Great service, beautiful hotel, and the restaurant beside it is delicious! The stay here is very quiet and low key. They provided me with a welcome bag that had sweets, water, hydration packets, etc which was great! I love the fact that it’s not on the Vegas strip near all the busy foot traffic. It doesn’t have a loud casino or cigarette smoke infusing the entire place. The location in the art district is alright, the homeless population doesn’t seem to be as heavy as other areas in Vegas. Overall, I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Las Vegas!

We are currently staying here for our wedding. We have experienced terrible service since we’ve been here and every time we go to the front desk to address issues, there is no resolution. The staff seem like they have no desire to be at work or provide hospitable service to anyone. We have had a homeless person attempt to enter our first floor room patio. We sat out at the pool for hours and never received service. For a property that promises a boutique luxury experience it’s laughable. As locals who work in the industry we expected more and are extremely disappointed. We won’t be recommending this venue to any of our friends or family or clients, especially for the price. Do better.

A gem of a hotel! All new. Well designed. Clean. Simple but has what you need. The people are very nice. The bar, bartenders and cocktails were great. Breakfast was very good. Area was quiet - you can walk around at sometimes. Others, maybe not so nice. Still developing area. There is a bus stop right outside. Didn’t use it but could be alternative to expensive Vegas Ubers. Also city bikes around. Walking around Sunday morning was a great vibe. Was very happy with this stay for anywhere, and especially for off the strip in Vegas. Easy in and out for a show with no casinos. Only thing I wish would change is coffee in the room.

We WILL be staying at this hotel again. It is tucked away in a quiet arts district between the strip and Fremont (easy walking distance to Fremont). Much quieter than those hectic locations. Our room was modern and fun. The service and staff were great. But the restaurant? Oh, the restaurant was superb. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a Marriott restaurant. The signature French toast dish was amazing. I am still dreaming of their food! The hotel is owned by a famous chef, and the restaurant did not disappoint.

The English Hotel is located in the highly desirable Arts District if you want to be away from the busy Las Vegas Strip but have a luxurious hotel stay with more privacy. We did not stay here but we had reservations at their very popular, upscale 4 time James Beard cuisine winner The Pepper Club. ||||A very elegant hotel with a lavish pool in the back among lush trees. They have modern rooms and are a short walk away from the Freemont Experience. There is free parking for guests.

I was here for business with Clark County because they offered a state government rate. When I requested cancellation flexibility for a third night, they didn’t respond right away, and the general manager insulted me in front of the front desk staff and assistant manager for asking. So while this hotel has conscientious support staff and comfortable beds, don’t ask management for any favors! ||I could hear the room next-door to me up all night playing loud video games, so you might need those earplugs. ||There is nice outdoor space. Swimming pool is small and shallow. ||The Todd English name brand over everything feels a little excessive.||I am a Silver Elite member and I stay at Marriott hotels monthly. The room was comfortable, but the treatment of management stained my experience.||Tip: Check out Chin Chin across the street, excellent sushi, friendly servers and great happy hour. I heard the Pepper Club's new menu is delicious too. Limited parking, walk to Bungalow coffee and Arts District restaurants and bars

The hotel bedrooms are very nicely decorated, the bed very comfortable , very nice bathroom and the place is very clean and well maintained. The front desk employees and the housekeepers are very welcoming and very pleasant. The outdoor pool is very well maintained and clean . We went for breakfast à couple of days and the food quality and presentation was excellent. The food was very well seasoned and we savored every bites .|The first day for breakfast at the restaurant our Hispanic waiter was miserable, rude and couldn’t care less . He never interacted with us , took our order and slap the plates in front of us . No butter was served, no coffee refills . After slapping the plates in front of us we never saw him again.|He ruined our day . What a miserable person. He needs to change job . I still left him a very good tip . What a shame because the restaurant is beautiful and the food quality and presentation is excellent. |The second day at breakfast it was the complete opposite our waiter from Vietnam was a gentleman. He was very professional and he made our day . |He did an excellent job waiting on us and he is an asset to your restaurant. I hope you reward him because he is one of the best waiter I have ever met in all my years of traveling. I am sorry I do not remember his name but tell him thank you again. He is a gentleman.

The rooms are kind of small, but very clean. The location is what you make of it. The art's district can be a sketchy place at night, but a fun place during the day..the pool is a lot of fun; cabanas are great, restrooms right out of the pool, excellent pool towels. The staff is super friendly and willing to help with anything. There's not a great view, and I wouldn't call it upscale, however it's a nice place to stay.

