"Few bars have thrived during COVID as the Edge has. Having expanded into not one but two parklets, it has cemented its position as the Castro’s default Happy Hour destination on a tree-lined corner at the neighborhood’s true edge. But make no mistake: The Edge will always be for musical-theater geeks and show-tune queens, with nights like Musical Mondays and Dirty Musical Sundays alongside socially conscious live entertainment like all-trans drag shows plus drag brunches. If you like to watch Drag Race in the company of people who can cite the previous seasons’ mini-challenge winners with savant-like precision, The Edge is for you." - Peter-Astrid Kane

I spent a fantastic day with my teenage children. Surprisingly, I even had a great time. We bought the summer unlimited day special. The special $30 per person price included laser tag, go-carts, and bumper cars. Although I am older and not so in shape, it was an enjoyable time! Laser tag was a cardio workout; we were all sweaty when we were done. Ensure you wear shoes and no flip-flops; another guest was turned away. We spent around $90. It can get expensive to enjoy all The Edge has to offer. This location offers much more, but we had a long drive home and didn’t enjoy everything. An arcade area as you walk in costs about $.50 &up per game. There was a bowling alley, which I wanted to enjoy, but it was closed. There is also a concession stand, a bar, and a restaurant, including a movie theater. The staff was terrific and helpful. We plan to visit at least twice a year if permitted. Would recommend.

Half of the machines are out of order. Three of the machines that we played needed an out of order sign because they took our kid's money. The go carts were also backed up due to mechanical issues with a cart(s). The place looks and feels like 1980. It could really use some updates. I'd recommend going to Dogwood in Ofallon for arcades in this area.

My wife and I came to the bistro on a Friday night. It wasn’t overwhelming busy for a Friday, but we had to wait over an hour between ordering our food and receiving it. The taste was far from being worth the wait. When the check came, 20% gratuity was already added in, though our service did not warrant such. We will not be returning for such poor service and food.

Google
Great place for a date night movie. We came for the bistro theater. The theater was very clean and well kept. We ordered some food to eat during the movie and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the other amenity’s, they also have a really nice bar and restaurant as well as arcades, laser tag, and go carts. I highly recommend everyone checking this place out.

My family and I came in 02/15/2025 and had an absolute horrible experience from the time we arrived, til we left. The entire staff were unfriendly, unprofessional and made myself and family, including children incredibly uncomfortable. The bar staff were rude and uncommunicative. The servers rolled their eyes and behaved as though we annoyed them, or somehow irritated them. It got to the point were I gathered my family and left the establishment because the wait staff refused to service us. To come here all the way from Hazelwood, MO to be disrespected and ruining the kids birthday, I’m very concerned and disappointed in the behavior of the entire staff. Do better. We will not spend our money here ever again. We will not return and be sure to advice others not to support this business.

Google
This place has so much potential but falls far short. Let’s start with the bowling. We signed up for an hour and with 16 min left of our hour we decided we wanted to extend. The only person that was upstairs was gone for over 25 min and our game time ran out without our ability to continue so we lost our game. The bowling area is in need of updating. My husband’s shoes didn’t have a tongue, one of the pins was literally broken in half, and the balls all had chips in them. We went downstairs to then do the go kart, there was zero organization. First it was a group of 3, a group of 2, then all of a sudden they let in a group of 14 of us. After we all loaded in they informed us that we couldn’t all go together. So despite us being next in line we had to wait again for the people behind us to go first. This place could be a much needed indoor play area with the right management and team but as it stands right now I would not recommend coming here.

Google
I loved it there, though there are a few minor problems. Every time i go the photo booth isn’t working, and some other games are out of order. Overall, i always have a blast. Laser tag is the best, go karts is kind of dangerous though, never do go karts when theres adults.

Google
Not one for bad reviews, but this place needs a renovation. The majority of the arcade games are out of order, the ones working stop in the middle of play or land on win and don't pay out. The go carts are cool but malfunction, so you never really go a complete round without stopping. The laser tag area is big and really the only reason for the trip. My advice would be to avoid buying game cards all together. Or maybe just find a better place to take the kiddos.

