From the moment I walked into The Fitz, the ambiance was captivating—warm lighting, a perfect music selection, and an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. Service was top-notch, but what truly made the night memorable was McCalla, the bartender. Her bubbly personality, genuine warmth, and those mesmerizing eyes made every interaction special. She not only served drinks but also created an experience that lingered long after the last sip. If shes behind the bar, run to the Fitz!

Best bar in Fort Lauderdale by far!! This is also the coolest bar and that’s a fact. This is a non touristy incredible drinks, live music (if not live they have great dj music and music videos in the background- yes please!) and atmosphere awesome place. The food truck right there is also really good and lighting inside is very ADD friendly. On top of it all the owner, John, is the nicest guy. Our fav bar in south Florida by far!

My new favorite bar. It’s been a while since I’ve been this impressed with a bars service and general atmosphere. The bartender John was super friendly and attentive even tho he was the only one working a packed bar on a Sunday during football season. The owner came over to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and made us feel like regulars even tho this was our first time here. Honestly, you don’t find bars like this anymore. Super chill, fun, and the drinks were spot on. I recommend the Riverside Mule 🤟 Definitely will be coming back here regularly from now on.

What a fabulous Bar and Lounge. First time there with Jake and Hannah wonderful people. We love this place it just opened and we will be back and we will bring our friends. Great DJ atmosphere is awesome lots of seating and the price is right. Happy hour, the first Tuesday of every month from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Definitely wanna go great crowd. Great prices, great bar, and really nice people.

Love this spot! Dani and Jake are amazing. Drinks and food delicious. Vibes and decor’ on point. Pretty clean bathrooms. Good service and friendly crowd. Parking can be better but will definitely be back.

Nice “Off the beaten path” bar with great drinks! Came in on a Sunday, we were the first ones, bartender was friendly and helpful. The food truck had great bites as well. Will come back during an evening to enjoy!

The Fitz is a COOL BAR - Like advertised. I always have a great time here. McCalla is an amazing bartender and an even better personality. 10/10 recommend a visit here. On Thursdays, they have a fun poker night for gift cards too for something to do.

Amazing craft cocktails, quick and efficient service, and chill laid back crowd. Definitely the best locals bar in the area outside of the craziness of Las Olas.

I just went to The Fitz last Saturday..such a great bar east Fort Lauderdale. I really liked the decor, and I was impressed how good my Cosmo was. They had a DJ which I thought was pretty cool. I will definitely go back soon.

Some friends invited us to join them to watch the Heat game here on a Friday night. There's street parking right at the front, two chairs outside, bar seating, and tables inside. They have a full bar, food from a food truck, and a DJ. The staff was great! They were all friendly, attentive, and worked quick through the crowd that gathered for the game. At no point did I see anyone waiting long for their drinks, tab, or anything at all. And this was with them not only serving beers but specialty drinks too. The DJ played a great mix of music, stopping when the game was on, allowing us all to hear all the calls, etc. And when on commercials, she would play music again, allowing us not to be bored with the ads. They had this whole thing organized perfectly, running smoothly and everyone having a great fun time.

Fun little bar! Staff is always friendly and helpful with ordering cocktails. I believe they also have a good happy hour.

This is a great place that took me a year to finally visit! There is parking along the street for free. There are two chairs out front, otherwise it's an inside bar only. We walked in at 7pm on a Friday and got seats at the bar. HH is 5-7pm. There was a guy singing and playing guitar at a level where you could easily have a conversation without yelling. There was a food truck out front. They have about 10 beers on tap. Bartenders were great. I'll be back.

The Fitz is basically a destination unto itself as there is not a lot in the area yet to check out in addition to it. I had to laugh as I was driving an out of town guest to The Fitz and he was questioning where I was taking him as it's across the river and a far cry from the Las Olas version of Fort Lauderdale that he usually frequents. But then after visiting, he agreed it's a good thing it's not a Las Olas bar, and I totally agree. This bar has zero pretense, great bartenders who actually know how to make a drink, and they play excellent music. If you are hungry, there is a food truck out front that you can order food from. Checked all of my boxes! The ambiance is nice with plenty of seats at the bar and seating along the wall. If I had a wish- it would be that the seats at the bar didn't have the armrests, as they really weren't very comfortable, but that may be a "curvy girl issue". But what I liked the best was the clientele. We had never been here before and two people at the bar immediately started chatting with me which was nice. The bartender was great and very welcoming as well. Love that a bar of this caliber is so close to home.

I love this bar. The service is great, wonderful selection of music. I love the decor. There is always parking and everytime I've come here, there has been a food truck outside. Definitely worth checking out. Probably my new fav hang out spot.

The owner of this establishment is awesome! Great hospitality and service! Accommodated our large party and it was a fun time to see old and new faces! If you're looking for a great time with the best bartenders in Ft. Lauderdale don't think twice about heading over to the Fitz! Very reasonable prices and feels very homey! What a great addition to the Fort Lauderdale bar scene. I came here a few times for tredd street fair and had such a good time. The drinks are tasty! The bartenders are friendly. Beautifully decorated spot with enough people to be lively but not overly crowded which is a win for me! Service can be a little slow at times so just be prepared for that, but overall the friendliness and positive attitudes of the employees really offset. Highly recommend checking out. They have TVs as well and show some of the games as well.

Service was amazing! Felt like a real neighborhood bar with good vibes and even better music. Met the owner while I was there. Feels great knowing you're supporting a local small business owner that's passionate about his community and his customers having a good time. Caution: if you visit this place once you'll want to go back. Before you know it you're a regular!

