"Appropriate naming for the cutest little 'shack' you've ever seen. Located behind the Fickle Pickle off Canton Street, Sugar Shack serves up a strong mix of staple sweets (like their red velvet cupcakes) and signature goodness, like their ooey gooey breakfast biscuits (weekends only) and s'more donuts. Sugar Shack offers Counter Culture coffee and many staple espresso drinks. For a break in your breakfast routine or a needed afternoon pick-me-up, check them out." - Nimble. Design Co.

"Funny name, killer pickles. The Fickle Pickle is a must-try spot for lunch. Of course you must try a signature order of fried pickles, but the menu includes several southern faves - fried green tomato sandwiches and salads, pimento cheese + bacon sandwiches, and more. Set in a converted house on Canton Street, The Fickle Pickle will melt your heart with deliciousness (oh, Stephen)." - Nimble. Design Co.

Google
Pretty good sandwich shop with a few dessert options. Fairly good size portions too. There was about a 10 minute wait in line to the counter but you can pre-order online if in a hurry.

Google
Come here all the time with my wife and if family is in town! This place rocks everytime I’ve been here. I try and get something different each time and am in awe each time! I always forget to get a picture of the Shrimp burger which is one of the best I have ever had! Highly recommend this place ! The owners are extremely nice and the staff are great

Google
The food is delicious; the staff are very kind and friendly and the food comes out so quick. Very fresh and unique flavor. If you want a great taste with fast service and a beautiful scene, go there🌹 highly recommend

Google
Great sandwich shop with excellent food and nice charm in the middle of downtown Roswell. I have wanted to try this place for a while but it’s always so busy I keep avoiding it. I now see why people like it so much! They have a small but diverse menu with hot and cold sandwiches plus soups and salads. I had the smoked turkey sandwich and it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the combination of bread and topping was done perfectly. We sat outside and enjoyed the first days of fall while people watching which is the perfect Canton Street activity. I will definitely be back to try other selections. Even though it was busy today as well I was pleased at how quickly we got through the line and even more pleased with how quickly we got our food.

Google
Had a great lunch here. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Great use of space. Staff was friendly! The Fickle Pickle is clean and organized. The menu has a great variety as well as their daily specials. We loved our sandwiches and whole experience today!

Google
Fun place to eat! If you've never had fried pickles, you're in for a treat ! A must to order. I had the grilled chicken with sweet potato fries. It's a hoping place on a Saturday. Its in the heart of old Roswell surrounded by fun shops.

Google
One of the very best lunch spots in all of Roswell. There is not a single bad item on their menu. The fried pickles are a necessity, the Shrimp burger is to die for, the Ooey Gooey is great, the Cuban rocks, their old bay chicken sandwich is very tasty, the Caribbean clam chowder is a must. Seriously 5/5 food. Be prepared for NO parking and a line, it’s worth it.

Google
If you think Subway is the best, then don't go here. The quality, taste, and great atmosphere will he wasted on you. Photos are the Chicken Salad (the best) and Brie BLT.

Ann S.

Yelp
Delicious! Great location! I ordered the Tuna Melt. I recommend that and the cajun fried pickles. My friend got the Brie BLT. It's her favorite! Im trying that next time!

Anna V.

Yelp
Very good! Had the Brie BLT and tomato soup. Everything tasted really fresh and didn't take too long

John G.

Yelp
Love the pickle offerings. The sandwiches are good as well. Nice location in Roswell.

Yelp
We used Uber Eats and tried this restaurant for the first time. It was absolutely good. We had the Chicken & Avocado sandwich w/french fries and the Spicy Charleston Chicken sandwich w/coleslaw. I would order again.

Pamela C.

Yelp
Wow, amazing place. Great food choices, prices reasonable, very flavorful. He makes his own sauces for the different sandwiches. Staff were kind and respectful. Great find!

Derek H.

Yelp
Awesome quality and ambiance. Nice service. Overall good variety and decent menu. Location is great as well.

