Mother’s Day luncheon today and first time here. Mill setting, spacious and clean. Nice views of the river. The food was good; my baked haddock was ok, the house salad was fresh and crisp, the stuffed baked potato mediocre. The others loved the steak and chicken combos. First time trying fried pickles. Didn’t expect to like them, but they were great dipped in the sauce. Service was EXCELLENT.

I’ve been to The Establishment for multiple events now including my own baby shower, a baby shower I attended, and most recently, my aunt’s 60th birthday party—and every single experience has been fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, and the service is top-notch. Cheryl, our server last night, was an absolute doll—so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She went above and beyond to make the evening fun and stress-free for everyone. The staff here truly knows how to help make special occasions feel seamless and memorable. Highly recommend for any celebration!

Great Place they’ve got here. We were here for a 60th Surprise Party and the event staff Megan, Sofia and Luuuuke handled it with much ease. Our group loves to party and have a good time and they made sure to give us what we came for. Megan, Sofia and Luke were taking and making drink orders faster than John Taffer can yell “shut it down”. The space was clean and well lit, the tvs were easy to set up our photo slide show via Apple AirPlay thanks to Megan’s help. Food was hot and fresh with plenty of quick refills by the team. Will definitely tell friends who are planning functions to give The Establishment a call! Great work and thank you

I ordered a harvest salad very fresh ingredients. I also ordered a side of steak tips . My son ate them so quickly, because they were flavourful & still warm. I ordered through door dash great packaging!!! Impressed !!

What an absolutely awesome party we had at The Establishment on Saturday! The two women who set up the room, bartended, laid out the buffet, and cleaned up were magnificent. These women were so efficient, skilled and professional in the way they handled every aspect of the party. They were really very impressive and a huge factor in the success of the party and the comfort of all the guests. They did all the hard work, we just enjoyed ourselves. I was blown away by the way the room had been set up before we even got there—the water service at one end of the bar, the coffee/tea service all set up and laid out so nicely, the linens on all the tables were so crisp and clean, the whole room was perfect. Then the buffet (magically) appeared with no muss or fuss, the food was delicious, the timing was excellent, it was such an impressive operation all the way through. I am SO GLAD we didn’t try to plan/prepare/execute this party ourselves because you all made the whole event so easy and seamless and really very festive. One of my cousins has a background in hospitality and he told me twice during the party that this was the right place to host an occasion, and that The Establishment handled everything beautifully. That was high praise coming from someone with a critical eye! But I didn’t need him to tell me that everything was just perfect. It really could not have been better. And we thank Dawn very much for all her help and patient advice in the weeks leading up to this event. Her guidance was spot on. Everything was flawless. What a great team of people The Establishment has put together. We couldn’t be happier with the event you planned/ carried out on our behalf. Thank you to all the folks who contributed their particular expertise to make our dad’s party such a happy, successful and memorable event. We are most grateful!

We placed an order via DoorDash and our dasher stole our food. After going back and forth with DoorDash … we ended up speaking to the manager of establishment Jessica who was an absolute angel. She took care of re making our food right away and followed back up with us as soon as the order went out. Her customer service was top tier and we are so grateful for all of her kindness and going above and beyond!

I've been here 3 times and the food and drinks are pretty good. The first 2 times the service wasn't great. It wasn't busy but we had to wait a while to even order. Tonight we were seated immediately and it took about 10 minutes for anyone to even come over so we could order drinks. It took about another 10-15 minutes to get our drinks which she just dropped off and walked away. Another 10 minutes for her to come back so we could order food. It wasn't busy and there were 3 servers just hanging out doing nothing the whole time. The people behind us asked for the manager to complain about the long wait but nothing improved. I'm not one to complain really as I've worked in the service industry before and know how it can be but the poor service is pretty consistent there and i had just worked my second 16 hour day in a row and just wanted to relax and enjoy going out. I wanted dessert but didn't even order it because I didn't want to be there another 15 minutes waiting to order and then another 20 minutes for the food to come out. We only ordered 2 meals and 2 drinks and were stuck there for over 2 hours. Tipped 20% because I felt bad since our server seemed mad the people behind us complained but we won't be back

Definitely recommend The Establishment! Ryan provided great service friendly and professional. Several menu options for everyone. We ordered Haddock, Steak and Cheese, Bacon Burger and a kids meal pasta they even offered a fruit roll up with the kids meal! We spent around $80. Comfortable fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to go again.

