Not terrible but not excellent either. Whereas visiting the Serenbe area is a cool thing, this restaurant's farm to table Saturday Fried Chicken lunch failed to live up to the hype. We went for my husband's birthday. Our server was so absent that I had to get up and ask that he come check on us. That's a big red flag to me. Who found the chicken to be overcooked, over fried and bordering on burnt. The atmosphere was groovy, but having poor service overshadowed everything. While we were there only two tables of four were seated, our group and one other table. Each of us had our own server so my expectation would be that are glasses would not run out of water and that our server would stop by to check if we needed anything, where we ready for dessert, clear the plates away... None of that happened. We won't be going back and I sincerely could not recommend. I wound up being embarrassed for having hauled our family this far from home only to be greatly disappointed. At this level place I would have expected someone in management to stop by and say how are things folks? If you're going to make out like you're all that and a bag of chips, then deliver. I'm not being harsh I'm being honest, I never launch into a negative review unless it is warranted. I gave four stars for the food only because the sides were well made.

Unfortunately our entire party thought our dining experience was a 3 mainly due to the lack of service. The food was good and fairly priced and they even had some rare bourbons to drink. Serenbe is a nice relaxing farm where our food appeared to be locally grown.

Not worth it. Service was extremely slow. The waitress was not very knowledgeable about the menu. They didn’t take any of the empty plates, glasses, bread bowls or used silverware. I had to ask them to remove them because the table was getting cramped. Also had to ask for refills even when she came to the able a few times. The food was sub par. I got the strip loin and they didn’t even give me a steak knife. I just made do with my bread knife. My girlfriend got the stuffed squash. It was extremely small. The bed of greens it was on top of looked like weeds you would pull from the yard. The grounds and atmosphere were nice. You would just expect a place like this to have better service and food quality. Definitely won’t be going back.

We had a phenomenal time at this lovely restaurant fory special birthday. The atmosphere is charming, the views of the flower filled garden are serene and the food is inventive and beautifully displayed. They were able to accommodate my various food sensitivities, and modify a dish just for me. I also received a complimentary champagne for my special day. The dessert also came with a candle. Even though it was chilly and rainy the day we visited, it was beautiful and very memorable. We will be back!

My parents wanted a special dinner to celebrate their anniversary and I found that the spring tasting menu was fitting for the occasion. Let me tell you, between the superb food, super friendly staff and the exquisite food presentation with the wine pairing, they delivered! Now, we got off to a rocky start because I had to push back the reservation so initially, there was some confusion. However, after we sat down and the staff sorted everything out, the evening was remarkable after that! We had a chef's tasting meal where wine was paired with each plate. Not only was the meal executed exceptionally, but each wine selected for each course paired superbly with what we ate! The sommelier was so knowledgeable and her passion during her explanations of each wine showed. We loved our time with her when she came to our table and knew we were in good hands with the wine. We started with a strawberry gazpacho, which was a great way to open our pallette. It opened up the taste buds for each course following, which only got better and better. The smoked leeks were good but didn't compare to what came after. The next thing we had was a wagyu tartar with capers which was excellent! It wasn't over seasoned and it paired perfectly with the wine for that plate. The next dish we had wasn't even on the menu and specially prepared for our table. We all were surprised and that ended up being our favorite dish of the night! It was halibut with mushrooms, leeks and a special sauce. Man let me tell you, that fish was cooked perfectly and every component on that plate just added to the flavor of the fish and elevated it with every bite. If I could have licked the plate, I would! It was so delicious and my parents really enjoyed that dish as well. The wine paired with it was sensational, and it also happened to be the only one my mom finished! Our 2nd favorite dish was the wagyu steak with mushrooms, smoked leeks and a sauce. Man, that steak cut like butter and when you ate it, it melted in your mouth! Truly a great dish. We finished off with a chocolate cake which was great! I don't normally eat chocolate cake but that cake was so good! It wasn't sweet and was a great way to end a perfect meal. Between the attentive and friendly staff and the customer service manager who came over and checked on us, and even explained some of our dishes to us, we were more than thrilled with this experience. We will definitely be returning again for the next tasting and recommend it to anyone we know to try it! Thank you all for the great memories and great time we had.