Yelp
Been in S. IL for awhile, have often seen this place in passing on the freeway. Man have we been missing out!! This place doesn't look like much from outside (more like an old roller rink or bowling alley) but you go inside and WOW! They have so much going on movie theaters, race cars, bumper cars, bar, restaurant and video games. We all had such a great time!! Unfortunately they have a height and age limit on the cars, even though my grandson surpassed the height limit he was unable to ride (even with a paying adult) because he didn't meet age reqs, no-one in our group got to utilize the car part. As for the gaming area, we played almost $200bks if not more but didn't notice since we had such fun and all the games were working!! *Quick Note*... we've been going to DogWoods and it's always a disappointment because their game selection sucks and mostly because the very few games they have are broke down! The Edge IS our new got to place The food was Not Disappointing. We got burgers which were all so yummy as were the fries and a appetizer of chili fries for the table, omg those chili fries didn't look the best BUT darn were those babies so freakn' good!!! In fact we all went back just for those chili fries! Service was very nice, they mixed up our, forgot bacon on both bacon burgers, brought a burger plate we didn't order and another burger was the wrong burger but it got fixed when we mentioned it....I was a little disappointed they didn't offer a discount on the meal when they mess up orders but the good food seemed to have made us forget about the mix up. Ps they do have a small room with casino machines for the grown up near the bar.

Yelp
Came to player laser tag and the game has been changed. Felt like it was a big waste and they should go back to the way it was. You get hit and you're down 5 secs then, you get hit again back to back to back, now you're down 15 secs. Good luck scoring any points and this kept going on for the duration of the game. So, basically I paid to not play. Please put it back the way it was.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Started off bad and just got worse. We waited 40 mins for a table, we were only sat after checking in with the host station and found out they were sitting a group that came in after us. Then we waited over an hour for our food for them to forget the pizza. Our food came out cold. I had the 5 alarm burger, it had potential but the bun had been under the heater for so long that it was toasted and hard. The onion rings were cold. My husband's pasta had begun to separate and he was able to drain a significant amount of oil from it. The place was very disorganized and I saw half the staff running about working while the other half stood around talking. We also let our kids play in the arcade however half the machines were broke and the ones that worked had problems with the scanner. It was very disappointing, the place has potential but has a lot of improvements to make before we would return.

Yelp
The worst movie theater experience I have ever encountered. We got tickets for the Bistro. Nobody was at the ticket counter and we waited 10 minutes for someone to help us. We ordered popcorn and soft drinks. The popcorn was dry, unbuttered, and hardly had any salt. We were told our drinks would take some time and they would bring it into the theater for us. We did not receive our drinks until 30 minutes after ordering. Additionally, Nobody was there to check tickets and a group of teenagers had snuck into the movie. They apparently have rules that anyone under 21 is not allowed in the bistro theater past a certain time at night, but this is definitely not enforced as tickets were not even checked. The group shouted, played music, walked in and out of the theater multiple times, and were fighting throughout the entire duration of the movie. I will never be taking my business to the edge again.

Fran B.

Yelp
What a fun place! I just moved to the area recently and going to the movies used to be one of my favorite things before the pandemic. I thought the only theatre in the area with recliners was in O'Fallon. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem! I love the bistro theatre! I can't wait to bring all my friends to explore everything else! I took one star off because I ordered food in the theatre and my burger did not come with any condiments (mayo, mustard). It's also way too dark in the theatre for me too eat so next time I will eat at the restaurant.

Ashley L.

Yelp
We recently gone and they renovated the front room looks much cleaner for sure. But feels way more empty, the games kinda suck still, restaurant staff are ehhh ok kinda rude but more like they don't wanna be there food is good except kids menu, my son got a hotdog that was shriveled up and bun was hard as if they left the bag open over night or something, asked for a new one they brought back something similar

Nancy G.

Yelp
many arcade games out of order; go karts that should have been pulled off track as inoperable were still used. too many teens working without proper supervision. poor customer service from teens working. management needs to step up and supervise kids, make very needed repairs to games, go karts, etc

Kimmy S.