Yelp
The brunch used to be good but now its just generic american brunch that is overpriced and not really good. The owners have been rude to other businesses in the arts district claiming they "bought the whole area" and there was nothing there before them.

Yelp
The hotel is very artistic in decor, love the lobby and pool area which was sparkling clean and had plush towels. Our room was very comfortable, nice bed and pillows. Ask for a feather pillow if you want that and they will be happy to oblige. The location is fun for walking to independent art studios, restaurants and coffee shops and there is dedicated parking off street. It was very quiet at night, no earplugs needed and nice to not be on the noisy Strip.

Yelp
I love this hotel, it's a perfect location if you're wanting a quiet boutique style atmosphere but close to the strip. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, I felt safe and the hotel is beautiful. I ate a few times at the restaurant and the staff was amazing and food was good! The only thing I wish they would improve would be the sheets on the bed, they felt like cardboard. Other than that I would stay again, maybe I'll bring my own sheets if they don't upgrade!

Yelp
Spotted: a newish, boutique hotel located in the Arts District. Miss M is pleased. Xoxo, Gossip Queen Listen, I've had my fair share of trips to Las Vegas for business and pleasure ... how come no one ever told me about the Arts District?! I was lucky enough to find this hotel through the Marriott Bonvoy app and let me tell you ... this place hits. A boutique hotel with the BEST customer service. I've stayed at this hotel twice and not only are the people who work there pleasant, but the property itself is stunning. I haven't fully explored the surrounding area as my trips have been short and it's cold for this California girl but I definitely plan on checking the Arts District more.

Yelp
Such an aesthetically pleasing property. I enjoyed the stay even as a local! Very friendly staff, both at the Hotel and Pepper Club (restaurant). Overall, brings a unique chic experience to the Vegas community, will be my go-to again!

Yelp
The reviews of this hotel are wild and I'm glad that I read them after we stayed and not beforehand. My experience at this hotel was probably more of a 4 star one but because of the crazy 1 star reviews I decided to bump my rating up a bit. First, the check-in process was amazing. Best I've had, honestly, ever. The two people working were friendly and accommodating. We got the high floor we wanted but we were not upgraded, which is ok because I'd rather have the late check out honored (Gold Marriott status.) And it was a true late check out, our key still worked after normal check out time. They gave us food and drink vouchers and goodie bags upon arrival. They made the best suggestions and really made us feel welcome. Even when we passed the front desk, with other people we had not met working, we were greeted with smiles. I loved how your name was on the board walking in as someone with status. The room wasn't small to me and I travel quite a bit. These complaints of how tiny the room is are really wild to me. No, there wasn't a couch or a big desk but we had a lot of space to place our stuff down and as locals, on a staycation, who didn't pack tightly the way we do when travelling outside of our city/state, we had a lot of stuff laying around (Christmas potlucks, gifts, etc. since we were still going to work the first day of our stay.) The bathroom, I will admit didn't have a lot of counter space and I realize that people don't want to "work" when they are on vacation but I just moved the tissue box, the makeup remover and the little tray with soap to the small table next to the toilet and towels. Now, there was a large space for our toiletries. I mean, it wasn't hard at all to do this. Stuff could have been moved down by the extra tp too. I will admit, the glass wall is weird. It's mirrored on the bathroom side. This should have been the other way around. The people in the bathroom should be able to see the room and the people in the room should just be able to see a mirror. This didn't bother us though. We're "that" couple that does everything together, if you know what I mean. The hotel itself was very clean and the housekeepers are very active and present. I will admit this was a bit annoying on the day we checked out because we too were presented with a laundry bag to trip over as we exited the room. We do not ever have housekeeping do up the rooms while we stay at a hotel but they seemed to be doing a heck of a job keeping the rooms clean. Security was present and that made me feel better because the hotel is in a less lively area, with closed businesses and construction around. The three things that would have made this review a 4 are the most important things to me. First, the AC/heater unit I hated. It turns itself on, even after you physically turn it off, and I had to get up in the middle of the night, 2 nights in a row, to turn it off so I didn't sweat my life away. If I realized it did this, I would have kept the remote next to me. Second, the WiFi is non existent. We called the first night because it was a router/modem problem but they didn't understand and asked if we wanted engineering to come up. Um no, restart your router. The second day we could connect but the website would never let us press "done" to fully, actually connect. So we gave up. Third, and most importantly, the street noise was intense. If we stay here again, I will spend more to have a pool view because maybe there will be less noise. The full window is amazing and beautiful but you could hear every noise and there seems to be a lot of street sweeping going on downtown. Also, the noise between rooms was intense. I shouldn't be able to actually hear the people nexts to us' conversation. Thank god they weren't doing other things in there. We did eat in the hotel restaurant but that's a different review.