Yelp
Great little gem in downtown Roswell for lunch. Parking can get crowded so get there early if you can. It is a cute little house converted to a restaurant with outdoor seating too. The menu has interesting options with a southern Cajun flair. Their fried pickles with remoulade sauce are outstanding. I have yet to find better fried pickles. Their ooey gooey sandwich is a great pimento cheese, bacon and red pepper jelly on grilled sourdough bread. I also enjoy the spicy Charleston chicken with old bay seasoning and sweet pickles. I would skip the wedge salad and get potato salad or sweet potato fries next time.

Karen B.

Yelp
Love finding new spots to eat. We've been on the hunt for unique sandwiches...Finally found them at The Fickle Pickle! The potato salad was really good, quite unique, reminded of our cucumber dill salad we make, so refreshing on a hot day. The sweet potato fries were the best I've EVER had, seriously! And I got a ton of them. The spicy Charleston chicken sandwich was fantastic. The chicken was crispy, the spice level was on point, and everything worked together, would get this on again. The creole Cuban was very moist, but it needed something, a bit too bland for my taste. Maybe some a spicier sauce? The real star you won't want to skip are the fried pickles. I cannot believe as a pickle lover, I've gone 50 years without trying them, I'm hooked! Even my husband who is not that much of a fan of pickles, ate as many as I did. The batter was crispy, homemade pickles were sweet, and that spicy remoulade was pure perfection. Service was quick, tons of seating since they have an extra building in the back and outdoor spots in the shade. It's in a quaint old home that reminded of the old tea house near us that closed. We will be back again soon.

Yelp
I wanna love this place, really. I'm going to be in the minority here, but honestly, I don't think it's that great. I know lots of people love this place, but when I went back recently, it wasn't the place I remembered from awhile back. This place is super quaint, running out of an old, historic house. It's very popular for lunch as the line and the small, gravel lot fills up shortly after they open at 11. If you drive into the lot and find it full, good luck backing out. It's tight. In case you miss the signs, there's additional parking at Osteria Mattone. I was pretty excited about the cuban thinking ... a place with pickle in the name serving a sandwich that has good pickle presence ... should be legit. It was good, decent. The creole thing gave it a nice punch. It's just not a cuban. Not on the right bread, not the right kind of pork, etc. The coleslaw I ordered was less like salad and more like soup. Tuna melt was good but again nothing epic. Potato salad definitely not my favorite. Now, I will say those fried pickles breaded in cornmeal and deep-fried are worth coming for. Delicious!

William M.

Yelp
I visit this place every five weeks or so for take out for me and my wife. The sandwiches are always great.

Andrew C.

Yelp
We stopped at the Fickle Pickle for a sandwich while walking through Old Town Roswell Georgia. It's located in an old house on Canton St about two blocks North of Alpharetta Hwy. The menu is unique and creative. We had the Brie BLT, the Creole Cuban, and an order of fried pickles. All were unique and delicious. The panini-pressed BLT w/ gooey brie was fantastic. A worthy twist on a classic. The creole sauce on the Cuban was really good too. The sides were fantastic too. Really good potato salad, and the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The fried pickles were very, very good as well. Crispy, and hot, their homemade pickles had a great tang to them. A side of all their pickles was served along with the lunch: dill, cajun, bread and butter, and sweet little devils. I am not a fan of sweet pickles normally, but these were really, really good. A great lunch all in all. We will definitely be back.

John J.

Yelp
Great food, great service and great outdoor seating. Had one of the best BLT's I've ever had - the sourdough is cooked perfect, the bs on tastes awesome and the tomatoes sweet. Great sandwich overall.

Denise R.