Google
What a beautiful moment and meal. When we live in a world full of options, it’s amazing when you come across a hidden gem. Great service, great food and great atmosphere. I enjoyed my fried chicken, curry soup, shrimp and cocktails. This restaurant feels like home. Thank you and I will return. I will also invite friends and family.

Google
This place was a letdown. We were the only customers, and our server was incredibly friendly. However, the food was far from what we had anticipated. The tomato bisque was horribly acidic, reminiscent of canned tomatoes or soup that had been doctored. There was no fat to counteract the acidity, not even a drizzle of olive oil, shaved Parmesan, or croutons. The Asian salad tasted like pure vinegar. Again, there should have been a balance of fat, acid, and salt. To make matters worse, the couple slices of avocado were partly brown. I had hoped for fresh bread to help neutralize the acidity, but I received grocery store bread with that generic taste. Not an organic or even fresh experience.

First visit here. Food was delicious but portions were small. Our waiter was outstanding!

Yelp
WTF stands for Wine, Turkey, Friends which is what we had for our Friendsgiving weekend. We loved that The Farmhouse breakfast is included when you stay on the property. The buffet style breakfast includes scrambled eggs, smashed potatoes, bacon, chicken sausage, French toasts, a variety of pastries, bagels & toasts. They also had hot oatmeal, grits and all the toppings along with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and cereal. The service was pleasant greeting all the guests, pouring beverages and providing condiments. They also bring out the fresh biscuits! The menu was simple and tasty. The only complaint was the French toast. It was drenched in butter or oil, crispy and really not edible. It was the oddest tasting I'd ever had. Fresh juice, coffee and tea will be provided upon request. The Farmhouse is exactly that. Charming, rustic, cozy and elegant with a bar, many seating spaces and lots of windows providing natural lighting. One of the servers suggested returning for lunch and dinner service. They have a low season when kids are in school and the weather is cooler to just have a bite. I'd love to come back and experience more farm to table goodness.

Yelp
This was our second time attending this restaurant. We had and amazing time. After dinner we fed the farm animals.

Yelp
We came to Serenbe for a mini-babymoon & ate here Saturday night. We had heard great things about the Hill, but preferred to try this spot & it did not disappoint! Highlights: *great ambiance in a sweet country house. Very cozy. *service was wonderful & our waitress was really nice *crab cake - wish it was 2 instead of one big cake, but it was perfectly cooked *raspberry chocolate cake - SO delicious & a perfect balance of tart raspberry & decadent chocolate *short rib sous vide Other notes: *pumpkin gnocchi with truffle - loved it, but a little tough & I wouldn't have known it was pumpkin if the menu didn't say

Yelp
I was visiting for a screening and stayed for dinner. There was just the two of us. I've always loved the ambience here. Warm, friendly with a touch of elegance. Quiet enough to be able to hear your party but not so much that you can hear the other table's conversation. Food: I had the Duck Breast which was lean without being dry and it wasn't gamey. The sides complemented the protein well. I would give to a 4.5 stars and only because it was just a tad under seasoned. My friend's lamb was absolutely gorgeous. Though it looked more like a fall entree than a summer one. She said it was cooked just right also. We shared the Serenbe Greens salad and the Tuna appetizer. The salad tasted fresh and the greens was what you would expect from a farm to table restaurant: crisp, flavorful and fresh. I especially liked the shallot dressing as it tasted handcrafted without the excessive oil or sugar. The tuna tartare was sublime! Definitely top grade tuna that you can cut with a spoon. The service was attentive and fast. It was a Sunday night and the place was pretty packed but our order was taken promptly and served at the right temperature. I love this experience as much as I loved my last one in 2021.

