Stopped over before and after an event across the street. Great service, great atmosphere. Good selector drafts and well made mixed drinks.

I never leave reviews but it was so bad I have to. I have been here before and it was fine but last night we waited 30 minutes for a drink, i literally timed it. The older woman behind the bar was taking multiple sips of her drink yet we had to wait 30 min for ours? We were going to eat there but it took 40 minutes for our food so we asked for boxes, my fries were soggy not cooked at all. The server seemed new and did nothing wrong, but just seemed like she was struggling.

Absolutely delicious! The bacon jam on the BLT was packed with flavor—definitely a standout. We also tried the pork belly taco special, and it was amazing! The sweet, smoky flavor of the pork belly was just perfect. And don’t even get me started on the fries... we couldn’t stop eating them, and they were so good we didn’t even need any dipping sauce. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the mood for bold, satisfying flavors!

The Evergreen is much more than just a pub. The food here is extremely elevated and one can tell how much care and thought goes into the preparation and execution of the dishes. The Evergreen has been a culinary haven in Hanover Square since moving downtown. Their Brunch has got to be one of the best in all of Downtown Syracuse. The Chorizo Sausage Gravy and the Corned Beef Hash are divine dishes packed full of contrasting flavors to start your day. Meaty, salty, spicy, and delicious. Their dinner menu is top notch as well. I have enjoyed the daily hummus plate, cracklings, the beer braised short rib grilled cheese, and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It amazes me that their tiny kitchen packs such a punch. It is extremely refreshing to find a place where the food is top notch and the atmosphere is extremely inviting. Plus their live music acts on Sunday are super talented! Thank you Evergreen!

Google
Delicious food - the bacon jam on the BLT was so good! The pork belly taco special was also great. The pork belly had a sweet smokey flavor to it that was amazing. Also, those fries?! Devoured them! They were so good we didn't even dip them in anything! Clean plate club 💯 Decor was fun, great beer selection, and service was awesome. Loved the overall vibe. Will definitely visit again when we're in town.

Google
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The bacon jam on the BLT added such a rich, savory touch—it was a standout. The pork belly taco special was packed with sweet and smoky flavor that made it unforgettable. And the fries? Unreal. Perfectly crispy and seasoned—we finished every last one without even needing sauce. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Google
The food here is seriously next level! The BLT with bacon jam was bursting with flavor—definitely a must-try. We also had the pork belly taco special, and the sweet smoky flavor was just incredible. And don’t even get me started on the fries... we couldn’t stop eating them! So crispy and flavorful, we didn’t need any sauces at all. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

I was visiting on business and found this gem on a google search. I had the pesto chicken sandwich with sweet potato wedges. Absolutely fabulous. Like this seemed like and probably was scratch cooked food and not frozen and heated. Highly recommend. Lots of good beer choices too.

Yelp
Attentive, friendly service. An excellent beer/whiskey/bourbon selection. 50 cent wings on Tuesday. Beer cheese on the nachos which were tasty. A good smash burger. All wrapped in a nice pub aesthetic. Will go back when time permits.

Yelp
Last weekend, a group of seven friends and I went out to The Evergeen. I loved their food and giant beer selection. My partner and I chose to split the herb fries, burnt end chicharrones, and the brussels. I thought the herb fries were delightfully crisp with great flavor. The sweet & spicy smokey sauce that was provided with it was a bit tangy. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me! You'll definitely have to taste it for yourself. The burnt end chicharrones left more to be desired. Both my partner and I thought they were dry and not tender. Also, there was something about the flavor that we did not care for. I absolutely love burnt ends from BBQ joints, and this was the first time we've ordered chicharrones so I don't have something to compare them to, but I'd suggest trying them elsewhere. As for the brussels, when we first got to the restaurant our friends were sharing them. We tried one bite and knew we had order a whole plate for ourselves! They were literally the best brussel sprouts we've ever had. The roasted garlic aioli and grana cheese were topped on perfectly cooked brussels which I would go back for. I highly suggest checking out The Evergreen, go through their beer menu, and find a new favorite plate.

Yelp
A staple of my friend group. Great brunch or dinner spot. Always a decent selection of (mostly local) beers. -they also make a good marg. All the food I've had here has been great. A good variety of food but still a smallish menu. It's generally pretty GF and vegan friendly. There's normally 1, well thought out vegan entree along with a side and app or two. Great for a cozy date spot or a place to share some apps with friends (we love their brussel sprouts and pickle wings). Its just outside of the main part of downtown that parking is a bit easier.

