By the description on Google before we went in, it sounded more pub-like. I would call it more of a lounge. I enjoyed the atmosphere, though we were seated at the back and it was very dim, even before the sun set. The menu is very small and gourmet, which is great if that's what you are expecting!
The food was excellent. I had the special of the day which was T-bone lamb with polenta and it was fantastic. The servers seemed a bit removed, they weren't particularly friendly and didn't offer help, we kept having to ask (i.e. what the specials were, refills on water, etc.). In the end, the food was worth the price. I would recommend with some good company!