Yelp
A quaint boutique style hotel in the Las Vegas Art's District. The English Hotel is anchored by the Pepper Club. Excellent fresh food prepared by award winning Chef Todd English offering room service, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast daily. The restaurant also offers a great bar area with creative cocktails. Our room was perfectly comfortable with a modern clean aesthetic. Super friendly staff in this 21+ hotel offering only 74 rooms with a great vibe and easy parking. You'll notice cool artwork/murals around every corner. The perfect staycation spot! ** Dog friendly.

Yelp
The restaurant was very overrated. Every single person got their food delivered. About 15 minutes apart definitely wouldn't go back.

Yelp
Hotel staff was awesome. Great hotel. Clean. Great suite. Super nice spot off the strip. Restaurant below is awesome. I think I may not even stay on the strip anymore after staying off of it in the arts district for the first time. Gem!

Yelp
This small boutique hotel is off the beaten track in the arts district. The fact that it's off the strip but not far from the strip cannot be overemphasized; you get an exciting mix of creatives to businesspeople who aren't in the Vegas party scene but like socializing. The connection to the Pepper Club helps with that general vibe. In short, the hotel has its own ambiance, which makes it more than merely a utilitarian place to stay. That's rare because as a former road warrior, you have to make friends everywhere you go and this is a friendly place. Also, I got to chat with the members of two bands that I listen to who were staying here for a gig in town, and that's pretty cool. The rooms themselves are medium-sized and somewhat spartan, but big enough to have everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The furnishings are well-appointed. I hear you can get the shaker in the room filled with a bartender's whimsy cocktail, but I'm not a sit-in-your-room kind of drinker. The service staff are top notch, they keep everything clean and well stocked and are there when you need them but otherwise unobtrusive. Also, very patient as a late-night accident with a taco did not result in me getting upcharged for ruining a nice set of bedsheets with a grease stain. Room service is available from the attached restaurant at the same prices as the sit-down meal, which is nice. The food is good from the restaurant, which puts it head and shoulders above 80% of hotel restaraunts.

Yelp
Great little hotel. Quite pricey but delivers on all fronts. Rooms are small but really cool. Quirky lights and furnishings abound and the much discussed bathroom. Cons- Not a lot of flat surface to put stuff on, phones, iPads, etc. Little counter space in bathroom, had to keep swapping with wife while we got ready. Parking is a little suspect, ungated lot on the side of the hotel. AC unit blows straight on the bed. I didn't mind it too much but my wife slept like she was on the ice planet Hoth. Pros- bed very comfortable, they give you an extra throw blanket that looks like an animal pelt. Shower is cool, we didn't mind the see through walls. It would definitely be an issue if you were sharing a room with someone you're not "familiar " with, so to speak. Lobby is beautiful and always has coffee and water available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. One weird thing, we asked for extra pillows when we arrived at 4 pm. Never came so we went to our event and got back about 1130, still no pillows. Called front desk and asked and they brought them up quickly. About 1:15 AM we were awakened to someone knocking on the door. Nervously asked who it was, assuming someone drunk at the wrong door, but it was the front desk with pillows??? We told them we already got them. Found it odd they'd come at that time. No big issue just a little odd. Loved it there and would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
I didn't think I could tolerate visiting LV until I stayed at the English Hotel. It's brand new, in the Arts District, adult only, and doesn't have any memories of being smoked in years ago. Basically, I don't think I could stay in another hotel anymore in Vegas. Aside from the top, other pros: friendly staff, interesting design, and a moderately sized pool in the back. There is, of course, also a restaurant on site but not my thing without being very vegan accommodating. Some cons, I've noticed: during my second state, there were already some noticeable flaws in the rooms, which is surprising for such a new hotel. For example, one bit of the tiling at the base of the shower had separated. Also, depending how close Arts District festivities are going on at night, it can be a little loud. That being said, these two things are far less detractors then staying anywhere near the terrible strip. Pricing seems reasonable, provided you are booking far enough in advance. It is a small hotel, so book asap!

Yelp
Everything we great! The rooms are very swanky, nice linens, bed was comfortable. Staff was fantastic! Make sure to have an Apple! The Pepper restaurant is great too! Probably the best almond milk chai latte I've had.

