Five Getaways from Denver in Under Four Hours

"Housed in a repurposed brick factory on the edge of Denver where the city meets the Rockies, this boutique stay mixes industrial bones with Colorado coziness, combining exposed beams, leather accents, and big picture windows that frame the views. Rooms are filled with smart, functional details like bike hooks and pour-over coffee setups. An anchor of the neighborhood, the Eddy Taproom draws both guests and locals for Colorado brews and elevated pub fare, while communal firepits on the rooftop deck offer a relaxed place to gather and linger outdoors." - Katie Shapiro

New Design Hotels in Colorado’s Historic Mining Towns - AFAR

"A new-build, 49-room boutique on the former Golden Fire Brick Company site that draws on the town’s mining and industrial roots: guest rooms feature steel-riveted panels and salvaged-lumber desks meant to evoke old mining carts, hallways display black-and-white photographs of early Colorado School of Mines faculty, and an RFID-enabled key fob made of recycled wood mimics historical miners’ tags as a modern, souvenir-ready touch." - Nicholas DeRenzo

The Eddy Taproom & Hotel (Golden, Colorado) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Golden, Colorado is unique for having one foot squarely in the Denver metro area and the other in the foothills of the Rockies — and it’s got a long brewing history as well. The perfect spot, then, for something like the Eddy Taproom & Hotel, an old brickworks repurposed as a high-end contemporary boutique hotel attached to a substantial bar and restaurant. There’s no end of outdoor adventure to be had nearby, and the Eddy offers a number of public spaces, from the taproom to the rooftop patio and firepits, for decompressing and connecting with like-minded travelers and locals." - Tablet Hotels

I've recently become a regular at The Eddy. Their food is fantastic, drinks are great, and the service is stellar. The ambiance is lovely as well - always the right music, excellent decor. It's giving fine dining but with affordable prices. I would like to mention 2 exceptional bartenders, Flower and Bella. They were very welcoming and knowledgeable. As a Golden resident, I have to mention the ample parking as well. If I ever have anyone come to town, I'm hands-down recommending their stay to be at The Eddy. The location is super convenient, close to the Lookout Mountain, Red Rocks, and downtown Golden. The views are unbeatable. All around, just a fabulous place.

Google
The beat stay I’ve experienced in a while. The staff is so friendly, and accommodating! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, very clean! Housekeeping is on point every time we came back to our room the towels were fresh and the room was clean. I also have to mention the breakfast accommodations were the best I’ve ever had. I got engaged here in Colorado on this trip and the staff left cupcakes and champagne for us in the room. It was certainly one of the best stays I highly recommend you wont be disappointed.

Google
My experience was amazing from the time I walked in the door and was greeted by Jules. My group was a little early for our reservation so Jules guided us to the bar. At the bar Bella and Jay both made us amazing drinks! When it was our time to be seated for our reservation Jules showed us to our table that’s where Karlee took over. Karlee was amazing from the beginning to the end. She was extremely knowledgeable and informative about everything on the menu. After ordering our food and eating we were visited by chef Nick where he made sure everything turned out to perfection. It did! I would recommend a visit to the Eddy to anyone looking for great food and an even better atmosphere that is in the area! I can’t wait to visit again!!

Google
had such a great experience at Eddy’s Taproom & Hotel in Golden, and a huge part of that was thanks to Beck, our server assistant. From the moment we sat down, Beck was attentive, friendly, and incredibly on top of everything. Drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, plates were cleared quickly, and the whole service felt seamless without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was Beck’s warm personality — they checked in with genuine kindness and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It’s rare to come across someone who balances efficiency and hospitality so effortlessly. If you’re stopping by Eddy’s, you’re in great hands if Beck is working. They truly elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend!

Google
I had an amazing experience! The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming — perfect for grabbing drinks. The food and cocktails were fantastic, but what really made the visit special was the service!! Sam was incredible! Super attentive, genuinely friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell he really cares about the guest experience. Highly recommend stopping by The Eddy Taproom — and definitely ask for Sam!