Yelp
The service here is excellent. We had lunch and dinner here and were so pleased by that. But the food was-- meh. I made the mistake of ordering the $22 starter heirloom tomato carpaccio and was seriously served a plate of sliced tomatoes with some capers and parsley on a plate. This presentation of not even a whole tomato for $22. I don't mind paying fine dining prices but the food should be... I guess, better than a sliced tomato? My husband had the risotto which was good and the en we split the chocolate coulant for dessert which was dense and burnt-- not the delicate, moist chocolate experience it should have been. Just some slightly lazy execution in my opinion. Can't say enough good things about the service-- can't stop feeling slightly embarrassed over paying $22 for a tomato.

James S.

Yelp
Came for Easter with the parents. Four of us ate for $450. It was some of the worst food I've ever had. Fried chicken was soft, salad was so sad, dessert was way too sweet. Service also wasn't great. Would not recommend.

Shaunda H.

Yelp
So came here as a gift for our daughter's graduation dinner. We weren't told when we made reservations back in Sept that it would be a set menu. So once we got there, it was, and there were no substitutes. The price was 98pp. With a 78 back tip, it probably wouldn't have been so bad if we could have substituted some things my husband couldn't eat. But the wellington was delicious. Maybe not 98 bucks worth but good. Would we come back not if it's a set menu.

Sonia M.

Yelp
Our team had breakfast here every morning during our stay and the service was fantastic. Pam, our server every morning, remembered are beverage choices and ensured we had everything we could possibly need. She was amazing.

Robbyn K.

Yelp
During our group stay Nov 3-6, we had breakfast at the Farmhouse buffet 3x - they have great options - eggs, potatoes, bacon, fresh fruit, fluffy biscuits. Again they were great about dairy free + gluten free on request - making fresh scrambled eggs without butter or cream for our friend who is dairy free. The woman who runs the window (super short blonde hair, GREAT style) was AMAZING. Not only with us, but how she interacted with her staff. Super appreciated her. We had a dinner under the stars on the last night and Chef Nick outdid himself - 5 courses & each course was better than the next and the pastry chef made incredible dairy free sugar free dessert. Our 2 servers were attentive & great with their wine pairing selections. Looking forward to our next girls trip!

Yelp
Went here for the first time recently and I honestly can't say enough good things. The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in the door, the host was very friendly and helpful, seating us promptly for our reservation. The restaurant had a cozy, casual vibe with lots of great lighting and aesthetic touches throughout. The wait staff was awesome and was able to answer any of our questions as well as making note of other dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding and well priced for the quality and taste, I had the venison tenderloin and my wife had the prime striploin, both were cooked precisely as requested and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Joe V.

Yelp
A delicious meal and experience. See photos for what we enjoyed and cost. I'd recommend, but I wouldn't say our server was knowledgeable or timely. This wouldn't deter me from going back as we all are having some staffing hiccups in our business. The manger was awesome and helped get things on track. Enjoy and like my photos ---look for activity one to enjoy !!

Pierre F.

Yelp
The cooling is almost always a long off. They are all enthusiastic but there something not aligned between the ordering, the cooking and the serving. I had the bouillabaise and all the ingredients were overcooked. Not good for a fish dish! The accompanying broth was great. They may not know how to handle seafood. One time I ordered oysters and they were served warm.

Christian C.

Yelp
Great everything. View, the food, the service, just all Around relaxing and a good time

Yelp
We had a delicious dinner for date night last night in the beautiful, pastural, and serene environment. The pictures speak tot he delicious presentation of the food. They give you plenty and the service is five-star. This spot reminds me of a beautiful B and B in rural New England, and I'm just delighted it is just a short drive from home. My wife and I are thinking of coming to stay one week for rest and relaxation. It's a very quaint property, suitable for wedding, gatherings, receptions, and just dinner with the family or for two. I strongly recommend The Farmhouse for a delicious, high-class, and elegant dinning experience. We were quite pleased.