Yelp
Behold! The Arts District's first boutique hotel. It opened a little over 2 weeks ago so it is brand spanking new! CHECK IN: Well they are part of Marriott Bonvoy and they have a digital key option, but you still have to visit the Front Desk even though theres online check in. LOBBY: Lobby is beautifully decorated.... and it has tea and flavored water for your enjoyment. High class feel as you walk in. ROOM: The place has 74 rooms... The room was pretty darn sleek. The whole building was pretty New York stylesque (Hence the restaurant being called the Pepper Club- restaurants in New York are often called clubs) The room had a cocktail cart, a really comfortable bed, a fridge and a fishbowl bathroom....what do i mean? The bathroom is completely enclosed in glass so your every move in the restroom can be seen from the room...odd right? The towels have the hotel name embroidered into them, and the bath amenities are quality. There is a Swanky soft blanket on the one chair that's in the room. POOL: The pool is a large narrow lap style pool, heated to 85 degrees. Tranquil pool area surrounding it. PARKING: Very challenging! They have valet for 25 bucks in a small lot or you're going to have to find street parking on 1st Street or Hoover. On one side of the street you'll have to move your car every 2 hours before 6p. This hotel is rather expensive, but the developer who built it didn't have any investors and they actually sold assets to go through with building this hotel. I think it's a really cool quiet place. Very good addition to that area

Yelp
Pretty, cute hotel in the arts district! Great location, foodie heaven because there are so many restaurants & a few coffee shops in the area that you can walk to. Love the decor in the hotel and rooms. Not sure if all the rooms are like this, but Maybe not the best hotel if you are traveling with a friend- the bathroom has see thru glass for its walls, so if you don't want to see each other naked when the other person showers or watch each other sit on the toilet, then this isn't your hotel to stay at!

Serena R.

Yelp
The hotel supposedly owner and management are very unprofessional and act entitled to the art district and Main Street. They stated numerous times they own the whole block when clearly they do not. Racist comments and acting irrational were just a couple om my list of many with this experience we had with this hotel. Will never stay at this hotel and be warned you will be treated like peasants if not a certain color of skin when coming here.

Yelp
Ambience: 4 stars Value: 3.5 stars Service: 5 stars Comfort: 3.5 stars My husband and I have Marriott status, so we like to stick with Marriott hotels when we can. We usually stay at the Cosmo, but decided to switch things up. Value depends on when you book, like most things in Vegas! This is a new(ish) hotel in the Arts district, close to the Fremont/downtown area. It has a Todd English restaurant, a cute pool area, and a small (but free) parking lot. It's a boutique hotel, so it has few rooms and no casino. If you're looking for a break from the strip and the constant noise/crowd, it's a great option. It's also adults (21 and up) only. We started out in a standard king room, and then were upgraded for our second night to a suite. The standard room was nicely appointed (the bar cart is a nice touch) but small. We had a hard time getting the sound machines to work, and the bathroom/shower choice is unique but workable - in some ways for the designers definitely prioritized style over function. It would have made far more sense for the shower only to be see through - I don't know anyone who wants to use the restroom in front of their partner or friends. In our suite, we had an interesting infinity light box in the hallway that could not be turned off - very strange. We loved the living space with very comfy chairs around the TV. Made the room feel much larger, even though it was still fairly small for a suite. The biggest issue in the suite was that our curtains had a 12 inch+ gap when closed - meaning that it was impossible to block out light completely in the room. That seemed like the most serious design flaw, more than the strange bathroom design. When in Vegas, you want to be able to stay up late and get up late - and curtains that don't block the light are a big problem. We enjoyed the hotel despite those issues, and would return in the future when we want to stay off strip. The staff were extremely friendly, and due to the small size of the hotel, it was very easy to get help from staff and enter/exit the hotel. Ride share was also easy and cheap to the strip. It's nice to have a decent restaurant on property as well, which I'll review separately. Drinks are great there!

Yelp
I really wanted to find a reason to not give this place 5 stars. I only stayed here because I got Marriott points and it was close to the courthouse. I find the idea of a chef branding a hotel ridiculous - although I don't knock him for getting paid. With that in mind, I ended up really liking the hotel and will definitely return. The lobby is small, but functional. I think the days of a full floor lobby are gone anyway. The rooms are on the smaller side, but for a single or a couple it is fine. I like that there is not a lot of unnecessary stuff in the room. Bed. Bar cart. TV. Dresser. Rolling hanger. Done. Fine with me. The see-through shower thing is a little kitschy, but I can't say I didn't think to myself that I wish my wife was there with me. Don't go here with a new acquaintance. This feature would make things awkward. I didn't try the restaurant but will next time. I frequented Olives when it was open in Bellagio and never had a bad meal there. I would only assume this is just as good.