We had a great family dinner at The Eddy with Miracle and Grammy joined us! Jenna, Raven, and Dana were such a lovely welcome as you enter the doors. We stopped to chat with Corey on the truck before we came in. Barbie was great and Luke was fast at running food. Thanks for a festive night out! Our boys loved the decor, TVs, juice boxes, and Dana even gave them koalas. It's the little things. And Leslie was great and checked on us. Xoxo Thanks for taking great care of us!

Google
The Eddy has a great vibe! We walked in today and were greeted with festive holiday decorations and greetings by all staff. We ate a wonderful lunch sitting at the bar. Flower was a great server/bartender! She was very friendly and attentive to her customers. We enjoyed conversation with the other people seated there, and Flower was taking care of all of us. Great experience.😊

The hotel is wonderful! The rooms are so comfortable and I love the style and vibe of the hotel. Very Colorado and unique. Miracle bar is amazing and festive! Food was wonderful - totally recommend the trout dip! Drinks were fantastic; gotta love the Smoked Old Fashioned. Sarah was our server and so attentive and friendly. Will be back and thank you!

Yelp
Stayed in the area last minute and this place looked cool. What we liked: * Staff were all friendly and felt like they were glad we were there. * The room keys were just neat, weird I know but we thought the little wooden chip as a key was unique. * arrived a bit earlier than check in so had a cocktail at the bar, good time. Loved our drinks. The blueberry manhattan was delicious. * Free beer with token upon check in was nice. Hydration is key. * Room was simple but had nice touches. Liked the motion sensor for the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Water in the room. * Full coffee bar on the room floor when you get off elevator. * Didn't get to use at night but the rooftop areas looked nice. At least in the morning for coffee they were * Fancy cupcakes and bubbly in the fridge was a nice surprise. The hand written welcome note was a nice touch. * Included continental breakfast had a decent breakfast burrito, parfaits, waffles and cereals. * free easy to connect WiFi * Again, last minute Sunday. Checked their site for rooms and one available, booked a corner room. The hotel called a couple hours later and said there was a mistake, I really thought they were going to tell me they had no rooms. Just has a different room, that was a bit cheaper. I think the lady calling was thinking we would be mad, it was all good. They handled it great. Can't really think of anything that needed to better- loved it and will stay again.

Yelp
My wife was there yesterday and ordered the gyro sandwich and brought me the leftover Umm...so shaved beef with no lamb is not a gyro...also a bone that I could have choked on and definitely killed my dog is unacceptable! Who is your chef. Fire him now or we will take legal action

Maritza M.

Yelp
This hotel is super cute and the staff especially the front desk girls were super nice and welcoming. Blaine was so sweet and ensured we had the best stay! Overall the hotel was great . Rooms super clean and the vibe was so relaxing here. They have live bands and a nice patio to grab a drink and relax with and amazing view. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back (:

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in Golden! Room was extremely spacious, clean and modern though still captured Colorado spirit. Easy walk to and from Golden center. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the Lavazza machines on each floor and the scrumptious self-serve breakfasts overlooking the mountains each morning. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Review for the bar: flower was an amazing server and made our holiday pit stop to look at Christmas lights along a great one! We had wonderful service and delicious, festive drinks!

Yelp
Came here with friends to visit the Miracle Bar pop up! I will say it's way cozier, spacious and comfortable in this location versus the Union Station one, though I feel like the holiday decorations could be more amplified. I would still prefer this location though since they actually have food. Service was also very patient and attentive which made the night flow very smoothly. Great location!

Yelp
A wonderful boutique hotel in Golden, Colorado... minutes from Coors, if you're into that. It's 20 minutes from Denver, but you feel so far away from the city and it's relaxing. We had room 411, king bed and it was very comfortable. Lots of lights, ample seating, plenty of usb charging stations, plenty of storage space, bottles of water and a icy cold refrigerator. The shower water is hot but the water pressure is low. The toiletries are masculine scented, so if you want floral scent , bring your own. There's a sign that says if you want your room serviced, call them. On each floor is a coffee bar featuring Nespresso, an ice machine and a water dispenser to fill up your hydro flask. Included in the hotel rate is breakfast, which had waffles, homemade parfait, fruit, bagels, omelette, juices and a very good breakfast burrito. Parking is free but be warned that on Saturday there was a wedding and a birthday. We didn't find parking until after 7:00 pm.