Yelp
This is one of the first restaurants I frequented when I moved to the area and I have been back countless times since then. Let's talk about location - it's located in downtown Roswell and is an old house converted into a restaurant. There are tables in each of the rooms and tons of patio space on the side and back (looks like the have a party area too). I have enjoyed sitting both in and outside, but always choose outside when the weather is nice. The food - OMG. Soooooo good. My absolute favorite is the Brie BLT panini. I have ventured out to other sandwich options, but always come back to this one. Also - the fresh potato chips (with blue cheese). They are a huge splurge for me and delicious. I'm not fond of pickles, but I'm told by my pickle-eating friends that the sampler is also to-die-for. Parking can be tight sometimes, but I always seem to find a place. And not to worry ... I will be back and back. It's one of my favorite cozy spots for lunch.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Go early or late afternoon - not during rush time The parking is on-site but limited. Be ready for some tricky maneuvering if you're parking there We got a pickle plate starter...I love pickles but we usually eat them AFTER our meals (don't ask). They were delicious though - a good size to share with four or more though - 2 people eating that many pickles is just weird, but we did it anyway. I got the salmon salad. Delicious. My husband got the chicken salad on the croissant. It was ordinary, nothing super special about it but it was good. The fried pickle chips are good too...they're not ity bity, which is always nice. You get a good amount of pickle with the breading. Anyway, one of our lunchtime favs.

Morgan C.

Yelp
Adoringly yummy food! My lunch was simply delicious 10/10 charming little spot in downtown Roswell!

Katie W.

Yelp
We went late so parking was not an issue. It was our first time. I went thinking a southern restaurant associated with a pickle would have a great fried chicken sandwich. They had one, but it was spicy. No! I ended ordering chicken salad on croissant with fries. The sandwich was good, but the star of my plate was the fries. Perfection! My husband got a roast beef sandwich and coleslaw. He said it was good, but kept eating my fries. I had more than I could eat so I didn't care. I certainly would go back and try another sandwich. Cute place and parking is a big plus.

Monica M.

Yelp
This place has the best sandwiches, salads, soups and of course fried pickles. We love coming here for the fried pickles and their sandwiches on bakery fresh bread.

Hajja

Yelp
They have a cool pickle in the front so 5 stars apparently I need more characters so hello my name is Hajja form Wakanda that's right I'm white panther

King W.

Yelp
This place is my guilty pleasure! My daughter picks up a lunch from here every once in a while for us to share. I look forward to it everytime. The ooey gooey is my favorite!

Heavyn B.

Yelp
Loved everything. Skip the pickle board tho it's nothing special. But food and service are fantastic. I also love you can eat out back! Feels so homey!

Georgia K.

Yelp
This local spot has been around for years and after finally visiting, I can see why. We got the famous fried pickles and wow, the portion size is HUGE - definitely enough to share. The pickles were well-seasoned and crispy. Be prepared for crowded spaces and a bit of a wait if you go during a busy time (we went for lunch on a weekend). This restaurant is located in a historic house on Canton Street so seating feels close together and parking is very limited. If you want to avoid any headaches try to go before or after a lunch rush time. The pickle theming is so unique so make sure to take a picture with the pickle at the front entrance! The food here is good but I'm usually hesitant about returning because the space inside is so small and it can a hassle toget there.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Great as always. I've been coming here since I was young and always enjoy the experience. For those unfamiliar, the guidelines for ordering posted on the menu are very helpful for anxious people like myself. Outdoor seating is fantastic, and indoor ambiance is very cute and nostalgic. Not sure if they still do the carrot cake cookie, but trust I'll be coming back to look for it

RJ F.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance. Staff and owner very friendly and knew their menu. Wait time was minimal. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. Cocktails were strong and delicious too. Five star service and food. Will definitely return.

M K.

Yelp
All I really have to say is that the food is freakin' amazing! My food was ready when I got there. The only thing I would improve on is the parking. Will be back, again! Haha

Steve V.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty full. Their main parking lot was full, but their overflow parking right across the street had plenty of spots. Beware that it is a rough gravel lot, with lots of potholes. We got in line and waited about 10 minutes to order at the counter. Once we got our number, it was no problem finding a table as there are plenty both inside and outside and the turnover is pretty rapid. We started with the hot potato chips, made in-house with blue cheese dressing. It was delicious and was a good start to the meal. I got the horseradish beef sandwich, which was a cold sandwich and so good. It came on a fresh baked sourdough bread, with crunchy edges and soft middle. For my side, I had the Caribbean clam chowder, which was a different twist on one of my favorites. The coconut flavor was pretty strong in this dish. This would be a great place for a to-go order as well!