Yelp
Absolutely my new go to hotel in LV. So many positive things to say about this hotel with a few caveats. When I asked for a quiet room I should have been more specific and asked for an even numbered room. Odd numbered rooms face the pool area (and the Pepper Club which tends to play music until the wee hours of the morning). Even though I requested my amenities (lotion, pillows) through the Marriott app, they were not at the room and I had to ask the front desk for them again. Not the biggest deal in the world, but not seamless. Love the complimentary coffee, hot water for tea, and fruit infused water available in the lobby, as well as bags of ice on each floor and lobby in small cabinets near elevator. Unfortunately not always stocked (all/any). Wish there was coffee machine in the room (the Edition hotels at same price point have Nespresso en suite). Tiny mini fridge is nice but again, some more luxurious amenities would fit the image/price point better. Pool area is nice but the pool service is nonexistent. They basically put out towels on each lounge in the morning and that's it. There is no server coming around to check on anything nor offering drink services etc. The decor of the hotel is slim luxury. Higher end but also with an eye to heavy wear. Some really great touches like velvet pillow on the bed matches the side chair, but then the vinyl fake plank flooring feels cheap. The bathroom lighting is certainly not makeup application friendly, and a tiny magnifying mirror is useless (4 inches max!). No shower door means some water perils on the floor. The usual amenities of body wash/shampoo/conditioner are in odious pump dispensers. Lotion is mini. No other amenities without asking the front desk. Again, not very high end feeling. There is an offer at front desk for a free Pilates class but I didn't look into that. Pool and relax was my main vacation goal. The housekeeper ignored my note for more lotion. Also pounded on my door multiple times my last day even though requested a late checkout. Finally just yelled through the door what time I was leaving. Multiple laundry bags down the hall when I did stick my head out, so perhaps a busy day. Dined at the Pepper club twice and will say more about that in another review. The stellar front desk staff made my stay delightful, and the fun, funky neighborhood was so "not" Vegas. That and no nasty loud casino (and no smoking on premises) was a plus! TL/dr: Offbeat, good quality modern hotel.

Yelp
We stayed here in July for two or three nights. The accommodations are quite lovely for the price. It's off of the strip and therefore away from the traffic. I enjoyed the location, the staff and the accommodations. I would stay here again!

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights while briefly passing through Las Vegas. We have stayed on the strip many times but wanted a different and calmer vibe as we were traveling with our dog this time around. I'll start with the hotel itself; it is very artsy but in an elegant, well thought out, way. There are cozy seating areas in the lobby and coffee, spa water and tea are served 24/7. Our particular room was on the first floor and had a very expansive patio with large comfy chairs that looked out onto the pool. We really enjoyed having this outdoor space. I hear that some people complain about the bathroom walls being glass, but to me, this isn't a place you stay if you aren't okay with being a little up close and personal with your roommates. They do provide a card in the room about how to achieve the most privacy while sitting on the potty if that is important to you. The best part of this hotel was the staff and service. We were welcomed by a lovely front desk staff member named Khloe. She frequently made sure our stay was everything that we expected and fulfilled any needs that we had. All of the other staff members were also amazing, I just can't remember everyone's name. They gave us a complimentary welcome drink from the restaurant bar that is attached and run by chef Todd English. The restaurant staff was also incredible. They even made sure our dog was not left hungry while we enjoyed our food. We had breakfast with them one morning during our stay and we throughly enjoyed it, however did think the portions left much to be desired for the prices that they charge. This hotel is within walking distance of the Las Vegas Art's District and lots of lovely restaurants and breweries. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we found ourselves visiting Vegas again.

Yelp
It was a decent hotel. I had to be in town for a meeting and didn't want to be on the strip. This was a good option. Rooms were a little small, but clean and modern. Felt a bit like a NY hotel. The on site restaurant was great. The staff and service was very high quality. There's no on site fitness center which was a bummer. But all in all a solid, by no frills, experience.id stay here again in a similar situation.