Yelp
The Eddy was just fantastic. The whole experience was really a bit above, from the delicious beer samples when we checked in to the excellent food and drink menu at the restaurant bar to the complimentary bottle of champagne my girlfriend and I shared on the romantic rooftop patio. This is the place to stay in golden and we will absolutely be back!

Yelp
We stopped at the #foodtruck outside during a lovely spring-like walk in January. Service was great, food was so-so. The #burntends #sandwich was kinda just mushy outside of the onion rings' presence. The #oreo #milkshake was ok, a little runny. The Pup Shake gave our dog the WORST farts, like, our dog is clearly sick and might be dying-farts. #goldenco #coloradofoodies #diningcolorado

Yelp
Great staff, comfy seating, good beer and yummy food! The pretzel is huge, warm and good. I also had the burger with waffle fries. The burger was on the small side which was fine since we had drinks and the pretzel. The waffle fries were super yummy, very crispy. Try the tangerine cream ale, it just hits right!

Yelp
10 mins from Red Rocks, best place to stay for a quick in and out when coming to Denver. Complimentary craft IPAs at check in. The hotel is new + modern, situated next to a river and greenway for getting some outdoor exercise. The hotel is dog friendly and there's lots of activities. A lively place without being crowded.

Yelp
Service was atrocious. I waited on a server who was serving arrivals after myself. I requested the burger and beer special because I was there since 4:50 but was not served. I got service at 5 on the dot( happy hour is until 5)., saying I didn't get here in time, hmmm. So I requested a manager who showed up at 515 saying she would make things ok, but quite argumentative. Thought my burger and a beer were coming. Got a beer and at 556 asked where my burger was, and she Inputtee the wrong order and blaimed me. Burger and beer was 12 dollars. Yet I got charged 9 dollars for the beer... When I asked where it was the manager got very argumentative. Horrible service.

Yelp
Stayed here this past weekend to experience a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, and this truly was a VIP experience. For a couple of lazy homebody's this was the best vacation we have been on. After driving 14 + hours from CA to CO, we were welcomed with great vibes and a beer! Checking in was quick and easy and our room was comfortable and so beautiful! Spacious with modern decor, it was perfect! With a 25 dollar charge you get the best breakfast, not just bread and boxed cereal, but warm omelets with homemade salsa and a chorizo burrito! So sweet! With that includes bike rentals! This hotel has paths all around the property 100% perfect for pets! We wish we brought our fur babies, but only more reason to come back for a second visit. If you don't take the opportunity to rent the bike, I highly suggest you take the opportunity to take advantage of their transportation to Red Rocks, I truly felt like I was a part of a Real Housewives franchise or like a A list celebrity! Back at home I'm always the DD so it was absolutely so refreshing to relax and not worry about a damn single thing, shout out to our driver Chris who made our experience that much more better! Can't wait for our next trip to Golden, we'll definitely be at the Eddy! Also my partner really really enjoyed the food truck! And I really enjoyed the grilled cheese with chimichurri! 10/10

Yelp
The food is horrible at this place. I'm local to golden . This was my second try. The first time was 2 years ago. The food is really not good . I had a pile of salt and seasoning sitting on my fries and the tacos that they called "Mediterranean " were not good at all. Cold! Drenched in some kind of bad sauce. I honestly sent it back and didn't order anything else cause I was scared of what else would come out. The service was good . She was a bit slow but I think she was the only waitress . She was nice and she did try and accommodate me. I had ordered an aperal spritz for a drink but it was super flat . The prosecco or club or both had no fizz at all . The drink was no good but she replaced it with a glass of wine which was a lot better. The view is nice even though I have the same view on my back patio from my house. I think they need a new chef. Good place for drinks , bad place for food.

