The Best Of The Rest: 28 More New London Restaurants We Loved This Year - London - The Infatuation

"This huge modern boozer in Camden’s Stables is serving an excellent tomahawk steak, as well as a roast dinner with all the trimmings. A very useful spot to know about in NW1." - jake missing, rianne shlebak

Where To Eat Before Or After A Gig In Camden - London - The Infatuation

"Depending on who you’ve paid to see this evening, the words ‘converted horse hospital’ will either sound very punk or somewhat alarming. Remain calm, because The Farrier—a converted horse hospital inside Camden Stables that looks like the lovechild of a modern public house and your mate’s barn wedding—is really very charming. Despite it technically having pub status, you shouldn’t dismiss the food here. Whether you’re swinging by pre or post gig, you’ll find quality seasonal British ingredients from fresh Cornish crab to 28-day-aged beef alongside natural wine and a winning negroni. Just be aware that they close earlier on a Monday and Tuesday." - heidi lauth beasley

On our recent date night, my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting a charming venue that left a lasting impression on us. The ambiance and setting of the place were truly delightful, setting the perfect tone for our evening. We were pleasantly surprised by the polite and friendly demeanor of the staff, who added to the overall positive experience. The food served to us was nothing short of exceptional, and the service was impeccable. Our evening was truly enjoyable, thanks to the delectable dishes and top-notch service. The only minor issue we had was with the pricing, which we found to be on the higher side. However, we were more than willing to pay for the real quality and deliciousness of the food, which left us with nothing to complain about. Overall, our date night at this venue was a memorable and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sophisticated and enjoyable dining experience.

Just completed another two night stay at 'The Farrier'. We've lost count of the amount of our stays and restaurant visits, but this boutique hotel/restaurant is the best without a seed out doubt. We travel and visit hotels/restaurants both for business and pleasure purposes on a regular basis and nothing comes close to this establishment.||The Hotel itself, furnishings, decor, rooms, beds, bedding, attention to detail, toiletries, the little touches - complimentary toothbrushes/shaving razor/room spray/cotton wool/buds/chocolates to name but a few is not the norm and is outstanding. Every part of the hotel/grounds is immaculate and scrupulously clean.||The restaurant food is simply beautiful, impeccable and delicious and does not compare to other restaurants. It should be noted that all of the food, starters/mains/desserts is cooked fresh to order from scratch not pre-cooked and re-heated like the majority of restaurants these days so as the saying goes 'Patience is a virtue'. Sit back, relax and enjoy !||The members of staff/family are also the making of 'The Farrier'. Everyone is so polite, helpful, courteous and personable. We can not fathom the odd minute negative (sometimes ridiculous) reviews that have been posted on Google and Trip Advisor.||It should also be noted that these are incredulously difficult times for all businesses in this current economic climate due to running costs/other factors etc. These precious places should be |cherished.||We highly recommend The Farrier, you won't be disappointed.|Enjoy!! We look forward to seeing you again in December. Until then, thank you again for your hospitality - a most memorable and thoroughly enjoyed visit once more. Keep doing what you do best, never change, keep your heads held high !||Take care.|Love Denise & Justin xx

Visited The Farrier for Sunday dinner and from the moment we arrived we were well looked after. Started with a drink at the gin bar upstairs and a look at the menu. Within 15 minutes we were being shown to our table. The food was amazing and the service likewise. Nothing we asked for too much. Highly recommended. Next visit will be to sample the new lunch menu.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at The Farrier, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. The staff were outstanding throughout the entire day. Everything ran so smoothly and it was clear that they genuinely cared about making the day special. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and plentiful. You could tell a lot of thought and attention to detail had gone into it. The atmosphere at The Farrier is something else; it manages to feel both elegant and relaxed at the same time. It created such a lovely environment for everyone to enjoy themselves. All in all, The Farrier was the perfect setting for what was an unforgettable wedding day. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue!

We had our wedding at The Farrier and we can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. We have always enjoyed going for meals and so when we needed to find a wedding venue it was a no brainer to speak to them. Natalie the coordinator was absolutely amazing and nothing was ever too much to ask. We hired the upstairs and had around 65 guests with the buffet option. The food was great and so many people commented on how good it was. They paid so much attention to detail and we barely noticed them turning the room around after the ceremony. The whole day felt relaxed which is all down to their amazing staff. Also, their rooms are absolutely stunning! Thank you so much to Natalie, Dani and the team for making our wedding day so special.

We aren't local but if in the area we often book in for a meal as we love the Sunday lunches here and the desserts are always outstanding. I love the equestrian theme of the whole place and it's really well thought out with some quality touches. We decided to stay over for a bit of a treat and it meant we could make the most of the cocktail bar upstairs. The room was in the main building and really comfortable with a large bed, seating area and walk in shower. Nice little touches like a coffee machine and cosmetic amenities. I was a bit worried about the rooms being above the restaurant as I'm a light sleeper but the rooms are really quiet and we couldn't hear a thing from our neighbours or the bar areas. Breakfast was served between 8.30 and 09.30 and is cooked to order. The one lady serving seemed to be really struggling on her own. We had a full English and eggs benedict which were both really good.

The restaurant & bar is a lovely place to sit & relax. The food is out of this world & the service is amazing, nothing too much trouble. Had i known the size of the carpark,I would of come in my smaller car but other than that I would definitely come back again👌