Yelp
Evergreen is a consistently great choice for chill, welcoming vibes and elevated bar food. They offer a full bar and a long list of beers and ciders. I really enjoy their cocktails and my friends love picking out a local brew. Their menu includes plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The wait staff and the chef are really well versed in allergies and always explain whether a dish has potential contamination. This time we got the short rib nachos to share. They were large enough for 2-3 people and were a fun take on bar nachos (short rib and gravy with tomatoes, jalapeños, and onion). I got the chicken bacon sandwich. Really enjoyed the bacon jam. My friend got the grilled cheese with sweet potato friends and had no complaints. The sweet potato friends were excellent and would definitely recommend those if you're getting a sandwich or burger. I love that they're open late, the staff are always friendly and attentive, and their food hits the spot!

Yelp
Cute place with outdoor seating and dog friendly. Had a great local beer and enjoyed the gorgeous weather outside. Service was great. One woman was juggling all the outside tables and kept up with everyone. The food was incredibly overloaded with sauces. My boyfriend's sandwich could not be picked up due to the amount of sauce. I couldn't eat my wrap it was so saucey and sooo spicy. Chips were delicious though. Nice place but recommend sauce on the side unless they learn to proposition the sauce better to the meals.

Yelp
This is such a cute little restaurant on the outskirts of armory. When we went in there was only a couple tables full but more came after us. We were looking for something after the night market at sky armory. We decided to just do a bunch of appetizers. The Brussels sprouts were good but they could have used a dipping sauce, the burrata was soooo good and a great app idea, and the French fry flight was amazing. I thought I might only like the ranch dipping sauce as chipotle and Thai chili crema didn't seem too appealing but they were my favorite. The waitress who appeared to be the only one was very friendly and attentive. If you're looking to not wait 2 hours in armory this is a quick walk.

Yelp
Evergreen is one of my go to for chicken and waffles. The waffle wasn't as crispy as I'd like it but the bacon was crispy and the jalapenos added a nice kick to the dish. Top it off with syrup and butter and the dish is divine! My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and the shrimp looked amazing! Service was also great, our waitress was very attentive and down to earth.

Yelp
A classic Caesar with a twist the dressing was house-made and had that anchovy punch I love. The croutons were crispy but not too hard, and they weren't shy with the shaved parmesan. I added grilled salmon, which was flaky and flavorful. Nice light lunch option.

Yelp
My husband wanted to try a specific liquor that was sold by the glass here, so we ended up coming by for a late lunch one day. The food was absolutely delicious! The wait was a bit long but the chicken tenders tasted like someone's little old grandma handmade them in the kitchen-- so flavorful and delicious! I loved the inside decor with all the plants/vines. Would love to come back here to try something else off the menu!

Yelp
A good stop for dinner on a Thursday night. They had ample outdoor seating on a less busy street downtown. I ordered the Cowboy Burger special. It was over cooked, but I enjoyed the candied jalapeños with it.

Yelp
Great night at The Evergreen for their special Lobster and brew night. Buy 2 brews (not sure if it was draft only, but that's what we had) get a 1.5 lb lobster for $15. No sides, but it was only $8 for a side of salt potatoes and corn which we split. The lobster was cooked perfectly and every piece came out tender and very easily.I tried one of the sours from Maine, just ok. But the Stout I shared was amazing Peanut butter, coffee and chocolate. Also our service was above and beyond....the 2 young men, covering the entire restaurant when we got there, were outstanding.

Yelp
I wanted to fall head over heels for The Evergreen, but it was just like... pretty good for the area. I am SO SO happy they have vegan options, although the current menu seems lighter than what I read online ahead of time. And they ran out of a few apps that my husband wanted. The space itself is really nice, cozy, and comfortable. Parking was also a breeze. The staff was amazing! Super welcoming and attentive. The 3 stars really all boiled down to the food for me. My BBQ Tofu sandwich was just okay. The ciabatta bread wasn't toasted. And they put the sauce on the bun like you might find at a fast food joint-- just a little in the middle. The sandwich lacked the slaw and pickles that were described on the menu. And the fries had an odd sweetness to them with the seasoning... I prefer more savory fries. The cauliflower appetizer left something to be desired as well. It wasn't saucy enough. Just lacking a little bit overall. My husband's steak frites was devoured, but it looked like a steak you would get from a $5.99 casino deal. I really want to LOVE this place, but it just wasn't what I imagined.