Lami M.

Yelp
I wouldn't have ever gone in but I was invited and glad I did. Food was delicious, hot, and very tasty. Service was amazing as well. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Easter brunch was some of the worst food I have ever been served and completely inedible. Very expensive, very bad food. We actually laughed at how ridiculously bad the food was and how ridiculously expensive it was. Surely, it must be a joke! We even left the dessert uneaten. The joke was on us. Horrible!

victoria w.

Yelp
I love the farmhouse! Exceptional food, amazing ambiance, and even better service! Chef Nick makes the most amazing food! Bethany makes the best cocktails and always takes the best care of us. Highly recommend!

Russ D.

Yelp
We came here for Easter brunch. Everyone was vetting nice but the food was terrible. It felt like food you would get at a conference or a very bad wedding.

Ryan K.

Yelp
It was definitely worth the drive.Beautiful atmosphere and food presentation. The Elk chop was the highlight of the evening.

Paulina A.

Yelp
The Farmhouse is a historic house converted to a restaurant near the Inn at Serenbe. We came here for my sister's birthday and the experience was overall nice. It's a farm to table concept with a limited menu of options and leans towards the more expensive side. We all loved the cheddar biscuit basket, those were very memorable. The dishes we ordered included the risotto, flank steak, fried chicken and trout. Everything was tasty and flavorful. The service could afford to be more friendly and centered on true Southern hospitality.

Phyllis M.

Yelp
Service was great! Ambiance was charming! Food was delicious with decent serving sizes.

Yelp
This food is fresh! The parking is good and the customer service is excellent! This spot is a hidden gem! I highly recommend making reservations to assure great seating-ENJOY!!

Yelp
Went for a lunch last Saturday with friends at 12:15. Empty restaurant except us, we were seated at a small table more suited for x2 than the x4 of us. Lots of other tables available as the place was empty... Our table had a loud Sonos speaker plugged in next to it on the floor and a blasting air vent was blowing cold air in all the wrong places. None of the food on the menu was grown anywhere near that restaurant.. so no farm to table... The mac and cheese was some sort of cheap chain restaurant premade thing And the funniest part of the whole experience was after the biscuits came, hot pepper jelly was brought to the table. No butter. We asked the server for butter and olive oil with salt and pepper were suggested instead... ON BISCUITS??? I said I'd rather have butter please and was told the restaurant had run out of butter and they had realized this at breakfast. This was now close to 1:00 pm... I said don't you cook with butter and have some in the back... nope I said could you have gone to the store and gotten some in the now 4 plus hours since discovering this? There were murmurs of "running out" and sorry sorry sorry Then the hostess or manager came over and asked how our meal was - I said despite no butter....it was ok.. Then the hostess started to make a new set of excuses for not having butter available... We laughed and laughed after this experience because it was so very LAME... not about the lack of butter

