Google
At first glance, this place looks to be another dive bar. However, we were surprised! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a lot of seating either at tables or at the bar area. They do karaoke (but not every night) and trivia tuesdays! We participated in the trivia and it was very fun, especially with the others at the bar. We ordered chips and salsa which were yummy. However, I highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak. It was amazing! They are also HUGE. The portions are really good and you can take the rest home for leftovers. The drinks were also delicious and they had a seasonal alcoholic drink menu which was cool to see. Overall, we highly recommend and would be back here!

Google
So impressed! Came here because of a local recommendation and the food was delicious. The children's menu is a bit lacking but the "adult" menu is superb. My only hesitance is we came as a family for brunch and we were a little disappointed with only 3 kid friend options. Also, my son's food came out super quick, but then there was a large delay to when the adult meals arrived. We had arrived around 11am and it wasn't until about 1230pm the adult meals had been served. Our waitress was so kind and brought out crayons etc., but would recommend helping a parent out and keeping the gap a little shorter please. The food is so good I would love to come back but also don't want to risk a child meltdown, sitting in the restaurant 1+ hrs between the children food being served and then the adults. Assume it would help for table turnover as well. If you're an adult with no kids though, highly recommend

Google
the best food i’ve ever had literally ever, lived in delco my whole life. had no idea this place was THIS good. we will be coming back!!!!

Rebecca Perry

Google
One of my favorite places to eat in Delco. Great atmosphere and amazing appetizer. French Onion soup and Roasted Brussel Sprouts are my favorites. Every entree I have ever had there was amazing. Taco Tuesdays are fun and a nice switch up from their regular menu. Drinks could be better, they are never consistent. Tater tots are overrated.

Google
We heard good things about this place! It was amazing. Food was different flavorful creative! Drinks like the Drunken Irishman was very tasty. The Mimosa towers looked awesome. Definitely the place bring your gang! Sunday brunch was terrific! It’s a well oiled machine from service to food!

Google
Loved everything about this place except that it's a bit loud. Hard to carry conversation even when it's not live music night. Did love trivia though. Don't go if you're trying to catch up with long lost friends but otherwise it's a solid outing.

Google
Been here a bunch of times for various things like brunch, hanging out at the bar, enjoying the outside bar, live bands, and even Irish music on Wednesday nights. Every experience there has been fantastic! The service is friendly and the food is just incredible! Always a great time every time I go, highly recommend!

Google
I loved this place. The waitress was extremely efficient, nice, and very friendly. The food was really good as well. I had the Ceasar Salad with Blacked Salmon and Edamame. Both were extremely good. I also tried their Buffalo chicken eggroll which was good and their mozzarella wedges. Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
We've been looking for a place to play Quizzo/trivia and this fit the bill. The Fainting Goat has trivia on Monday nights, so I made a reservation for 6. The place is cute with goat-themed decor, and according to my sister-in-law, the place has been updated. They also have an outside area out back covered in turf. The menu is extensive with a variety of food such as salads, cheeseburgers, pizza, pierogies, and tater tots. We ordered 3 fried buffalo cauliflower appetizers for our table which we all enjoyed. My daughter and I shared the potato pierogies but be advised there are only 3. We also shared a Caesar salad. The restaurant has specialty drinks along with beer and canned beverages such as Surfside. The trivia hostess was excellent. She made sure we could all hear her and didn't rush us. There were some fun twists added to the game, and overall, it was an enjoyable night. We'll be back to use the gift card we won.

Yelp
I stopped in with a group of 6 during a weeknight. I did make a reservation ahead so we were seated immediately. It was busy as they were having trivia night so it was very loud. I got a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was juicy and tasted great. I would order this again and I would recommend it to others. If I'm in the area again, I would stop by.

Yelp
Nice restaurant/bar near where my daughter lives. I had a cheesesteak with fried onions bladed and sweet potato fries! Delicious meat on a wonderful roll. The waffle fries were crunchy and came with a small cup of maple syrup for dipping. My wife had the hot wings and said they were some of the best that she's ever had. They had a nice choice of beers on tap. I had a couple of Mudhen 1883 IPA's, great tasting IPA and went well with the cheesesteak. Our waitress was great, I wish I would have gotten her name so I could mention her.