Yelp
I buy all spices and noodles here. Love the fresh ground pork! They have a great tea selection also!

Yelp
I came by myself because I had time to kill. Food: I ordered the stuffed portobello, which was creamy and garlicky and amazing, if also quite heavy. I couldn't finish it, but no regrets. 10/10 Drinks: Ordered a "Go Froth Yourself" which is a dressed up espresso martini. It was obvious from just one drink that the bartender absolutely knows what they are doing. They have a solid beer list, but live a little. Try a specialty cocktail. Service: Had to wait a long time to be seated, and an even longer time for the check. On the one hand, they were super busy. On the other, they are probably always busy--I came on a Wednesday night!! Get more wait staff! I don't blame the server for that though. Vibe check: Noisy, social. Mood lighting but not what I'd call romantic. Just a really chill place

Yelp
3.5 stars. We come here pretty often as a local hang out spot. Tried the food for the first time today. We were seated next by the door (I do not recommend this spot in the winter, it got very drafty). We ordered a burger, braised rib poutine and beef stroganoff (a special). I would hope this is an off day, but service was extremely slow and our food came at room temperature. The beef stroganoff portion was very small and unfortunately cold (I ended up taking it home since I couldn't eat it in the restaurant). Burger was pretty good; I really enjoyed the bacon jam and it was cooked perfectly. It gets a little pricey here also. Overall, I would say food is decent though service was really slow, though I would stick with the tried and true menu item. Not a bad place to go to hang out with friends but not to my personal taste.

Adam S.

Yelp
The atmosphere overall was good but unfortunately the service was not. Waiter seemed to be inexperienced or lacking the skills necessary. The main problem was that the food was average at best. Disappointing to say the least.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here twice. I like that there's outdoor seating during the summer months. The food is not consistent, but it's decent. The nachos were mediocre. They definitely have to.add some ingredients or do a "build your own nachos" option. I got fish tacos and they were OK but once again, very bland. I had to add a lot of extras to them to make them tasty. Thats just my own preference though, because I like flavorful and spicy food. I'm guessing they cook to satisfy everyone, but I would appreciate a more unique menu at this place. I heard their burgers are absolutely bomb though. Def try it out if you're in the area!

Yelp
I love it here. The last time I was here, it was very crowded. There was a game on. But, there were open tables and seats at the bar. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a burger with salad and fries. I would highly recommend ordering this! It was hot, fresh and delicious. I would love to come back and try more of their options. I love the ambiance here; it's very cozy and relaxed. I can't wait to stop back here.

Yelp
Normally tell all my friends to come here, but the service was beyond awful. To the point the server was talking back to us, AFTER we had to go up to the bar and get our own drinks and get our own food after watching it sit for 25 minutes at the window.....

Yelp
Come for the drinks but not for the food. After reading reviews and thinking we'd have a chill night after a long drive, I had a good beer on tap and the mojito was good. But ... Meh! That's the reaction I had for the food tonight. Menu for beer and drinks is online. Beer chalk board wall has more, so we started with drinks. Mojito used fresh limes (as we were told) but were ok but didn't blow our socks off and tart but a bit on the weaker side. Nice draft to quench the thirst! Cauliflower wings were good and comes with ranch and blue cheese, I think. Chicken nachos were mediocre using shredded chicken that's likely for the tacos and I'd have liked more salsa bits since they were best on the plate. At $13-14 each, they're not worth it IMHO. Caprese salad was large but I didn't taste it. Spicy chicken sandwich with fries looked better than it tasted. Meh was the response I received. And that's what I said about my Evergreen Burger ... the second one that is, since the first one was served chill cold with limp cold sweet potato wedges. Second one was warmer with hot potatoes, but it fell flat. Was it due to having limited staff, who knows but it' was early on a Saturday night way before the rush, so no excuses. The chicken risotto looked good but don't expect a culinary experience. Seating inside was comfortable and some outdoor tables, too. Can't say I'd make my way back too soon.

