"At The English Rose, you're in for a lavish morning meal with a side of ocean and mountain views; this inn and breakfast destination has a hilltop perspective that even a bird would envy. Start with a breakfast basket, loaded with cranberry scones, buttermilk biscuits, butter, and jam. Giant-size mains range from roast turkey hash with yam, pancetta, maple syrup, hot sauce, two eggs, and greens, to a full English breakfast: two eggs any style, bacon, house-made pork sausage, overnight tomatoes, skillet potatoes, and homemade toast. This is what mornings are made for: perspective and a plentiful repast." - Kathleen Squires

Absolutely Loved this place. The restaurant has amazing views. With a very interesting drive to get there. Delicious food, great drinks. A little pricey but I mean definitely worth it when you're looking down into rolling hills of jungle that goes straight to the sea as you eat.

I read reviews before I booked but, the reviews so this place no justice, its beyond amazing! Micheal made my stay even more wonderful. He was my go to and he responds immediately with that genuine spirit. The view was my favorite out of all, and the view at the restaurant is just as phenomenal! I’m not sure which was best, the breakfast or the view. Everyone at the restaurant was very nice. Shout out to Mike, the bartender. I traveled to Rincon from Alabama alone and they honestly made me feel at home. Home away from home!

A must see place! Cute restaurant! Beautiful views! Yummy coffee with milk and delicious French toast! Had to drive up a narrow hilly road, but was worth it!

The English Rose was such a quaint spot, and it was just what my friend and I needed for our getaway to Rincon. The staff was prompt, friendly, and accommodating, the views and rooms were awesome, and THE FOOD! The food! Even if you're not staying a few nights here, it's definitely worth a trip up the hill for brunch.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. Rooms are super well designed and decor is tasteful. Pool is amazing. Food is good. Staff is overall quite cold and not super friendly but we didn’t have to interact much with them so it wasn’t that much of a problem but I wouldn’t say they are warm and welcoming. Only downside I’d say is that the rooms are located right under the restaurant so you hear a lot of furniture moving and noises as they prep for breakfast in the morning starting around 7am. So light sleepers be aware of that, even with earplugs on…

Went there for breakfast and despite the road being in poor condition the ride was worth it. I called in advance, they have a few seats outside for people with a pet. We ordered an omelette and pancakes with fruits but they have eggs bebedict and other dishes I'm dying to try.

After a somewhat nerve racking ride up, we were delighted by the view, food, and service—totally worth it! I ordered the Green eggs Benedict, and my daughter ordered the Benny Hill. We also shared a side of caramelized bananas— a must try. Our waiter was very friendly and the whole place had a great vibe. Don’t miss the mint passion fruit tea!

Loved everything about my stay here. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, a balcony with table and chairs with an incredible view, pool side service. Management and staff very attentive to every need / want. Restaurant is by far the best in Rincon (maybe all of PR) for breakfast (get the turkey hash, it's insanely delicious). Highly recommend.
