Twins Pregame BBQ at Graze in North Loop
Before the Twins day game, we stopped at The Fabled Rooster inside Graze in the North Loop—and it didn’t disappoint. We tried the pulled pork and brisket plates, and both were excellent. The brisket was especially tender with a rich, smoky flavor, while the pulled pork was juicy and well-seasoned. Sides were solid too—the baked beans, and the collard greens were bright and tangy, possibly our favorite bite of the meal. The pickled red onions and house pickles added a great contrast, and the Texas toast rounded things out nicely. Lots of different BBQ sauces to choose from.
Portions were just right for lunch. Everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared. If there’s one critique, it’s that the brisket was a bit fatty—delicious but tough to finish the whole portion.
If you’re in the North Loop and in the mood for BBQ, The Fabled Rooster is a worthy stop. Grab a drink, find a spot on the patio, and take in the views of the old warehouse district now buzzing with breweries, and great food.