Yelp
Came a few months ago. The place smelled like vomit, food was not good at all everything tasted bland. The Fainting Bavarian Pretzel wasn't even good.m, chicken fingers dry yet hard if that makes any sense and Fried Buffalo Cauliflower tasted like it was missing the Buffalo. Mixed drinks were horrible couldn't even drink it. Service also not great. Came to watch karaoke. Recommendation maybe only get beer and watch the karaoke show. #delco #impossibletraveler #delcoeats #karaoke

Yelp
The Fainting Goat was such a hip and cool brunch spot for a Sunday gathering. Our Waitrose was absolutely amazing and very helpful and ensuring that all of our questions were answered with the new specials and great recommendations for ordering. I ordered the bourbon French toast, which was hands-down one of the, best French toast I've ever had. It was perfectly toasted, flavored and rich syrup which was infused with bourbon. The bananas were a delightful treat topped on the crispy. fluffy French toast. The dish perfectly with the sausage and a beautiful black coffee. There's a perfect balance between sweet, savory, and crunchy.

Yelp
So I've read a few reviews of this place. And I have to say that I have absolutely loved their wings. Some of the best I've had, the brunch has always been good. My wife has enjoyed the martini flight while I have enjoyed the Irish coffee and beers as well. Our service has always been great. We intentionally ask for the same server simply because she's friendly and on point. Are there low key racist vibes I don't believe so. You have a great mixture of people that attend. I guess it's also because I've only gone on Sundays for brunch. Took my best friend here and we had an enjoyable time as well. Definitely one of my go to spots for Sunday Fundays and I despise the Pigeons too so it's never for that lol. The look and feel of the place is def a local sports bar.

Yelp
Fun spot to go watch a game and The Bloody Mary was fantastic. Service was on par with what I would expect for a busy brunch during a football game. The food for me, though, fell short. For the price, I expected more. Whether it was in portion, presentation, or execution, there was something missing which left me with the perception that it was just a pricey standard brunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Another favorite meet up place !! Nice menu, lots to choose from. No long waits for our orders, quick friendly service . Indoor and outdoor service. Live music weekly I'd recommend you visit here.
google avatar

debbie h.

Yelp
I met friends here on a Wednesday night. They said there might be live Irish music and there was, excellent! There's plenty of room, both at the table and between the tables to get around. Our server was friendly and attentive, without being too much. My friends loved their food - sorry, all I remember is Long Hots were a hit. I loved my Sweet Potato Fries, Fried Buffalo Cauliflower and Mocktini. There are so many other offerings it's very nice that they're close to home here in Delco. There's an extensive beer selection although no Porters or Red Ales, two of my favorites. I'm not a beer aficionado though. My friends are and they're fans and there are so many enticing offerings, we'll be back!

Yelp
What a great venue! We went here to see my favorite band and was really impressed with the set up of the stage and the acoustics. There was a lively crowd there and liked the set-up of the tables. We are looking forward to coming back the next time that Fat Mezz plays there.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the roast pork sandwich which was delicious! The staff was good and service was ok. Dined at the bar. They have trivia nights which was fun.

Giacomo W.

Yelp
Great service and great food, loved the atmosphere. My host was Lindsey and she did such a fantastic job. Very charismatic and helped us out a bunch. She deserves a gold star or something. Will be back.

Yelp
I went to the Fainting Goat for the first time today with friends. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the chocolate torte cake. The sandwich was very crispy and portion was huge. The chocolate torte cake was gluten free and very delicious. The other people in my party got shrimp scampi, crab cakes, baby back ribs, and wings. They seemed to enjoy their orders. There was a live musician playing during part of our meal. He was very good. My only complaint was that it got busy and the server got busier with other tables and was not able to take care of us in a timely manner. We had another commitment so could not wait. I would come again but would come during a slower time or when I am not in a rush.

Becca F.

Yelp
- The blonde manager was extremely rude. As someone who works in restaurants, I was shocked by her behavior. She came over with a bad attitude and had no idea how to communicate or manage the situation. She was absolutely horrific as a manager- the server was so much better than her.
google avatar

Bacon C.

Yelp
Foods good for the price. When it comes to staff it really depends on who you get. Ambiance is really nice they often have a live band, comedian or show on the stage left of the entrance. I recommend coming with a group because there's so many shareable items on the menu and your gonna wanna try them all.

