We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing — full of unique flavors that you won’t find anywhere else ( Taster Menu) Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and truly memorable. The ambience was perfect as well: warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were brilliant—attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Overall, a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Wow what a Sunday lunch! This meal was incredible across all courses. The staff were very warm and friendly. They went above and beyond for us yesterday. Savannah was exceptional and managed to fit us in following us booking the wrong day. Absolute star. Highly recommend this restaurant.

A great restaurant for true foodies. Beautifully presented food, with expertly combined flavours. Portion sizes were perfect to enjoy multiple dishes. We had a 3-course lunch and enjoyed every bit of it. Professional service. The drinks selection was excellent too.

This place is amazing!! Me and my partner went there to celebrate my birthday and our engagement and we couldn’t have been more impressed!! We were warmly welcomed as we entered by both the manager and waitress, wished a happy birthday, congratulated on our engagement, told of anecdotes of one of their engagements and just thoroughly well looked after. The service was 10/10, no notes!! And the food, omg incredible is an understatement. I wouldn’t call myself a connoisseur of fine food but dear god I’m going to try to be now because everything was just incredible. Seasoned and cooked to perfection we couldn’t have enjoyed the whole experience any more! Well done team!!!

Lovely hotel with a fantastic chef who gave my wife and I one of the best meals we have ever had,expensive but well worth the experience. The breakfast was also excellent served by a lovely lady called Sally.The bedroom was large with an en suite walk in shower which was great. Every where in the hotel was lovely and clean.The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be back.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is beautifully prepared and there is a well chosen wine list. The service is crisp and welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and the prices are very reasonable, considering the quality. It’s a really lovely place to have a meal. Top marks.

We had an issue with our booking which the lovely Sally sorted wonderfully and was here to greet us when we arrived. What an asset she is, lovely customer service. Our room (number one on ground floor) was beautiful, pristine & so comfy. Beautiful huge shower, fleecy towels, just lush. Lovely crisp linen on the comfy big bed, little kitchenette with all you need if you want to fix yourself food, but my advice is, don’t. Eat & the hotel and you won’t regret it

The food just amazing, service wonderful and the room fabulous ( So very clean and spacious) |We recently stayed at a 3 Michelin star restaurant with rooms, and I have to be honest I preferred the food and room at The Fanny Talbot. |Thank you to everyone from the moment we arrived to leaving it was just perfect. |Just wanted to say a thank you to Sally at breakfast x the customer service here is outstanding. |I can totally recommend and we will be back.