Yelp
Our family, not realizing this was more of a bar scene, came for the food and we were not disappointed. Everything we had was delicious (Mac & Cheese; Crispy Brussel Sprout salad; Blackened Salmon Tacos, but prepared like the shrimp tacos, and the Lamb burger) The service was excellent, the food was great. My tacos are among the best fish tacos I have ever had. We will come here again without any hesitation.
google avatar

JJ G.

Yelp
Nothing spectacular and nothing to really draw your back but they did the job. The menu is a little awkward. What did Rizwan risotto which was cooked good but the protein choices are not fitting to the dish. Add chicken chickens are very dense heavy protein to put on top of what is supposed to be a rich buttery Rice and it was grilled chard and spots which kinda didn't give a good flavor profile.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place, and have been many times. Inside there is a large bar and plenty of tables. Outside when there is good weather there is tables that they serve at as well. At the outside tables you can have your dog with you, which is one of the reasons we love this place. The drink menu contains cocktails, wines, and plenty of local beers. The food here is always amazing, you can't go wrong with any of the options. In the past we have gotten burgers and they have been very good, and we've also gotten the brussels sprouts appetizer which was good. On our most recent visit we tried some tacos. My husband got the salmon tacos and I got the chicken tacos. Both are really good and we both tried each other's, and we agreed that although the salmon taco tasted healthy the chicken taco was the best! Only downside at all is they have been short staffed on and off throughout the pandemic so service can be a little slow but the works are all friendly. Overall great place to grab dinner or even grab dinner with your dog!

Yelp
My first time eating out in public since February 2020. I met with some old friends before going to a show. I'm not sure what beer I got. I mentioned that I've been drinking Bud Light at home for the last two years and he said he knew just what to give me. It was adequately like Bud Light, with the richness of being out in public. I ordered the Lamb Burger with Red Pepper Bisque. I've had Mediterranean themed burgers plenty of times, this was by far the absolute best. The goat cheese and tzatziki took the flavor by the horns and left just enough room to spotlight the perfect taste of the meat. I was not expecting to fall in love tonight but here we are. The red pepper bisque was ordered as a side for the burger. It was smooth, and offered the perfect amount of roasted red pepper in bisque form. I couldn't imagine it done better than it was. The pretzels are soft and seasoned as promised. I wasn't a fan of the mustard sauce, but the beer cheese made up for it. Rich and all the flavors of real cheese, not like the "cheese sauce" you might expect from a can. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked crispy as promised, and made a great side for the table. I was also given the last of a deep fried risotto bomb that doesn't seem to be on the menu. This was a perfect way to catch up with some old friends, and the quality of the food served to cement that experien

Yelp
If you've never ever been to Evergreen, after one bite you'll forever ever be coming back. Evergreen is fantastic, if you like beer, they got you, you like food, they got you, you like atmosphere, they got you! My wife and I had a great meal at evergreen, everything was fantastic, cauliflower wings were phenomenal and the tofu in the Po'boy was perfection. Oh yeah, the seasoned fries, my mouth hasn't stopped watering, I personally could just eat those and live happy! It's such a chill environment with nice staff, prompt service and really great flavors on really great food. Enjoy!!

Yelp
Try the lions mane crab cakes! Phenomenal! Vegetarian options that are filling are rare!

Yelp
We came to visit The Evergreen for our daughter's Syracuse University college drop off. We had come here before, because we had done the tour early during the year and we enjoyed the place. My daughter absolutely loves the Macaroni & Cheese with Bacon and I tried them myself and they were very good. They make them with real gouda cheese and it was very creamy and flavorful. I had the Braised Short Rib Poutine and it was really good, but the reason I dropped a star on this restaurant, is because there was no gravy. Consider me a traditionalist, but this is a requirement for this dish or if there is an alternative, it should have been explained in the menu, which said that it came with bone broth gravy. There was some, but not enough in my opinion. The place is reasonable in pricing and we came during "Happy Hour" which provided discounts on beer and cocktails, so that was a plus. I would go again and give this a third try, as we did have a good time here and we appreciated the service.

Yelp
This place is my go to. The burgers are great. I'm a little bias because I lived right above it for a year though. Sometimes it's better than others but it's typically better.
google avatar

Alex F.

Yelp
I keep seeing this place show up in Yelp so I finally decided to try it. The atmosphere is very pleasant, there's plenty of tables and a large bar to sit at. My shrimp tacos were pretty great but definitely had a kick to them which I am a baby and can't handle. The burger was actually super sweet and the fries and roasted sweet potatoes were wonderful. They have an extensive cocktail and beer list. Great place for a little date night!

