Very nice hangout spot different adult games, strong drinks, good food truck options. My only complaint is the music BUT everything else was nice. The manager is professional and easy to talk to, the ladies at the bar are hilarious and helpful. Definitely will return again…. And again. 5/5 experience 🤩

People chilling ,playing games and enjoying time on Renos Riverwalk. Asked for a N/A beer and who was probably the owner or manager bent over backwards to try and find one for me,he looked in 3 separate shipping containers. That's customer service!! I will definitely stop back when I'm next in town. Great job!!!

This is a fun hangout place! It’s bear the river downtown and close to other restaurants…very walkable. This place has two different food trucks (Asian and pizzas), fun games, and two bar stands so you don’t have to wait. Plus it plays music that makes you want to get up and dance!

Very cool shipping container outdoor hangout spot for food bites and relaxing if you so choose. Bocceball and Cornhole are available to play in the center . Lots of self-serve tables and seating in shaded areas with cooling misting system.Friendly vendors, good food prices, and great drinks. Kid Friendly, which was a plus for my family.On site restrooms available.

Went for first time this past Friday. Great place to hang out. Very relaxed atmosphere. The beer was excellent and so was the bartender. Went for a work get together. Definitely taking the wife next time.

This place has a cool vibe with drinks and food mixed with games. We came in the afternoon and the shade and misters was really appreciated! Street parking in downtown is ok and the area is totally walkable. We had pizza and beer .. plus of course the Finnish Long Drink. Awesome

This place is awesome. Converted Cargo containers turned into sitting areas, swings, a food truck is present. A oven for fresh baked pizza. Abar with pretty much any drink you might want. Games, entertainment, dog friendly, They also have swag.

Such a wonderful concept for the locals as well as visitors. First time here on a business trip Wednesday afternoon, not too busy. Several cozy places to hang out, with a backyard vibe porch swing seats, Adirondack seats, picnic benches, wine barrel cocktail tables offering outdoor games, such as bocce ball, corn hole, outdoor Jenga. Best outdoor Pizza oven I ordered just Breadsticks with added bacon with marinara sauce , all I have to say is phenomenal!! Staff super chill and friendly, Best Bartender Niki recommended the breadsticks. A Def. Recommendation for Downtown Reno!

Enjoyed having a drink at the Eddy on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We met some super night people at the community picnic seating. We were having such a nice time my husband bought the two gentlemen drinks. It was busy with people playing corn hole and games. It's a great spot just to relax and take a break and make new friends.

A hot summer day calls for a day at the Eddie if you're around. We know it's a very underrated town/city and if you want a day drink with your friends, have a good time and get to choose from different places to eat and drink so everybody is happy especially for a big group. This is the place to be!

First ever visit to the Eddy, didn't get to stay to long, but seems like a great place to hang out with a party of people, or even a nice place to go on a date. Ended up getting some grub from the food truck that was on deck today, Nola Sliders. Great food, the pizza spot looks great too I'll have to try that next time. Decent prices on drinks, tons of games to choose from, and lots of seating. Can't beat the location either, super chill on a spring afternoon.

I love this place. Good food and great beer. A perfect stop to chill with friends during summers. A food truck here sells the best tacos ever! Service at the stations is quick too. Fyi- I learned how to play bocce ball here:)

The Eddy is one of Reno's best hangouts with outdoor seating and games as well as several bars for drinks. The pizza is great and made to order and the drinks are reasonably priced. I would definitely be back again and again.

The Eddy is a great concept, an open casual atmosphere with different bars and drink options, as well as staple food trucks. I bring friends here regularly when they are visiting since it's such a nice hang out spot when the weather is nice. The drinks can be a little pricey, but you are also paying for the atmosphere, which includes different games like Bocce, Jenga, and Cornhole. They have different seating spaces with hammock chairs, benches and open table seating throughout that is dog and kid friendly. Each bar has slightly different beer menus which is nice, and the bartenders have always been friendly and quick to get drink orders out. They have a great rotating menu of local and national beers and I always fine one that I like. Parlay PG IPA was my latest favorite on this visit. The Eddy has 2 permanent food trucks since I've been going the last couple years. One is Mexican food with Tacos, Burritos, Nachos, etc. called Hashtag Tacos and the other is a wood fired pizza truck, Fire Trail Pizza. I've eaten at the Fire Trail pizza several times and am never disappointed. Some of the best pizza in town as far as I'm concerned. They typically have speciality pizzas which I've tried, and the Pepperoni, Margherita, and BBQ Chicken pizzas are staples on the menu that I've had previously and all are delicious. I tried the nachos from Hashtag Tacos with Carne Asada and they were delicious. There are several salsas to choose from, the salsa verde was my favorite. A full experience at the Eddy with fun, food and drinks. I'm always satisfied when I leave here and really enjoy the location and the space. Can't wait for my next visit before it gets too cold to enjoy sitting outside.

