The Balham spot has a long drinks list that covers everything from pints to pornstar martinis, and for a fun birthday one-two punch you can combine drinks on their terrace with a film in their upstairs cinema room. "Half-price on selected cocktails, beer, wine, and mocktails from 4pm to 7pm every day If you’re into Happy Hours that come with a side of tranquil fish watching, then The Exhibit should be on your radar. This huge three-storey spot in Balham not only has an aquarium that will ignite all those childhood memories of begging for an angelfish at Pets At Home, they also have a three-hour Happy Hour every single day. "The Exhibit is a loud and proud three-story restaurant in Balham and it’s one of those places that does a bit of everything. A bit of cinema, a bit of live music, a whole lot of boozy brunch action. The food here isn’t going to revolutionise your relationship with the common egg, but stick to the avocado on toast and big egg energy dishes and you’re in safe hands. Please note, they do have one of those bottomless brunch, relay-race of prosecco deals and you’ll either be very into that or you just violently shivered. "Outside of circus acts, there’s very little that this Balham bar doesn’t have. It’s got a karaoke lounge, stand-up comedy, open mic poetry nights, a cinema, bottomless brunches, happy hours, multiple terraces, and a fish tank—shoutout to our aquatic species enthusiasts. Set over three floors, the energy is always set to maximum fun and you’ll see plenty of other big groups catching up, sinking beers, and inevitably sharing a pitcher of Pimm’s if the sun is out. "Not only does this Balham restaurant and bar have a private cinema room that you can book out for peak winter cosiness, but their Winter Garden has everything from fairy lights to a snow machine so you can create your own private winter wonderland. Book out the whole space and stick around until 2am (when they close on the weekends). They have a long drinks list that covers everything from pints to pornstar martinis, as well as a Christmas feasting menu.
