We came here for family dinner. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations we had for a steakhouse. It was average at best, with no real “wow” factor. The restaurant’s strict reservation policy also caught us off guard—if you’re late or don’t show, they charge a no-show fee of $30 per diner. While I understand it’s meant to cover losses, it feels a bit rigid and not customer-friendly.
When we sat down, we were handed two mugs of popcorn as a snack and offered cold water for our glasses. We ordered 2 sets of the Feast Set for two, and the first dishes to arrive were the 2 plates of miso scallops (antipasti). The portion was tiny—just one bite, and it was gone. For the price, it’s honestly not worth it. And to be honest, since it is a feast for two, the clam chowder soup just came as 1 bowl, to share or not to share, this will be quite embarrassing if it is a dating couple.
The service was disappointing. For a large group, the waiters should have automatically brought out serving plates. Instead, we were forced to eat the antipasti directly from the food plate, which felt really awkward. It’s something that should be standard practice. We had to ask for serving plates, which just made the experience feel clumsy and impersonal.
To top it off, the waiter made a mistake with our order, bringing out an extra plate of scallops instead of the grilled burratina we requested. Luckily, we hadn’t started eating yet, and they corrected the error, but it added to the feeling of disorganization.
The place was also extremely noisy—the music was blasted so loud it was really hard to have a conversation without raising our voices. It felt uncomfortable trying to talk over the music.
The only saving grace of the meal was the wagyu steak, the grilled burratina, and their signature matcha tiramisu. These were genuinely good and stood out in an otherwise underwhelming meal.
All in all, the combination of lackluster food, poor service, loud noise, and the no-show policy left us feeling like this place wasn’t worth the hype or the price