Yelp
In between the rolling farmlands and the thick forest of South Atlanta sits a small town composed of small business, restaurants, and beautiful houses line the streets. One side, the farm is full of goats and horses, and on the other there is a cozy Inn where you can stay for the night. Serenbe, has come into its own as a day trip destination boasting everything from shopping to dining to the arts and everything in between. Recently, we took a short daytrip down there to explore the community, take in the grounds of the farm and Inn at Serenbe, then enjoy dinner at the The Farmhouse at Serenbe. This day had the perfect weather to sit on the sunporch at The Farmhouse at Serenbe and enjoy a cool Everlasting Lemonade and a stellar Herb Encrusted Lamb Rack. We can't get over the delicious fare here with everything from carpaccio, foie gras, pork chops, lamb, and lemon cake. Plus, they grow a lot of their veggies in a garden on the grounds and locally source everything else. The Farmhouse is one of those spots you'll remember forever. Sitting on the sun porch and gazing out at the lush green lawn and beautiful sunshine, we sipped on the Berry Bramble, which was blackberry forward cocktail with the right balance of sweet from the fruit and spice from the ginger. This one is definitely refreshing! Our favorite cocktail of the day was the Everlasting Lemonade. This patio sitting sipper mixes lemonade and tart strawberries together into a slightly sweet and tart drink. Reminiscent of long summer days in the south, we'd recommend this one to anyone. Starting with a pair of appetizers, we sampled the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and Hudson Valley Foie Gras Terrine. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio starts out with rich, tender beef brightened up with a fantastic, creamy truffle cream, earthy and crunchy capers, plus some deep truffle oil. As you roll around all the ingredients together on your fork, you get a good mix of meaty, creamy, earthy, and a little bit of crunch from the lettuce grown right on the grounds. On the other hand, the Hudson Valley Fois Gras Terrine combines meaty foie gras, tangy and bright dried fruit compote, and an amazing wine-tasting Riesling jelly. What's amazing out this bite is that it tastes like a gourmet peanut butter and jelly! We'd recommend piling all the ingredients on the toast for the best bite! For our entrees, we were treated to the divine Double-cut Pork Chop and an amazing Herb Encrusted Lamb Rack. The Double-cut Pork Chop is simply perfection of a pork chop being juicy, thick, and well-seasoned. The meat is so good, that the accoutrements are just icing of the cake. They're just as special with sweet, creamy, and chunky grits mixing with the tangy and rustic collards and the apple adds a well-rounded brightness to the overall rich dish. When we say divine, we mean heavenly for sure! Needless to say, with how good the pork chop is, we were floored by Liz's favorite, the Herb Encrusted Lamb Rack. Starting with the tender and succulent lamb perfectly cooked and adorned with mustard and herbs for a tangy, crunchy, and earthy bite. We cannot begin to describe the explosion of flavors this lamb brings. On top of that, the rutabaga puree beneath is sweet and creamy, the root vegetables are earthy, all mixing with the hearty lamb sauce and jus create an unimaginable bite. This dish will always be one of the best we've ever had, well, ever. Being so full, we did save a little room for the Lemon Cake & Blueberry Compote. We love our lemon desserts and cakes. The cake itself was moist, yet dense that went so well with the thick, light icing, and the blueberries around it. The light and not over-sweet bite we needed to end our experience at The Farmhouse at Serenbe. As the sun set over the rolling farmland, it splashed purples, blues, and pinks into the sky. If you ever need a little day trip or getaway just outside of Atlanta, this is your spot! Can't wait to get back and try even more of their restaurants and spend a night in the Inn! If you could go to Serenbe would you?

Lea C.

Yelp
We had such a nice visit to the Inn and Serenbe this weekend. Hotel was comfy (separate review)- and we had booked dinner in the restaurant for date night. I've included the menu as well. There is a happy hour from 4-6p and all drinks are two for one! My hubby has the short rib and it was fabulous. I had the mahi and while it was good- it was a bit cool temp- veggies were really good and fresh from the garden. Great farm to table experience. Definitely worth a visit. If you'd like to see full details of the entire visit, you can check out videos and such at https://gotravellife.com/2018/06/24/exploring-georgia-serenbe-weekend-getaway-june-2018/

Yelp
What an absolutely great experience! A couple of dear friends moved to the area in March of this year. They were under construction and renovations so they have really not had company until they invited us to drinks and dinner. We had a 7pm reservation, and we were seated promptly. The drinks were fantastic, the food was AMAZING and the service was definitely on point. Yes, everyone in the negative reviews gripes that it's expensive. It is pricey, but I believe you get what you pay for. This isn't a place (due to price) that I could eat at every week, but for special occasions and a "treat". Both of us couples had the tuna tartare which was outstanding. I had the duck which was beyond incredible. It came with a flavorful ragout style of beans with smoked andouille. The duck was a large portion (4 medallions). Duck is one of my favorite splurges so I kind of judge the restaurant on my duck entree lol. One of the guys had the pork chop which he loved, my husband had the scallops which he raved about and the last one in our party got the steak. The steak was HUGE, cooked perfectly and was devoured. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place. Charming, ample parking, very very clean, and a great experience.