Yelp
I first tried Fainting Goat for a take-out lunch. On that occasion my husband got the corned beef special and I got the short rib sliders. We also ordered a slice of key lime pie and a peanut butter explosion cake for dessert later in the evening. My husband loved the corned beef special. It was everything he hoped it'd be. The short rib sliders were OK...they were missing something. Flavor? Extra ingredients? I couldn't quite put my finger on what they were missing, but they needed a little zhush. Both desserts were great. If you would have asked me after that dining experience what my rating was, I'd say 3-stars. However, I just had the opportunity to try The Fainting Goat for dinner, and it was awesome! I got the chance to taste the Bavarian pretzel, fried pickles, buffalo chicken eggrolls, Brussels sprouts, and the pork sandwich which came with fries. Everything was crispy which was a huge relief to me. The fried pickles came in slices with a great dipping sauce, and they were so, so crispy. The French fries that came with the sandwich were crispy. The sprouts were roasted with bacon and came with parmesan and balsamic. I was really impressed with their "pick-on" food. My husband loved his pork sandwich. Pro tip - request some horseradish sauce with it! I will definitely return here again. The menu is huge and there's a lot left to try! Check out the photos of the food I got...they speak for themselves. Also, who doesn't love their take-out containers?? So cute!

Yelp
I've eyed up this place for a visit in recent months and was not disappointed. Parking was found easily up front and to my shock I was the only person in for a noon lunch. The girl working told me they typically have a later lunch crowd 2pm and later. The inside itself is pretty big, clean, updated and big. The place just seems to keep going as you walk towards the back bathrooms. The beer garden out back is huge and looks like it would be a great time when in season. Apparently the building was a seafood restaurant and a bar in the past. The girl working was really nice and a good conversation. She recommended a burger, so I went with their Jalapeno cheddar burger which comes with pickled jalapeno, shredded cheddar, lettuce tomato and red onion. While I waited I noticed they had many TV's around the bar and other seating areas. They also had a decent craft beer list with local and national independent craft breweries. My burger was tasty and on a fresh bun. The meat was cooked to my liking and they substituted tots instead of fries. They have several tot variants in their app menu inspired by local towns for each style. Mine were just plain, but I thought that was a neat menu item. I would have rather had raw jalapenos instead of the pickled for heat, but overall it was a tasty burger. I noticed they had a bison burger on the menu, so next trip I may indulge in one of those. The burger was around $12, I thought it was a good value and my expectations were met. I would definitely return here!

Yelp
Went here for brunch with a friend and it was just okay. While the drinks were cheap the food was nothing to write home about. I opted for the skillet bowl and she took the waitresses suggestion of the avocado toast which was not great. I don't see myself returning unless i'm just looking for something cheap.

Yelp
Back on MacDaddy Blvd. cause we were at the track placing Derby bets. Had high hopes due to the large and varied menu. No curb appeal however large parking lot and patio hidden in the back. Saw some a birthday cake at a table by the window and lots of dressed up patron's entering. Loud music blew us back as we entered the crowded dining room. Got a table, reviewed the QR menu on our phones and proceed to order and was told they were only serving brunch at 2:45 pm on a Saturday afternoon. That was a considerably smaller and less impressive menu. Quiche was not bad, but was probably better six hours earlier. The potatoes were mushy old and cold. Mr. easy-2-please had a quesadilla. A cold beer always makes him happy. Will continue my search for a go to in the area.

Yelp
Great service & great food the waitress was right on point. We went for brunch it was very good

Yelp
Brunching with a party of 10. There clearly was an issue in the kitchen. We all got our menu items at different times. The food was ok. The wings were delicious. The server brought out pancakes and mistakenly called them chocolate chips because of the black specks on the pancakes. They were light, fluffy and delicious. The chef needs to clean a portion of the grill to make pancakes. In general the food was okay, the server worked hard but the service was sporadic. I will give it a second chance in the future.

Lori T.

Yelp
We were a party of nine and everyone enjoyed their drinks and food. Our waitress Jen had us laughing the whole time. We all said we will definitely be going back.

Yelp
good food, good atmosphere, good drinks. The service is hit or miss. I like it there because it's relaxing and they have booths, and I can just enjoy the atmosphere and my meal. I never feel rushed.