Food is good. Can get a little loud. Love the keno. Service is great. I would recommend it.

Massive. Televised. Mediocre. The Establishment is the restaurant equivalent of those trucks you see with the double wide back tires that stick out a mile, but only support a cargo bed the size of a twin mattress - "hey my truck needs two parking spots, but I can only haul a shitzu in the back?" The restaurant equivalent of this is the 5 page ultra laminated menu that weighs 50lbs, but only really consists of the four horsemen of the culinary apocalypse: pizza, pasta, burgers, and salads. Want soup? Sorry, "that'll be chili or chowda for you pal!" Service is equally prompt and polite on first blush, but can sometimes leave you forgotten if you're on the far end of the massive dining area and waitstaff forgot their telescope they use to see you across the massive expanse of TVs and booths. Ambiance can be nice, given the feeling of eating in a greenhouse with the glass atrium style of the building. It's equally a great place to catch a game since there's literally a different TV mounted on every open wall or booth space anyone could find. My advice? Don't expect too much on the food front, stick to game nights in bar area, and don't bring anyone here thinking you're going to impress them, that's not what The Establishment is here to offer.

Our dinner was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Haven't been to this establishment since they were called the Princeton many years ago. This is a casual bar. The food is good. The service was very good. The bar is incredible. Definitely a sports bar. Many televisions with a variety of games playing. Cocktail menu was good and they have a decent beer selection.

Food is good, TVs are everywhere. Plenty of room. Good bar. You're here for fun and friends. The food is reliable, I like that you can get grilled chicken with buffalo sauce on a salad. I've been here quite a bit in the past few years and I have a nephew and niece who work here. Our server tonight was always around when we needed her and very good. Never had a bad experience here

I ordered delivery from uber eats. Sometimes I do if I'm home late. Normally the steak tips are good but damn these things are still mooing. I ordered medium rare, do these look medium rare? They weren't like this the last 4 times. 3 stars because every other experience has been good, not sure what happened.

We held our wedding reception at The Establishment Chelmsford in the North and West rooms. For 125 people it was perfect. Beautiful space with exposed brick and natural light from the skylights. The staff made our night flow seamlessly and were standout in their professionalism and upbeat enthusiasm. Our buffet selection exceeded expectations. We chose the Salmon Florentine, Marinated Steak Tips, and Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. I would recommend The Establishment for functions both big and small!

Food was good. Service was good and friendly. Atmosphere was nice too. I have been in a few times on a Friday evening and enjoyed it.

Mediocre food at best. Dining out is too pricey these days to waste your time and money here.

Had an after work meeting there with 8 co-workers and we were all disappointed. Soggy fries, soggy nachos. The worst were the chicken wings, cooked but the skin was like rubber. Nothing worse than not crispy chicken skin....disgusting.

My daughter goes to school at UMass Lowell. We decided to come out and visit. While here, we found this place for dinner. When arrived, we saw the beauty of the mill and factory location. Along a River/creek, this place is gorgeous. Big bar and plenty of seating with outdoor seating as well. We were seated right away on a Saturday evening. Plenty of beers on tap and good apps. We ordered Fried pickles(good) and fried cauliflower, Buffalo. Both were outstanding. Liv hasn't found good pizza since coming from NY. This was a good crust and a good thin layer pizza. Would we come back? Absolutely. This will be a go to place for sure.

If you want to plan an event, The Establishment is your place!! Not only was the South room stunning, but a few key people made sure our event was a success! To plan the event, I worked with Dawn, who was absolutely outstanding in helping me understand the process, make suggestions and make adjustments where necessary. She made the planning super easy. Taylor was our server and the key person who ensured the flow of our event was perfect and that every person was happy. Just a wonderful experience. Lastly, Nona was the chef who not only prepared our food, but came out to introduce herself, offer suggestions and explained the homemade items that she and her team created. With these 3 key people on the top of their game, our family celebration with 30 family members was a spectacular event. Thank you ladies, you are all stars!!