Yelp
We're Vegas locals but decided to spend a night here recently to use some Marriott points, and enjoy the breweries of the arts district. The aesthetic is fun, and great location if you want to explore the arts district. I loved the details in the room from the bar cart to the cooler on the patio. The artwork around the hotel is fun as well. I enjoyed the water and coffee station in the lobby. The onsite restaurant is amazing for both brunch and dinner. Now for some things I was disappointed by. Our room service breakfast took an hour and a half, and this was after housekeeping knocked on our door before 9:30 am to see when we'd be leaving (we had a late checkout of 2pm). A bit annoying to not get to sleep until we wanted after a night out. The placement of the AC unit was awful. Cold air blowing directly down onto the bed. And it didn't help that the blanket on the bed was basically just an extra sheet. A way to access the pool from our patio would have been cool. Was surprised to find there were screaming children at the pool when we'd read it was a 21+ hotel. The shower was fun but not practical if you need to use it or the toilet while someone else is asleep in the room. Overall I'd stay here again. Nice to have something different from the standard Vegas casino hotels.

Yelp
Wonderful surprise. Away from the strip and Fremont street in the arts district. Very Euro vibe quiet, understated, great service. Loved it.

Yelp
Very cool boutique hotel by acclaimed chef Todd English in the Arts District near downtown Las Vegas. Great attention to detail, well appointed rooms with a staff that wants to make sure your stay is great. I stayed just one week after opening and was probably the first person to stay in my room (so I was told). Check out my photos, notice the darkened glass see-through shower, love it! Just don't stay here with your kids :-) Great job! Check out my review of The Pepper Club, Chef English's restaurant at the hotel.

Yelp
What a surprise! Las Vegas's hidden gem in the arts district. The rooms were amazing, a gorgeous pool and a staff that took care of everything we needed. The restaurant was a 5 star experience as it's a Todd English experience and the food was amazing. Steve Dennis the GM was amazing, and he runs a tight ship while meeting the guests needs. We sure will post positive feedback on social media and hope to return in the near future. Thanks to the staff and Mr. Dennis

Yelp
Interesting place, not like any place my wife and I have stayed before. Unique, but comfortable rooms. Close in the Arts District, so that's a big plus. Had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was outstanding. I recommend it if you're up to trying a different, boutique hotel experience in Vegas.

Yelp
Perfect location for the arts district. Pretty comfortable, but maybe a little small. Friendly bartenders.

Yelp
5:30 am phone rings a couple times and then goes to 3 weird tones and automatically hangs up. been looking for a room for hours and most I tried won't answer the phone at night or due to the reviews you wonder if you'll be accosted by even the security guard, or you just want to ask do they charge for parking or have a fridge for your sti or Do They take a picture of your ID with an android phone !!! undoubtedly to be backed up via Google images whose terms say they have rights to EVERYTHING, even though it's still yours! - as one place wanted to without warning me first - when someone may be stuck and need a room. Keeping it classy Vegas!

Yelp
Love the decor and very comfortable rooms! You don't want to leave. In mid-town, you can get to anywhere in the city fast and you avoid the crowds on the strip. Try their restaurant...brunch, dinner, all delicious options. You never need to leave! Excellent service and genuine hospitality from this boutique hotel.

Yelp
Don't come here in winter expecting anything to be functional in the pool area. The hotel lies about their facilities, the pool is unheated and the outdoor furniture cushions are wet. It is a deeply unpleasant experience.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in an area that I imagine will improve greatly in the years coming. A couple blocks over there's restaurants and shops within the Arts District. Hotel was beautifully designed and decorated, clean and had complimentary parking! This just might be our new vegas hotel.

Yelp
This a fairly new hotel in the Vegas area. The beds are VERY comfortable given that they haven't been as heavily used yet. The hotel has an artistic boutique flare to it and very modern. The parking situation is very hit/miss given that they only have about 20 spots and the rest is street parking. The property serves as a quiet oasis in the busy city. It's located in the arts district and the neighborhood is very quiet. The bathroom layout is....interesting and very flawed in the design. The sink is TINY and the shower doesn't have a curtain so the water ends up going everywhere. I'd definitely stay here again

Yelp
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The check in process went smoothly. The front desk greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. The room was decorated perfectly. The shower set up was fun and gave us a good chuckle. Only downside is if it's busy, parking can be limiting.