Yelp
I'm not sure where to start but I guess I will start with the good stuff. This is a huge entertainment center for both kids and adults. They have a movie theater, arcade, VR, bumper cars, go carts, bowling, laser tag, and a restaurant/bar. The employees that were working the VR, and go carts were awesome! Staff in general here were friendly but the manager needs some training. Example would be serving customers in the order they were in line but he helped people randomly. There are a few areas with arcade games. We didn't know there was one upstairs with bowling. If we would have known we would have the kids wonder up there to play games too. But the games are expensive!! They're 1$ per game and some of these games can be played as fast as 2 seconds. VR ranges from 4-8$ and that's a bit pricy for a game that's a few mins long. My sister in law ended up spending about 100$ in VR for her kids. They also kinda cheat you when you're loading your card so watch your card history. For example, you buy 20$ you get 22$ of credit so 2$ for free. But once you swipe for that first game. They will take it back. When we swiped for a 4$ game, they took 4$ plus 2$. We should have paid attention a little closer. Overall, this is a good place for a little entertaining but be prepared to drop some $$$$.

Valerie B.

Yelp
Most of the arcade games that give tickets are out of order. The prizes are VERY limited! The bowling ally hasn't been available the last 4 times we went. Everything seems to be run down at this point. This used to be one of our favorite spots, but not anymore! Just a waist of money.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
My friend wanted to go to the edge to watch the KC football game. I verbalized that over the last few years, my experience has been poor. She persisted and I decided to give it another try. We sat at the bar and was told the special was 2 topping pizza or wings and a hopper of beer for $26.00. We ordered a pizza (pepperoni and bacon) and a hopper of Michelob Ultra. We also ended up ordering additional food during our visit. At the end of the night we paid the bill, left and didn't look at the bill closely. Our bad!!! The 28.00 special was 28.99 plus an additional 1.99 for pepperoni and 3.00 for Michelob Ultra. There was never a mention of any up charge when we ordered!!! Once upon a time many of my friends and myself would go on a regular basis, it has the potential to be a great place! Do better Edge, do better!!!

Jason S.

Yelp
Avoid for food but kids will like the laser tag. We've lived down the road for 11 years. We would give the restaurant a try once in a while and walk away saying never again. Overpriced for very low quality and super long wait. Tonight was the last straw. Only time I've ever walked out of a restaurant before getting food. Family of 6, we waited 45 minutes after ordering, still no food. All the tables around us who arrived after us had their order. Staff is polite but disorganized. This time I mean it. Never again. But at least the kids enjoyed the laser tag.

Terry W.

Yelp
We have always enjoyed seeing movies in the two bistro theaters. With the pandemic we hadn't been in a while, but visited yesterday. We were disappointed that they have changed their menu to mostly burgers and fries, we used to love their wraps, so we settled for a chipotle chicken sandwich. It would've been pretty good had they actually not chopped up The gristly part of the chicken breast (The hard gelatin type part where the chicken breast bone narrows at the tip), and served it on the sandwich. I could see accidentally happening, but we both ordered the same sandwich and both of us had several pieces of an edible gristle that we had to spit out. Somebody in the kitchen is either lazy or not paying attention. Chicken breast it's not that hard to serve. No pictures because it was in a dark theater.

Joseph C.

Yelp
This used to be such a great place to go. We still love the movie theatre but there are MAJOR issues with safety. The police are called out there very often for fights . Some of the kids that hang out There are very rude and physically assault other kids. The management needs to do a better job with providing safety to their patrons. Very sad to say, but I would stay clear of this place

Briana H.

Yelp
My family and I would always go to this place for some of my siblings birthdays and they loved it and still do love it. Having birthday parties there are always a blast and let's you leaving the place with a smile on your face. As far as going their with hanging out with friends, still recommend it just to go out and hang somewhere

Susan R.

Yelp
If I could leave no stars I would. Let me start by saying I have lived here for 6 years and have only been to Marcus Theater with zero complaints, ever. My neighbor recommended Edge because it cost less,so we decided to try it. Purchased tickets on Fantango (the same as Marcus) without issue with selecting our seats. We purchased our tickets and was also charged a 3 25 service fee. Arrived 30 mins early - checked out where our seats were then proceed to order food and beverages (bistro eating). After we ordered we went back into the theater and 2 people were sitting in our seats-we compared tickets and we both had the same 2 seats. An usher/server came in to serve food and we stopped her - she too checked our tickets, suggested we take 2 other seats not yet occupied and when I asked her "what happens when these people come in?" She then asked her to foller her out of the theater back to the food station - directed the person behind the counter to "help us because she was too busy.." she looked up our seats, didn't know what to do (because the were fully booked" and called for a manager... 10 minutes later a young man comes to the counter equally confused what to do (20 minutes have now passed) and my husband who NEVER gets angry) asks for our money back and our food ordered canceled- the man hand hi. Our money bur not the service fee...says that he can give us the corporate number to discuss with them...I'm now getting very angry and informed them we are not leaving without our full refund.... only now is the actual manager called and she comes over. Her only response to her was to blame fandango for this, to tell me they only get 25 cents for every ticket, does ZERO to compensate us for our trouble of coming into her facility with no movie to watch and the kicker was when she had the gall to say "I hope you try us again". Wow. I'm the first person to admit issues happen, but, it's the recovery to a problem that makes you a good business. They had zero plan "b" we wasted time and money on a movie experience that didn't happen abs as first time customers we will never return. We ended up getting tickets at Marcus in the parking lot at the edge. We learned our lesson - you get what you pay for.