Good pub food and casual atmosphere. I got a burger it was a fine burger, onion rings were so yummy!!!

We went to this place when it first opened. The venue could be nice, but the many TVs are distracting. The server we had was having a bad day and wasn't very pleasant and screwed up our order, plus the food we got was below average, basically an over all bad experiance, so I don't think we'll ever go back .

Came for my sister's graduation celebration dinner as a party of eight on a Saturday evening. Our reservation was originally for 7pm but we called ahead and they were able to accommodate us for 6:30pm, since we were running ahead of schedule. While it was busy, our waitress was always so friendly and apologetic about how slow the service was, despite it not being a problem for us. She checked in on us many times and made us feel welcomed. The food itself comes in large portions, and there's a wide variety of options on the menu. I have simple tastes and ordered the Chicken Tenders basket, which came with fries, cole slaw, and a sauce of my choice. The food is good, and what you might expect from this kind of restaurant. The atmosphere is lively, and I'd imagine a great place to celebrate with larger groups. Thankfully we were seated at a table against a wall so it didn't feel too loud. One thing to note is that it'd be nice for the TVs to display captions. Otherwise we had a great time celebrating together!

I have Always had mediocre, ambivalent service. Pizza is passable, rest of food appears to be from a freezer bag, lazily presented, and is obnoxiously overpriced. Amazing space that deserves MUCH better. WAY too many TVs. I'd rather go to the 99 100/100 times

Vibe: good, it's located in an old mill, lots of TVs Service: no complaints although they brought out our entrees about a minute after the appetizer. Food: worse than Applebee's. We got the bacon/cheddar tater barrels as an app which were very good but the pulled pork Mac and cheese was barely edible. The cheese sauce was thin and watery and the pork was not at all good. Value: poor, said Mac and cheese was about $20

I was in this restaurant recently and the place is beautiful. The food was also very good. I'm leaving this review because of the horrendous service. The waitress was rude, lazy and actually used profanity. She avoided my table and didn't return to ask if anything was needed or offer water or a second beverage. She had what sounded like was an English/Scottish accent and in her forties. Maybe she doesn't get the concept of the American service industry and earning a tip. She should be shown the door asap! I won't be back.

I wish I could give more stars! I held my daughter's wedding shower there today and everything was more than perfect! Taylor, our host for the event was amazing - taking care of every detail. The food was great - everyone raved about it! The venue was perfect - it was a special day!! Thank you, I'll be back for a more relaxing dinner soon!!

The food is not great. My cheeseburger sliders were hockey pucks. My husband got the pizza he said it was pretty good. I won't return there are many restaurants with way better food

Food was great. Parking was fine but seeing how the restaurant is in The Mill, I'am sure depending on when you go, it could be tricky. If you have any difficulty walking, you might want to skip going here. They have a bar, high top seating and benches. Food: We got the buffalo chicken dip as an app. It was delicious! Chips that it came with could have been fresher. Lg chicken, broccoli, Alfredo pizza was cooked to perfection. The ciders were excellent (per waitress recommendation) and the desserts were the best part. My daughter got the fried ice cream, Husband got the apple tart special and I got the fried dough bites. I think my dessert was the winner. The waitress told me the fried dough bites were shareable. Nobody wanted to share with me (sad, I know). So I figured screw it, I'll get them anyway. She was right, it would've been enough for three or four people. Oh well ;) No regrets! I would say you could go to this restaurant and get an inexpensive meal $30 for 2 people (pre tip) and leave full. Or, you can easily spend quite a bit of money. They also have keno, which is fun.

Typically happy with the establishment with the number of options. Two people in our family are gluten free and they have so many options. Tonight we placed an order to go. Was going to be an hour before ready. Was ok bc worth the wait. My husband got there and they had no order from us. They totally screwed up and just made excuses of being under staffed. Not apologetic at all. So disappointed that I don't know if can go back there again.