Yelp
I got a gift certificate for a one night stay in Bank King room. I called to redeem the certificate and I mentioned in the booking that it was our wedding anniversary. We checked in, they were very friendly. Even gave us a sample of their beer (forgot what it was). Then we got in our room and they have a bottle of bubbly for us. They didn't have to do that since technically they weren't getting any money from us. Lol. But it was really sweet and appreciated. We were going to grab dinner at the restaurant but they had some event going on and too many people so we went to downtown Golden instead. But we came back and delicious drink at the bar. I love the room (I wish I took pictures). And I really appreciate the little surprise. Thank you.

Yelp
Love this place. Great food, staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Dog friendly too!

Yelp
We just had our wedding at the Eddy and it was the most amazing time we could have ever imagined. From the perfectly decorated rooms, bar, and everywhere else to the amazing staff that worked their tails off and had a lot of last minute adjustments thanks to Mother Nature dropping 8" of snow, everything was immaculate!! Dani and Jamie were the 2 event planners from the Eddy that were so accommodating and went above and beyond for us every step of the way! Executive Chef Ben and the food team were ELITE!! The food was so amazing and is so good to just go there randomly for food/drinks. Everything on their menu is so delicious. We had the very best day ever celebrating our big day and the Eddy Team showed up and showed out!! The rooms were top notch, the rooftops were amazing, and the views were stunning. We highly recommend this place for any and everybody whether you're planning your wedding or just looking to go grab food and drinks on a random night, there's no better place to choose than the Eddy Taproom and Hotel in Golden, CO. Big love Eddy team and thank you so much again for everything!!!!

Yelp
They hosted a birthday pawty for Aspen today and it was so much fun! Love that you can bring your pup inside the taproom and lounge outside. Both areas are so great and comfy. Staff is super friendly and will definitely be back for more food and drinks with the pup! The winter margarita is so good and the bartender puts a lot of effort into making the shrub!
google avatar

Yelp
I came to the Eddy with family friends and it was such a good time ! We got plenty of drinks along with the brisket nachos. We did have a recommendation for the staff. The nachos are only on the happy hour menu, however they are such a hit that they should have them all the time. So many people ordered the chips and queso and then ordered just brisket and made their own nachos. However, we had a great experience. Will be going back!

Shelly M.

Yelp
MAC & CHEESE Was hopeful the mac & cheese with burnt ends would be delicious but it was more like a pasta dish with a light coating. Nothing creamy, nothing moist. Just dry coating and dry burnt ends. Staff was friendly, restaurant was nice and wide open doors at the table area was really enjoyable. Also had BLT and Golden Bowl salad that were very good. Salad is big enough for two.

Yelp
Last night my boyfriend and I went to check out The Eddy and have some craft beers, made some friends, overall a pleasant evening...until this horrendous bartender was unbelievably rude! Bartender: What can I get you? Customer: Hey man, how are you? Bartender: What can I get you? Customer: (Realizing bartender may not have heard him) How are you? Can I get two Damn Blanches? Bartender: You don't care how I am. (Proceeds to get the beers) Customer: Yeah I care, that's why I asked...how are you? Bartender: You don't care man. Customer: alright thanks. Bartender proceeds to give us the evil eye from across the bar. It was so bizarre! We do not know that guy nor understand why he decided to put a damper on our evening. There were two bartenders, the rude one had George Costanza hair.

Yelp
The food was amazing and fresh, with the beautiful scenery outdoors. Highly recommend this place. Took a pic but unable to upload. The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich and Gnocchi was amazing

Yelp
Such a cool location! The Burnt End Mac n Cheese was good. Dog friendly and brought them water! There's a dog park right around the corner that we brought them to after.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our staycation with a night away here & I honestly wish I could give this place 5 stars but as I was writing this, my rating kept dropping. I really wanted to give at least 4 stars but... The good stuff first! The rooms are really comfortable and even though I usually hate sliding/barn-style doors in hotels, this one made it bearable with hooks on each door. The hotel guests get access to 2 rooftop patios and some extra amenities like bikes. The hostess never really explained how the coffee situation works but after wandering a bit we discovered a "pantry" where you grab your coffee on different floors (not available on first). Parking during the day was a bit challenging but opened up once folks headed home. They also have a good selection of toiletries, but they have a very strong oak/cologne smell (not my personal fave). My biggest complaint? We had a first floor room and the lights on the patio we were facing never dimmed throughout the night. This meant we had multiple bright lights glaring as we tried to sleep. As a light sleeper who needs a "home away from home"/hotel room super dark, this made it incredibly difficult to actually get a good nights rest.