Love coming to this bar! This is a perfect spot to watch games or hangout with friends and have a good time. They also have a food truck out front with great food! Can't wait to go back.

Cool new bar in the Tarpon River area. It has a cool look and ambiance to it and seems to be regularly visited by locals. Seems a little off the beaten track from the river and las olas but it's actually only a short walk away. They had a great happy hour Monday through Friday until 7pm. They also have live music on Fridays and the band that was playing when I went was excellent! They have a food truck outside and the food was very good. I had the wings and the fries and they were very good. You order outside and they bring it to you ate your table or bar. Great service and they walk around to see if anyone wants to place an order as well. Will definitely go back and check out some of their other live bands or events they host.

New bar in town, great barteneders, super cool decor and awesome drinks. They also have a food truck and Happy Hour specials from 4-8pm. Great atmosphere and the vibe, this is a great new local hangout spot, live music, TVs and fun events through out the month. Lots of free parking, and minutes away from Las Olas.

New bar that opened up in the FTL area. Normally I get wordy with my reviews but honestly, great service, great ambiance and great prices...what else is there to say. It's in an area of its own but worth the drive. Cocktails we're $12 which was very reasonable for the evening. They also have a food truck that stops around 10pm-ish. Didn't get a chance to try that but I will next time. It's an in house food truck so it has the norm, burgers, fries, etc.... Give this place a shot, it's what Yelp would call "Hot and New"

Great local bar just off the beaten path. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Eclectic crowd on Saturday night that made for a very comfortable and welcoming evening.

Awesome Bar to hang out with friends. I love the ambiance. Bartenders are awesome. Bathrooms are clean and super cool looking. Definitely recommend if you want a bar that has TV's with sports and music video's. The food truck has amazing food as well. Every week they have different events happening.

5 stars!! The bartenders here are so chill, very personable! I highly doubt you'll ever have an issue with any of them. The environment here is super interesting. I almost can't even explain it, there's so much to say. Weird that I'm talking about decorations but you look around and there's so much detail everywhere. Shame on me for not taking pics. The music played has a badass speaker system!! Very high end and it really adds to the environment feel. Such a cool place! Food is outside in a food truck. I didn't order any food this visit.

A super solid bar! Celebrated my girlfriends birthday here for happy hour. The pizza was great. Will definitely be back!

I prefer this to most places in the area. Newer spot and fabulously enthusiastic staff. Food and drinks were spot on. It's really nice to go somewhere that is so clean and has amazing staff. Bravo!

This venue is fantastic, no complaints at all. Jake was our bartender and he was fantastic. The bathrooms are a must see. Each one is decorated different and I won't spoil what that is, but I'm sure there are some pictures on Yelp for you to get a preview. It was raining so we could not take advantage of the outdoor patio area, but it's some thing I would look into the next time I am down this way. They also have a food truck that is there on Friday nights and possibly other nights as well. Whoever thought of the layout and decor for this place definitely hit the mark.

The Fitz is such a great addition to the Ft Lauderdale area! This is such a cool, laid-back bar with a chill vibe and such a refreshing clientele. It's definitely an escape from the younger crowd, but just as fun. The outside area with live music is a great touch, and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend checking out The Fitz for a drink!

I had a great time at the Fitz Bar and Lounge! It's such a cool and laid-back place and definitely one of a kind in Fort Lauderdale! The food and music were great, and the new friends I made were fantastic! The bartenders rocked the drinks that they served and it's definitely on my return bucket list!

A hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale! I have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. From the service to the food to the cocktails, everything is wonderful.

Fitzmagic! My wife and love to walk our dog and grab a drink on a Friday Happy Hour. The Fitz is are new favorite place. Great staff, Jake is the best! Loving the 80's music video's it creates a very cool vibe. Happy hour specials are awesome along with the pizza or pretty much anything from the food truck! We love it keep up the good work and always stay dog friendly!

This time was a weird one for me. I've been going to this place a million times with a good experience. At the end of my my night i was told by the bar manager "dont come back" .... And it just seems to come from me asking details on the bill and leaving no tip because i wasnt satisfied with any of the answers.... Is it wrong to ask where a $150 come from and not being "happy" with the answer they give you?

Came here last night with a few friends to celebrate my birthday, so glad we did! The bartender was on top of our drinks and super friendly. The place has a great vibe with good music videos playing on tv screens. Enjoyed meeting the owner who was extremely nice and hospitable. Can't wait to go back, refreshing to find a bar that isn't the typical tourist type places but had a great local flavor

Very cool little bar right next to the tracks. Only been there for happy hours but staff is friendly and the interior is awesome.

I LOVE this place!! All the bartenders are super friendly and make great drinks, ESPECIALLY Jacob! This is a regular stop for us every weekend and it's always a 11/10 experience. I'm already excited to go back next weekend!!!!

Drinks were great, food was great I loved the fitz fries! A huge plus is that they were pet friendly because we had our puppy with us! Will definitely recommend and come here again!

First of all, let me say, that Jake is a dead ringer for Christian Slater and one of the best bartenders ever! The owner treats his employees like gold and it shows in every asset of this establishment...if you're looking for a "true romance" in Fort Lauderdale--look no further -plus they have a food truck with the best Philly cheesesteaks this side of the Gettysburg address! AKA the cool bar

stopped in and had a drink or two and ordered a philly steak from the food truck, great live music and lots of well known 80's music video's john the owner a great host , good service and nice size place.

This place is brand new and has a really cool vibe. The bartenders are awesome and friendly! We went for the food (truck) and it did not disappoint. Dog friendly, which is a bonus for us!!! Very low key and a nice wind down spot. It's still new so not crowded at all. Definitely will be back!