Emily G.

Yelp
Service was amazing, food was great! And a great atmosphere. Bar is stocked great and draft selection is amazing! 10/10 recommend!!

Yelp
The food and service was great. Our table enjoyed the chicken tacos, fried chicken sandwich, and a hamburger. This was our first visit and will come back.

Yelp
No food After 10;50 sad 6 people hungry . Please adjust to correct hours z we are not student so locals are important

Yelp
For a little taste of something different, but good nonetheless, Evergreen is a very good choice. The grain and beat burger was very very good. Enjoyed the taste, the added accoutrements, and served warm and quickly. The salmon sandwich too provided a nice blend of flavor and tastiness.. A tad on the dry side but not enough to make it a good call. Both Indoor and outdoor seating are pluses. Check out the menu, go up and order your food, and find a place to sit.
google avatar

Yelp
Evergreen is a great spot to grab a craft beer. Stopped after class for dinner and a drink. Full bar too, not just craft beer. I've historically ordered burgers here, and they've always been good. However, my last visit led me to order the mac and cheese. Was very, very tasty. Great spot, if a little pricey!
google avatar

Marilyn L.

Yelp
The service, the food, and the place itself are all amazing. I ordered the salmon blt with a "side salad." It's in quotation marks because it was practically a full-sized portion. All of the salad components were fresh. My sandwich was scrumptious and huge. It was one of those sandwiches that lost its structural integrity in a good way because of all the juices. I have an onion sensitivity, and the bartender went out of his way to find out if there was onion in any of the ingredients of my dish. He found out that there was onion powder in the Cajun seasoning of the sandwich and then worked with the cook to make it without. And I couldn't believe it, but he apologized to ME for asking so many questions in order to get my right! These are seriously sweet people that work here. And my sandwich was amazing My eating companion ordered the beet and goat cheese salad which was large enough to provide two meals. Everything about this salad was on point from the perfectly satisfying crunch to the beautiful marriage of flavors. My ultimate plan is the visit this place so much that I've tried just about everything on their menu because all of the food options were intriguing.
google avatar

Maddy F.

Yelp
Went here for the first time yesterday w some friends. The place was pretty filled around happy hour time. The pretzel bites were yummy overall. Soft and seasoned. The beer cheese didn't disappoint either. Everything was very fresh. Our server was friendly, but he was basically the only person working the entire restaurant so service was a bit slow. Tried a few different cocktails, which were all good.

Yelp
Well there are so many great spots to eat at in Syracuse. I was looking for particular ones that were dog friendly so we could bring the pup! Sean greeted us when we got there. He was one of the best servers we have had in a long time! Water for the pup, drinks for us and a great table to enjoy a beautiful night downtown. Sean gave us several recommendations and I went with the Chicken Risotto. It was superb! My husband had the Mac and Cheese sand with Short Ribs which he thoroughly enjoyed!! Between the excellent service, dog friendly atmosphere and the lip smacking food, we will be back!!

Yelp
Located in Hanover Square, downtown Syracuse The Evergreen was a fun surprise for me when I visited with a few friends. The Evergreen has 20 craft beers on tap along with much more bottled and canned. Though I did enjoy a couple of NY state beers, my main focus turned out to be the delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere where I didn't feel rushed while I caught up with friends I haven't seen in a very long while. The Evergreen's culinary focus is on using locally-sourced ingredients. A huge draw for my friends and I were there great number of vegetarian, (along with gluten-free and organic) options. Two of the four of us were vegetarian. So the expansive vegetarian options made this a go to for us! The cauliflower wings were not greasy and had a a puffy yet light and crispy flavorful batter to them. The Poutine blew me away. I could of given you the gravy to it and you would of never new it was a vegetarian dark gravy. The cheese curds had a squeak and the fries had a texture you would expect from being covered in the gravy. A bit of a crisp meant that they weren't sitting long at all before hitting our table! For the main entrees I enjoyed the sirloin burger with Swiss. On it was leaf lettuce, tomato, frizzled onion, compound butter on a brioche bun. It was cooked to my liking, medium. I really enjoyed the flame grilled flavor that the sirloin had. The Evergreen Mac and Cheese was created with Brie, cheddar & gouda. It also had a cracker topping to had some texture to the amazing flavors of the multiple cheeses. We also ordered the option of having sliced grilled chicken on top. Our vegi friends ordered the Crispy Tofu. It had on it marinated tofu, roasted garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato & house pickles on ciabatta bun. Both said it was fantastic! The interior of the pub was very comforting. Warm wood interior throughout. Service was welcoming and was able to accommodate any needs or questions we had. I am looking forward to checking off more unique menu options in the future!

