The 14 Best Restaurants In Camden

"You might think that suggesting a Camden Stables pub as the area’s go-to is a bit of a cop out, but this modern boozer has a lot more going on than pints and people-watching. The cosy, rustic barn feel makes it perfect for cuffing season kisses and casual group gossip sessions over huge braised steak pies and a round of cider-soaked mussels. The menu reads like a who's who of quality seasonal British ingredients. Outside of Jersey royals and Cornish crab scotch eggs, you can also expect Negronis featuring local gins and 28-day-aged beef as part of the hefty Sunday roast." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Where To Eat Before Or After A Gig In Camden - London - The Infatuation

"Depending on who you’ve paid to see this evening, the words ‘converted horse hospital’ will either sound very punk or somewhat alarming. Remain calm, because The Farrier—a converted horse hospital inside Camden Stables that looks like the lovechild of a modern public house and your mate’s barn wedding—is really very charming. Despite it technically having pub status, you shouldn’t dismiss the food here. Whether you’re swinging by pre or post gig, you’ll find quality seasonal British ingredients from fresh Cornish crab to 28-day-aged beef alongside natural wine and a winning negroni. Just be aware that they close earlier on a Monday and Tuesday. " - Heidi Lauth Beasley

The Farrier - Review - Camden - London - The Infatuation

"Our favourite place in Camden is The Farrier. Now you might think that suggesting a Camden Stables pub as the area’s go-to is a bit of a cop out but this modern boozer has a lot more going on than pints and people-watching. A rustic converted horse hospital—yes, really—the cosy barn feel makes it perfect for cuffing season kisses and casual group gossip sessions over huge braised steak pies and a round of cider-soaked mussels. There’s nothing slap-dash about the cooking here and the menu reads like a who's who of quality seasonal British ingredients. The Best Of The Rest: 28 More New London Restaurants We Loved This Year

"This huge modern boozer in Camden’s Stables is serving an excellent tomahawk steak, as well as a roast dinner with all the trimmings. A very useful spot to know about in NW1." - jake missing, rianne shlebak

Wowza what a Sunday roast this was! Food was really good. The best I've had since I've been in the UK for the past 20 years. Food was hot portions were amazing. One little thing, a service girl was a bit rude to us! My feeling is she was a trainee but her attitude was stinking. All good except the service girl. Hostess were polite and friendly since we got the table late. She did an amazing job. Kudos to the team and the chef.

Loved our Sunday roast here! Brings back great memories and was really well done. We had the standard roast beef and the chicken, both cooked to perfection. Gravy and all the sides were delicious (esp the glazed veg - amazing with the roasted bitter tips and the sweet glaze). Yorkshire puddings were great to sop up the gravy. Sticky toffee pudding to end was a great cap to the meal. Ambiance was very nice, and service was quick and friendly.

We went to The Farrier Pub to get a Sunday roast( an English tradition we wanted to try out as tourists). The place seemed a bit understaffed, especially given that it was a bank holiday weekend, but the service, when we could get it, was decent. Since this was my first Sunday roast, I'm not sure how it compares with other locations, but it was good but not mind blowing (but can British food be that anyway).

Been here for Sunday roast and I have to say it was one of the best ever. The beef was amazing, tender as butter! The place is also very nice and the stuff is professional. The only downside is a 12,5% service charge which seems a bit too high as it meant 9 pound more on a 74 pound bill, this practice is becoming every day more common in London, though.

This place serves good honest food, simple ingredients done well. The lunch menu was limited and mainly vegetable based but execution was to a high standard. Saying that we did have the sirloin steak and it was delicious. Nice interesting wines also; We're going again, with our friends!!

Had Sunday roast at The Farrier today, and the value for money was fantastic! The portions were huge, especially the Ribeye, which was meant for 2 but could easily feed 3. There was a great selection of roasts, which was perfect for our group with different dietary preferences. One of the best Sunday roasts I have had so far.

Truly a hidden gem tucked away into the corner of Camden Market- the former horse hospital now converted into a neighbourhood pub boasts a wide selection of cocktails and an array of delicious small plates and traditional pub grub. Also offers an absolutely cracking pint of Guinness too.

Lovely Sunday roast. I took my mum for an early mother’s day roast. I got the venison roast and my mum got the ham. She was extremely happy and said its one of the best roasts she’s had! The roast potatoes were to die for!! It was a lovely atmosphere, the staff were pleasant and quick to serve us. The venue is beautiful with a very authentic feel. My only criticism was it was a bit breezy with the door being open.