Attended an event in one of the function rooms. The food was a selection of appetizers. So basically a bunch of frozen items bought wholesale and heated up. The kind of thing you get for a snn small town pizza joint. Chicken fingers, chicken quesadilla, some tortilla chips, some liquid cheese to top them with. Fried cauliflower. Standard salad. Just need to turn on the fryer and hand the bags of frozen items to a teenager. No need for any chef here. Had a reasonable selection of beers. We tried 5 or 6 between us. All on tap. All flat. I've never come across this before. Every beer, every style, flat with no carbonation. Really bad. Lots of TVs though if you want to go out for dinner and stare at sport. Nice setting. Terrible food and drinks.

Had a great time here in the function room. Helpful staff added 2 tables we needed. Great bartenders, great food. I loved the sausage onion and peppers with a rice pilaf type of rice. Chicken broccoli ziti was good too, a bit much on the sauce, but not dry like I had in other places Downstairs restaurant and bar looked great as well as the outdoor seating area. Definitely a place to come back to.

Food was good and the service was good as well. Plenty of space and lots of TVs for sports.

Our staff had a Christmas celebration here last weekend and went to a show in Lowell after. The ambiance in this restaurant is casual but comfortable. We had a private room upstairs which was a little crowded and was rustic with exposed beams. Our party had about 40-50 people and we had only one bartender so it took some time to move the drink line. To make matters worse, our bartender was also our server and had to close the bar to get the food set up! After dinner she also cleared the tables. She was awesome and I felt bad for her but she handled it like a champ and got everything taken care of. I only hope she got paid extra for doing all of that!!! The food was good for buffet style. We had fish, steak tips, a pasta dish, rice, veggies, salad and rolls. Everything was hot and tasty. Even the steak tips (which are generally not good on a buffet) were cooked nicely and very good. The fried dough bites for dessert were truly awful. Cold and chewy. Those should be off the menu!!! All in all we had a great time, and there was plenty of good food. I would likely visit as a restaurant guest in the future.

Been loving this place for years! We love the bar and even had the wife's baby shower here a few years back. The staff remembers your drink and the pizza is awesome

Our first time trying "The Establishment" was great. We each got a drink (I got the special of the day "peach vodka lemonade" and my husband got craft beer) for an appetizer we got the buffalo chicken dip which was amazing and a healthy portion. My husband got a large cheese pizza. I had a slice and honestly it could be a lot better. It was really thin and greasy. My cheeseburger sliders were cooked to perfection, tasted like a summer bbq. I asked for mac and cheese on the sliders since they have a Mac and cheese full size burger and they weren't able to accommodate.. not sure why.. it's not that hard to just put a scoop of Mac and cheese on them. I would have even paid extra if I had to. Oh well. Overall we had a great experience and Rachel (I think?) was a friendly and competent server. For a Friday night the service was quite reasonable. We will be back!

I've seen a few commercials for this on TV and it's not far away (and I used to work in Chelmsford before this opened) so decided to give it a try. We got the spicy burger and the chicken spicy sub and both were very good. Service was great, we got there before it got too busy, food came out fast and well prepared. It was a nice place for dinner and we'll be going back to try some of their other dinner options.

Great bar food. My favorite it the buffalo chicken dip. Our most recent server was Jean who gave precise recommendations and was attentive. Lots of tv's, keno Good drinks

on 11/4 I called to make a reservation for Saturday 11/9 for 1:00pm. I was told everything was all set. on Thursday they called to confirm and asked if I would mind sitting in the bar at the higher tables and chairs . I said no. I was with a group of 12. Some of them are in their 70's. On Friday they called and told me I have only 2 hours for the lunch. I have never been on a time schedule at this restaurant before. They should have informed me when I called to make this reservation that I only had 2 hours. After I complained about that, they called back and said everything is all set. It made the lunch with my family very stressful. I would never recommend the Establishment. They need training on setting up reservations. not the best place for lunch.

The Establishment is in a really cool old factory building that is attached to other shops. It's in a great location! The restaurant itself was very big, with a nice bar area and then a huge dinning area. The dinning area is surrounded by windows so it feels very open. The wait staff was nice, but they were late with one person's party's meal and drinks. The fish and chips were over fried. I thought the fish inside was a little dry and overcooked. There was a nice spice to the fried fish, but it was just too much batter for my liking. The clam chowdah was a good. It was not a thick chowdah but it was filled with a lot of potatoes. I wish there were more clams in it, that is what makes a delicious chowdah! I would like to go back to The Establishment and try their burgers or sandwiches. I was not impressed by their seafood but I bet the other food there is good!