Yelp
I loved this hotel! The front desk staff is friendly and attentive, and recognized my status with Marriott. I had the option for 1000 points a day or free breakfast--I opted for the breakfast and that was the best decision. They allow you to use the credit toward brunch--so we got the chicken sandwich and it was one of the best ones Ive had in a long time, and the bartender Mike was great. The rooms were clean, and the lobby has flavored water that changes off daily which we always looked forward to. The location is a bit off the strip, but there's a lot of good local restaurants near by and cute breweries. The decor outside is so pretty with all the different color flowers. Id definitely stay here again

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay here. The company I work for bought it out for a private event. The room was pretty nice. Mine did not have a cool view but is not on the strip. It was in the arts district which I am not that familiar with. I wish I had explored the area more. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I had forgot the room key several times and they did not seem annoyed about getting me to my room either by someone walking me or printing a new key. The food at the Pepper club was very good. Apparently the hotel is named after Todd English (celebrity chef). It was very close to the north premium outlets which actually had decent selection. My main complaint it that I was hoping for a gym. I mean it would be nice if they had one especially since you would likely eat a lot at the restaurant there because I can't imagine you would dislike the food. Overall it was enjoyable and the location was not bad. Not too far from everything. ALSO...I had lost a credit card and AirPods case and they found it and after verifying my room number and some other information they agreed to send it by mail if I sent them a label. The label was for the drop off the next day and they are going to do it for me! So basically they are nice to even the most annoying , guests that drink too much.

Yelp
Horrible service. Unprofessional management. Extremely overpriced rooms. You could go stay at the Wynn for the same price. The only thing that was good at this dinky hotel was The Pepper Club restaurant. Heard that the Executive Chef who built this place from the ground up was recently wrongfully fired. Shows how much the management cares for its hardworking employees. Stay far away from establishments like these and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. From the lack of service, amenities, prices, and untrained hotel staff, The English Hotel won't last very long.

Yelp
We wanted to like the English, but honestly it felt more like a remodeled pervert motel than a luxury boutique hotel. The interior decor was eye pleasing but the hotel overall was poorly designed - I was rather disappointed for what we spent, especially seeing as this was a Marriott property and I have had had great experiences at their "Tribute Collection" properties elsewhere. It's a good location for the arts district but there isn't a whole lot around the hotel to command the price, especially given the experience we had. There were quite a few things off about this place: (1) The see through glass bathroom - this is just mind boggling. While I can understand the appeal of putting on a show while in the shower, I doubt most people are going to want their partner to be able to see them while they are on the toilet. It's just stupid. We thought that there would be some kind of curtain (as we saw in the photos online while booking), but there weren't - just a placard on the bathroom counter suggesting that we keep the lights off in the bathroom if we want privacy. Apparently they had some privacy screens but most of them have broken, per the front desk staff. It really wouldn't take much to install a simple curtain in front of the shower. It's just not practical. What if you want to go to the toilet in the middle of the night? You can either turn the lights on, removing your privacy and probably waking up your partner - or you can try to do it all in the dark. (2) The shower is designed to splash water everywhere - I've only seen this in a motel before, where instead of a proper door, it's just one glass panel covering up half the shower. It's a recipe for disaster - water splashing everywhere, leaving wet floors to slip on. (3) The bathroom door has such big gaps that you don't have any privacy either in terms of sounds. Gross, if you are sharing the room. I'm used to some pretty big door gaps in hotels but this by far was the worst since the door is just a swinging door (that doesn't stay open if you just want some light to fix your hair or something). (4) The outlets are weirdly placed - in our two Queen room, we both used outlets that barely could let us reach our phones while charging. Usually in a hotel, there is an outlet right by the bed or on top of the night stand - not in this case. (5) One of the beds was pushed right up against the window - I can understand small rooms, but don't make a room for two Queen beds if you're going to have one bed pushed right next to the window and call it a luxury boutique hotel. (6) The emergency fire sprinkler in the bathroom was installed without the finishing metal ring around it - it just looked unfinished and sloppy (the other two in the room had been properly finished). (7) There is no fitness room on this property. Apparently they have a partnership where you can show your key card to get into the gym of another hotel, but it's not within easy (or safe) walking distance. If this is a new property, it really wouldn't have been difficult to put in a small room with a treadmill, a bike, and some weights. Even the cheaper low end Marriott brands have had this. (8) No drinking fountain/water bottle filling station - the staff kept the lobby fruit waters filled up but it would be so much more sustainable if they just had put it in a filtered water dispenser. Again, something I would expect in a newer property. (9) Front desk staff were friendly but not really up to par with typical Marriott experience. While it can be annoying, I've come to expect the typical script, thanking me for loyalty at check in or asking how the stay was at checkout - neither happened. It's just small things like this that add up. When we were chatting about the bathrooms, not once did they say they'd take the feedback to the manager or anything like that - they just repeated the stuff about the lights, which really isn't helpful. All in all, we were pretty disappointed by this place. It's a decent location to be close to the arts district and it was clean, but I don't think we will be back given the weird design choices.