Can't find a better place to hang out in good weather! Sunshine, beverages (mixed drinks, beer, wine, canned stuff), dogs, and kids (usually more behaved than some dogs). This time we tried the Doggy Style food truck - amazing!! The glizzy McGuire 1/2 cheese 1/2 dog is a must!

During my visit to Reno I came across this gem. Very trendy storage container beer garden. The ambience is so fun with music, sports on several tv s and , corn hole. I really enjoyed just chilling. I'm sure the service is god too. I'll have to purchase some beer next time. If you are in the Reno by the river area come check them out

A great place to hang out and beat the heat! Dog- and family-friendly during the day, transforms into a 21+ space later at night. The location is great right by the river, there's lots of activities to do, and they have a great selection of drinks and food. Staff has always been friendly. This is a summertime must-visit!

A couple of friends of I walked in with cigarettes lit, wasn't stopped by the bouncer or anyone else to put them out nor did we know smoking was not allowed, we were chilling for a few minutes before entering the food line and was promptly yelled at by the pizza chef and another bouncer that "we're not having that here" and yelling at us to "get the f*ck out" and escorted out. We were very apologetic and trying to be diplomatic as we immediately put them out, but staff were speaking over us and shoving us outside the premises and telling us to "shut the f*ck up and leave." A warning would've or notice from staff prior to entry would've been nice

The Eddy is my favorite place to take visitors, especially during the summer. They have tons of games, two bars with good cocktails and a spot to get pizza. It's a beautiful location on the river. Definitely a fun place to hang out!

Cute spot! It also allows kids, my family had a blast. Drinks were cool and identical to the pictures which is rare to see now a days. Bartender was not stingy either. First time visiting while out of town. Pizza was a decent size and was surprisingly very good. Definitely coming here again next time we are in Reno. If you're looking for a mellow/ chill vibe this spot is it!

Spring is here ! And so is the eddy. This is a retailer spot for my friends and I when the weather is nice. It feels good just being in the sunshine and enjoying beverages together. Mixed drinks, beer, and wine. They have a pizza truck that is always there but sometimes another food truck pops in too. Sometimes there are A TON of kids. Just an fyi if you're looking for more of an adult spot, this ain't it

I went to the Eddy for a date once and really enjoyed it. They have misters for hot days, outdoor games and a couple bar stations accomplish with some food. I've recommended it to others who come to visit and I look forward to checking it out more!

It's a cute outdoor family-friendly and pet-friendly brewery right on the River. Within walking distance of lots of other restaurants and a few casinos. Ambiance is very nice and drinks weren't too expensive.

What a cool place. We went to grab food and drinks last night at The Eddy. Love the dogs, the games, the drinks and the tacos! It was pretty busy but plenty of room to sit. The tacos were really good, the green salsa was hotter than I expected but tasty.

Nikki was the best bartender ever! I had a group of friend with complicated orders/drinks and she knew all of them! Handled it so gracefully! Go to Nikki for any drinks

While in Reno I participated in the margarita crawl. This was the start where you picked up your cup and then enjoyed Margaritas that the Edie had to offer. They had great music and a great Ambiance of summer fun. There was shade and misters to keep us cool and even though there were lines everything moved fast. I definitely would check this place out again in the future. It had a very contemporary feel most of the bars were made out of containers.

We had a great experience we stopped by for a team building event. Had a few cocktails, which were delish and refreshing. We also had a pepperoni pizza, which was perfectly cooked and fabulous flavor.