I've tried a handful of their dishes and they're all very good. Stand outs are the pizza, steak tips and kebab salad. Renovated Mill Building with a brook running next to it. Great food, solid craft beer choices, keno and friendly staff. It's a nice spot and I do recommend.

I wanted to take the time to express our level of gratitude and thanks to the staff at the Establishment for hosting our wedding rehearsal dinner last night in the West Room.  Everything was perfect! The food was fantastic and the staff was phenomenal. Maria was our bartender and room host. She did such an amazing job! She was so friendly and made great cocktails. Dawn is the events coordinator and responds so quick to emails and answers any questions promptly. We wanted everyone to know that the service, food and atmosphere was everything we were hoping for and much more. It was such an easy process to make our rehearsal dinner exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much being a part of our special day. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is great! Not sure how the rating is. It 5 stars ... foods great, service is great, super cool venue! Bonnie was our waitress and she was awesome ... and we had a party of 18 after a baseball game!

Some family of mine in the Merrimack Valley recommended this spot for a good hangout spot, so I tried it with them on a weekend. The Establishment is situated inside of what looks like an old mill building on a small stream/river that runs right next to the restaurant. Love the look and the feel of the building and the way that it is set up. It has a lot of charm and atmosphere. Mood: We got there early before any mobs showed up but there were still a few patrons here and there. Once game times for the local sports teams started to come around, so too did the people. And, it got busy in there, let me tell you. The Establishment, does have that sports-bar feel to it as there are TV's all over the place so you can catch the game no matter where you sit. But as with any sports-bar or grille, that means the noise factor increases. From the size of the dining space, its also great for parties and gatherings with many people. Food/Service: We were seated and had our orders taken faster than you can say "Blitz." However, the drinks came back wrong on at least two occasions. They made an honest effort to make the change, but then after the second try, we think the bartender just gave up as the drink was still not correct. The servers were excellent and very attentive to us, and the food that we got was very good, hot, and tasty. I had no complaints about the food that we have gotten from The Establishment, and in fact, its the place I asked to go as my new go-to in the Chelmsford-area. Overall: I'm down with The Establishment and it was a winner for me. If I could give them 4 and a half stars, that would be my rating for them. My new hangout spot for Chelmsford for sure. :)

First time dining here, it was great! Greeted right away and given amazing service. Our waitress Sarah W was amazing. Had to save the receipt just to get her name for this review. We told them at the seating area that we were here for the first time after finding them on a google search for Keno and they sat us in a prime keno location! Fun atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices! I love how they have a dedicated Keno person and plenty of TV's. The bar area looked exciting although we didn't sit there, we were seating next to it. Most definitely will be back after the service received. Attached are pictures of the drinks and meals. Fish taco starters (ordered as meal) and the Mac cheese burger. Love the idea of the Mac burger but the pasta is so thick it's hard to enjoy the burger without it falling out and making the bread soggy. I ended up eating 50% of the pasta with a fork. YOULL BE STUFFED, I only ate half of everything. Wish the pasta was elbow style would make it more enjoyable

Ambience has the look of a fine dining location, mixed with the energy of a fun clean and welcoming sports bar. Service is quick and food delish- ONE Heads up- they CRANK the AC in the Summer so bring a Sweater or coat, trust me.

My husband has celiac...ordered gf chicken buffalo grilled sandwich WITH fries and loved it! The bun did not fall apart on him! I had a rusticated pizza which was delicious. The drinks were excellent...my sangria was substantial- not just iced down wine with fruit...it was very good! I had the red house sangria. Very good. Very strong. Our server, Bonnie, was very attentive. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely be back! Total bill with 2 dinner , 2 drinks and 1 side salad was $71 before tip. Very reasonable!