Jeni M.

Yelp
We love it here. I must confess that I use this place as motivation for my seven year old to fill his marble jar. He loves to improve his behaviors when The Edge is the reward. The Skee Ball and the giant Connect Four games are the best IMO. The last time we were there, we tried the go carts...so much fun! Next time I want to try the bistro theater without the seven year old, haha...he can't have all the fun!

Gagik K.

Yelp
Super fun place. The bumper cars, go carts were fun and affordable. The drinks were well made and cheap. The food is bar food (nothing more or less) good for hanging with friends or the family.

Rachel G.

Yelp
My family and I went to the edge to go bowling and was put in a lane that the chairs were taken up. The bowling is paid for by the hour. And more pricey then most places. An employee came and yelled at us to move since she had a party. We spent a good chunk of our time moving along with the other people. For a party that never showed up. Then the game Shut off and we had to wait to have then put it back on. Half of our time was wasted and when I let the manger Rachel know she did nothing about it. We won't be bowling at the edge again. !! Don't waste your time or money with the bowling here.

Kayla L.

Yelp
So it's been about 5 years since I was last here and man did they do some awesome updates!! Go Kart track was awesome add! They also have a lot more games and their laser tag arena is the same amazing place as I remembered! I love the wrist band option to play as many rounds of laser tag as You can all day! My little sister and nephew rotated between 2 rounds of lazer tag and 2 rounds of go karts every time. They also have expanded the arcade section. Seemed like they could get better prizes or something for the arcade. All that stuff seemed out dated. But overall had a blast! And plan on bringing my husband here for date night

Robert E.

Yelp
This place is awesome they have done a beautiful job at getting their outdoor patio Covid ready lots of seating lots of heaters and big TVs

Mark P.

Yelp
The EDGE is a great place to hangout. There are multiple options for every age, whether it's adults who want to check out a movie in the Bistro lounge or hang in the bar & have a drink or three, to kids playing laser tag or dropping coins in the huge selection of video games. It's so much fun that any "kid at heart" will have a blast. I was recently here for my nieces 9'th birthday party to play laser tag, drink beer & catch a movie. I had a blast. The Edge claims to be the largest laser tag arena in the U.S. & while it's difficult to test that, the area was massive. Gargantuan. I was constantly amazed at how the maze seemed to unfurl around every corner. And it's two story. The bistro theatre is a cool concept with reclining chairs while enjoying food & beer service. Great beer selection. Food is unique and very good especially for the money. A lot of large new HD TV's to watch a variety of sporting events. Best Cinema experience in St. Clair county. Overall a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Most of the video games look dated. The interior of the facility could use a freshening up. The place is pretty noisy & crowded during weekend afternoons.

Hannah J.

Yelp
Went to the movies yesterday and they seem to take forever when hitting the light. I know they are busy but I figured they would have had servers just for the movie section. 15 minutes passed so I decided to go out and order myself while missing the beginning of the movie... Ordered the Alamo wrap and it literally was missing ingredients. No corn and no beans.. this is not the first time they have not given me all the ingredients on the food. Sorry but that's not ok. Trying to eat my leftovers at work and it tastes so bad I had to throw it out. The chicken was disgusting

Dan A.

Yelp
Brutal. Continues to get worse. Now the prices for food have increased beyond reason. Food quality is also poor for the price. Non-attentive staff (bartenders and hostess)...our waiter got the lone star.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Completely disappointed with the service. No tables seated and was told it was an hour wait to have people walk in and be immediately seated. When questioned we're just told they're short staffed. Seemed like a lack of management and everything else. Have been there before with no issues but completely brushed off this go around. Not happy at all.

