tucked away in the back of the buildings but yet across from a parking lot. You know one of those if it was a snake it would have bit you, in your face. You are greeted by a red lit long hallway to a nicely dim lit bar. Try to get reservations because its small and can pack up really quick. We were lucky on the night we went, even though we didn't have reservations , we were able to secure a table for two near the bar. The bar itself is cozy and a nice place to kick back with your friends for drinks and laughs ( you know to unwind). The drinks are pretty good I got the Rose Martini which comes with the big smoke bubble on it. It was tasty but next time I will hold the bubble I think it taste a little soapy being that when it burst , your first sip you can taste it. I also go two brisket sliders which were good ask for extra bbq sauce. The spinach artichoke dip with the wanton wrapper is the bomb! I could have snacked on that all night. The waitress gave good service and was nice. Didn't take a long time for the food or drinks to arrive at the table. The music was such a "Vibe" it was appropriate to a place like this. I enjoyed the atmosphere . Decor was cool with all the old pictures. All and all I will definitely return .

Nathasja T.

Yelp
One of our recent fun hangouts. Definitely a great, old timey, speakeasy vibe.. dark, exposed brick, cool pictures on the wall and music of the era playing. Big bonus for being inside a bank vault! Though you can access via the coney upstairs, I suggest taking the back entrance as the feeling/vibe is a lot.. better. They've done a great job making it feel like you're not only stepping back in time, but also like you're entering a club you maybe shouldn't. You'll see. Their cocktails are good.. I appreciated the espresso martini and a gin/earl gray syrup/lemon one the most. The best thing on the menu (in our humble opinion) is the ahi tuna crisp. Even if you don't have to "go", make sure you walk to the bathroom - it's cool.

Rick L.

Yelp
Four of us Stopped by on New Year's Eve early for a couple cocktails and the charcuterie board. Everything was amazing. We have been here before but truly love the atmosphere. Drinks are pricey but very good and strong. The meat and cheeses were very good as well. We had a very informative and energetic server. I believe her name was Kensey who added to what was already a great experience! We Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Loved this bar-definitely has an underground speak-easy cool kind of vib. There was a party going on when we got there that took up a big chunk of space, but they left shortly thereafter and there was plenty of room. Good music -cool decor -great dirty martinis. What else could a girl ask for!!!n

Yelp
I had high expectations for this spot, as downtown Plymouth really needs more variety. My husband and I have always been drawn to the speakeasy, lounge vibe, so we have been anxiously awaiting our chance to come here. I will say, they executed the aesthetic, but the service left us frustrated and uncomfortable. Note: I am fully aware that many places are short staffed due to COVID, however, many of our grievances are unrelated to such issue. Our party of 4 made reservations one week prior. When making the reservation, the hostess specifically asked where we'd like to be seated. She also gave her recommendation of a table that had cool, high backed red velvet chairs. We accepted. When we arrived at the restaurant, they sat us at a four top table next to the bar. When we explained that we had reserved the red chair table, the hostess told us it was reserved for a party of six. Confused, we asked for other available options. We were told that we would have to leave our second choice table by 9 PM for the reservation coming in at that time. We sat down at this table, and the entire table top was sticky, still had drink rings, and was not set up for new guests. It was early enough in the evening and not yet busy, which made it odd. We waited for about five minutes to be served, but in the meantime, another employee at the front of the house switched our tables so that we ended up at the original table our reservation stated. After all of this confusion, we were left feeling very uncomfortable, like we were a problem. If we could not be accommodated to our specifications, then why did the hostess last week ask for our seating preference? The remainder of the evening could be chocked up to being short staffed, as the service was very very slow, and the waitress was not very friendly with our table. Overall, aside from the service and reservation inconsistencies, the drinks are very overpriced for what you receive. The cocktails are made with 90% ice, as pictured, and tasted very syrupy. I really do hope they make some improvements, as it would be really nice to have a loungey, after-hours esque bar in DTP.

Yelp
It was my turn to make girls night reservations after a tough week. We heard a lot of good things about this speakeasy and were looking forward to checking it out...unfortunately I made our reservation for the wrong night. The place was packed (at Covid 50% capacity standards). Luckily the bartender/owner(?)/ host was super accomodating and moved some tables around to make room for us. The entire staff continued on the same friendly, accomodating note making our experience flawless. We had a great time trying all the fun cocktails on the menu and nibblimg on the generous charcuterie board. The Rose Martini and Just the Tip were my favorite. Super place to unwind and relax. Highly recommend it if you can find it ;)

Yelp
Good vibe, not so great acoustics. A bit difficult to hear tablemates. The drinks were tasty and fun, and appetizers were enjoyed. You can't overstay your welcome as there are other people waiting for tables. It can be difficult to find but that's part of the speakeasy ambiance.