Yelp
I've been here only twice, both times for brunch, and both times I got the brunch poutine. So while I don't have a ton to review on, I still really like this little spot and will continue to go back. Its a great part the food scene downtown. Bingo brunch--before COVID--was something my club ( Syracuse Eating Cub) and I really enjoyed! I heard all good things about others' food and I recommend the brunch poutine of course. The DIY mimosa (bottle of champagne & carafe of oj) is a great option to split with a friend or two for only $20! Lastly, I was told today that all the French fries are now gluten sensitive. Yay! They used to have wheat battered fries but no longer do now. Both their standard and rosemary fries (shoestring-like) are really good imo! Go check it out friends!

Yelp
Always enjoyable, returned for my first post-pandemic visit and everything was great again, ate outside, service was faster than ever, food came way quicker than pre-we had mixed drinks, salad topped with salmon, and burgers with fries that were all perfect! Will be back soon!

Yelp
Pretzels were buttery and malty and the accompanying mustard worked very well. Poutine was yummy though the gravy was a little unorthodox. My friend had a grilled cheese sandwich that he enjoyed thoroughly. The whiskey and beer selection are substantial, ambience was charming, and service was excellent. Great place to enjoy some food and drink, look forward to returning.

Yelp
Amazing food - service good be a tad better but again - amazing food. Amazing food - service good be a tad better but again - amazing food.

Yelp
Great beer selection including some pretty obscure stouts that id never had before, great lamb burger and $10 bottles of wine during happy hour. Solid choice for beer lovers in Albany.

Yelp
We came here for New Years and had a blast and just came back for a more typical experience. Beers are $5 (8oz and 10oz) for the happy hour deal. They have a great long beer menu. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options here. We were blown away by the cauliflower wings. They were crispy, not soggy, delicious hot sauce, and just excellent. I'm a meat eater and love chicken wings and these were really freaking good. Mushroom flat bread was nice as well. The blackened tofu sandwich was tasty but the bread was too buttery. Would be better if the sour dough were dry and they have butter on the side. Otherwise very tasty. The lighting is super dark, so if it looks closed it may not be. Try the door! We almost walked away thinking it was closed one time. Check out the evergreen!

Yelp
Good food- everything is expensive right now. I ordered a 5.5% ABV Pale Ale and it was served in a snifter glass rather than a pint- $7. Seemed pricey. Food was good. Burger, fries, beer- $30 w the tip. Ok service.

Ann D.

Yelp
Although there were empty tables, we were asked to come back in a bit as the kitchen was slammed and trying to catch up. Returned a 1/2 hr later and waited a while for our order. One dinner was missing. It was comped when we spoke up. Sirloin burgers were very small and sweet potato fries were a small portion also. Maybe it was an off night but not as good as we experienced before.

Yelp
The Evergreen is the best place to grab drinks downtown in Syracuse. The chicken nachos are so good and so is the burger sliders special.

Yelp
So I was in town for work and I decided to visit The Evergreen to have some food and beer. I came in to place and sat at the bar where I was greeted by the bartender. I was given both the food and beer menu. The beer menu listed around 15-20 beers on tap and were categorized by their characteristics. It does appear that they change their beer offerings somewhat often. They also offer bottled/canned beers. The food menu had your standard bar food including burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, etc. On Mondays they have 1 dollar sliders as well. I decided to order a burger along with a side of fries. After ordering I took a look around the place. The lighting was somewhat dark and there was an overall casual vibe to the place. It's not too big as well. One unique aspect is that there is no waitstaff for the tables. So you have to go up to order at the counter or with the bartender. My sirloin burger came out and was amazing. It was appropriately cooked and had great flavor. I ordered the beer battered fries along with it and they were good too (good level of crunch). The bartender was very attentive. In summary the Evergreen is a solid choice for a few cold ones and some bar food. The beer options are varied, the food menu appears to be solid, and the overall casual vibe are all good reasons to visit.