Location location location! Probably one of the best location on the river. Weather permitting a great spot any time of the day. A placed loved by families, couples and dogs! Dog friendly. Great place to dog watch. Great fresh squeezed grapefruit and vodka drinks.

This is such a cool spot, the tables are first come first serve. And if your not watching your seat, it will be snagged. We ordered from a food truck parked on site. We ordered a burrito, Asada fries, a chicken quesadilla, and tacos. Everything was delicious I would highly recommend going. There's a second food truck. I believe that serves pizza slices.

There isn't a bar like the eddy, it's large, has outdoor games, seating is great, 2 bars, food on site and dog friendly. The perfect place for fun or chill evening. It gets busy so if you want a seat come earlier in the night.

After observing this fun spot by the Truckee River for several years, I finally ventured in one afternoon during a record July heat wave. The misters were working and everyone seemed well-behaved and having fun, eating, drinking, playing bocce ball, and corn hole. I sat in the shade and enjoyed a cocktail and a brick oven-baked pizza. Both really hit the spot. This is a great place to spend a warm summer evening provided it's not too crowded and the other patrons are behaving decently.

Came here for a snack and a beer on a sunny spring afternoon. It's a comfy place with picnic tables, sky chairs, cornhole, bocce, a decent happy hour and nice atmosphere. Sunshades might be a njce addition, but we liked the patio atmosphere. They have Mexican food and pizza food trucks and two bars in containers. We got margherita pizza, which was fresh and tasty and hit the spot. The service was quick and friendly. I will come back next time I'm in R

I've visited this fun little venue as its in the vicinity of my work. There are plenty of places to sit with your friends and not feel like you're crowding someone else's space. There are a couple different 'windows' to get drinks from, and at least two food places, a permanent pizza place and a food truck. Visiting last week, it was still relatively hot out, and the Eddy had misters going which was very refreshing. There were a few shade features, so it was easy to avoid the hot afternoon. I probably wouldn't visit here on my own, but I will definitely be coming back with friends to hang out and enjoy the last little bit of summer.

I feel like the eddy has morphed from beer garden to unofficial community town center. I describe pretty much every downtown/midtown business based on proximity to the eddy since it's so central a landmark everyone knows and can reference. Plus they host so many different events, whether Bloody Mary crawls or morning workout classes for barre and Pilates- it really is such a multi purpose space for community use. Dog-friendly and always a vibe! There's large jenga for big groups to play, cornhole, two food trucks serving pizza, gelato and tacos & the absolute best gin drink ever- the long drink- all three flavors black, blue, red that I can drink all day. I love the swinging chairs they should definitely have more of them it's always a wait to shimmy into one but when you do it's a wonderful cross between hammock and swing. I think the eddy is a great addition to the Reno scene and if it didn't exist there would be no cool open air gathering spot right on the river, it would just be another empty lot. So glad they were able to turn the space into something both useful and unique.

Last review in 2017 and The Eddy is still kickin as so am I. After a few trips and several brewskies, it's time for an update. A hit with the younger, lively, college crowd. Lots of backyard BBQ games, food trucks, and beverage trucks. Great place to go on a warm summer night. Especially during our July Artown series. Makes for a night of fun and frolick. Making new friends and visiting with old ones!

This is a great bar next to the river. People are really friendly. Three large bars to the service is really quick. I had a couple of beers. Bartender let me have a sample of a draft I was interested in. Also had brick oven margarita pizza that was fantastic. Highly recommend stopping in and having a few drinks a share a pizza.

Fun outdoor bar I love to swing by whenever in town! They have a lot of game options you can play with while hanging out with friends! Always nicer to come here during the warmer months, especially a summer night!

Great outdoor spot for the summer. Lots of drinks to choose from and they have a pizza joint that has gluten free option. Also, they have a bunch of outdoor games to chose from! Service is always good. Great spot to bring your baby or fur baby during the day! They don't let kids in after 6pm! So be aware of that. Overall, great spot!

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, there was a couple of handfuls of people there which worked out to our advantage. Ended up meeting the manager (owner?), super chill and friendly guy. Sat down at the bar, ordered our drinks, had some good conversation with the bar tenders. All around good vibes. The only reason for one less star is because there was only one food option. Fresh pizza in the back. It was okay, super burnt on the bottom but had a few drinks in me and needed something to snack on. Also got a shirt to commemorate the weekend spent in Reno, we'll be back to talk dogs and Pokémon with the staff!