Jessie C.

Yelp
Super fun place! Good food at Vesper's, great theaters, nice staff, fun arcade, and best laser tag I've ever played.

Toni B.

Yelp
So we were invited by friends to check this place out. All I can say is make the drive to StL or Edwardsville because this place is definitely not worth it. Our server was by far the worst one I've ever had, and that includes Wyoming...where they are known for bad service. She repeatedly got drunk orders wrong, constantly forgot drinks. Between 7 people we order 2 orders of wings, 1 pizza, and 3 if the tall things to drink...this doesn't include what the kids ordered. I bet it took over an hour to get our food and drinks (this doesn't include all the corrections we had to give our server). I was assured by my friends that the service has never been this horrible and we should try it again. I'm torn on if we should ever visit again to be truthful. When I pay over $100 for food and over $100 for games, I mean I expect service to be at least average. The only 5 star I'll give this place, at least they clean the games.

Texas C.

Yelp
Bathrooms always smell so good and Anne Branum pours me the coldest shot of Rumple Minze I've ever had

Rachael E.

Yelp
The customer service is AWFUL. As we were swiping our card for the VR challenges, an employee shouted across the way informing us that we had just lost four dollars as it was broken. We questioned why there wasn't a sign or attendant to address that and his response was oh I haven't had time. At the front desk, management continued to downplay the situation and blow us off. Yes it's four dollars but this is a place for children so patience and kindness seems the order of the day, not being a jerk. You chose to work here, no one's forcing you to deal with people.

Ella H.

Yelp
My update on this review hasn't changed much, I still try to go often because the wings are still delicious. Since the last time I reviewed though the burgers have improved. I recommend trying the 5 alarm burger it's neat, however in my honest opinion the service is still bad.

Justin S.

Yelp
The movie cut out 5 times and they refused giving us full refunds. Ruined the movie theatre experience and atrocious customer service. I would highly recommend going to any other theatre.

Cindy V.

Yelp
Always love going to the Edge! Great food, fun activities and the theaters are wonderful! My kids and grandsons are always happy to go!

Ali P.

Yelp
How much can you do in 1 day in 1 spot? The Edge challenges you with that, and doesn't disappoint. Very family friendly with something for everyone of all ages. I must say, I was quite surprise this place isn't a national hit. But it's a gem that locals get to enjoy. So if ever in STL metro, I'd suggest at least 1 trip over to it, if that's all you can muster. Im sure it won't be the last if you reside in the area.

Dawn C.

Yelp
The Edge d.s. vespers restaurant needs to work on basics. Food was very delayed, arrived for two people at time, 10 minutes apart for party of 6, with street tacos refrigerator cold, and queso not much earlier, or warmer, than meals. Fries were hot. Had filthy stuck-on-food fork. Two celiac disease patrons, had to send Caesar salad back twice. First, came with croutons, second came back with croutons just picked off. Third salad, 20 minutes later, no croutons, maybe made without croutons? Probably pre-made salad, as child was sick later. Fun entertainment venue, but we will eat somewhere else first, then go to play laser tag. On plus side, food prices not bad. Laser tag marshal went against 30 patrons wishes, played "infection," instead of "team," wasted $9 per person for game that didn't work.

Adam B.

Yelp
Literally the worst service ever. Do not go here for food or drinks. You will wait two hours for a pitcher of beer. It took the bartenders so long to get the beer, I decided to take a pic. The theatre is nice and doesnt require attention so it will serve its purpose. You can buy your tickets online, less hassle.

Alan G.

Yelp
The Edge is the best place in Belleville for drinks, sports, movies, and hanging out. The new patio is great. The TVs are huge. They're doing a great job keeping up with COVID requirements. Come in, see Sam on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and get well taken care of. Support local business.

Eric W.

Yelp
Great as always! Theaters are always clean and the kids have a great time. Bar area is top notch to watch sports and the specials are second to none

Herbert R.