Yelp
Wasn't even staying there, and some guy claiming the manager kicked off the grass patch on the other side of their hotel. No signs, no nothing stating they owned the lot. I'm not sure why I was kicked off fake grass patch for riding an electric skateboard at 2 mph. I then ask him for I.D. but decides to threat me to beat my ass because i didnt want to leave... I told him to tell the owner to come out and speak to me or call the cops. But continue to say I dare you to go on the grass. Threats after threats. I definitely wouldn't want to stay at a place where a manager dresses up like a regular guy and swears at people to get his way. He could easily showed a business card stating he's the manager.

Yelp
We love this hotel! The staff is so fun and accommodating. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed. We will definitely stay here again our next trip to vegas! Forget the strip, arts district is our new jam. Steve the manager was so cool!

Yelp
Visited this last weekend and was happy to see the bathroom walls had been updated with a little more privacy while still looking chic.

Yelp
Never staying here again, worst decision we made. Location is great, but if you're thinking about this place being quality, it is not.

Yelp
Me, the wife and the doggo really loved our stay at the English Hotel. It really crushed all the points you look for in a Vegas hotel/staff - fine attention to detail, incredible design, and unique features you can't find anywhere else (check out the bathroom design!). The restaurant was so good too. I saw so many locals coming just for dinner, that's a great sign already. The theme seemed to be sushi/fish, but they accommodated me as a vegan with awesome on and off menu options. Again, they just have such great service and attention to detail for their customers.

Yelp
As a person who frequents Marriotts, this is my FAVORITE boutique property! For a long time it was like- if you're visiting Vegas you're either staying at the Cosmopolitan or a Fairfield Inn. There was no in-between. The English Hotel certainly provides and elevated experience without the drama and price of a strip hotel. The property is beautiful. Nice, spacious pool area, chic lobby with water, coffee, and... apples. The hallways are wide and also thoughtfully decorated with plants and gold accents. You certainly don't feel like you're staying in a renovated Holiday Inn. There are thoughtful touches throughout. My favorite is the little cut out on the shower door so you can slip your hand in to turn the shower on without standing underneath the head and spraying yourself with cold water. They have awesome blow dryers. Parking is free- which will probably change in the near future. The restaurant is a MUST VISIT. I usually vouch for the welcome points upon check-in but I came with my husband so we chose the free daily breakfast for two. This felt like a steal as the Japanese inspired restaurant was an excellent experience on its own. Keep in mind this is not a business-friendly location. The rooms have a tiny table that can barely be used as a desk. There is not a business area or conference room for you to get work done. Though it seems like there are a few cafes in the area that you can spend your day doing work on your laptop. 100% will be back!!

Yelp
I wanted to leave zero stars but that wasn't an option. I made the biggest work travel mistake I've ever made by staying at this hotel. DO NOT make the same mistake, run don't walk to another hotel. You will be incredibly disappointed. VERY small rooms with a wall AC unit so bright and so loud you will never fall asleep. Shame on Bonvoy for giving this hotel 4 stars. I would give 5 years of my life to get the last 12 hours back and choose a different hotel. This is Las Vegas where hospitality is supposed to be top tier. This is anything but.

Yelp
Overall we liked this boutique hotel. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was clean. Unfortunately, we really weren't fans of the bathroom.

Ciara J.

Yelp
Came for a stay-cation and fell in love! I hadn't even heard of this place before but will definitively be back! Loved the small details with welcome gift and the freshly picked fruit in the lobby. Also appreciate that they support other local businesses (like the orchard that supplies the fruit in the lobby, they serve a local brewery's beer at their restaurant, and there's coffee from a local shop in the lobby). Front desk staff was very welcoming, rooms were clean, and we were happy to see that the hotel room bathroom has a frosted glass wrap so you can't see straight through to the toilet. It is however still sort of mirrored inside (though that can be fun depending on who you're traveling with :) ) The only thing I was not super impressed with was the pool area. It seems like it didn't get as much love when designing as the rest of the property, but it was still clean, heated, and the restaurant staff comes out to serve drinks. Will be back!

Yelp
I stopped here for a couple cocktails a couple weeks ago! I really wish I got a picture of the attentive staff member that helped us but her name was Chloe!!! She was beautiful inside and out, really took care of me and my party and gave me great advice on where to go. I'm so grateful to have met her. She deserves employee of the YEAR!!!! Thank you Chloe, you're a rockstar & as for the English hotel, it looked and smelt great.... Please give your staff an award and/or raise. I'm impressed.