Jamie G.

Yelp
Another one of my favorites! Hearty meals! Locally sourced food. Happy hour amazing! Staff, Amazing! Food, Amazing! We frequent the farmhouse for lunch, dinner and/or happy hour. Definitely would recommend. Will be back for sure. Pics are of some meals we've had within the last few months/year.

Simone B.

Yelp
Blonde bartender (so sorry I forget her name, has 2 sons) is the best bartender we have ever had. Great conversation, great attention to detail, great drinks, great personality. This bar is the place to be! Secret items too. Visit it!

Donny H.

Yelp
Really good food and a nice environment. Also in an idyllic location at Serenbe with outdoor seating.

Kristi C.

Yelp
While at our work meetings over the last several years we've had the opportunity to have dinner at The Farmhouse. The food and service are always, consistently fantastic. Greta service as well.

Brad P.

Yelp
We were we're a large group staying over a weekend in mid -May. Our main waitress, Pam was awesome. She anticipated our requests and never failed to exceed expectations. The food was awesome, too!

Gregory R.

Yelp
Very charming farm house! The food and Ambiance was stellar. You will not regret going to The Farmhouse.

Jin K.

Yelp
Our dinner experience was very nice at the Farmhouse for our first meal in Serenbe over a 2-night stay. We scored an early dinner reservation by calling the restaurant directly (online booking systems weren't showing any options but they were wide open when i called) and were seated right away upon checking in. The entire staff from host, to service, to chefs, and house manager were all very welcoming and friendly. Because many of the ingredients are sourced straight from Serenbe Farms, the menu changes often. For our visit, we ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed all of them. Some dishes were more memorable than others, but all in all, a great well-rounded meal with super fresh ingredients. Our favorites of the evening were: butternut squash soup, crab fritter appetizer, short rib entree, and oh my Lord the butter pecan pie and ice cream dessert option was totally worth the extra calories. We were advised by locals to order the fried chicken if available; unfortunately it wasn't for our visit, BUT the did have chicken tenders as an option for a kids meal and those tenders were delicious. Crunchy on the outside, but tons of flavor and moisture on the inside. The kids meal also came with house-made kettle chips and a side of fruit, which turned out to be delicious seasonal berries and not the usual filler crap fruit like melons and apples. Yes! Complimentary fresh bread and butter were served to start and our server, Olivia, was sweet enough to give everyone in our party one extra after she saw that we devoured ours. (Or rather our kids.) Service started off at a great pace but as the evening got busier with more guests, it definitely slowed to a crawl. Luckily we weren't in any rush and our kids were behaving so it wasn't a big deal. If possible, I'd request to be seated in the patio room -- there's a ton of natural light during the day/early evening and the main dining room, where we sat in the very middle was a bit dark and right under the air vent which was blasting cold air on us. All-in-all, a very enjoyable dinner at Serenbe, which I thought was fair on price considering the quality of ingredients, and I didn't feel like a glutton even after bread, appetizers, entree, and dessert. Definitely a must-do in Serenbe.

Felicia J.

Yelp
Excellent! I lived my food, my husbands food, the people sitting next to us.....everything looked amazing. I'm so bummed they don't have one in Atlanta.

John M.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Serenbe. We can feed the mini-farm animals after a meal in a location where the whole 'farm-to-table' and 'sustainable, wellness community started by Steve Nygren and family nearly 20 yrs ago. Learn more at https://serenbe.com.

Pepper B.