Yelp
The outdoor dining was good. the service was great. As it got colder the temperature got cooler. The food was great along with the service.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Like so many places that are aimed at mixed aged clients, this place is heaven for the kids and not so much for the adults. Or maybe for the moms. I was here for a 10th birthday party and the kids had so much fun. The party seemed to go well in regards to timing (laser tag-pizza-laser tag-cupcakes-arcade). The pizza wasn't bad, it was flat with sweet sauce. I wouldn't expect anything from the service, it looked understaffed or staffed with people who were dreaming of other things. When I went to the concession stand to get a beer ($3.50 thank heavens!) the guy behind the counter continued filing paperwork into this binder and filling out forms before he helped me. So as far as arcade and laser tag go, it's a blast, just don't expect much else. Oh, and if you have much smaller kids, keep a close eye on them, there are parts of the concrete floor crumbling which pose trip hazards and yummy bits to try and eat.

J-Bird G.

Yelp
This place is a blast! I recommend seeing a movie at the Bistro theater there. it has full-reclining leather seats and wait service! The bar is fun, I recommend frozen margaritas and their WINGS! and, of course, playing in the arcade. but don't go for dinner! The rest of their menu is so-so. The servers were inexperienced, and the managers were just rude and didn't seem to know what they were doing. 2 tables left when we were there, we would have if we weren't starving.

Kelly O.

Yelp
Horrible food! Bad service Place looks worn and dirty. The wait staff is ruining this place. Drinks are weak and watered down. Too bad this place doesn't hire or train different managers

Kyle B.

Yelp
Beware of the bowling! Went to a family function tonight and we had two lanes for an hour. No matter what time you actually start bowling, they charge starting at the beginning of the time you booked and then turn off your game when the hour is up. Also, for some reason you can't order food from the restaurant from the bowling area?!

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Went for a date night with my boyfriend and we had a great time driving go carts and trying out the new VR games! Afterward we wanted to get some desert since we had already had dinner beforehand and wanted something sweet to finish off the night. We waited to be sat and no one came. We had to find someone and ask them to be sat then she said our waitress would be right with us. Then a few feet from our table she told our waitress Sidney that she had a table and we just wanted deserts. Then Sidney let out a huge sigh rolled her eyes until she saw that we were a few feet from her. She then walked to the table asked how we were and didn't respond when I asked how she was. She then didn't ask us if we were ready, if we wanted drinks, just stared at us. My boyfriend ordered ice cream, I ordered a fried cheesecake. She brought out the ice cream first along with one for herself. Ate all of hers, my boyfriend finished his then she went to check on mine in the kitchen and came back 5 mins later. So I was a little irritated that I was able to eat with him. After I finished mine we waited 20 mins for her to come back and take our plates and not even offer a check. I am a server as well and I know I don't get excited about small spenders either but Jesus! I was prepared to give her 50% of the bill until we finished the experience. If you wanted better service go to the McDonald's down the street. Other than that it was a fun night of gaming and racing just wish I could just review the restaurant

Christopher H.

Yelp
Went to see triple X in the Bistro. We order food and drinks never got food are the drinks. So 45min in to the movie we asked where are order was at and they said they could not find are order. This is the 2nd time we have went there to see a movie and got horrible service.