Yelp
Menu and Service are top notch for the area Always have a good experience and never go home hungry

Yelp
It's New Years Day and everything is limited so I'm giving the restaurant a little grace. My server was friendly and efficient with taking your order and offering suggestions. The downside and rightly so is the staff was limited so my original sever left and the next person was to 'come on' an hour later. In the interim any additional items would have to be ordered at the bar. However when I placed an order 'to go' at the bar there seemed to be a little confusion. I tried to place the order with the female server at the bar, 'one minute until she comes back', she who? Of course I had to return as my order wasn't placed. It's New Year's Day I understand not paying for too much overhead. As for the restaurant it's very spacious, clean and inviting. At the entrance there is a large bar with several large screen TV's with various stations tuned in, something for everyone. I ordered Nachos Grande they were just that, filled with ingredients however they lacked flavor. Because my servers shift was over during the meal it would have been difficult to request additional salsa etc. The chicken for the nachos was minimal, shredded very fine and tasteless. Additionally there was lots of cheese but very little of it was melted. On the other hand my husband really enjoyed the French Onion Soup and cheesesteak rolls. My mother 'Loved' the potato pierogis I ordered to go Will I return? Probably as it's close to home with a lot of food and drink options.

Yelp
Food was ok for the price service was a little rude ambiance was good overall we did enjoy ourselves

Yelp
My first time going to this restaurant and it was giving very much racist from the very first encounter until I left. Unwanted stares and awkward silence, won't be going back and definitely won't recommend.
google avatar

James A. Y.

Yelp
Good food, but extremely slow service. Two of us ate and we each had a pizza which was very good. Just be warned, if you go to eat here, it will take a while based on what I experienced. First time I went, two in my party also, we ended up getting up and leaving after waiting to even get menus for ten to 15 minutes. Second time, same experience, but we stuck it out. Ended up being close to an hour from the time we walked in, to getting food. Like I said, the food we got was good and the prices of everything very reasonable, just takes a while.
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
Nice place, had some live music, a beer garden and even the bar with plenty of TVs through out. Food wasn't to bad, and the waiter was really nice. Loved to see the live banjos. They really made it a jolly spirit in the place. There were quite a bit of them on stage of various instruments. The beer garden was so cool I wanted to sit outside but, it was a bit warm. There were TVs all over so if there was a event that your didn't want to miss, I'm sure you wouldn't. The food was alright, we had poutine fries with the cheese curds. Also, The goat pizza, the sweet taste was so good, the crust was like a cracker though. I'm not sure I would come back but it was pretty cool to visits and observe the atmosphere.

Rita G.

Yelp
Enjoyable food, drinks and ambiance! We've been a few times and enjoyed our meals and apps.
google avatar

Sean E.

Yelp
The bartenders are cool. Not very efficient and rather forgetful, but it's a fun vibe. Karaoke once a week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays I think, I can't recall what day I was there. It gets really loud with the karaoke. The food is decent and the energy and crowd is pleasant. Check it out if you're in the area, live near by, or just passing through.

Michael C.

Yelp
The food is incredible. Had the Jambalaya. Rice and Jambalaya were separated on the plate allowing for the customer to mix it to the density they preferred. Served with cornbread that was buttery smooth but not greasy. A little pricey but be prepared to eat well. Portions were generous. And, who knew that tots could come in so many delicious varieties. The menu is online. There is a small placard on the table with a "QR" code that takes you there. So bring a phone to see it (hard copy menus are available).

Kathleen L.

Yelp
Food is very good! Service is the best! Ambiance pleasing! We enjoyed a nice meal and a cocktail, requested a drink (special) but one ingredient was no longer available, but the bartender suggested something else comparable and I was happy with her choice!

Jon L.

Yelp
after five years as a patron I just had the worst experience here . owner slammed a container and threatened me for taking a cherry for my soda . threatened to call the police and have me arrested for stealing . tried to bully me out the door with his big stomach but I had to shove him when he violated my personal space .
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
Great amount of good meat but the cheese and onions needed to be mixed in with the meat. The meat got boring towards the bottom. I tasted a little onion cheese combo and it was good. There needed to be a whole lot more onion cheese combo. The service was great!! Good draft beer selection.
google avatar

Yelp
The Fainting Goat NEVER DISAPPOINTS! NEVER A BAD MEAL OR BAD SERVICE ! Great food - Great atmosphere! Brunch for the 1st time- absolutely delicious!