Sue S.

Yelp
Menu items are pricey portions are adequate Tables often dirty Limited hours no evening hours

Sandra H.

Yelp
It didn't disappoint we all enjoyed our sandwiches, it's our 3rd or 4th visit so the only thing missing was the pickle

S. T.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for lunch! Everything is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and the service has always been great! Personal favorite dishes include the Ooey Gooey, Asian Salmon Salad, Brie BLT and fried pickles!!

Ryan C.

Yelp
Great service and yummy sandwiches. I had the pimento cheese sandwich and tater tots.

Ronnie M.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, clean, and had "outdoor (tented) dining sent up with heaters for a cold morning. I had a pastrami and my wife had the Charleston Hot, both were outstanding! Server brought sandwiches to our table and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Young lady taking our order was nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Scott L.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years and the food is quite good but today I was disappointed to see that the amount of "protein," roast beef, on my sandwich was dramatically less than in visits past. However, I noticed that my bill wasn't dramatically less so disappointed in the changes the Fickle Pickle has made. They also don't offer straws anymore which I get for environmental reasons but it's a cost saver for the business, much like the reduced meat on the sandwiches. The food is still good, especially the peach tea, but it's pricey and it's not what it used to be. I'll be back, but less often.

Aaron A.

Yelp
Making our way through the restaurants on Canton, this is a small deli we came to after biking Big Creek nearby. The fried pickles, french fries, tomato basil soup, and chicken tenders are actually fairly good and seasoned well. The chicken tenders have a nice crunch to them, the tomato basil soup had a sweet taste to it, and who doesn't like fried pickles! However, the chili and spicy Charleston sandwich were said to be spicy, but they weren't at all so a bit disappointed with those two items. Maybe the sandwich should be called "spiced" instead of spicy. The chicken and avocado sandwiches were also fairly bland, so quite disappointed with those. 2.5 stars.

Cameron S.

Yelp
What a great little café in Downtown Roswell! It's quaint, but also quite busy - which is a testament to the quality of the food they serve. I had the Spicy Charleston Chicken Sandwich and it was FANTASTIC! Great flavor combination with the spicy chicken, pickles, and creole remoulade. My wife had the Brie BLT and it was also VERY good! The customer service was also top notch. After ordering our food, I forgot that I wanted to try the fried pickles. So I stood up from my table and realized the line was now 10-15 people long and waiting in that line to add something to my order was not something I wanted to do. While looking around, an employee noticed I was concerned and asked if I needed anything. I told him I forgot to add something to my order and he said "let me take care of that for you - I'll meet you at the other register". Just like that, I was able to add onto my order without waiting in line again. This is next level service! Not just that he helped me, but that he anticipated that I needed something and proceeded to meet that need. That's how you build brand loyalty!

Meredith C.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant! I've been coming here for over five years now with my family. It is also their favorite go to spot as well. I've never had anything here that was not good. My personal favorites are the ooey gooey, the fried green tomato sandwich, and the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. I love their sweet potato fries as my choice of side, but their wedge salads are also good, and so are their soups. They have amazing customer service! I could go on for days about why they're the best. Be sure to ask for a pickle with your meal as they do not automatically give them, they're sooo good!

Ellen M.

Yelp
Not good. Food was sloppily presented. Noisey, poor parking, prices way too high!wont be bac,

James D.

Yelp
That was delicious. My wife and I stopped in for a pre-holiday sandwich. We had heard good things and finally got to try it out. I had a tuna melt and cup of Caribbean clam chowder. Both were excellent. The bread was pressed and toasted just right. The chowder has a coconut milk base and chunks of clams, corn, tomato bits and other goodies. It has some heat as well. I loved it. My wife had the Brie BLT and tomato basil soup. She loved her meal as well. Servers are there when you need them and friendly. The restaurant is in a house on canton street just north of the main drag. Afterward we went out back to the Sugar Shack to look for desert. This is yet another treat. It's a bakery and coffee shop. We had a couple of lates and chocolate chip cookie and a ginger bread man. This was a great meal and fun spot to visit.