Yelp
First let me say...what an amazing setting. Comfortable place to just hang out and enjoy being outside. When we saw this place we were excited to hang out. The service was terrible. It took the waitress about 10 minutes to come by to take a drink order. Drinks took forever to come out, a soda, beer on tap and 2 lemonades. When she came by to say she was going back to get our drinks we asked if she could take our order and she couldn't because she didn't have her pad. So we had to wait. Once she took our order the food actually came out of the kitchen quickly. The medium burger on the menu came out well done. The food was Ok. Not great. We got our check, gave a credit card and she charged my card for another table. I asked for the voided receipt but there was no manager who could help. I wish the service was better, and the food even just a little better because it's a cool place.

Yelp
Had reservations for the Miracle Bar pop up I'd made weeks ago, looking forward to it! Last minute day of - stuff came up and we were unable to make the reservations. When I went to cancel, realized they may charge me a fee for late cancellation - whatever, I get it. People need to make money. I cancelled anyway. Was charged $40 for the cancellation - that's a bit ridiculous. I understand the premise, but I'd really been looking forward to the experience and can't help that we were not able to be there last minute. All this to say - I don't plan to ever come now; that's an insane amount to charge someone just for not being able to come. Seems like a cool place, but not willing them to give them any more of my money after that experience.

Yelp
We had a great 2 night stay at The Eddy to see a concert at Red Rocks. We saw a European band I had wanted to see for years and one night at Red Rocks was their only stop in North America. This prompted my first trip to Colorado from Chicago and The Eddy was the first stop of a week-long trip (RMNP was added to the itinerary). The Eddy really rolled out the red carpet and started the trip out right for us. Very luxe considering what I'm used to for trips where I'm not really inside the room much but The Eddy just made things so convenient and easy not to not stay there. We booked transportation to and from the concert with them as well as a morning hike with Carly from Rocky Mountain Hiking Company (this was a trip highlight-highly recommend). We selected the hike because we knew we didn't really want to just walk around the town all day and not being from the area, we weren't sure where to hike- especially as we adjusted to the altitude. The free continental breakfast was the best I've had anywhere (breakfast burritos, omelets, DIY waffle bar), there is a filtered water/ice machine and coffee bar on each floor- we used the water machine to frequently hydrate (as were told is a good idea when adjusting to the altitude change) and to fill up our water bladders for hiking. We took advantage of the "Enchance your stay" feature and had craft beer and trail mix set for us in our room at check-in which we thought would make a nice touch after a long day of airport travel followed by walking the trails for a few hours at Red Rocks. We didn't take advantage of the bike trail outside the hotel (they offer complementary bikes- I think regular and electronic) but we would have had we stayed one more day. The restaurant/bar we did take advantage of during our stay- was ok- we shared the mac and cheese and the gnocchi and we each liked one better. The drinks were ok but not the best (my travel companion tried two on separate occasions and ended up passing them to me- too strong- needed to be balanced better). It was nice coming back from a morning hiking and having mimosas. The beer was good. The chicken looked good but we didn't feel like having, burgers looked good too but we had just ate burgers, I would have loved to have seen a fish entree. Didn't try any desserts. It would have been nice to stay there when the food truck was in operation. The staff at the bar/restaurant were really nice though. That stood out for sure. All the dog-friendly accommodations were cute and made us miss our pooch. The rooftop porches with the gas fire pits were nice- spent a bit of time out there- peaceful and quiet. It's not a no-brainer but it was definitely a good introduction to the area.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe and excellent drinks, but the food is subpar. There is nothing wrong with the food, it is just okay. I've been three times and tried three different things and walk away every time feeling the same way.