Yelp
THE EDGE is quite an impressive thing to have so close to home. I've been coming here for over a decade and there always seems to be something new. I have met the couple running the place (The Schell's) and they are the most down-to-earth loving people. They love their community and it truly shows. I'm going to write a paragraph on each of the different things you can do inside The EDGE. I have to start with Laser Tag. So if you haven't heard, The EDGE is home to the WORLD'S LARGEST laser tag arena. They remapped the entire arena a couple years back which makes it alot more open. Before it was very close combat which made it really hard to get anyone. You'll definetly work up a sweat after 2 or 3 games. A word of advice is that on Unlimited evening passes, (Friday and Saturday 7p-12a) you will most likely get 3 games in because of the density of players. I'm a firm believer in the Sunday All Day pass. Note: I heard they are upgrading the packs (The guns and the vest). PROS: World's Largest Arena, Amazing fun CONS: Weekend player density, Long wait times in between games Next up is the EDGE 5 Theatres. Not many people know the hidden gem that are these theatres. Alot of people come here for laser tag or to eat at d.s vespers. Getting tickets is a breeze and it's at the same counter where the concessions are sold! I will usually get a Mtn. Dew Code Red (They offer Pepsi Products) and a medium popcorn. BUY THE $5 REFILLABLE CUP!!! When you do buy the refillable cup, bring it with you everytime you go and see a movie or go do laser tag and they will fill it up for $1. It beats buying a $4 large Pepsi everytime. The main theatres are decent. Just like any other theatre it offers great sound. The picture is better than the Lincoln in downtown Belleville, but not as good as the Wehrenberg or AMC's around the area. I'm 6'2" so legroom is very important. The EDGE 5 theatres compliment this by allotting me enough legroom so I can sit comfortably without having to dangle my feet on the seatback in front of me (Even though I do anyways; It is a habit). Usually there are not alot of people in the movies which is a great thing because you can choose to sit anywhere! Onto the Bistro theatres, I've only tried it once and I was impressed with the service and overall value of the ticket. The seats were comfortable and the staff was excellent. Only thing about it is that it only was comfortable chairs and staff getting you food. I'm okay getting a popcorn and soda and sitting in a less comfortable but still comfortable seat for less money. Good experience though, don't let me tell you how to live your life. PROS: Tickets/Concessions in same transaction, Great Legroom, Sound quality maximum, Bistro upgrade worth the money CONS: Picture quality mediocre FInally I'll review d.s. vespers (Vespers). Vespers is a sit down bar and grill inside the EDGE. Alot of adults will sit down and watch the game while their kids go and have a good time. Their food is really good and they have decent prices. A burger or a pizza is the way to go. I did order a burger well done one time and it was burnt to a crisp. I did not complain and it was still a juicy burger. Word of advice is the get your burger Medium or Medium Well. Seating is comfortable (Then again, I've only ever experienced the booths) and the servers are friendly. Very loud within given the tall celings, but we have to take into consideration that The EDGE is a very social place. Overall, a good place to eat. PROS: Good Food and Drink, Friendly Service, Comfortable Seating CONS: Loud The EDGE has something for every generation to enjoy. If you're new here or you are in town for a few days, this place is a must-go! They are currently making major additions to the place. This includes go-karts, bowling, bumper cars and more! I can't wait to experience all of these things and will keep coming and coming as long as they're open! Cheers!

Yelp
this rating is based on the bistro theatre experience. meh. it wasn't terrible, the seating was great, they did a nice job of making the room comfortable. the servers weren't great. they made an error on my order but the movie had begun so i couldn't really say anything about it. so that aspect was a bit frustrating. but what really did it in for me was the fact that the projection was pretty underwhelming. the screen was dark and fuzzy. the audio was good but didn't make up for the picture. all in all, it was fun experiencing the bistro but probably won't return.

Yelp
We have had birthday parties for our son (laser tag) and our daughter (movie) at the EDGE and they always had a great time with friends. The food is great. The movie theaters are clean and comfortable. The bistro is the best. Reasonable prices make it affordable family fun. It can get a little crowded but that would be the only downside.

Yelp
The new remodel looks fantastic! However, the problem of standing at the door forever to get someone to take your name to get a table is still a problem. They are doing a booming business so expect to wait. We finally gave up and left after 30 mind or so.

Yelp
Just visited the establishment and had the WORSE SERVER ever. Christa, was very argumentative and abrasive. Nothing that a server should be. I was served a STICKY glass w/my drink. My drink wasn't even fruity. She made every excuse in the world to me why it could have possibly been sticky. We ordered a pizza that half (1/2) the ingredients on it. Now this was after we waited a total of 45 minutes when the establishment was close to being empty. I TOLD HER I WANTED TO CANCEL MY ORDER DUE TO ALL THE DISCREPANCIES AND SHE DEMANDED AN ANSWER. I then told her ring my drinks and I was done. She went on to tell me I had to wait for the manager due to my entire order not being screwed up. Did I mention I initially had to walk to the bar to be seated when there was a sign at the door that stated to "Wait to be Seated".

Yelp
Fantastic time at the Edge! The edge offers fun and games for people of all ages. We had a boys birthday party there and it was a blast. The staff are well trained in dealing with screaming children who are loosing their minds with excitement and clearly have come to terms with it and yet somehow seem to enjoy it day in and day out. The edge offers plenty of party space for small or large groups and the prices were reasonable for what you get. The kids and adults had a blast (pun intended) playing laser tag and staff here were also exceptional in dealing with slightly organized chaos. There is plenty to do to keep everyone engaged and on schedule. Highly recommend for parties of all ages. A good time for all!