Taylor S.

Yelp
So yum + cute inside. I love the fried green tomato sandwich! I like that they include outdoor seating + service is always great.

Harry G.

Yelp
My wife and I returned after a two year absence. We don't live in Georgia. The chili was clean your bowl good. Of coarse the fried green pickles and homemade potato chips were up to their usual high standards. This time they also had " chocolate ginger cookies, which were lebkuchen, by another name.

Tammy B.

Yelp
Awesome lunch spot in historic Roswell. We been enjoying this place more than 15 years

Michelle H.

Yelp
We've been buying Fickle Pickles since 2015 in the store and by mail for ourselves and as gifts. The pickles have always been terrific and the customer service is top notch! We recently had an order delivered to friends and one jar was broken but the others were fine. I called Fickle Pickle and the owner called me back within 5 minutes and had another order sent out the next business day. Even though it wasn't her fault (the jars are always well-packaged) she couldn't have been more apologetic. We are fans for life, as are my friends who received the second batch unscathed! The pickles themselves are crunchy and the right amount of sweet and tangy, and the spicy pickles have flavor as well as a little heat. You won't be disappointed--and it's sways nice doing business with good people!

Jose B.

Yelp
Took a little trip north of Atlanta to Roswell. We stopped for lunch and found this little place. It's situated in a very old former home (which is beautiful by the way) on the main historical street in old town Roswell. We ordered the Chicken Avocado sandwich and the Southern Reuben Panini. One with sweet potato fries and the other with the potato salad. Both sandwiches were very good, very enjoyable. The sweet potato fries were delicious. If I had to choose I would say the chicken avocado was tastier/fresher and more enjoyable. It's a nice little place for a sandwich!

Niki W.

Yelp
Loved it! Quaint little sandwich shop! We stopped for a quick bite after trailing Vickery Creek! Will def be back!

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Love this place for lunch! Since the pandemic, we've been picking up our orders and they're conveniently placed outside the door on a table for contactless pick up. We haven't had anything bad here. Our must get is the Pickle Plate which comes with a variety of house made pickles for you to sample. It's a perfect little snack as you're waiting for your food and to accompany throughout your meal. We've had many of their sandwiches and they're all been delicious. My favorite sandwiches are the Fried Green Tomato an the Brie BLT. If you're in Roswell this is the perfect spot for lunch!

Lea M.

Yelp
Listen Listen, for years I've been enjoying their sandwiches, same taste, same quality, and th3 same service. If you want the best tasting Roast Beef sandwich with tasty Blue cheese crumbles, onions, arugula mmmmmmmmm you must try this place. 110% perfection always!!!!!!!!

James M.

Yelp
This is a unique little restaurant. The food is excellent! Definitely love the pickle theme !!! Can't wait to go back

Franklin B.

Yelp
Great upscale lunch spot. Comfort food with a gourmet flair. Great burger and fries.Famous chicken salad sandwich always great. Sat out on the porch.

Toni G.

Yelp
Never a bad dish here. Sat out under the tent with huge fans to keep it cool. I'd say go around 130 -200 to beat the lunch rush. Everything was fantastic. Some folks thing 11.00 bucks for a dang sandwich and fries is a lot of $$$.... But it's worth every damn penny!!!

Zeljka P.

Yelp
A MUST try in downtown Roswell! The Fickle Pickle is a cute restaurant nestled in the quaint city of Roswell. I would highly recommend this place for a casual lunch/dinner. The food portions are very generous and so tasty. It can be kind of confusing when you first enter, but all you have to do is place your order at the counter and then pick a seat! I was pleasantly surprised by the vast outdoor seating they had to offer and loved getting to sit under a giant tree at a picnic table to enjoy my lunch on a Saturday afternoon. And if you're a fried pickle fan, or a pickle fan in general, this is the place for you!

Elle Z.

Yelp
Great lunch spot! Service was quick was the food was delicious. I had the bacon Brie sandwich with a Caesar salad. Highly recommend this neighborhood spot!
