La Neta Y Cocina and Paparazzi Chophouse at the Epic in Dallas Make Major Changes - Eater Dallas

"Restaurants at the development in Deep Ellum undergo major changes. By the time their two chorizo tacos arrived, they’d lost their appetite. I watched the bartender walk the dish to those same two men at the end of the bar, who she seemed to know, and drop it off to them. When the two taco plates ordered by the women on my other side arrived, they pointed out an error in the order and also received a reply brushing off their complaint. Both sets of women told me they would probably not return. I left $50 poorer, after the tip and valet (this time the cost was down to $10), and with a headache. I’m still trying to figure out who these restaurants are for." - Courtney E. Smith

Assessing the State of Fine Dining in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"I see the Epic as a massive, mixed-use building that opened in 2019 and acts as a lynchpin for attracting several fine-dining chains to its Deep Ellum location, serving as an anchor for the neighborhood’s newer, higher-end restaurant entries." - Courtney E. Smith

Nice little area, cool artwork and several places to eat or drink at.

Viewing apartments by walking around to buildings that have vacancies, did not in any way communicate my ID would be needed when I called (and was the only complex to require this?) And staff was rude to me when I said I didn't have my ID(acted annoyed at me, didn't even at least offer me water even though I was drenched from being outside, etc.) 0/10 not worth it for the price point with that kind of customer service (especially when it's triple-digit temperatures, hope you go out of business)

They do not follow construction ordinances. They start working on the building at 4 in the morning, and it’s extremely disruptive to the people who live near by.

Building looks so beautiful and transparent. Any privacy concerns?