Two stars is generous..... Going to The Establishment is like rolling dice, you never know what your gonna get. We have been several times and keep giving them another shot. We went this past Saturday and it was, well, i guess you could say "ok" . . . We were seated smack dab in the middle of the place about a foot from the table aside of us and we might as well have dined with them. We asked to be moved to a booth and were told "no booths available" really? I counted four, oh well.... Service was not that great and our tip reflected our experience. We waited about 10 minutes before the server came over and said "I'll be right with you". When he finally came over he seemed overwhelmed, frustrated, and hurried us through our order. We waited another 10 minutes for our beverages, we ordered 2 diet sodas. The food was "ok", hot and tasted good but certainly not worth the frustration. Also it was extremally LOUD and we had trouble hearing each other for dinner conversation. We will not be back.

The wait staff is nice, and there's a nice family-friendly ambiance, but if you have a diary allergy- forget it. Not much you can eat here. Want a pizza? Nope. There's milk in the crust. Want a sandwich? Nope. There's milk in the bread. Want the fish and chips? Nope. There's milk in the breading. I could order the pasta with a red sauce. That's what we finally settled on. But in 2023, it's time for a restaurant to get with it. Dairy is a big thing and it's so easy to accommodate. You can't make all your pizza crust with no dairy? What about bread that anyone can eat? No sourdough option? Why not?

Last night I ordered a large cheese pizza, like I had many, many times. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell that this was not same pizza. The crust was very light in color, flat and hard. I will not be ordering again.

My girlfriend grabbed me a to-go order of fish tacos to bring home. I got them and it was just fried fish on a tortilla. No slaw, no dressing or seasoning, no sauce or pico, just fried fish in a plain tortilla. I ate the fish like it was chicken nuggets and threw away the tortilla. Not cool. I don't recommend ordering take out.

I was there today for lunch with a large group (18 individuals). We found the staff very accommodating. The food, very varied, plentiful and tasty. The servers were excellent! Great spot to gather and reminisce with old friends.

Food was some what good. Service was god awful like so bad I will never go Back here.

The Establishment opened up their doors to the town of Chelmsford not too long ago. Hidden behind an old mill building, you'll immediately notice the beautiful exterior of the restaurant with windows wrapping around the dining room area when you make your way back here to their private parking lot. Inside, it's a cozy tavern feel with a nice spacious bar, TVs at every angle and a massive dining room that's made for functions. Everything about this place has a lot of potential but I think they haven't quite found their footing yet. Pretzel Sticks- Wasn't sure if it was sitting for awhile but it tasted like pure lettuce because when we got it, the lettuce they were laying on top of was completely soggy underneath pretzels. The Est. Chili- Unfortunately this was one of the worst chili we've ever had. It was watery, bland, and the meat didn't soak up any flavor at all. French Onion Soup- Extremely salty. It does deserve a point for it's presentation. Cinnamon Apple Martini- Now drinks they could do. Perfect seasonal glass of vodka, apple, butterscotch & cinnamon liqueur, and apple cider with cinnamon-sugar rim. Haymaker- Spiced pumpkin vodka, maple syrup, ginger beer with fresh squeezed lemon juice, served with ice in a copper mug. Delightful. Overall Service: The hostess was having trouble multitasking so we skipped the seating part and went straight to the bar. Our bartender was nice but was inattentive, basically was at the far end of the bar majority of the time chatting with other servers. It took awhile to get the food and the check when it wasn't busy at the time so yeah, not an enjoyable experience for us.

This is a great establishment! I come here with a few friends, once a week to catch up. We love this place because they are very thoughtful with COVID precautions. Appetizers are all great, fried pickles, nachos, fried ravioli- so good. My friend ordered everything from salmon, Mac and cheese and sandwiches. Alway very good with huge portions - and not too expensive. Bathrooms and very nice! Staff is pleasant!

I visited the establishment for a graduation dinner. The inside looked promising, there's lots of tables. However, the menu has a lot of stuff on it, similar to the Cheesecake Factory (which is never a good sign). I ordered a pasta primavera, the sauce tasted like it was out of can, the veggies in the sauce were bland and tasteless, the pasta was just simple boxed pasta. I'm no Michelin star chef but I can make a far better pasta at home. What's worse is that I was left with stomach discomfort for days after. I didn't even eat my leftovers :(