Yelp
Tonight my wife and I hosted three other couples for a private dinner at The Farmhouse at The Serenbe Inn outside of Atlanta. Before the evening is over I wanted to give Chef Brian Moll and crew a loud shout out for an unforgettable dinner. The service team led by Clay coordinate a family style plating of the entire menu for the eight of us. The meal preparation was exquisite and the farm to table organic vegetables from The Serenbe Farms took our evening over the top. Thank you to Joni Floyd, Juliann West and Brandon Blanchard. So grateful to live in a community with a gift like The Farmhouse. We'll be back.

Mary D.

Yelp
My family and I were SO excited to try this place for dinner while weekending in Serenbe. It came highly recommended by many but we were so disappointed. The atmosphere and views are beautiful. We were seated immediately after arriving for our reservation. The servers and staff were excellent- friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The drinks came out quickly and we were offered more but be warned they are quite strong. We were seated in the sunroom and it was unbearably hot. I understand it's mid-July however, we were sweating profusely the entire time and so uncomfortable. We finally asked for glasses of ice just to attempt to cool down. I love the farm-to-table concept however, the options were so limited and you're screwed if you're like us and don't eat seafood. I was forced to order the most expensive item on the menu, which was awful. The kitchen was so slow it took an hour and a half after ordering to make our 3 entrees and the restaurant was only halfway occupied. Luckily, the server warned us of the kitchen backup so we weren't left hanging. The food was fine- hot and plated nicely however my steak was so fatty and bloody I could only take two bites. The cooked spinach was cold. The chocolate torte dessert was good at least. After a 3 hour dinner, I left hungry, sweaty and out almost $400. Don't waste your time or money. We won't be back!

The highlight of my experience here was a special lady named Pam who took our order to-go and went out of her way to accommodate us. She was so kind, helpful and inviting- a great bubbly personality and infectious smile. The salad and truffle fries were great too...but I'd mostly return because of Pam's great service!

Yelp
We came down to Serenbe specifically to go to this restaurant that totes a health conscious fine dining experience. We were totally shocked that there were no vegan options or that the staff had any idea of what a vegan lifestyle includes. We ordered a vegetable plate and a salad. The veggies were drenched in butter and doused in table salt. My salad came small with buttered croutons and goat cheese. I had one mimosa and our bill was $50. Needless to say we cancelled our reservations for that evening and cut our losses. I do want to mention that all staff at Serenbe are phenomenal with their service. Everyone is kind and gracious. We also did order a couple of drinks at the bar and the bartender was spot on. We loved the cocktails that we ordered which were Bee Sting and a bourbon drink w Ginger Beer and Jam. We did try an appetizer of patatas bravas and they tasted prepped and popped in the oven. They were not crispy as we have experienced them before. We thought since everything was fried there that they would nail it but they were mediocre at best.

Yelp
Their steak is probably one of the best you can get!! I had Tenderloin, medium-rare... it was cooked to perfection!! Well marinated, full of flavour, tender and juicy!! The place is about 45 minutes drive from Atlanta. A nice place with beautiful landscape and great food!!

Yelp
Th Farmhouse is one of two main restaurants in Serenbe, located inside the Inn at Serenbe. We called a couple days in advance for a reservation for a party of 5 on a Saturday night, however there seemed to be open tables so I don't think it's difficult to get in. At a high level, the service was friendly, although the food came out pretty slow. And my party all generally agreed most of the dishes we had were a bit underwhelming. Specifically things lacked a lot of flavor. I started with the vanilla pistachio mule which tasted very close to a standard Moscow mule. I tried tasting vanilla and pistachio and was unable to make out either of those flavors. From the snacks menu, we had the feta jalapeño popcorn, which really just tasted over seasoned or over salted. I couldn't taste any distinct feta or jalapeño tastes. We also shared the meat and cheese plate which had smaller portions of each than I expected. For my entree, I had the pork belly which was good but very fatty. I believe that's common for pork belly but not entirely sure. The pairing of pork belly and peaches was very nice, as the acidity of the peaches balanced out the fatty flavors from the pork. Another person had the risotto and added the 10 dollar shaved truffles on top and the truffles were extremely mild. Since there aren't many options close by, you'll probably end up here regardless. Overall I'd recommend the pork and the flank steak (which my husband said he enjoyed).