The Eddy male bouncer denied our access after letting 2 of our 15 person group in to the bar because the bride of our bachelorette/bachelor group didn't know the address on her CA license (she moved and didn't get it updated). This bouncer then argued with the group and displayed very unprofessional behavior (yelling, argumentative). We definitely won't be giving The Eddy our business and they lost out on great business for this man's unprofessionalism. Hope they teach this bouncer to do his job by scanning licenses and letting paying customers in.

What a fun place! Loved the atmosphere with 3 bar areas plus a pizza spot. I wish there was another food option, but overall it was great. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. Lots of seating areas both booths, hightop tables, picnic tables, etc. there's big jenga games, cornhole, and bocce ball game areas. The bathrooms are around the backside and were clean when I went in. It was very open and the weather was nice which helped. I'm sure on really sunny days more shade would be helpful but surprisingly there was more umbrellas and large shades than I expected.

The Eddy in Reno, Nevada A happening container beer garden along the Truckee River in downtown Reno. I visit the Eddy every trip to Reno when the weather allows (they close starting at Thanksgiving for four months). They have a large, rotating menu of beers and ciders, as well as a full bar. While pizza is available daily, they also have various food trucks that visit monthly. While the service can sometimes be aloof and the locals stare at me funny as a woman out for a bevvy alone, it's a fun vibe and great for people watching. Family friendly, group friendly, dog friendly, and chock full of various seating areas, lawn games and music. Another local spot - it's sister property is The Block in Petaluma, CA.

One of my favorite bars here in Reno! The environment is great for large groups, it feels safe, and the staff are incredibly kind too. I always recommend getting here around 5:30ish before it gets too busy and it's right when they switch to 21+ only. The pizza here is fantastic if you're a fan of brick oven pizza! They always have a revolving special, but my personal favorite is the BBQ Chicken. They have food trucks too and being there for the La Barca food truck is even better! They always have a lot of cool events almost weekly, so it's always cool to check them out! Such as bingo, silent discos, Humane Society adoptions, alcohol release parties, etc.

What's not to love about a nice outdoor space with good ambiance now that it's getting warmer out? The weekend wait is typically pretty long, but that also shows that they make sure to enforce social distancing and not overfill. There are always good trucks and multiple bars with drink options for everyone. I love how every table has different seating. It feels like coming here everyone is just in a good mood. Perk: you can bring your dogs (and see everyone else's dogs). The staff is always friendly and accommodating. No complaints, I'm sure I'll be spending a few weekend afternoons with friends here this spring!

Fun for our large group, including three families, kids and dogs!! The kids had to be in before the sun went down on a Saturday night tho, I'm not sure if that's every day of the week...anyway great atmosphere, beer and DELICIOUS woodfired pizza!!

My husband and I planned to walk our dog along the Truckee River in town. It was a beautiful day so we decided to see if The Eddy was open for the season. Their Instagram story advertised Happy Hour is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Friday, so we decided to walk straight on over! It was bustling with people enjoying drinks, playing games, and having a fun time. For Happy Hour, they offer $2 off draughts, wine and well drinks. We opted for a couple IPAs. It's nice to have dog friendly places like this here in Reno - especially now that spring has sprung!

Love the concept of a couple food trucks, a bar, and games. The kids were able to run about and trip over themselves as the adults had a few drinks.

Cool outdoor atmosphere plenty of Beers and Drinks to choose from. Stopped by for a couple of beers. Personally didn't have food but the food I seen others have looked great.

My family loves the Eddy! Temperatures rising means more outdoor outings for us. The Eddie is a great spot to have a drink with friends, eat yummy local food and relax. My kids love coming as well as they have large scale games and fire pits. My children grew up coming here and love the ambiance! We love coming here in the summer months. We ALWAYS see people we know which is so freakin cool to hang together. During the day it's nice for families and young children. We will be back soon!

The bar was absolutely swamped and Miguel gave us amazing and prompt service. Honestly surprised how quick and accurately we were able to be served. Miguel specifically made the extra effort to go the distance for us and made a lasting impression. We will definitely be back.