Yelp
Really love the decor and vibe of this place, but its definitely over priced. We sat at the bar and had good service! The flight comes with 4 beers and was a little pricey at $18. My husband had the burger with bacon added, at a whopping $19, but said it was top 5 burgers hes had! The fries were really good! I ordered from the food truck and it was good, but pricey and you dont get much meat at all. I got the pulled pork sandwhich, which is only $13, but the sides all come in a pint and are all $6. I had the mac n cheese and it def wasnt worth the $6. We would go back for the vibe of the place but probably not eat or maybe just get an appetizer instead. Love that it is dog friendly!

Yelp
Hard place to review! Beautiful views, beautiful design, fantastic music, good food. Menu is bizarre. Service is slow. Management is clueless. Prices are aspen-like. 5 stars and one stars equals three!

Yelp
Loved this hotel!! It's a smallish size with amazing amenities, like a welcome beer, rooftop with fire pits, daily breakfast, and coffee on each floor. Our floor's coffee machine didn't work one day, and they were out of full-caf pods the second day, but there's coffee in the lobby bar. The patio hosts lawn games and opens up to the bar/restaurant. The decor is so great! Lots of care put into this place and friendly service. They have bikes you can use to explore Golden, but it's also a quickish walk to downtown. Would gladly stay here again!
google avatar

Yelp
I was enchanted by this hotel that I call "Mountain Modern." Not only was my room, view, and accommodations welcoming-- but the staff was caring and willing to go that extra mile. When I left my laptop in the restaurant of the hotel, Julia Johnson, one of the managers, personally took it to FedX and had it promptly shipped home to me. When I go back, I plan to stay there again.

Yelp
Our favorite hotel in the greater Denver/ Boulder and Golden area. If you know, you know... hint hint... register to be a member online and save on your stay

Yelp
Worst possible manager no return call No closet or even a rack in main bedroom of a 600 dollar suite Front desk is good it's management that is the problem Heater control out of order Coffee maker not working Terrible management not staff.. they are fine

Yelp
This is a great hotel in Golden, CO. Super edgy and hip. Cool room design and many touches that just show the great care of the hotel in assuring comfort to travelers. The bar is great and the staff is super attentive and friendly. They have an outdoor sitting area that is wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Very close to the small, intimate downtown Golden.

Yelp
I was looking forward to a nice lunch with friends but left disappointed and then even more frustrated after my credit card bill came. Service was fair, but the place was empty and we had to wait for a good bit. Food was OK, but overpriced. Better restaurants and ambiance located in downtown Golden, that are certainly more walkable. Also, the Waitress changed the tip on my credit card for her benefit. I made several calls and sent emails to the restaurant about this and have been unsuccessful with management taking ownership, responsibility, and driving to resolution. Beware!

Yelp
Great stay! I loved everything about it. The styling was really fantastic. The vibe was modern vintage industrial all of the elements beautifully married. A couple hints: grab your own drinks and hang out on the rooftop patio under the clock tower. They run out of coffee pods (they were out of regular my whole stay) so make sure to get coffee at breakfast. The bikes were amazing to ride around the town! Don't miss doing this. The staff was amazing! The dog is so cute and loved that the place was pet friendly. One thing, the food was just okay. We got the mushroom dip, which is an amazing idea, but it was dry and flavorless. We are excited to try it at home and perfect it. Such a great idea, not well executed. Pretzel was so expensive despite the great presentation, it really is just a pretzel. Eat in town. Great ambiance, okay food. The breakfast is a wonderful continental buffet. The breakfast burritos are frozen, but it was all I would ever need. I am not a huge breakfast person. The lady at the front desk suggested we go to Indian Hot Springs for a hot spring visit. She never should have done that. Beware to check yelp before following suggestions. But I really loved my stay! I would go back for sure and recommend you go too.