Yelp
IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 stars I would give a million zero stars. This place is not safe for anyone of color. I'm so sorry to say that I would have loved to stay at this place if I didn't have such a bad experience. Me and my friend who is white were seated outside. The girl at the bar outside was fantastic super nice. However it started to rain so my friend and I went inside, thinking it would be not so bad. We went to find the hostess to be seated. Me and my friend both greet the hostess she only responds to my friend. She does not make eye contact with me or anything. She took super long to find a table even though there were seats near the bar and towards the other side of the restaurant. We end up sitting in a small room to the side where the live band equipment was!!! There was no one of color insight. I got at least 10 FAMILIES starting at me for the color of my skin. I've never been hit with so much silent racism in my life. Please save yourself from this place. 0 fucking stars !!!!!!!

Yelp
This gem is a short drive from the Philadelphia airport. Our waitress, Chris, was wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was relaxing.

Janet M.

Yelp
Great appetizers and great drinks . Service was also excellent. I love the fact that it's a live band playing music

Yelp
Food was "ok" at best. Service was less than desirable. Definitely a local watering hole.

Yelp
Recently went to The Fainting Goat to meet up with some friends who were visiting in a nearby town. We made reservations and when we got there, it didn't seem like we would've needed them. It was pretty empty around 11am but by noon, it was packed. It definitely gets very crowded for the Eagles game (go birds!) We were sat promptly and although we didn't partake in a boozy brunch, the options on the menu looked amazing. I personally love the idea of a flight of bloody marys and a mimosa tower. They had other fancy boozy drinks and a full bar if traditional brunch drinks don't sound appealing. I ordered the hashbrowns waffle, which was surprisingly good. I'm not sure why I never thought about putting hashbrowns in my waffle iron before. It was full of flavor topped with cheese and eggs with a side of syrup. Definitely, a twist on a classic breakfast while I thoroughly enjoyed it. As for my friends, they ordered a breakfast sandwich and a chicken fried steak. They seemed to enjoy it and mentioned how large the portions were. The waitress happily split our checks 4 ways and there was plenty of parking. all in all, I had a good experience and would come back if I were in the area again.

Yelp
Fantastic food, great service. A gastronomic delight. I'll be back next time in Jackson

Yelp
My only complaints are with our waitress. I may have heard her name to be Janice or Janet, but I think that whatever her name, there are 2 waitresses with that name. First problem was that we asked for separate checks and her response was "we don't do that for a party of 6 or more. So, our group involved some couples, so we wanted 5 checks, not 6. Her response to that was "no, that's too much trouble". Then 5 minutes after ordering, she bring 2 burgers over to two of our ladies, and nothing for anyone else. After a short wait, we asked how the 2 burgers came, but nothing more. Her response was "those burgers were actually for an order at the bar, but since me and the other waitress have the same name, it got confused". We had soft drinks / most has iced tea n lemonade mix, and she didn't offer to fill the glass a single time. The one time she came by with a pitched of water and filled one friends glass with water, when he was drinking tea and lemon. By now we have no interest in her any further. Although half of us wanted to get dessert, she didn't deserve to have the check amount bumped at all, although she tried relentlessly to the point that we had to tell her quite firmly that we are not getting dessert. The food was pretty good so I hate for this to be under the restaurants name, but they are at least partially responsible for having wait staff that are so unprofessional. Will we go back to the fainting goat, absolutely. But if she is our waitress, we'll need to move To a different section - and I'll tell her that personally. FYI, a 20% tip still needs to be earned, and it wasn't, so she didn't get it.

Yelp
Great food and service. All the drinks were delicious and the blood Mary flight is a must!

Brandon M.

Yelp
This place was amazing. Great great people, great service. Luckily we were there for trivia night and we were invited kindly. If you go, you must order the crab tater tots.

Yelp
The outside menu is far more limited than the indoor menu. We ate outside and we're very pleased. The service was slow but the server was polite friendly and very helpful. The outdoor seating is very nice you never know you're right on MacDade boulevard. I can't wait to go back

Yelp
Went here for Mother's day. Staff was super friendly and gave out flowers to all of the woman. Great beer selection & delicious locally made pierogi's. Plenty of staff, great place to watch a game

Mike R.

Yelp
Terrible service Saturday! Rude staff, horrible music from the solo guy performing. Just a bad rainy night and it was depressing.