Yelp
I was lucky to participate in a women's retreat at serenbe. We had breakfast at the farmhouse each morning. Even with a silly group of 14 women barely behaving, Pam was flawless. She made us feel like family. Waiting on a group like us is a challenge, but she handled it in stride. The food was lovely, there was always something for everyone. (And when there wasn't something on the menu for dietary needs, they would make us a special dish!). The restaurant was great, but this review is really for Pam. She took such good care of us, going to see her everyday was a treat! If you see this, thank you so much Pam! We gushed over how well you handled our big silly group all weekend. Look forward to visiting you again soon.

Yelp
I don't understand any of the bad reviews here. Maybe there was different owner or chef at the time? All I know is that my family had an incredible dinner at The Farmhouse this weekend. The foie gras was incredible. The steak was perfectly prepared and the risotto was delicious. Ended the night with a really great chocolate crème brûlée. The cocktails were also exquisite. Didn't rely on a ton of simple syrup to mask cheap alcohol. Just the good stuff and it was really good. Our server was delightful and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was really attentive and contributed to a really special night out with the family.

Yelp
Chef Nic and his team are absolutely amazing. I can honestly say I've NEVER had a bad dish from their kitchen. Despite Clay not being there, Candice was excellent as our server. Our friends who've never visited thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the ambiance, and of course the people. I AM A SERENBE EVANGELIST, yes. But I would challenge you to visit them and prove me wrong.

Yelp
We spent 4 nights at Serenbe on New Years package that included breakfast and New Years dinner this year. The room pkg came with "gourmet delicacies" from the kitchen which essentially ended up being brie, White cheddar, crackers and fruit. Breakfast was fairly tasteless with the same minimal choices every day. The rooms were nice but there was no room cleaning service the whole time we were there. New Years dinner had minimal choice. We had the Buffalo steaks, which were perfectly cooked. Dinner overall was very good and service was excellent but it was seriously over priced at $175 per person. We got there early so no need for the champagne to be included. Room pkg seemed over priced slightly for minimal room service, a bar that closed early and basically no other entertainment on site. I would save your money to spend on 4 nights in Mexico at an all inclusive resort where you can bask in the sun, hear mariachi, enjoy libations at the pool and dance the night away. Not impressed with Serenbe Inn or The Farmhouse.

Yelp
The Farmhouse is a fantastic restaurant to go to at least once a month! (Wanna know why?! Because the menu changes MONTHLY!) it's incredibly delicious and so fresh! The atmosphere is phenomenal, you can literally see the kitchen and the cooks cooking. MAKE A RESERVATION! There is seating on the porch and large tables for big groups. I won't recommend food as it the menu changes but rest assured whatever you order will be delicious! Great spot for intimate dinner! It's out a little way from the city and on a dirt road (so no you're not lost when your GPS takes you)

Yelp
I have been reviewing on Yelp for years this is by far the most over priced place I have gone to. Thanksgiving dinner should not be $75 a person for Cracker Barrel quality food. I will never return to this rip off

Yelp
Business dinner with 5. Great drinks and food options. The house is interesting with lots of depth and history. Server CiCi is amazing! Definitely recommend dinner and a visit.

Yelp
I usually come for happy hour. I went to this place one weekend with my mom sister and grandma for dinner. It was very nice. There's only one vegetarian option which kind of stinks considering this is a farm to table restaurant!! Although our server was really nice service was extremely slow. I definitely would not recommend this place if you have any type of time limit. Other than that it was really nice. We wanted to sit outside but the patio is closed to a private event. They spaced us inside very well, it seemed Covid safe. Members of the table really enjoyed the salmon and I believe lamb dish. I come to serenbe about one timer month so I'll return.