Yelp
We enjoyed our brief Friday night visit to the hotel lobby for drinks. Pretty much a hidden gem located at the base of the foothills giving you some awesome views of the mountains. The hotel has only about 50 rooms which gives it a cozy feel. The staff were very nice and the crowd is definitely a younger (mid-thirties). Family friendly and very new as they just opened on June 1st 2021. The lobby is a great place to relax and enjoy your evening. No real restaurant and the menu is very limited for dinner. I would probably explore other options if you're looking for a sit-down meal. It looked like you could pretty much sit anywhere and be served some food and drinks. The pretzel needs a lot of work! Hard and crunchy! These are supposed to be warm and soft. We came to check out the venue for an upcoming wedding event. When we asked if we could see a room or any of the property's areas, we were handed a card of the event coordinator and told we cannot show you anything right now. Saw the Manager pop his head out of the office but nobody showed any real interest of answering a few questions. Needless to say, a very nice property. They have no pool, hot tub or spa which is what really qualifies you as a five-star property. No happy hour specials or any reason to bring locals to the property. Other than that, I would say, upscale and nice!

Yelp
Wonderful time at The Eddy's pop up Christmas bar. Very cozy Christmas feel. Great food, great server (Dana), great venue, music and decorations. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
Great place to bring the kids and let them play with the gigantic Jenga and chess pieces. Nice, soft grassy area to chill in. Lovely view. Middle of the road to meh food. The thing that got me was the total lack of environmental awareness. Unless you order an entree, everything comes in disposable containers. Regardless of how long you're staying. Totally crazy the amount of waste!

Yelp
The Eddy Taproom and Hotel was a great time. It has great views of the Colorado Mountains and our room was cozy and comfy. Our room was immaculately clean. We had a few drinks at the bar and had great conversation with our bartender, Gonzo. He was tentative and even got creative with some Mocktails since I don't drink. Food here was great. I highly recommend the chicken wings. Can't wait for our next stay at The Eddy

Yelp
The first time I thought it was a fluke but now twice I go in and take about 15 minutes just to get waters or anyone to come to our table.. says it's under staffed but was about 4 servers a bartender and only 8 tables seated. Unfortunate because I live next door and would be one hell of a customer for the sake of Convenience alone

Yelp
My family & I stayed at the Eddy Hotel over the New Years and it was AWESOME!! It's such a cool hip place! We hung out at the taproom downstairs and the food was so good. The BBQ from their food truck was outstanding!! Our room was really clean and so well laid out. Lastly & most importantly, the Staff was amazing!!!

Yelp
Grabbed a couple beers and lunch with friends and was disappointed by the service. We never got a water refill even after asking and our glasses standing empty for around an hour. Waitress didn't write our order down and got my entree wrong and also didn't get the modifications right on my companions order. Tried to bribe us with a free side after the meal was started rather than bringing the correct entree or comping the meal. Didn't ask how the check should be split and charged us all equal bills rather than what each person had ordered. Drinks, food, and bill all took longer than one would hope. I used to work restaurants and understand mistakes happen and busy times are hard to handle as a worker. However in this case, the place was only around 25% capacity. Saw our waiter chatting at the bar so the poor service we got wasn't due to a lunch rush but rather carelessness and poor management practices. Sad that the service/management is so sub par because it's a nice space.

Yelp
We blocked half of the hotel for guests and wedding party for my daughters wedding. The accommodations were pretty outstanding. We rented their private party room for welcoming drinks and a few speeches. It was A wonderful pre-wedding night. We had a quick rehearsal on the lawn. The wedding party of 13 girls had plenty of room for getting ready in their two bedroom suite. We had three buses taking up the parking lot to transport our guests to the wedding venue. The Eddy staff was very accommodating for all of our needs. Thank you Nicole and the rest of the Eddy staff.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! The hotel is super cute. The rooms are huge, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The taproom and restaurant are equally as wonderful.

Yelp
Positives are the good food and nice server. However, the live music was way too loud for such a small restaurant; what's the deal with allowing so many dogs inside the already small, crowed restaurant (there's an outdoor patio for a reason); and the garage door wide open on an evening in February made it uncomfortably cold.

Yelp
Would have given it a five but this morning we went for breakfast and coffee and nothing. Nobody there to set it up and no apology from the front desk. Apparently catering doesn't want the front desk touching their stuff but since we paid $25 a day fee for those amenities, they should be there at the proper time especially at a four star hotel. I could go to another floor for a coffee machine which seemed only to want to brew espresso, etc. Just a frustrating beginning to our trip home.
